Home Escape Escape the Fees and Restrictions with Home Escape: A Happy Camper's Review

I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with Home Escape. I got two properties down in Florida and I was getting tired of all the fees and restrictions on Homeaway. So I decided to give this site a try and I'm glad I did. It's super easy to use and I can talk directly to my guests and handle payments myself. I signed up a few months back and I've already gotten a bunch of inquiries and two bookings. Seems like a lot of other folks are making the switch too, what with all the new fees on VRBO. I'm just hoping Home Escape keeps growing so I don't have to rely on Homeaway anymore. All in all, I'm a happy camper.

Home Escape HomeEscape Review: Hassle-Free Booking and Prompt Payments

We've been using HomeEscape for a couple of years now and we gotta say, it's been a pretty good experience. We also use some of the other big sites out there (you know, the ones that seem to have a stranglehold on the market) but we've found that we get a decent number of bookings through HomeEscape too. It's not like we're getting flooded with requests or anything, but we usually get a couple of bookings a year, which is better than nothing.

One thing we really appreciate about HomeEscape is that they pay us promptly. We've never had any issues with their payment platform, which is a relief. We've heard horror stories about other sites that take forever to pay out, or that make it really difficult to get your money, so it's nice to have a platform that just works.

Overall, we don't really have any complaints about HomeEscape. It's not like we're making a ton of money off of it, but it's definitely paying for itself. And honestly, we feel like it's important to support sites like HomeEscape that are trying to break up the monopoly that some of the other sites seem to have. We don't want to be completely at the mercy of one or two big companies, you know?

Anyway, if you're looking for a site to list your vacation rental on, we'd definitely recommend giving HomeEscape a try. It's easy to use, the booking process is hassle-free, and we've had a good experience with it so far. Thanks, HomeEscape!

Home Escape Beware of Home Escape: My Experience with a Scam Listing

I gotta say, I'm not too sure about this Home Escape website. I mean, are they really checking out these properties before they list them? 'Cause I got scammed by some guy named Kevin who listed a place in Maui called Luana Garden Villa. Lost a whole $15,000! And get this - the real vacation rental is listed on VRBO. Wish I had known that before. But Kevin, he took pictures of the actual place and posted 'em for way cheaper on Home Escape. And now I can't even get in touch with anyone from Home Escape. They blocked me and I can't even log in anymore. I've tried reaching out multiple times, but no one's getting back to me. I bet there are other fake listings on there too. So, just be careful if you're thinking about using Home Escape.

Home Escape Home Escape Review: Lacking Security Measures and Customer Care

So, I gotta tell ya, I had a pretty bad experience with Home Escape. I was lookin' for a vacation rental and stumbled upon their website. They claim to be all about security and reviewin' their home owners, but let me tell ya, that's a bunch of baloney. I ended up gettin' scammed by someone who was posin' as a home owner on their site. And get this, they even sent me confirmation emails from the Home Escape email address! That's just plain ridiculous.

So, I reached out to Home Escape to let 'em know what happened and they just removed the scammer from their site and that was it. Nothin' else. I mean, come on, they should be doin' more to protect their customers.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Home Escape to anyone lookin' for a vacation rental. Their security measures are clearly lacking and they don't seem to care much about their customers' safety.

Home Escape Home Escape: The Best Vacation Rental in NOTL with Angelo and Kerri

We've been going to NOTL for ten summers now and every single time we've booked with Angelo and Kerri from Home Escape. They are the best! They always make sure that we have everything we need and are always available to answer any questions we may have. We've stayed at the Avalon for the past nine summers and it's just amazing. It's an old house but it's been updated so it has everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect too. We can walk everywhere we need to go, whether it's to get groceries, go to the park, or just stroll down the main street. And if we don't feel like going out, we can just hang out by the pool in the backyard. It's so nice and relaxing. Angelo and Kerri really know how to make their guests feel at home. We can't recommend them enough!

Home Escape Homeescape: A Fee-Free Alternative for Vacation Rentals

I'm a renter who's always on the lookout for great vacation rental deals. I've used VRBO and other similar sites in the past, but lately, I've been feeling frustrated with the new fees they've been charging renters like me. That's when I stumbled upon Homeescape, and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed.

I've been checking out Homeescape's listings for a while now, hoping to find the perfect vacation rental for my next trip. While I haven't found anything that suits my needs just yet, I've been back to the site several times because I'm hopeful that more listings will be added soon.

What I really appreciate about Homeescape is that they don't charge renters like me any fees. As someone who's always looking for ways to save money, this is a huge plus. And I'm not alone - I've talked to a lot of people who are also fed up with the fees charged by other vacation rental sites and are looking for alternatives.

