Went Huntley ford to look at a ford transit 250 we bought it first the salesman.tried to charge us about 4,000.00 for some kind of warranty that is covered by our insurance so we said no to remove that charge next he said that they would charge $ 10,000.00 or more over sticker price he made it sound like it a new practice in the industry and we traded in a 2017 transit 250 he asked what I thought the value would be I said about 25 to 27 thousand he came back I don't know where you get that price they came up with 18,000.00 we decided to buy the new van now we find out that Ford doesn't want dealership charge over suggested price and they are selling my trade in for 28,000.00 I understand they are in business for a profit not to be robbing people with a smile on their face hope they enjoy the extra money the charged us but this is the last time I will buy a Ford count even get a free oil change this is the second Ford dealership I had a problem with the first was Schaumburg Ford with the worst service department love to see the day Huntley Ford will close its doors and all the employees be on the unemployment line you need to be a real liar and scammer to be a salesman at Huntley Ford I will go back to chevy or Dodge for my next vehicle
Recommendation: DON"T SHOP AT HUNTLEY FORD
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service.Im okay with spending more to get *** dealership professionalism, and Huntley had the exact vehicle with the options I was looking for. However, *** should be embarrassed to allow Huntley the use of the *** oval. My salesperson (***) would only text message pre-purchase details, making it nearly impossible to get my own financing with purchase agreement screen shots he sent me.I agreed up front to pay Huntleys advertised price and took $4k less for my trade in than offered by my local *** dealer. During the final paperwork, *** added $2k more to the price claiming a $1,200 vehicle theft insurance, $600 undercoating, and $200 tire nitrogen was a Huntley special requirement. *** me, I should have run, but paid ($1,000). After the sale, multiple calls/texts to Adrians mobile for the status of my title transfer were unanswered.5 weeks later *** (the licensed dealer) sent me a $212 check with the signed *** title and Huntleys Tax Transaction statement. Presumably, I had to transfer my own title that I paid Huntley to do. The Huntley receptionist promised me *** would call be back to explain, but she never did.
truck and was assigned a rep. I would provide a name but he NEVER introduced himself (It may have been *** as I saw it on a piece of paper in the office). He made me feel as if I were inconveniencing him. Then, I test drove a truck. The sticker was $36k. I told the rep I didn't want to finance more than $30k but had a trade in and cash for a down payment. He leaves to run some numbers and comes back with an offer for $49k...on a $36k truck. All of the extra things attached to the price were outrageous. A CPO vehicle is a CPO vehicle. Not a "We're going to charge you $13k extra to make it a CPO vehicle". Then magically after about 2 hours and going from $49k, to $46k, to $41, gets down to $35k. At this point, I felt like I was being dicked around all while he made it it out to sound like he was helping me. My fianc jumped on the phone so we could talk it over and throughout her questioning, the rep was stumbling over answers she was asking. She told him that I need to bring the quote home to look/talk it over. This makes him angry and he storms out of the office while saying "This is f*cking r*tarded". Real professional! It then takes another *** minutes to get MY car keys back to me so I can leave. I felt as if I were being held hostage in the dealership. The "manager" then challenges as to why I'm walking out (did not get his name either) and is pompous in doing so. I have never been so uncomfortable making a vehicle purchase in my life. I would highly suggest anyone looking to purchase a *** go somewhere other than here. I heard other reps talking to their potential clients and they sounded like kind, respectable people. But the ones I had the displeasure of speaking with were absolutely not.
went there yesterday was told that they wouldnt appraise my car until I was ready to purchase, no veterans discount offered or law. enforcement wont negotiate over the phone insisted I bring my wife in for negotiation, were overbearing, rude and it was like they were doing me a favor to sell me a car and I should be beholding to them. Simply a out and out high pressure not give a darn about the customer attitude. After reading the other review on this site I see others have had the same problem, at first I thought it was just me but no they were rude, pompous demanding. I hate to see what it might have come to in a price negotiation.
I had a great experience at huntley ford. Every person I dealt with from the salesman ***, to the finance manager, to the gm were very accommodating to my needs and budget. I am sending my family and friends to them in the future
Tell them you work 3rd shift and to email only, they call and text with zero emails everyday for 2 weeks at the times a 3rd shift person is in a deep sleep. Call to complain and they laugh in the background at you at how you've been inconvenienced. Then turn it around on you because you swear at them AFTER they have woke you up daily for 2 weeks trying to get that commission. Both managers and all sales team members at this location should be fired, except the operator. Worthless uncompassionate people. Ridiculous!
This dealership needs it's license pulled
This dealership needs it's license pulled. They violate the Marketing laws by not putting full disclosure in their advertisement. The ONLY thing they are allowed to leave off is TTL and doc fees. It isn't until they present the paperwork for the price of the vehicle that you discover they add on Delivery and prep fees which is explicitly pointed out in *** that they must disclose it in the ad. They also use some made up marketing price and think they make you feel good because they are graciously so much below it. When you compare their advertised price to Carfax you find they are over $5,000 higher then average. They then get angry and throw hissy fits if you tell them you already have insurance for roadside and travel insurance and try to tell you that theirs is better, or tell you then you get marked as a claim if you use it, which you don't. The worst part is they require a credit card to make an offer? What kind of BS move is that? If you don't agree to their offer, they hold your keys and credit card hostage to try to force you into their demands. How they can take an advertised price, take your trade value, and then come up with a price $16,000 higher is beyond me, but stay away from this dealer.
STAY AWAY! Absolute scam of a dealer. $900 VIN etching, $3500 dealer prep, and transportation fees for a vehicle on the lot. Was told they wouldnt take a bank check, and the car could only be purchased through their financing. Was pre approved through Chase for well over the advertised price before even going. $48000 vehicle, offered $22000 on a trade with a $13000 pay off. The out the door price with $5000 down was $56000 before a warranty..and were mad I wouldnt let them run credit. Im in the industry on a corporate level and have never even heard of a dealer advertising and acting in the manner they did. Vehicle was not cleaned and still had the previous dealer sticker on the bumper. I asked for my keys back and expressed I wasnt interested in the vehicle any longer and was approached by their sales manager who appeared to not be able to count to 11 without taking his shoe off. Had to ask numerous times and they even offered to remove the fees. I wouldnt recommend this dealer or any of their vehicles to my worst enemy.
