I placed online same day delivery on Wednesday for the latest time slot 7pm-9pm. I was patiently waiting UNTIL next day Thursday morning 10am in case they were too busy and couldn't make it, even though I didn't get any update it would be delayed. On Thursday I tried to call the store I had my order placed from, the call went straight to busy, did not even ring once. I called the customer service, they sent them an email. Today is Friday and I am still waiting for my order. I called the store again and left a voicemail to get back to me. Gave a call to customer service and had already enough so just asked for refund. They apparently have to get in touch with the store first before processing the refund but they also cannot get in touch with them. :) This happened to me 3 years ago as well and when I received my order (I think I received it 1 day late), some of the food was the same day expiry date, some of the food was melted. I placed the same day delivery and paid for it extra for a reason.
Desired outcome: money refund and any possible compensation