So, if you're a homeowner who's looking to list your property for rent, I highly encourage you to consider Homeescape. Even if you already have listings on other sites, it's worth adding your property to Homeescape too. After all, there are a lot of renters like me who are actively avoiding sites that charge fees, and we're all waiting for more listings to show up on Homeescape.

Overall, I'm really impressed with Homeescape and I'm excited to see how the site grows and evolves in the future. If you're a renter like me, I definitely recommend checking it out - you might just find your dream vacation rental without having to pay any extra fees.

Home Escape Homeescape: The Alternative to VRBO for Homeowners

I gotta say, I was pretty darn happy with VRBO for the past 3 years. But then they went and changed their pricing structure, and I just couldn't justify renewing with them anymore. They started tacking on a processing fee for renters, which could be anywhere from 5 to 12% (or maybe even more or less, who knows?). And as a homeowner, I really want to be able to vet my renters before I let them stay in my place. But with VRBO's new setup, I wouldn't be able to do that anymore. Plus, they were only accepting payments through their own system, which just didn't sit right with me.

Thankfully, I found Homeescape. They've kept the original VRBO format from before Expedia bought them out, which means I can post my place for free or pay a small fee for extra services. And best of all, I still get to stay in control of my property. Homeescape lets me vet my renters and accept payments directly, so I don't have to worry about any middlemen getting in the way.

Overall, I'm really happy with Homeescape. It's a great alternative to VRBO, and I'd definitely recommend it to any homeowners out there looking to rent out their place.

Home Escape HomeEscape: The Better Alternative to Greedy Vacation Rental Platforms

I'm so happy I found HomeEscape! I've been using HomeAway/VRBO for years, but they've become so darn greedy that the vacation rental experience just isn't the same anymore. But with HomeEscape, I can list my property and pay a subscription fee without feeling like I'm being taken advantage of. They need to make money too, right? And they're still letting me manage my own property, which is super important to me. I mean, I want to be able to talk to potential renters and make sure they're a good fit for my place. But with HomeAway/VRBO, they won't let you communicate outside of their platform. If you try, they'll shut down your listing! That's just not fair. But with HomeEscape, you can talk to renters, decide on rental terms, and even take payment outside of the platform. As long as they keep doing things this way, I'll keep paying the subscription fee and using their site. It's just so much easier and more enjoyable than dealing with those other guys.

Home Escape Home Escape: The Best Alternative to VRBO/Homeaway - A Review

I wrote a review for Home Escape a while back (it was a good one), but now that I've been using them for 7 months and have completed over 10 successful transactions, I wanted to give them another shoutout! They are hands down the best option for travelers and owners who are sick of dealing with VRBO/Homeaway. I hope more people start using them because, seriously, why wouldn't you? It's TOTALLY FREE for owners to list their properties and travelers don't have to pay those ridiculous "traveler service fees" that are really just booking fees. It's just Exgredia at its worst, trying to make more money for less service since taking over VRBO/Homeaway last year.

Another thing I love about Home Escape is that they don't hide owner or traveler phone or email information like Homeaway/VRBO do. That means owners and travelers can communicate freely without any interference. And let's be real, when something goes wrong with your rental (like the A/C breaking or getting locked out), you're not going to call Homeaway/VRBO for help. You're going to call the OWNER. So why pay those extra fees for nothing? Book through HOMEESCAPE and save yourself the hassle. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Home Escape Disappointing Experience with Home Escape: Site Won't Load, Photo Upload Issues, and Bidding System

I tried to access Home Escape from different locations using my phone and computer, but the site wouldn't load. I was able to register as a new property, but when I tried to upload high-resolution photos of my luxury property, the site said they were too big. I tried uploading low-resolution photos, but those didn't work either. After that, the site stopped loading altogether.

I was disappointed because I had high hopes for Home Escape, especially since they were offering a special deal for $199.00. I read an article that said it was started by a former HomeAway employee, and I was hoping for a similar platform to list my property on.

However, I'm now suspicious of the person behind Home Escape and his website. I don't like the idea of having to buy "points" and bid against other property owners to get my listing at the top of the search results. I think it would be better if everyone had a chance to be at the top of the list on a rotating basis.

I want all vacation rentals to succeed, but I don't want to get into a bidding war with my friend who owns a VRBO across the street from me. That's why I'll stick with Trip Advisor, where I know up front that I'll pay a booking fee and receive payment 24 hours after my guest arrives. I've even earned an award of excellence and moved up in Trip Advisor search results.