Worst experience with a used car salesman Ive ever had (and Ive had a lot). Checked out a used truck they had on their lot for over a year and asked him if they would work on the price. I was advised I had no idea what I was talking about and that the truck was priced correctly. After telling them if it were priced correctly it wouldnt have been on the lot for a year I walked out. Got numerous calls days later and will never buy a truck from them. Theres a reason why they have so much inventory. Incompetent employees top to bottom.
Horrible overall experience trading in and buying a used vehicle. The vehicle had transmission shutter and when I voiced my concern, it was disregarded. I returned a week later for a service appointment to get it checked further. They confirmed the shutter and recommended REPLACEMENT of the transmission. They were not upfront about the condition of the transmission as I wouldnt have agreed to purchase the vehicle if I knew the transmission needed replacement. Trying to get a phone call back is like pulling teeth. Seemingly, they waited until after 3 days to possibly avoid *** laws about returning vehicles. Huntley Ford as a whole, just treats you like a number and way to make money. They dont try to rectify issues and havent been an honest business in my experience. They dont care about the customer as long as they are making money from you or your car.
I called in to check car availability and scheduled a test drive over the phone. When i got there i was told car was still in transit and not available for test drive, week later called on another car and as 1st time was told over the phone the car was available and if i wanna schedule a test drive so i did, when i got there car was not there, the car was in transit again, i asked the sales manager why this is happening he said the ladies answering the phone don't always check with sales if the car is actually available so basically they just lie to get people in. The sales person *** told me he will call me and let me know when the car is 100% available. Monday 1/16/22 i got a call from *** letting me know car is there and available so i schedule a visit in 30min, i was there at around noon test drove the car and star working on the deal with ***, filed out the paperwork and financing application, they pulled my credit report and was waiting on the rest of the paperwork, its been about 1hr of wanting *** was walking around with others customers, i asked him what are we waiting for and if we can finish the deal and he was keep saying it will take another few minutes. About another hour later *** came to me and said they got the car sold to someone else. I was shocked and didn't know what to say, how can you sell the car when i was the 1st costumer and we've been working on the paperwork for over 2hr and they did a hard inquiry on my credit report. I don't know why was taking so long cause we did the paperwork and financing application over 2hr ago and i was just siting there and waiting, I wanted to pay cash for the car but they want me to finance cause they make money from financing and the price they posted online is only if i finance with them so i agree to finance a small portion. I was speechless after all this and didn't know how to react so just walked out.
Purchased an Aviator on January 31, 2022, with unexpected twists
Went to buy an Aviator on January 31, 2022. They were the only dealer with the car my wife wanted, featuring the desired mileage. Upon sealing the deal, they added extra fees to the sticker price. After some negotiation, we agreed on the original sticker price, and I bought the vehicle. A week later, they contacted me for additional paperwork, which revealed a salvage title. Attempts to reach them failed, so we drove to Huntley, Illinois, to return the car. They accepted the return but imposed a cash-only restocking fee. We paid, got a receipt, and thought the issue was resolved until the financing bank contacted us for payment. Huntley Ford had not refunded the bank, risking my credit score. To date, the bank hasn't received their funds, and I'm paying for a car I no longer possess. Huntley Ford is unresponsive. I would not recommend them.
I hope any potential customers take the time to read the reviews on this dealership. I also hope the Complaintsboard.com does something to protect customers from this dealership. Here is our brief experience, obviously we would never buy a vehicle from Huntley Ford and would recommend you find another option as well.We saw a *** Aviator online that met our price and selection criteria. We called and spoke with ***, online sales, and she confirmed the vehicle was on the lot. We shared with her our drive was about 4 1/2 hours and she confirmed the vehicle was there and would be ready for us. We even called again when we were about 45 minutes away and she again confirmed it was on the lot, cleaned, and ready for us. During the original call, we asked about personal check and cashier's check. She confirmed a personal check was approved. When we arrived, *** was no where to be found and we got stuck with another salesman, ***. Very rude. *** could not locate the Aviator and finally told us a sales manager was driving it and it would take over an hour to get it to the dealership. We said ok and wanted to proceed to paperwork. When we declined financing, we were told that was the only way to buy a vehicle from them. Bait & Switch on vehicles, Multiple Lies, Forcing customers to agree to high finance rates, rude and unprofessional service are just a few of the examples of how this dealership treats people. We did not buy from them! We called the next day, spoke with ***, and she started the scam again by saying the vehicle is on the lot. Horrible experience. Buy somewhere else. Complaintsboard.com, please do something to protect other customers.
Terrible dealership! Dont shop. *** and the sales team is an absolute joke! Test drove a car they needed to inspect the car because the car just got in on trade. I was in communication with the salesman *** for two days. I was told to be in at 2pm to buy the car. I showed up right at 2pm and they were showing the car. What a bunch of liars and cheats. Worst dealership experience I have had. Sales Manager laughing.
This dealer deceitfully and/or without your knowledge and without asking applies guarantees with total costs of $15k that you obviously don't want to buy and when you tell them that you want to cancel them because you never bought them they tell you that you can't but when you call to the guarantee company the company tells you that they can cancel them except for a guarantee that is for appearance and also be careful because everything you talk to them is worth nothing check carefully what you sign because with the signature that they cheated you out of is with the one they protect themselves from and that is how until now all their consumer abuses go unpunished.
The worst dealership! Scammers who sell cars with bad engines! The vehicle we purchased was tagged by Infiniti due to the previous owners negligence and was no longer covered by the factory warranty, which also meant our extended warranty was not valid either. We went to return the car before our 30 days were up and they made us wait 6 hours with someone pretending to be the *** who by the way tried to sell *** another Infiniti that was also tagged with a bad engine. We had to pay $1,500 for the dealership to unwind a deal that should have costed us nothing! NEVER PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM HUNTLEY FORD! They also over priced the vehicle and we would have had to pay DOUBLE the amount the vehicle was worth! BEFORE BUYING ANY VEHICLE ALWAYS CHECK WITH THE MANUFACTURER TO MAKE SURE THE VEHICLE IS STILL UNDER FACTORY WARRANTY! ALSO MAKE SURE TO GET AS MUCH INFORMATION ABOUT THE VEHICLE INCLUDING THE CARFAX,!
I purchased a vehicle from Huntley Ford, and have NOTHING good to say about the dealership
