Refund not received
On the 9th June I cancelled my online booking that I had made with HotelOne for one nights accommodation at Kings Park Hotel in Perth Western Australia for the night of the 20th June 2023. I did not need to make this booking so asked that it be cancelled. I then received notice from HotelOne that the reservation had been cancelled and received a refund notice for the amount of AUD210 dollars. The refund notice advised that this refund would be processed within 3 to 7 days but this did not happen. I have sent two emails to HotelOne but did not receive any reply.

I booked a reservation for the Concord hotel in Quebec City, Canada for 4 different rooms as I booked for the group.
When I got the email conformation I notice that I was charged the full amount of $2,230.60.
I immediately cancelled this booking for Pierrette Troutman, Richard Troutman, Robert Troutman and Tom Magee. I was doing them a favor and cannot afford to pay up front. Anyhow, I told them this immediately.
Somehow because I cancelled right away I trusted your company and did not realize that I was charged until I received my bank statement.

I booked 2 nights at the Sandman Inn Kamloops for April 14 and 15th.
I thought I was on the Sandman site but was surprised to find out I had been on the HotelOne site.
The total amount for our stay was $381.98. This went through my account on March 14, 2023. I used Virtual Visa so know when it occurred.
I have a receipt from the hotel showing all the charges and their total is $268.28.
This leaves a difference of $113.70.
I would like a refund of $113.70.

When I was on the hotel website, I thought I was dealing directly with them. I entered my credit card number for and April 3rd reservation, but I did not complete the transaction. I never received a confirmation email and I didn't know I was dealing with Hotelsone.com. When I called the hotel, they said that they could not give a refund as the room was booked by a third party. So, I have been charged $193 CAN for a hotel room I never used. I was not aware it was booked until I got a text on Apr. 3rd saying that I was expected for check-in.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund.
No refund for cancelled reservation
Of course, I had called to cancel a reservation due to a change in plans. I spoke to a HotelsOne representative who assured me the reservation was cancelled. On the evening of the reservation, I was texted by the hotel to see when I would check in. I told them I had cancelled and would not be checking in. They claimed they had not been informed. I called HotelsOne twice to investigate. The connection was lost on the first call and the representative did not attempt to call me back despite his having my phone number. I called again and got into a lengthy debate with another representative who claimed I had not called prior and had not cancelled despite my saying I had. I continued to ask her "Are you saying I am lying or that I am crazy because I did call and I did cancel?" All she kept saying was that "her system" said I had not. Gee, we all know how foolproof systems are! Nevertheless, the system was to be believed--not the customer who now lost $350 plus.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology from the company for its employee's dismissive behavior and a full refund of the reservation I had cancelled.

Hotel booking through HotelsOne
I booked a hotel at Railroad Pass in Las Vegas on 2/6/2023. At the time I thought the booking was through the hotel, but discovered it was through a third party HotelsOne. I never received a confirmation and called a few days before our checkin to confirm my reservation. Upon checking in the hotel wanted to collect an additional $154 for deposit and additional fees. The room was terrible, the bathroom fixtures were falling off the wall and the room was dirty, the hotel was booked and didn’t have any rooms available. The next morning we checked out and was told we would not get billed for the $154 and receive a full refund. I called HotelsOne and they had no record of my reservation. Upon returning from my vacation,I have called HotelsOne and Expedia 11 times regarding my refund. I am put on hold and told they need to call the hotel to confirm - average hold time is 10 minutes and the CS person disconnects the call or puts me on hold again. Several phone calls the CS rep cold calls to another representative, who tells me I need to call Expedia. Expedia refers customers back to HotelsOne - it’s an endless cycle. I have asked HotelsOne to transfer me to a manager, put on hold for 45 minutes and when the CS rep came back on the line she states the manager is unavailable and when I ask for the manager’s name I’m told they don’t have one.
WTH - horrible customer service, trying to get a refund is nearly impossible and their standard protocol. Consumers be warned, this company is a fraud and CS reps are incompetent.

Hotel booking on Jan 13 2023 #[protected]
I booked a hotel room back January for one night in February and the total removed from my mastercard far exceeded the amount I paid online. I booked for 326 or something close to that. And I was charged 447.36.
I have been trying to get some help with this. Calling Hotelsone the first time the clerk just kept repeating the charged amount and told me to call the hotel to deal with it. The hotel said it was done through the online company and they had no record of what I was charged.
Again I called Hotelsone and asked for a receipt from the transaction. (My receipt emailed to me was unable to be opened. this time the clerk siad that the amount was in American dollars and changed into Canadian and that is why the amount went up.
So I went online and saw that actually there was 98.36$ added as tax recover charges and service fees. When I booked all these charges were included and certainly are included in any other company selling hotel reservations online.
I would like the amount charged to my mastercard to reflect the original amount of the purchase. And I would like to speak to a human who has some authority and who can clear this up for me.

