Honda World service department was professional, courteous, and informative
Honda World service department was professional, courteous, and informative. They explained the services real good. They took their time to make sure I understood what they were doing. They were nice and didn't rush me. They did a good job explaining everything.
Superior maintenance service!
Superior maintenance service! You can drop off your car and pick up or they shuttle you back home and pick you up when the vehicle is ready. Convenient and fair prices. The best part is they guarantee all work done. I bought 3 Hondas there and only service there.
I've been totally happy with the service I've been getting from Honda World Service at 1 Autocenter Dr
I've been totally happy with the service I've been getting from Honda World Service at 1 Autocenter Dr. (Louisville, Ky) for years. The staff is always nice and helpful, they work fast, and the waiting area is always clean. I would recommend this service center to anyone.
I went for a Recall Service appointment on 7/30 and was helped by Advisor Mike ***
I went for a Recall Service appointment on 7/30 and was helped by Advisor Mike ***. He and the rest of the servicecenter were highly professional and knowledgeable. We left the car at Honda World and were transported back and forth by a complimentary shuttle driver! The whole experience was fantastic and went smoothly and super efficiently. Louisville Honda World is run expertly and I recommend them highly.
Grate servis, got our Pilot in and repaired in one day, we didn't even have an appointment
Grate servis, got our Pilot in and repaired in one day, we didn't even have an appointment. What the servis department didn't know was that we were in a dire need to get this vehicle back on the road and they accomplished this. The most impressive part of the experience was when I told them the Pilot had become disabled (what turned out to be an engine sensor) they servis department apologized for the problem the vehicle had caused us. First time I have ever had a servis department apologize, we didn't even purchase this vehicle from this dealer. Thanks for the grate servis.
I went to Honda World 'cause I got a Recall on my Honda Fit Axle Driveshaft
I went to Honda World 'cause I got a Recall on my Honda Fit Axle Driveshaft. They gave me a Rental Car just in case the Inspection found a problem and it would take a few days to fix. The lady, Debra Judd, who helped me was super helpful in keeping me informed. When I first came in, they didn't have a rental available, so she made sure we scheduled for the next day when one was free. Turns out, my car axles were fine and the driveshaft inspection showed no problem. They did a free inspection on my car and didn't charge for any of their services. I got my car back in 4 hours.
I bought a car and put down a deposit
I bought a car and put down a deposit. The salesperson told me about extra stuff they added and a 50% discount for Costco customers, which made the price the same as what the dealer paid. I thought about it and didn't want most of the extras, so I asked if they could leave them off since they wouldn't make any money from them. The salesperson said they would talk to me before adding anything (but they didn't). Today, they told me the car was ready for pick up tomorrow morning. When I asked about the extras, the salesperson said I had to take them. I didn't understand why they would force something on a customer that they didn't want, especially if it didn't benefit them at all. So, I asked to speak to the manager. He introduced himself and immediately told me he wouldn't make any changes and asked if I still wanted the car. When I asked why he would rather make me take something I didn't want instead of just not adding the extras (remember, it was supposed to be at the dealer's cost), he admitted that the dealership would actually make a profit. They all lied!