I purchased a vehicle from Huntley Ford, and have NOTHING good to say about the dealership. We made an appointment to see a vehicle. When we arrived, there was a "sold" sign in the window with a date almost two weeks prior. When we inquired, they said it was sold, but we could look at others. When there was nothing else we wanted to see, then suddenly the original vehicle was potentially available because the original buyer's financing wasn't going through. When we agreed to buy, then they came with extra fees that needed to be added on to the internet pricing advertised. Lots of games and false advertising. I was told I could see a copy of the service work performed while it was at the dealership to substantiate the vehicle transition fees. I have been contacting my salesperson and the finance manager (4 times!) to get that information and nobody is returning my calls or emails. When I did get ahold of my salesman on the phone, he was very rude and then appeared to hang up on me. I called back immediately and was told he was not available. Still waiting for a return call and the information requested. Key fob doesn't unlock the door, doors don't open from inside, needing to add coolant repeatedly. All this that wasn't disclosed and after they supposedly did service work to get it ready to sell. Not answering a customer's repeated calls and emails is not acceptable. Do not trust them.
I ended up with a car I like but the experience was terrible for the following reasons:1. An obvious defect was found on the vehicle while I was looking at it. I was told the mechanics would look at it. I asked multiple times about it, receiving reassurance each time. When I finished with financing and waited for an hour for the salesman to return, I thought they were making the discussed modifications to the vehicle. They were not. Nothing was adjusted or fixed. They said it might be an expensive fix and to call them if I needed help getting it taken care of. (They know i live 4 hrs from the dealership). They had a *** "expert" come out and tell me this after I signed the paperwork to purchase the vehicle, which was my fault. Should have waited to sign until it was fixed 2. I was told they would reset the automatic settings from the previous owner on the seat pre-sets and trunk door. Didn't happen.3. When I said I didn't want the warranty the salesman got noticeably angry that I wanted money off the purchase price instead. Unprofessional.4. The finance manager gave me the worst loan option first and wouldn't have told me about the better options had I not asked. It was significantly worse regarding monthly payment, down payment, length of loan, and percentage rate. They also disregarded the preapproval with the bank I wanted to use (my bank), which was frustrating.5. A tire went flat a few miles down the road and I had to fill it up with air. It held air fine after that.6. They left the tank half full. On a $30k car, they should at least fill the tank.7. One of the keys they gave me does not work.Overall I could tell they were *** me, even when the whole 3.5 hr appointment mostly consisted of us waiting on him to grab us from the lobby. He would rush past difficult questions and avoid giving full answers. I should have walked away, but I really wanted and needed the car. But no one else should give these scum bags any money.
Purchased a 2021 F150 Lariat and got to work with Sayf Altrarawneh and ***. These two worked hard for hours to get me the best deal possible. Will be back for another truck in 3 years
This was the worst dealership I have every worked with. The finance manager *** made promises, changed numbers adding additional charges, and refused to provide a copy of the contract until 4 days after. The vehicle I am now stuck with has issues they ignored and did not disclose. I have a loan for a longer term than I approved and the amount is $10k more than agreed upon. I came in preapproved by *** with a loan at 5%. *** said he could not honor that and if I used his bank at 6% they would include an extended warranty. We agreed but *** did not give us a copy of any of the paperwork. Said he would email a digital copy. Three days later, with no paperwork yet, I get an email from the loan bank showing the principal $10k more than agreed and for 72 months which we did not want. I contacted *** right away about the paperwork and he said he sent it to the wrong email address but it took another day to get him to send it to the correct address. This was the first time I was seeing the loan agreement, he used digital signatures on all the paperwork. He increased the selling price of the vehicle by $2k and charged us for the extended warranty, adding another $8k. In order to get the payment amount back to where we discussed he had to increase the loan term to 72 months. I fully expect he was hoping we wouldn't notice and just pay it. When I contacted him about the changes he immediately offered to credit back the $8k warranty but we would lose the coverage. Classic bait and switch. He got his kickback from the bank so canceling the warranty didn't affect him. He also said the loan was a bi-monthly loan, we need to pay every two weeks and it makes it a 60 month loan. He said this is an industry standard practice. He will say anything to get your money and get you to leave. It is unbelievable how corrupt and deceitful this place is. I wish there was more that could be done to shut them down and prevent this from happening to others.
Be prepared for excessive add-on fees when you walk in the door. The truck I was looking at was advertised for $66K. The salesman (***) brought back the sales sheet and the out the door price "ballooned" to over $83K. We negotiated to a lower price, and the process to get into finance took too long. I told the salesperson that my cousin and I had to get back on the road to ***, so we were leaving. He said they were almost ready, I said I didn't have time and we had to go. He followed me out of the dealership and said they were ready. I kept walking and he yelled out and called me a f***ing shole and something about all the time he spent with us, which was like maybe 30 minutes. The dealership and *** were a real class act! I would highly recommend you avoid this dealership.
wouldnt recommend the service was very unprofessional
wouldnt recommend the service was very unprofessional. Receptionists were rude over the phone, when we got there the car salesman tried to add almost *** in other fees onto the price of the car. They ran my credit and set up the loan without telling me what the payments would be or the Interest rate. They did not tell me who the lender was or when it needs to be paid and when I called back to get more info they never called me back. Shouldnt have gotten the car way to many red flags I feel like its going to come back and bite me later.Update: 2/17/22 This dealership has absolutely come back to bite after all I was told the day I was in the dealership that my plates would transfer and come to find out they did not and I received a *** in the mail to cover the additional cost. In the past month since I purchased the vehicle the car started making noise I called talked to *** and he told me to take it to GMC dealer to get looked and they would see what they can do to correct the issue. After finding out that the driver side sway bar is disconnected I called and he sarcastically stated well did u have then fix it. Why would I need to get the vehicle repaired already when you sold me an unsafe car! There explanation is they did a safety check and that used cars always will need to be fixed. They told me the car sat for 3 months before I purchased it do you really think they took the tire off and checked the sway bar before I bought it that day I doubt it! I would not recommend this place to anyone I should have followed my gut!

