Hit Web Design is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They start out seeming like they are goinjg to create a good site for you and the services are absolutely horrible. As soon as they began hosting my website, it has been a nightmere. My email hasn't worked since they transferred it from my previous host (which was 6 months ago) and no one seems to know how to fix it. The website is horrible and they have horrible customer service. If you are thinking about using this company, please don't. They will take your money and you will never be able to get any issue resolved because they are incompetant. I have sent numerous emails and been on the phone trying to get in touch with someone who can help and it is impossible. This is the absolute worst web hosting company around. Aweful!
Yes I would like to join you too. This company is such a rip-off.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Here is a link to their landing page http://webdesignfor199.com/iso/?gclid=CL6RyImlxacCFRFOgwodSQQQFg ... Kinda ridiculous when you cant pay your employees or fulfill your clients needs, but you are spending $1, 000's of dollars on adwords!
Re: whitvalid
Very Nice, the more I learn about these individuals the sicker I feel for ever being associated with them. On the other hand I got along very well with my co workers, we bonded threw our trauma. Your screen name reminds me of 1 particular co worker who always answered my every HTML questions, and was A Monster on photoshop, very grateful for "his" help. Your screen name reminds me of his name "Whit..." If so hope u r doing well, u were missed the moment u left and I think everyone should have followed your lead out the door. If I'm mistaken this will just look like psychotic rambling and should be disregarded :p

if you look at the top it says they have been in business for 10 years, and at the bottom of the image, it says "Web Design by HWS all right rights reserved. Login"
FAIL! And screen shots grabbed.
ethical: please repost your last thread at ISO Webworks/ Hit Web Design — Company Changed names as well. And address it: Kyle, is this difinitive?

So who is going to report this
What do you mean, report it to who? I have a group blog at : http://www.complaintsboard.com/groups/justice-from-getting-hit-webdesign-g3001.html
Im sharing all this info with a resource from Salt Lake tribune. I am also sending this to Ksl and any other interested agencies. Im urging everyone to join the group, share stores, vent and investigate, we dont want other potential clients AND employees to fall subject to this kind of Horse ###!
Dave Aiken,
How are you going to explain yourself ? It was his and her fault wasnt it? I understand. All you know is those 3 letter words...HIT, ISO. I have one your mama should have named you...S.O.B!
I said report as in, this isn't legal is it?
No it shouldnt be legal, I dont think they should be able to bail on their responsibilities and change their name and CEO while carrying on with the same. Good question, sorry for the bad answer. Where would I even begin, sure this is a great way to vent, but who would w report this to? Point me in that direction and I'm all over it!
Well it should be the attorney general. But he never cared before.
And this bail and rename move they made should be taken to a federal office since HIT owes the IRS 10 mil, things should get slightly serious at that point you'd think?
I thought the IRS was mean, what the hell.
@whitvalid the IRS is mean. The hammer is will come down.
My WebEditor is disabled. I requested a couple of updates using my "free" time right before I found out they had gone out of business the day before. The system automatically locks you out once a request is made. Fiber.net could not help me out but they have added that to their list of the information they need to obtain from HIT's "managemen"'. Any suggestions interim? Ahh, just another ongoing probelm with them, it never ends...
ethicalhit: please don't get my HOPES UP

@EXHITDESIGNER..
You were there the very last day they shut the doors like at 11:30 with their awesome meeting? But at 11am they had some guy come in and interview! How wonderful...
Um just as further proof check out the portfolio for both Hit and ISO Webworks. Here HIT has photosbyaw.com Which is Photos by Amanda Wilson. Here is IsoWorksweb in their portfolio with Photos by Amanda Wilson. Look at the layout design and try to tell me it isn't the same site.
So who built the site, HIT Web or IsoWorks. Kevin Morrill you are an idiot for even trying to pass this off. I hope you and everyone else goes to jail and your families lose their homes. Glad I left when I did...
They interviewed someone that day?
They were posting jobs on the internet to hire people during the week.
I am also in the same boat. I have paid Hit Web to build my website and of course have nothing and this has been going on since January. I am also looking to open a case against them. I am willing to join in with anyone who is willing to stand up and take action against these people. I have already filed a police report with Utah. Please feel free to email me so we can get the ball rolling mme907@gmail.com
What did they say in that meeting when they told you it was over?
Feel free to leave a comment on David's Aitken Wife's blog who blames Hit Closing on the economy, and tries to make it look like the medias fault they closed down.