Me and my daughter went to Honda World - Big Lot on Hurstbourne to check out a 2008 *** Legacy that just came in
Me and my daughter went to Honda World - Big Lot on Hurstbourne to check out a 2008 *** Legacy that just came in. The car hadn't been inspected or detailed yet, so we couldn't test drive it. But just by looking at it and starting it up, we knew we wanted to buy it after the inspection and test drive. I told the salesman I wanted to put a hold on the car, which cost $500. That was no problem for me, I had a check ready to go. When I tried to pay the $500 hold with my debit card, they gave me a Buyers Agreement with all the financial stuff and asked me to sign it along with the deposit. I couldn't sign it because the car hadn't been inspected yet, so they couldn't confirm if the numbers were fair. I talked to the manager at the Big Lot and he said he needed me to sign the agreement to make sure I would actually buy the car. He was worried about losing money if I changed my mind. The salesman told me the agreement wasn't legally binding, but that's not true. The manager said he needed the agreement because of the chip shortage and the difficulty of getting used cars. He might have trouble selling the car or have to wait up to two weeks for the inspection at the dealership. Again, the car hadn't been inspected yet, so I couldn't test drive it. It wasn't because I was taking too long to buy it, I had the money ready. It was because the dealership hadn't finished the inspection since the car had just arrived. The manager also said that many people buy cars without test driving them. But my problem was that the car hadn't been inspected. So I didn't want to sign a legally binding contract when they weren't even sure about the price reflecting the car's value. They wouldn't let me put a $500 hold on the car. As a customer, as a woman, as a black woman, I feel like they didn't take me seriously and took advantage of me. The practices weren't ethical, realistic, or fair to the customer. They shouldn't have made me sign the buyers agreement for a car that hadn't been inspected yet. It was a manipulative and really bad customer service experience. My daughter saved her money and I was going to pay the rest for her because she's an amazing person, daughter, and student with a GPA of 3.5 and going to college soon. Unfortunately, this was a real-life lesson for her to not spend money where she's not valued as a customer.

I used the service where they picked up my car, serviced it, and returned my car. I was completely satisfied, and I thought the price was very reasonable. I would use Honda World for my servicing needs again.

Excellent customer service!
Excellent customer service! I recently had several recalls addressed and regular maintenance completed on my 2019 Odyssey. Doug in the service department was friendly, efficient, and kept me updated on progress. I live quite a distance from the dealership so I needed to wait while my van was being worked on. The service team went above and beyond to ensure that my van was done as soon as possible, several hours before the original time projected. I did spend three hours in the waiting room. It was clean and I was able to complete work without distraction. Thank you for a great experience.
I had my 2018 *** serviced on 2/4 for a recall on a software problem fix, oil change, and tire rotation and balance
I had my 2018 *** serviced on 2/4 for a recall on a software problem fix, oil change, and tire rotation and balance. Service manager Mike was extremely courteous and professional! Honda paid for a loaner( software problem). Work was done in a timely manner. However, while driving home the low tire pressure light came on. I reset system and again light came on! When I got home checked tire pressure. The tire pressure s/b 32lbs. Two front tires were both 37.5 and rear tires 39.5. Obviously tech did not check pressure! Now I wonder if oil was changed or software fixed! Someone needs to retrain tech!

On Sunday Sept 20, 2020, I asked about a car on their website
On Sunday Sept 20, 2020, I asked about a car on their website. I said I wanted to buy it and even got a trade-in offer for my car. I set an appointment for today (Monday September 21) at 1 PM. I also filled out a credit application to confirm my interest in the car. When I got to my appointment to buy the car, they said it was already sold. We talked to the VIP Sales Manager, ***. He told us the car was actually a pre-order for a customer and was never available. Then I spoke to the new car sales manager ***. He said he could find a car for me. I told him I could do that myself online. I was mad that they checked my credit for a car they didn't have. He said they didn't check my credit, but I got a notification that they did. As you know, credit checks lower your credit score and affect your interest rate. I'm still going to buy a car, but when my credit report comes back, my interest rate will be affected and I'll have to pay more over the loan period.