On Wednesday, March 30, 2022, I went to the dealership to purchase a 2019 F-150 Lariat
On Wednesday, March 30, 2022, I went to the dealership to purchase a 2019 F-150 Lariat. I was ready to purchase it at full advertised price. With tax, title, license and doc fees and the full asking price $44,944, OTD price should have been $48,970. Simple sale or so I thought.Salesperson *** brought back a sales quote of $57,000. How did we get to almost $8,000 more? The follow deceiving practices were attempted: *Nitro in tires $900..for nitro. Really?; *VRT $2,500-vehicle reconditioning. This needed to be part of the advertised cost of the vehicle, not a separate fee. No mention of this fee is on the website; *Warranties and Protection Plan $3,900ridiculous. Requests to remove were ignored; *Financing - told that the advertised price was only good with *** Credit financing. Website states On select NEW models. Prices bases on Flex Buy, a *** Credit Retail contract with a payment adjustment on the 37th month. This was a USED car; *My credit card was requested to take my offer to the *** Was told it was a form of deposit on the offer though nothing would be run on the card. Flat out refused this bogus request. Very questionable gimmick was being tried here.I did finally meet w/*** Told him I was willing to pay full advertised price plus tax, title, license and $324.24 documentation as advertised on website...OTD $49,000. He came back with his best price of $52,000. What am I missing? I was willing to pay full price. Completely deceiving dealership! I walked out!A wrongful or criminal deception was committed by the sales staff at Huntley Ford intending to gain results in financial matters. Their practices are predatory in nature specifically with sales negotiations with a senior woman. This business and their practices must be reviewed by the Complaintsboard.com. Received a call from the dealership about my vehicle delivery
Started 2/6/2022 Yesterday I received a call from the dealership at Huntley Ford that my Maverick was delivered and asked if I would like to go there to finalize my purchase. After waiting 5.5 months, I rearranged my day and did so. I expected to purchase the Maverick for the price on the order/sticker, including delivery, tax, vehicle registration, and a nominal document fee, minus a trade-in and a deposit I paid upon order, at a reasonable loan rate suitable for my excellent credit rating. The salesperson informed me of a documentation fee and the addition of two programs. One was a vehicle protection package including various services, and the second involved additional treatments and modifications to the vehicle. These added more to the cost. I declined these extras. The salesperson had to get authorization and returned with two 'Out the Door' price options from his supervisor. I chose the less expensive option. After a lengthy wait for my Maverick and a nearly 4-hour dealership visit, I was directed to the finance manager to arrange financing. The offered loan rate was higher than I anticipated, and I was discouraged from seeking alternatives due to potential credit score impacts. The experience of being sold unwanted services and the financing terms offered were unsatisfactory. Throughout this time, I was...
Huntley Ford Dishonesty and Poor Service on 06/28
Huntley Ford was dishonest and unhelpful to say the least when I visited on 06/28, intending to buy a used 2019 Raptor. I roamed the lot for 10 minutes unacknowledged until I sought assistance inside. A new employee, the salesperson who assisted me, was nice but couldn't save the dreadful experience. I selected a 'Certified' used Raptor, avoiding any vehicles with a history of returns. The test drive went well, and the $71k sticker price seemed reasonable. With my $25k trade-in and $6k down payment, I expected the final price to be around $44k after taxes and fees. However, they presented an 'out the door' price of $67,500, inflating it with unnecessary add-ons and pressuring me to finance the full amount. They effectively disregarded my trade-in. Upon leaving, a sales manager condescendingly suggested the truck was too much for me and tried to steer me towards other less desirable vehicles. Despite my readiness to purchase, they lost a sale. A company representative later called to inquire about my experience, but despite promises, no follow-up occurred. This was a disappointing introduction to the brand, and the dealership epitomized the worst stereotypes of used car sales, surprising for an affiliated lot.
They couldn't have made this worse
They couldn't have made this worse. They modeled every ugly stereotype of used car salesmen from the 70's and 80's that exists. Slippery. Slimy. Bait and switch. We saw a car we liked online. We have been driving that exact car as a rental due to a car accident. We liked the the Ford Fusion and this was the car. We called and set an appointment for 3:30 Saturday. Drove an hour from the City. At 3:24 they called. Yes, we are coming. At 3:35+- we arrived. Sat down with used car sales. First issue. Advertised price was $1,000 higher if we wanted the Certified Pre-owned certificate (it was advertised as Pre-owned and did not indicate that was more money). Strike 2. The car wasn't on the lot. It was 10 minutes away being detailed. Okay. How long? 10 minutes. At 4:04 I went to the front desk and spoke to Abe, the GM. Explained how he had a slam dunk here and he was blowing it. Pricing bait and switch, car unavailable. He said, "I will make you happy. The car will be here in 10 minutes. At 5:00 the porter showed up. Sales took us outside. Nope. The keys were for a truck. At 5:15 the car finally arrived. Back bumper was cracked and broken from being hit. Okay. Deal: Please fix the bumper. Provide CPO Certificate for no charge, as advertised and give us money off for the hassle. They presented us with an offer. With taxes, plates, registration and fees...$22,820. Abe said, "Give us $23,000.00 and we will fixed the bumper.". No. Salesman tried again. Abe comes back, "Pay us "$23,220.00 and we have a deal." No. Really, you are again, asking us to pay more.". Car had a CarFax report of a minor wreck on front. We walked. Abe confronted me. "You are walking out over $400.". Me:. "You areetting us walk out over $400.00.". He did. It was after 6pm. We were the only customers in the store. Here is all they had to do and we would have bought the car in the spot...CPO at no charge and fix the bumper and honor the internet price. Monday morning Gary called and his first offer was, "We will let you buy the car for the original price, give you the CPO at no charge, and split the cost of the bumper repair.". This was a worse offer than Saturday. After trying to work out something for 2.5 days they finally conceded to the CPO, $100.00 off and repair the bumper. By now, all trust was lost. We bought a car...the same make, model, level from ***. When we looked at the *** car we asked, "Touch up 3 very small nicks in paint. New brakes and pads, fix scratched wheel, fix latch on engine good.". IMMEDIATE response...""Of course. Happy to. Furthermore, we will pay for the rental until we get the stuff fixed.". We bought the car. Abe and Gary and Huntley Ford had a slam dunk and arrogance and a "this is a battle and we gotta win attitude" cost them a sell and created an angry customer.

