I initially made an order on August 13, 2020 for a full exhaust from headers back. The cost was $1500, which was within my budget. I have to admit, I had to make multiple calls to their customer service hotline but unfortunately, they never answered my calls. I had to resort to sending an email to them asking about my order. To my dismay, they replied back saying that the exhaust system has been back-ordered. I felt frustrated because I was really looking forward to installing the exhaust and enjoying its high-performance capabilities.
A month passed and I still haven't received my order. I didn't receive any updates from them, so I decided to send them another email requesting a full refund. Then, I received an email almost immediately which contained a tracking number. I was hopeful that I would finally receive my exhaust system. Unfortunately, I was wrong again because instead of the full order, they only sent me half of my order. What's worse was that they hadn't given me advanced notice that they were going to send the half order. I was really disappointed as it had been months since I made the order.
Fast forward to November 24, 2020, and I still haven't received my full order. I was trying to be patient but it was getting unbearable. Yes, I received a tracking number for the second half of my order, but that was already three weeks ago. It has been so long, yet I have to make several follow-ups and emails to the customer service team. This experience is just frustrating, and it seems like they don't care about customer service at all.

I've been stuck researching the Magnaflow system for my beautiful 2009 Dakota 4.7 V8 for a couple of years now. After all the analyzing, I saw the price go up by $85! Can you believe it? Wowsers! Finally, I decided to check out hottexhaust.com after seeing 6 or 7 other online companies. These guys were offering the best possible deal and legit had free shipping, talk about a bonus!
Knowing that I had to use a discount code made me a bit apprehensive, as the other places I looked at were a bit confusing. But dang, hottexhaust.com had a straightforward process for applying those discount codes. Could it get any better than that? I mean, come on! I decided to take a chance, even though I was nervous that the delivery would be slow and unresponsive.
Boy, was I wrong about that! Even though the package was being shipped from the west coast to the east coast, I was delighted to find that it arrived quicker than the estimated time of arrival. Even better, the package was in perfect condition, not damaged at all! When I finally opened the package, I found everything there, in excellent shape. I ended up paying less than I would have back in January 2019 when I first started looking to buy the Magnaflow system! Can you believe it?
If I ever need to make more purchases in the future, I know I'll be heading straight to hottexhaust.com without any hesitations. Trust me, they're worth checking out, and I suggest you do the same, my lovely friends!

So, I recently got my hands on a HOTT Exhaust from hottexhaust.com and it arrived yesterday. Gotta say, I am quite pleased with the product. The installation was a breeze and it looks fantastic on my car. However, I have to admit that I am a bit disappointed with the shipping time. The website does claim that it would take 3 days to ship, but it took them 4 days. No biggy though, I'm not even tripping out on that.
What I am tripping out on, however, is the customer service. It is hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. In my situation, it was nearly impossible to get in touch with anybody. I tried calling and contacting them, but nobody answered. Even when I left a message for them to get back to me, which I did around three or four times, they never did. To this day, I have not received a response from them. For this reason alone, I would never order from them again on the off-chance that I might need to contact them in the future.
Despite the fact that the product was of good quality, I cannot stress how vital good customer service is. It is even more crucial than the product itself. Therefore, I rate my experience with HOTT Exhausts a 1.
Good Experience with HOTT Exhaust, but Fedex's Delivery Mishap Caused Hassle
I gotta say, I was pretty satisfied with HOTT Exhaust. But let me tell you, I ain't too thrilled with FedEx. I had a good mind to call their customer service hotline and give them a piece of my mind! HotExhaust and I had agreed that they would get my signature upon delivery since I live in a hoopla of an apartment building. I wasn't about to have them leave my package outside the door like they've done before. But what did the driver do? Signed for my darn package and left it at my door anyways! You best believe I'd rather they take it to the nearest distribution center instead. Talk about annoying! Luckily a buddy of mine came by and grabbed it for me cause I wasn't gonna be home for another ride-on zone forklift free 4 hours. If you're thinking about using HOTT Exhaust for your car needs, I would highly advise against it! My experience dealing with them was simply terrible. They provided me with incorrect information about the parts I needed, even though I knew it did not make sense to have the same exhaust system for two very different engines with different horsepower ratings. It was a 290HP non-turbo and a 355HP twin-turbo engine which could not use the same exhaust system. I tried to get in touch with them via email, but they refused to respond to my request to place the order on hold until we sorted out the parts mess.
After a while, they finally called me back and admitted that they had been wrong and promised to switch it to the correct part number. At this point, I had already had enough of dealing with them and requested that they cancel the order. They agreed, and I was promised that I would receive a confirmation of cancellation the next day. Four days went by, and nothing came in; instead, the wrong part arrived at my doorstep. It was a nightmare, and I was not happy with their service at all.
It's apparent that they have no knowledge about car parts and extremely frustrating to waste your time dealing with incompetent people. Furthermore, there was no confirmation for the requested refund, and I didn't receive a response to my numerous email follow-ups. It's a terrible experience and not worth the time or hassle.