I bought a new 2016 Honda HR-V from Honda World in Louisville, KY on 2.24.2017
I bought a new 2016 Honda HR-V from Honda World in Louisville, KY on 2.24.2017. The VIN number for this car is ***, and it had 117 miles on it when I bought it. My salesman was ***. The total cost of the car was $32,526.22. I traded in my 2012 *** when I bought the HR-V. As part of my service agreement, I had Honda GAP coverage for $850, Extended Service Contract to TWS for $1,743, registration fees, title/lien fees, outstanding balance on trade-in, sales tax, processing fee, and all other fees, which added up to the financed amount of $32,526.22. I also had a Lifetime Limited Powertrain Warranty, and a contract # *** that says it is a First Mile Powertrain Wraparound Vehicle Service Contract with Platinum coverage, $100 deductible, 84 months/70,000 miles. Now, let's fast forward. I sold my car back to Honda World on 1.15.2020, and since then, it has been really difficult to get any help. *** was the person who handled all the paperwork and finalized the buyback at Honda World. On January 15, at 11:27am, I gave *** my card to pay off the $3400.74 that I still owed after they bought the Honda HR-V from me. When they bought the car from me, it had 30,087 miles on it. I barely drove it during the three years I had it. I took really good care of it and always made my payments on time, with full coverage insurance, which I know is required. I also had it serviced as needed at Honda World. After the buyback, I asked *** if there was anything else I needed to do, and she said NO. I asked if I needed to cancel my payments with the payment plan, and she said NO. I trusted that she knew what she was talking about. But on January 17, $265.19 was taken out of my bank account for a car I NO LONGER HAD. I immediately called Honda World and it was a mess. I talked to *** first, and then a manager named ***, who said he would get back to me. After waiting for hours, I called him back, and he told me he had been too busy to look into my issue. Wow. Maybe he could hear how upset I was or maybe he just wanted to get rid of me, but after hanging up quickly, he called back right away and told me I needed to call and cancel with Smart Payment Plan. I thought I didn't have to do anything. So, I called them and they reversed the payment. I got $261.70 back on January 27, so I didn't even get the full amount that was taken out. Now, I keep receiving reminders from Honda Financial Services thanking me for financing my car and saying that my account was paid off before the scheduled maturity date and that I had active Credit Life Insurance, Accident and Health, and/or Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) coverage when I paid it off. On March 3, I sent a long email to *** and asked him to forward it to ***, since *** wanted to know why I didn't buy another car from them in an email on January 23, through ***. It's funny how they treat me so badly but still want to know why I haven't bought another car from them. *** apologized for everything that happened with the extra money being taken out in January, and he gave me ***'s name and number: ***. I called ***, because *** said that he would handle any refund I was owed. On March 4, *** and I talked on the phone, and he told me that I am only eligible for GAP, and that I definitely have money coming back to me. He said he would backdate it to when I sold them the car back in January, but he mentioned that there is a "woman who would email me papers to sign." I said, great! He said he would do it right then, so I expected it to be done by the end of the day. But nothing happened. I called him on March 5 and left a voicemail, but I didn't hear anything back. I called *** again on March 6, left another voicemail with my contact info, including my email, and said that I would have to contact someone else if I didn't hear back by the end of the day. Still, no response. No one said a word. So, on March 6, I emailed *** to see if he could help or escalate the issue. But I didn't hear anything back from him. This is the most unethical business I have ever dealt with. Now, let's fast forward to today. I received a 60-day reminder from Honda Financial Services thanking me for financing my car and saying that I had active Credit Life insurance, Accident and Health, and/or GAP coverage when I paid it off. So, I called *** one last time to see what's going on, left a message, and I still haven't heard from ANYONE at Honda World. I am reading my papers now, even though I was told not to open the envelope that had all my financing paperwork when I bought the car. But now that I have opened it, I see that I should get a refund from the First Mile Powertrain Wraparound Vehicle Service Contract AND GAP. Where is my money and why can't these people contact me like they said they would? This should all be backdated to the date I sold the car back, as *** told me. I have done everything I was supposed to do. I shouldn't have to go through all this trouble to get my money back from Honda World. I gave them my phone number and email address for them to send me the paperwork, like *** said "this woman" would take care of. The only person who had the decency to respond to me was ***, but even though he responded, I didn't make any progress with getting my refund(s). I want my money back from GAP, and if I am owed any money from the First Mile Powertrain Wraparound Vehicle Service Contract or anything else from this unethical business, I want it back as soon as possible. I want to be done with this place forever. This is a NIGHTMARE!