Buying a car
Mon april 1 2023... First the dealer would not let me leave... Lots of pressure, brought over another sales big shot to strong arm me. But after hours of going back and forth.. The deal was set, I thought!... When I got to the signing all the numbers we talked about changed..In their favor. The dealer lied to me about the trade value, the finance guy never...
Read full review of Huntley FordWe purchased a *** 2019 F-150 on 7/12
We purchased a *** 2019 F-150 on 7/12. After agreeing upon a sale price for the truck, $41,941 we signed the mountain of paperwork that came with it and was given a flash drive that should have contained copies of the paperwork. This turned out to be blank and it took multiple calls and messages (2 weeks) to get this information emailed to us. The truck was in transit for 1 week and when it arrived it was dirty, smelled and we found out the *** hadn't been completed as promised. When we received the first loan payment, the realized the dealership had increased the vehicle price to $58,270.18 without our knowledge and had also added on $3988 mulitguard pkg and $2493 pro pack that we have never heard of. Multiple messages later, I was able to reach Sayfa in finance department who told me the error would be corrected and finally the additional packages we didn't want would be removed. That was over a week ago and now I am cant reach anyone or get a call back, just blowing me off.

I have reached out to this business 7 times over a period of 4 weeks (including this morning Monday April 18th), in regards to a 2018 *** F-150 Platinum they have for sale.I asked for some additional pictures and about how I could make a down payment to hold the vehicle, as I live *** miles away.I have only been contacted four times and each time by a different representative.I have received multiple different answers to my questions and been told on every occasion that I would get picture sent to me and be told how to go about putting a down payment. The last person I spoke to, told me he was the general manager. He told me I would get the photos to me and he would work up a corrected price, as if I was not willing to finance through them the price was higher than advertised. Not only is this a scam, but I still have not received any information from him.
I deceived at time of purchase and fraud was committed at time of sale. They broke law when comes to consumer protections and purposely without my knowledge added thousand that resulting in overcharge of more than 17k dollars.
The salesperson at Huntley ford said he would give me a hard cover and two years of oil change vouchers for free. He didn't give me anything after I bought the F150 truck. After I made the deal to buy the truck I did not receive any paper work of the sale of the truck until about a week and a half after the sale. I had to keep asking the sales person to send me my receipt for the truck. Also, there is a charge for a cover for over *** dollars on the *** when I finally did get the paperwork. I am getting the run around. He is telling me about a VTR charge and also some other charges that he refuses to make clear. I need some guidance on this matter. I'm being charged for a so call free cover.
Bought a 2017 GMC Denali from Huntley Ford with daughter, issues with charges
On March 3, 2022, I purchased a 2017 GMC Denali with my daughter from Huntley Ford. The agreed price was $49,800.00 total with taxes and fees. They offered a complimentary multiguard for 3 months, as they couldn't reduce the truck's price. We worked with a salesperson and received a USB flash drive for the paperwork. At home, we noticed we were charged $2793.45 for the multiguard. We bought an extended warranty for $4454.00 but plan to cancel it due to an existing factory warranty. Repeated attempts to contact the dealership for the multiguard issue have been unsuccessful, with no callbacks despite our refusal of the package and lack of clarity on the interest rate terms.