Did she really put are in the title? I might not know my grammar but I know that isn't correct
I guess the troubles with HIT web Design will finally end! New ones to come, I'm sure, but I really learned a valuable lesson regarding checking with the BBB before signing a contract in the future. These guys were a MESS.
lol... Well, they said, "Today is a very tough day for us. Some obstacles came up that we can't overcome so we are closing the door. We had a good fight but can't continue. Sorry, but as of now (which it was 11:30am) we are closing the doors. We wish you the best of luck. We will give you guys the highest recommendations you need. So, if you have questions which I'm sure you will you can email me at: ceo@hitwebdesign.com and talk to your VP's." So, I got David's email too and emailed a few times, but with no response! So, yeah, short and simple and left us. lol
Candace isn't taking our comments anymore. She started her blog to get sympathy, not exposed.
WOW! Just WOW!
Here it is, the phone call you've all been waiting for, Tanner Wolsey over at ISO Webworks. Coincidence, NO! How much more HIT influence do you need at this young web design company called ISO Webworks. Listen for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltyn6NvTb8o
Lets make this Video Viral!
Anyone who allowed Hit Web Design to purchase their domain name can contact enom and have ownership transfered. Enom is very aware of this situation. You just need to show proof of an e-mail sent to you by Hit Web Design that mentions the domain name somewhere. Fibernet has somehow secured all of Hit Web's servers and put them back online yesterday. They claim that they will not be taking any websites off line. Once they get all their ducks in order they will contact site owners and offer them hosting. The hosting plans are very cheap, much cheaper then Hit Web's rip off rate's. Fibernet is also working with a design company to offer support for site owners. I certainly have to commend Fibernet and Enom for their rapid response to this emergency situation. I am a small business owner who uses the internet as a lifeline for my business. I spent hundreds of hours this winter building and optimizing my site using the Hit Designer which did go down for a day. Fortunate enough my site stayed live the entire time.
I do agree with every comment above. This company and it's officers need to be prosecuted. The attorney general had sent me a form to fill out regarding my business with Hit Web. I originally launched my site with Heritage Web back when they were actually a decent company in 2007. Everything pretty much went down hill from there, over charged, no support and on hold for hours only to get disconnected or eventually dumped into a voice mail. Sales lines however would pick the phone up in one ring every time. As soon as you mentioned you needed support they immediately dumped the call to the suppurt Queue. I really hope every single person in the sales department got stiffed on their checks, It was their actions that put everyone in this position. They are a bunch off ### as far as I'm concerned. They were all very aware of the lack of support yet would sell the services as if they were a great reputable company, calling you back and sending and responding to emails. Once they got that credit card, game over you would never hear from them again. F'm all.
I hope the above information with Fibernet and Enom helps. Didn't mean to vent but I could go on forever about this company. Good luck people.
As far as I'm concerned Hit Web has stolen my money and I want it back. I am filing a complaint with the Provo Police. They are sending me a complaint form to email back to them. They indicated that due to the high volume of complaints they have received about Hit Web that it may take some time for their investigation to be conducted. AS a customer, I was never informed they were closing and I paid upfront for 15 months of hosting. They took my money and closed without returning it. That is theft.
The problem with suing Hit is that they have zero assets. On top of that they owe around 9million dollars to the IRS and other entities. We as customers/employees have only one real recourse. Put the owners in jail and stop them from opening up shop under isowebworks.
I have been messed over by Hit since Sept 2010. Same things, website not functioning, no one answering the phone... They owe all of us a ton of money but it doesn't seem possible to get it. These people that ran the company are horrible, hey didn't care about their employees and customers before, what will they care now? I feel lost because part of me wants to fight so hard, but I've been doing that for 6 months and I'm tired of dealing with them! If anyone has a great idea, I'd love to be a part it: yennit84@gmail.com. I'm super angry and I even asked last time I called if they're going out of business because the service was horrible! The woman acted shocked that I would even suggest such a thing! I have probably been kinda rude to some of the tech support guys, I had no idea such horrible work conditions were going on. I thought 'why can't these professional web developers and designers fix a basic flash site that an 18 yr old kid could do?!'. They probably just didn't care about pleasing their boss and who knows what else. But seriously, 6 months of working on a flash site and I have not gotten anywhere! Would any former employees wanna explain why this could be?
Thanks!
Just so you know how a site build with flash went. It would go to the designer who would design the basic layout. Once that is done the account is then forwarded to a flash designer who will design the flash part of your site. Once done it would then go back to the designer to finish placing the flash.
Only one problem with that, in the meantime more accounts have been placed with your designer so he is busy with other sites to try and finish them to get his/her bonus and since your site design was approved earlier they will get to it when they can. The whole design system was flawed. Oh and by the way at one point last year the design team was down to 10 members. That's right 10 members after they let go of their most experienced designers who had been there for years. Good call right?
Also, technically Hit web design (Heritage) hasn't filed for bankruptcy. So they could have easily sold all their assets to isowebworks for one dollar. This would be the status quo for these guys. Think about it, its a perfect way to hid all their assests. So, this must be told to the DA and then the bankruptcy court. You know that bankruptcy is just days or day away..
yeah @hitexemployee I am not sure what their strategy is. They said they wil make an announcement and make good on their promises, and I call that bull [censored].
that it so irritating. I have lost so much business because my portfolio page could not be viewed. I do wedding photography, what bride would trust a photographer who can't even show her pictures on the web?! I have done a lot of work for people that lived far away and I didn't meet them until the wedding day, so that is why my portfolio was so crucial. I feel Hit owes us all so much-does anyone think we can get anything out of them?
@jennadarcy
Since they have no assets, I would say no. the only thing that we can do is make sure that the principle four (maybe more) are prossicuted to the fullest extent of the law. The leased their building and the owners were seen hauling off all the computers, etc. Most likely to set up shop as isowebworks. I would suggest that you call them, isoweborks and demand your money back. They will deny that they are not hit, but its been proven that the VPs of hit design started isowbeorks..