In contrast, Home Escape's contract says I'll receive payment 5-7 days after my guest arrives, which isn't ideal for me. My contract says I'll receive payment 60 days in advance, which is much better.

Overall, I had high hopes for Home Escape, but it's not going to be the platform I use to list my property after I leave HomeAway.

Home Escape Disappointing Options and Lackluster Advertising: My Review of Home Escape

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Home Escape. I was hoping to find a better alternative to VRBO, but these guys just don't have enough options. I mean, come on, only five units in Myrtle Beach? That's just not gonna cut it. I need more choices if I'm gonna find the perfect vacation rental for me and my family.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that Home Escape is trying to do something different. They're not as big and corporate as VRBO, and that's definitely a plus. But at the end of the day, I need to be able to find a place to stay that meets my needs. And with only five options in one of the most popular vacation spots in the country, Home Escape just isn't cutting it.

I also have to say, their advertising is pretty lacking. I mean, if they want to compete with the big boys like VRBO, they need to step up their game. I'm not seeing their ads anywhere, and that's a problem. If they want to attract more customers, they need to get their name out there.

Overall, I'm just not impressed with Home Escape. They have potential, but they need to work on expanding their offerings and improving their advertising if they want to be a real player in the vacation rental market.

Home Escape Home Escape Failed to Refund Deposit After Canceled Trip - Frustrated Customer Seeks Help

So, I booked a trip with Home Escape about 6 months ago. I was so excited to go on vacation and relax in a beautiful home. But, the owner of the property ended up selling it and canceled our trip. I was so disappointed and upset. I reached out to Home Escape to get my deposit back, but they haven't returned it yet. It's been months and I still haven't received my money back. I don't know what to do. Should I hire an attorney to get my deposit back? I feel like I'm getting no help from the company. It's frustrating and I just want my money back.

Home Escape Delayed Refund from Home Escape for Cancelled Trip - Frustrated Customer Seeks Resolution

So, I had to cancel a trip because of a death in my family. The owner was really cool and gave me my money back right away through Home Escape. But now, I'm having a problem with Home Escape because they haven't given me my money back yet. It's been over a month and I've sent them two support tickets and a bunch of emails, but I still don't have my almost $1000.00 back! I'm really starting to get frustrated because I want my money back ASAP!

Home Escape Think Twice Before Joining Home Escape: My Frustrating Experience as a Host

I had some issues with the owner of Home Escape and when I tried to ask some questions, my account got deactivated without any explanation. It was really frustrating because I was one of the first people to register on this site in my city. This means that potential guests may have a hard time finding your listing among all the chaos.

Honestly, I would recommend thinking twice before leaving other popular vacation rental sites to join Home Escape. It might be better to use it as an additional platform rather than relying on it completely. You don't want to risk putting your business in the hands of someone who seems a little crazy.

And if you're a guest looking for a place to stay, be careful. You never know what kind of issues you might encounter with the owner or the site itself. It's always better to be safe than sorry, so make sure to do your research and read reviews before booking anything on Home Escape.

Home Escape Disappointing Experience with Home Escape: Stick with VRBO for Reliable Vacation Rental Assistance

So, I gave Home Escape a call today to get some help with my 5 vacation rental properties that I had posted on their website. I was taken aback by their response, which was something along the lines of "We'll just deactivate your listing!" I mean, come on! I make several thousand dollars a week from these rentals, and this is how they treat me? Needless to say, I won't be using Home Escape anymore. I'll stick with VRBO, even though it's a bit more expensive. At least they have a track record of helping me and my guests out in difficult situations.

It's a shame, really. I had high hopes for Home Escape, but it seems like they have a long way to go before they can compete with the big dogs. I mean, just look at their website - it's not exactly user-friendly, and it's no wonder that few of their properties have any reviews.

Anyway, good luck to Home Escape on their growth. Maybe one day they'll be able to provide the kind of service that their customers deserve. But until then, I'll be sticking with VRBO.

Home Escape Home Escape Review: Payment Issues Causing Headaches for Hosts

This company, Home Escape, is a bit of a headache when it comes to getting paid. At first, things were going smoothly, but in the past year, it's been a real struggle to receive payment. I've had to call their support person multiple times, and every time I do, they tell me that my issue is being "escalated." It's frustrating because I've already had two guests check in and out, but I still haven't received any money.

It's a shame because Home Escape has the potential to be a great company, but they keep pulling these stunts. I'm seriously considering canceling my subscription because I don't want to deal with this headache anymore. I hope they can get their act together and start paying their hosts on time.