3/1/22 put a deposit down on a vehicle, 3/12/22 went to complete transaction after a few details on vehicle taken care of. This was a cash deal. Agreed cash deal on 3/1/22. Dealer inquired on my credit without my permission on 3/12/22. When completing sale paperwork, dealer put a paper in front of me and when I read it, it said it was for *** Credit- I very adamantly refused to sign it. Reminding him, this is a cash deal NO financing. The next day when I was checking my email, I had an email from Lifelock advising they inquired on my credit. I never gave them permission to inquire on my credit. Never signed any financing document or anything allowing them to run my credit. I did provide my social as I thought it was needed for the tax forms for the vehicle. They also were not applying the $1000.00 deposit until we pushed and provided the check # and advised we new they cashed the *** cleared the bank prior to us going in on 3/12/22. Very unethical.

We purchased a vehicle here on Black Friday and agreed upon a price
We purchased a vehicle here on Black Friday and agreed upon a price. We turned down the extended warranties and we have the signed paperwork proving the price we agreed and no extra warranties. We were told more paperwork about our loan would come in *** We never received the loan paperwork until the bank called us and asked for a payment. When we asked for the loan balance it was $12k more than our contract price. They falsified a different contract that we did not see/sign with our electronic signatures to state we purchased a $12k warranty. We got this falsified contract when we asked the bank to send us their paperwork showing that balance. The papers we signed and have copies of were hand signed and scanned to us. We then signed additional paperwork electronically but they didn't let us see the fine print. This was 1. violation of truth in lending act and 2. bait and switch. After looking up reviews on the dealership, we found SEVERAL others with similar issues. We want the loan and interest for this resolved ASAP and for them to stop doing this to other people.

On 12/31 I purchased a 2020 *** Aviator (VIN: ***) from Huntley Ford of Sales Order No ***. The total price due at delivery after trade-in, taxes, title, fees, etc per the sales order was $53,219. In order to get this price I was required by Huntley Ford to use their lenders, in this case *** NA (PO ***, ***). The amount Huntley Ford entered to *** NA for the loan (Loan Number ***) on this vehicle was $63,240.44, not the $53,219.00 as agreed upon per the sales order. I became aware of this mistake on 24 January 2022 and contacted Huntley Fords head of finance. Since the 24th I have gotten the run around and excuses about why this matter has not been fixed and my loan amount corrected.
I purchased a vehicle on 2/7/22. The vehicle had to be left due to some service issues to be resolved. I received the vehicle on 2/10/22. I purchased an additional program called In Touch. I've been calling daily since 2/10/22 and no one can tell me how to use the In Touch system. There were 2 calls placed today 2/17/22 where people hung up on me when I explained what I was calling for. I even went a step further to call *** for In Touch and they weren't able to assist since the account wasn't set up by the service provider. So here it is I paid additional for a product to add additional security that I can't even use nor get any assistance with. The level of customer service since I made the purchase has been horrible with no resolution at all.
I bought a Mustang Mach-E at Huntley Ford, Huntley IL on 6/30
I bought a Mustang Mach-E at Huntley Ford, Huntley IL on 6/30. Everything went well until signing the necessary paperwork to complete the transaction. The Business Manager told me he placed all the documents on a USB drive. I tried the USB drive at home, it was empty. Went back the next day 7/1, and asked for paper copies of the documents. There was not a bill of sale document included. I requested a copy but was told that the document office was closed and they would send me the bill of sale. Several weeks went by and many phone calls went unanswered. Finally, after three weeks the office emailed the bill of sale. It looked normal except, someone else signed the contract (not me) and $9,999.00 was added to the price. If I had seen the contract on 6/30, I would not have signed it as presented. I was unaware that $9,999.00 was added and they only gave a $20,000 trade-in value when CarMax offered me $25,000. I would have sold the car to CarMax for $5,000 more. I believe fraud was committed, involving wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial gain.

On December 20th I drove three hours to test drive a used F150 at Huntley Ford
On December 20th I drove three hours to test drive a used F150 at Huntley Ford. Upon arrival and handing over my drivers license, I was ready to test drive the F150. When I started the truck with my friend in the passenger seat we saw the fuel gauge had only a few miles left on it. We didn't think we would make it far for the test drive and told the salesman *** that. He instructed us to just put $10 in it and he would pay me back when we got back. When we got back we immediately started talking about the price of the truck, in which I found out the online price that was listed was not real, and they were trying to charge $10,000 more than it was originally listed for online. I got so preoccupied with this that I forgot about the $10 they owed me until I was halfway driving back to my house without purchasing their truck. The next day I called back and spoke to *** who told me he will talk to his manager about that. His supposed manager *** then picked up the phone and gave me his email to email him a picture of the receipt and he would mail me a check. Well after a few weeks the check never came in the mail. And now they refuse to talk to me. Each time I call they only tell me if I want to buy a truck then I need to come in. They don't allow me to speak to a manager or anything. I've never had a business treat me like this before.

I signed contract to purchase vehicle 5/2
I signed contract to purchase vehicle 5/2. Sales person mislead me on "Huntley package" and warranty, including the timeframe of the warranty, effectively selling me two warranties for over $7,000. I returned on 5/4 and had $3,000 removed from the "package". Person who rewrote the contract tried to change the term from 36 months to 24 months for the same cost of $4,516. I had to ask to have it fixed again. Huntley Ford also failed to provide the full terms of the service agreement as it is clearly missing section ten. I then called on 5/19 to have the warranty canceled per the terms of the warranty agreement. Person on the phone claimed that he mailed me the cancellation agreement which never showed. I drove to Huntley Ford on 5/28 to request the form, and a copy of the full service agreement. First manager I spoke to claimed he didn't handle those forms and sent me to another person to wrote a "check request" for $4,000 with "warranty cancellation" written on it, made out to Huntington Bank, who financed the loan. I told him I required the cancellation form and the full copy of the service agreement, to which he replied its easier for them to cancel it in this way, and refused my request. He claimed to have sent the check to Huntington and it takes two days. I have been on the phone today with Huntington who has not received any such check and with the warranty provider, who says Huntley Ford is not answering or returning their calls.

i purchased a 2020 **** Explorer ST on 12/16 for $46,946
i purchased a 2020 *** Explorer ST on 12/16 for $46,946. I said i didn't want the any additional options included with the vehicle because most of the options in the "Multi Guard Package" i already had through my insurance company. the salesman said he would then include the with the vehicle but did not say i would be charged. i then asked the finance person when signing the paperwork what options could be removed because i didnt not want any of the additional options. He said that he could only take off $900 for something but the interest rate would go up if i did so, so I left that on there. After now reviewing the paperwork i was charged $3988 for the Multiguard package and $5517.77 for the "pro pack". there is no explanation of what the pro pack is or what is included and I didn't not agree to that package. The finance person also said the monthly payments were $812 and after calculating the loan payment using the total price it came back significantly less than $812. After telling that to the finance person they said they had made a mistake and would correct it. That is a severe "mistake" to make on their part. I would like a refund for the Multiguard package as I did not want that option and assumed it was included at no charge when the salesman said he would include it since i did not pay for it. Also, if they cannot tell me what the $5517.77 is for i would like that refunded in full as well. I was told the vehicle had a 100k mile bumper to bumper extended warranty which i can find no paperwork on and do not see any info on in any of the paperwork i have provided.