Re Booking Number [protected] in the name of Phillip George Stott for a room at the Sebel Launceston hotel.
On August 30, 2022 I booked a room at the hotel for two nights. The amount ($578.00) was debited to our credit card on that date. However, our itinerary was amended somewhat such that we would be spending only one night in Launceston, so I accessed the booking site and notified you on the 'Change' page of your website of the amendment (see attached screen shot) on December 9, 2022.
Nevertheless there was no subsequent credit for the unused night.

Booked hotel for 7 nights on 15th Sept, through HotelsOne.com, circumstances made me change it to 3 nights stay. No ability on website to change booking, just cancel. Called HotelsOne.com 3 times, finally contacted the venue direct to change booking. No confirmation from HotelsOne.com in writing, even though requested. My money was taken out immediately the booking was made but 3 phone calls and 3 emails (all not responded to) later, and more than 2 months later, I have not received any communication nor my refund of over $600 for the nights not used.
Desired outcome: I would like my refund as soon as possible.
Fraudulent representation!
DO NOT USE HOTELS ONE and be very careful that they have not inserted themselves in front of the hotel web site.
On Oct. 10 I booked a room at La Montagnais hotel in Chicoutimi. On Oct. 11, I realized that I had booked for Oct. 13 instead of Oct. 12. Before cancelling I went to what I thought was the hotel site to see if they had any rooms for Oct. 12. They did but the prices were higher by $25. I thought it was because it was a same day booking and the area is popular. however, when my invoice came via email I saw that there was a service charge which brought the total bill up to $48 more than my first booking! I looked a little closer and realized that the invoice was coming from some site called hotelsone. I went back to the original hotel site (more carefully this time!) and found that the original price was still what they were charging.
Hotelsone is a scam and should be charged with fraud. They have set themselves up to look exactly like the original hotel site, they charge far more and they charge the full amount immediately to your credit card.
Desired outcome: I want the excess charges returned or better yet, cancel the entire booking!And I'd like their fraudulent practices exposed!
Hotel reservation - unauthroizred credit card charges
On 8/21/2022 I made a reservation [protected]) for the Raphael Hotel in Kansas City, MO. On 8/23/2022 I upgraded the reservation. I was told that there would be no charge to upgrade the reservation. Your representative told me that there would be no fee for cancelling the original reservation since it was an upgrade. I received my CC bill and I have been charged for both reservation.

We reserved a room at the Castel hotel on August 22, 2022. My spouse called a number and had an English speaking women at the other end. He was surprised since we are from Quebec, Canada and we were reserving a room in Granby, Quebec. The women told us they were being redirected to another site to reserve. My spouse did not think more of it. We made our reservation and the lady told me the amount that would be charge to my credit card. Turns out that amount was in US dollars and not Canadian dollars. We asked about fees for cancellations while doing our reservation and she says it is 100% reimbursable as long we cancel the previous day before 6pm. Once we noticed it was actually US dollars we decided to cancel the same day we made the reservation and book with another site that was at a lower price. We only got refunded one night, therefore I contacted the company and they told me I agreed to a cancellation policy that has a penalty of one night + taxes, therefore I was only reimbursed one night out of 2, even though I cancelled the same day. The company said I agreed to this, but something else all together was said to us on the phone while completing our reservation. How can I agree to something that wasn’t told to us plus they include this policy in the confirmation email only after they bill you, which I only found after I contacted them about my total refund. I find this very unfair, when the hotel’s policy itself is to cancel the same day before 12pm. This company are thieves and are basically stealing people.

I booked two rooms (on August 4th, 2021) for Sept 14 - 17, 2021 at the Wyvern Hotel in Punta Gorda Florida. I believed I was booking directly through the hotel but am now told it was through Expedia. Somehow that got booked through HotelOne. The Wyvern and Expedia booking is refundable and they take a credit card to hold for the reservation. I received an email from HotelOne that confirmed my reservation and charged my card for the entire amount: $ 929.88.
I thought I had been scammed so I called the hotel. They did confirm the booking but could not tell me why the booking went through HotelOne.
We are cancelling the trip because of the Covid Surge in Florida. Hotel One cancelled the rooms but tells me they can not refund my money.
To me this is a total scam. HotelOne has gotten hold of my booking by fraudulently making it appear I was booking through the hotel or Expedia.
There was no mention of a non refundable payment during the booking. Both rooms were shown as refundable while I was booking them. HotelOne never came up in this process and I wasn't aware they had anything to do with the booking until I received their email that day.