Wow, I don't understand why HOTT Exhaust has so many negative reviews on Yelp. I recently placed an order on their website for a MagnaFlow exhaust with catalytic converter for my California Toyota Solara. The exhaust was no longer being produced, so I visited HOTT Exhaust's website to check fitment for my car. Luckily, I found the exact same exhaust with a different part number to comply with California emissions.
I left a message on their voicemail to inform them about the change in part number, and within minutes, John Grohovaz returned my call. He was knowledgeable about the change in part number and made the necessary adjustments to my order. Surprisingly, I received my exhaust just two days later at a price that was $100 less than what MagnaFlow's website quoted me.
It amazes me that some of the reviews on Yelp are unfair and undeserving. Perhaps, these unhappy customers didn't do their due diligence before or after placing an order with HOTT Exhaust. In my opinion, this company deserves more than just a five-star rating.

I recently bought an exhaust from HOTT Exhaust for my car and unfortunately, I had a horrible experience with their shipping and customer service. Firstly, I couldn't find any information on their website stating that a signature is required for delivery. So, when FedEx delivered the package to my house, I was not available to sign for it and they left a delivery note on my door. I couldn't receive the package on the next day because I was at work, and as a result, they couldn't deliver the package again on the weekend. They said they will attempt delivery on Monday when I will be at work again, which is crazy for me.
I contacted HOTT Exhaust for help, but they were unable to provide assistance. I also called FedEx, and they explained that they could only deliver the package to the physical address and I needed to be there from 8 am to 8 pm for the delivery. I was surprised to hear that HOTT Exhaust requested the customer's signature, which requires me to be available for the delivery all day.
I don't understand why HOTT Exhaust didn't mention this on their website. However, after watching a helpful video on YouTube, I learned how to clean the cat and was able to do so myself. I put the original cat back in my car and was pleased to see that it resolved the issue of the cat code and allowed my car to run properly.
While I cannot say for certain that HOTT Exhaust is not a reputable company, I would advise anyone considering purchasing from them to exercise caution. Hott Exhaust (hottexhaust.com) is a great company to deal with. They are very attentive and communicative. However, I had some reservations at first after the purchase that maybe I had been scammed. It's because I did not think I had received any notification of shipment after a couple of days. But it turns out that they had sent notice of shipment, and it was my Junk email folder's fault.
I expressed my concern to Hott Exhaust, and their cyber-rep immediately pointed me to the notification of shipment. The product arrived yesterday at my home, and I was excited to see it. Unbeknownst to me, it required an adult signature. FEDEX tried to deliver it when nobody was here to receive the item. Today, it was waiting for me on my front stoop. I have no idea if anyone signed for it, but I will have to ask my peeps.
I think it would be helpful if Hott Exhaust made it clear to the customer that an adult signature is required for FEDEX to deliver. Maybe it was communicated during the transaction, but I missed it. The notification of shipment email should remind the buyer of this stipulation.
Finally, I will say that while I purchased the product from a "Global" distributor in Delaware, the product shipped out of California, which I found surprising. Overall, I am happy with my purchase from Hott Exhaust. They are a reliable company that offers top-notch customer service.
Disappointing Delivery and Packaging: Hottexhaust.com Muffler Review
So, I received the exhaust system I ordred from hottexhaust.com today. The muffler was shipped really quickly, though it arrived with one minor delay by Fed Ex. Though Fed Ex had not communicated well about the shipping progress, I was pleasantly surprised that Hottexhaust had been keeping me apprised of the delivery status. However, when I saw the condition in which the muffler showed up, I couldn't believe my eyes. It was as if it had been dragged all the way from the factory to my front door. The oversized box was wide open and really in a poor condition. Each section of the box was torn, punctured and crushed. Though the muffler was reasonably covered, it wasn't packed inside the oversized box with much care, and it bounced around quite a bit.
It was clear that the exhaust system had come out of the box at least once, given the way the box was not sealed at all. All of the staples that were meant to secure the main flap had come out and there was nothing to hold the muffler in its place. There was hardly any external packing to stop any possible damage. While I started to inspect the muffler, it was hard to tell whether it was could still be operational. I'm not sure if it's the shipper's mistake but the fact that the box opening left with all staples out and few packings to prevent any damage has exposed it to any possibilities of injury.
My 22-year-old daughter walked up and questioned, "Did they jack up the Jeep with the box?" It was really that poorly handled. Lastly, the installation instructions are from 2018, for Jeep Wrangler JL. There might be fitment issues with older mufflers, and I had expected that I would get a newer muffler since I ordered it in March 2020. Although I am not 100% sure if they are using the same old docs and the muffler has a newer production date. Hopefully, this one will jive with my existing pipe, and the muffler will be free of all damage.
It's not it was my intention to write a poor review, but it couldn't be helped. My hope is that this will all get sorted, and the muffler ends up being damage-free and fitting like it should. I am going to call them in the morning to follow up on my concerns. I hope for the best!

HOTT Exhaust Review: Great Services, But Room for Improvement in Customer Service
I wanted to give my feedback on HOTT Exhaust and my recent experience with them. I needed a new right side catalytic converter and was a bit surprised to find out that I had to remove the old bolts. I was under the impression that new bolts would come with the converter. When I reached out to customer service, they seemed a bit busy at the time and unfortunately, I was told that someone would return my call but that never happened.
On the positive note, the services provided by HOTT Exhaust were really quick and on time. However, I must say that this was the fastest I ever got online at any time. I believe that people should say what they really mean and mean what they really say, without any false promises or lies. If you can't call me back, don't make promises that you can't keep.
All in all, I appreciate the quality of products that HOTT Exhaust offers, but customer service could be improved a bit. Still, they do offer great on-time services and that's something that I can appreciate. I just wish my concerns were taken a bit more seriously, and that's something that I hope HOTT Exhaust can work on.