I purchased a 2022 F350 from them approx a month or so ago
I purchased a 2022 F350 from them approx a month or so ago. Theres been a few things that have went on since the initial phone call when I inquired about the truck, but I would like to make others aware of the current situation. First they told me that someone else had the spares keys who ordered the truck originally. Why someone who didnt purchase the truck would have the spare keys is beyond me. Either way they sent me a spare set. Before I went to purchase the truck I called earlier that morning and they told me it was ready to go. When I got there it was most definitely not ready to go. But things happen I can look past that. My main complaint is this- They called after purchase and said that they forgot to install a winch that belongs on the truck. They said they would send a driver to pick the truck up and would potentially install a tonneau cover for the inconvenience of not having our truck for a few days and putting 500 miles on it to take it back to their dealership. Since that phone call Ive made several attempts to contact the dealership and have left messages on voicemails of the people I need to talk to per that gal that takes the calls. No return calls. No one will take my call, no resolution and we have been shorted things we were told we had coming and paid for. Ive called and explained the situation to a couple different people and they just connect me to someone elses voicemail. Im hoping this reaches someone and gets resolved since calling isnt getting me anywhere. I own an automobile resale business myself and this is not a way to conduct business or earn future business

Order and Customer Number for 2017 F350 Super Duty Truck Purchase on 11/26
Order and Customer Number for a 2017 F350 Super Duty Truck purchased on 11/26. The sales experience was satisfactory. However, issues arose with Sayf Altaraneh, the F&I Manager. The paperwork was manipulated to include a "MultiGuard Huntley Package" costing $3794.00 without our consent. We had declined all additional packages and warranties. We are seeking a full refund for this charge. Additionally, the dealership's practice of providing limited paperwork and a USB drive with financing documents is concerning. We were informed by Sayf that financing was secured through a bank at a certain rate for 64 months, with monthly payments of $1300.00, and that the documents would be mailed shortly. This is unusual as typically all financing documents are provided at the time of purchase. As of 12/14, the bank has indicated that the paperwork is incomplete. Despite multiple attempts to contact Sayf and the store manager, we have been met with unresponsiveness and rudeness. We now have the vehicle but lack official financing paperwork and communication from the dealership or bank, raising serious concerns about the transaction's legitimacy.

On 11/13, My spouse and I went to the Huntley Ford Dealership to inquire about a vehicle (order #***)
On 11/13, My spouse and I went to the Huntley Ford Dealership to inquire about a vehicle (order #***). We agreed upon a price and monthly terms of the loan. Upon completing the paperwork with finance, we were told we needed to purchase a vehicle protection plan at a cost of $3,998.00 dollars to secure a lower interest rate on our loan. Once the paperwork was complete, they provided us with a flash drive which was said to contain our purchase documents. Upon finishing the purchase and returning home we discovered very few documents on the flash drive. I emailed the dealership for copies of my purchase documents with no response. I returned to the dealership and spoke with the original salesperson who gave me the runaround about wanting my documents. The salesperson spoke to the general manager who offered me no assistance and questioned why I wanted or needed the documents. They eventually gave me some papers which also show a "pro pack" purchase with a cost of $2050.00 dollars. There is no paperwork or information for this listed fee. In addition, I received my monthly payment book recently from the credit union and the monthly payment amount is different than the agreed upon amount presented by the dealership. The dealership had me sign a paper showing the agreed monthly payment, but of course, it is not in my sales documents on the flash drive or ones received in person at the dealership. Clearly dishonest sales tactics and additional fees added for the vehicle which we did not ask for or want. Upon googling the business, and checking Complaintsboard.com, there are other complaints in which customers have noted added on fees and missing paperwork which is said to be contained on the provided flash drive. These added fees should be taken off our purchase loan amount or refunded to us.

12/20-Went to look at two **** F150 Lariats that Hunltey had available online
12/20-Went to look at two *** F150 Lariats that Hunltey had available online. They only had one of them there at the dealership, the other one was being detailed and couldn't have it there until maybe the next day. We live 3 hours away so that was not going to work. Test drove the one and decided that it wasn't going to work because it smelled of cigarette smoke. We were about to leave when the finance manager said he could guarantee to get rid of the cigarette smell. We decided okay let's talk numbers. Couldn't agree on trade-in price or truck price so again we were going to walk away. The finance manager came out again and worked with us. By this time it was almost 9 pm. After *** through the paperwork he gave us a flash drive. Thinking everything was good we left without the truck so they could detail it to get rid of the cigarette smell. The next day we looked at the paperwork and realized they charged us for the Multi-Guard Huntley Package which we specifically said we did not want. Tried calling. The run-around you have to do to actually talk to someone that knows anything is ridiculous. Didn't hear anything from the dealership until I called on the 23rd because I wanted my truck before the holidays. Got a call back from the sales guy that we worked with and told us that the truck was all done and would be delivered to us the next day. And that he would relay the message to the finance manager about the fee we were charged. The truck was delivered. Unfortunately, the truck still had a faint smell of smoke with a strong smell of cinnamon. The vents had greasy stuff all over them and some of the interior had stained drip marks on it. Still working on getting the cigarette smell and the stains out. Fast forward to 1/10/2022...Multiple calls and 3 emails later and we have not received a return call. Not happy that no one will call us back to discuss these issues with us.

I went to Huntley Ford with my father in law today(April 28, 2022), as he was co-signing my car loan
I went to Huntley Ford with my father in law today(April 28, 2022), as he was co-signing my car loan. We went in needing a payment for under $300 per month. The sales associate showed us a car for $10,800. Before any credit was pulled, he kept writing down numbers, told us we could get some type of blue warranty if we put X amount of dollars down & would go back and forth to his manager. I REPEATEDLY said we do not need a warranty because our insurance covers windshield repair and we have roadside assistance and that we have no money to put down. We were told there was a 139 point inspection on the vehicle already, so an additional 90 day bumper to bumper really doesn't mean much. I feel like we were COMPLETELY taken advantage of in this situation. I told him we wanted to stay under $300 a month. They pulled our credit and said we would see someone in financing soon. We went to finance office and were given a flash drive. We signed NO paperwork with any type of term, loan amount or anything. The finance guy never told us what we were signing and then to sign multiple times on a electronic keypad. I am blown away at this type of manipulation and deception. The vehicle was $10,800 and it shows we will be paying $22,500. We were never told a price for any type of warranty. If any numbers would have been presented to us even resembling this amount, we would have said no thank you immediately. I expect to pay for the price tag of car, sales *** fee and the 9% interest rate. The way we were moved around and given barely any information is a horrible way to treat customers. When I came home and put the flash drive in and saw these outrageous numbers, I felt very taken advantage of. I called immediately and the finance guy told me he only inputs the numbers that the salesman gives him and he doesn't know any more detail. I need someone to address this concern immediately, as this is unacceptable. Thank you for your time .

The date that this happened was February 7 to February 19
The date that this happened was February 7 to February 19. Huntley Ford had listed a 2015 *** 650i gran coupe for the price of 28,888$. This was advertised on this website as well as auto trader. I had called the dealership multiple times and had people that I was working with. I had worked with a woman named *** that I liked dealing with. I would specifically ask for her, and they diverted me multiple times to different people. *** herself also said she would send me pictures of vehicle and outsourced it to someone named ***. I had asked more than once what the documentation fees and any other fees were on the vehicle. Besides tax and plates and other necessary things, they said there was a 324.24$ doc feed issued by the state of ***. They had told me that was the only fee. They had also told me they went through a *** perfect condition. We show up to the dealer on the 19th of February for a scheduled test drive. Three and half hours from our house. We get in the car and immediately notice the tire pressure monitor system was broken, the passenger window would not roll up automatically like it should, the rear passenger window shade was completely broken, and the infotainment dial was broken as well and would not take us off the tire pressure monitor being broken warning screen. Then we got to the price. We said we would offer 26k$ as the car had problems that were not disclosed. The salesmen had the manager come out to deal with us and he presented us with an all in price of over 42k$! They tried to sell us a warranty of 5k which we declined. Tax and plates were also included. But they had over a 3k reconditioning fee that was never disclosed to me by anyone throughout the process. This seems shady and we are not even sure if it is legal. We did not make a deal, but would still go back and by the car all in for 29k. We were lied too and made to drive 3 hours. This is unacceptable.

Huntley Fords sales team employs deceptive tactics akin to old car lots
Huntley Fords sales team uses dishonest sales tactics like an old time car lot. I bought a Blue Advantage, Gold Certified 2018 F-150 from them on 10/14. After a test drive, I negotiated with a salesman who couldn't meet my price. The sales manager then stepped in. After 10 minutes, we agreed on $50,500 out the door, with a condition. I intended to put $25,000 down. The manager promised the truck at $50,500, including the Gold Certification & a Multiguard Protection Plan, only if I financed the full amount. He assured me the extended warranty, Multiguard plan, taxes, and fees were included. Despite my disinterest in the Multiguard plan, he insisted it was part of the deal. Post-agreement, I waited 40 minutes to meet the finance manager, who hurried me through the paperwork, distracting me with small talk. I received no paper receipts, only a flash drive with the documents. At home, I discovered they charged me $54,076.62, far above the $42,000 website price. The receipt showed a $49,870.02 cash price, including $3,284.02 in sales tax. I feel entitled to a refund of $3,576.62.

I purchased a vehicle from Huntley Ford on March 5th 2022
I purchased a vehicle from Huntley Ford on March 5th 2022. The amount agreed to on the *** of sale is not the amount that I'm being required to pay. I never received the finance paperwork from the dealer until I requested it 5 days later. They had me e-sign on a pad. They never showed me the loan paperwork that I was signing. I was told that I would get copies of all paperwork at the end of the transaction. That was not the case I was given a thumb drive when I was ready to leave. The financing paperwork was not included on the thumb drive. On March 10 I requested the paperwork that I was missing. It was emailed to me later that day. When I looked over the paperwork that was missing I noticed that the keypad esign was inserted into loan document. It is convenient for them that above my name it states I was given a copy prior to signing. That is completely untrue. I had to request the forms they were not given to me as the law and there contract states. Also amounts were inserted into the document that I was not aware of. I believe that this company is deceiving there customers. They would not allow me to pay for the vehicle in cash or use a bank check from my *** It was stated I had to finance the truck trough them. They would not except payment from another financial intuition or from me. In hindsight that should have been a red flag for me to walk away. They had the truck that I was looking. Back to the point there deceiving there customers by adding charges that weren't agreed to and not allowing customers to see the financing / installment paperwork prior to signing. They use a esign keypad so they can keep this secret until after the customer has left. Than they put a clause in the document that you don't get there is no 3 day cancellation period. Again everything is in there favor. Again I had to request the paperwork 5 days later before I saw any such document. They also added a service contract agreement that I never heard anything about.
