This is a message for all of those who have been lied by Ideal Image. I am seriously considering to file a lawsuit against Ideal Image and I am reaching out to anybody who is interested in joining a class action lawsuit to write and describe their case or situation. I will print all of your emails and take them with me to the lawyer next week. PLEASE make sure you file a complaint as well with the Better Business Bureau and the General Attorney Office. It is very important to take these both actions especially with the General Attorney Office to make sure they receive as many complaints as possible to encourage a lawsuit. Let's do something about the lies, the rip off, the sales pitch, the burns, the regrowth of hair, the price changes...If we don't do anything then they will stil rip off other women (or men) who are so desperately in need to find a solution for their hair growth. Most definitely ideal image has lied to me from the start I lost over thousands dollars with this company. I was told that I could cancel and get a refund back and when I called the Raleigh office and told them that I was lied to from Monica they still would t refund my money it has been a long road trying to talk with different one there and getting nowhere. This company is a scam dont give them your money I purchased a package deal. I was told by Monica that I could call the office in Raleigh after I got off the phone with her to set up and appointment for the following week she even have me their number to call in Raleigh NC when I called them I wasnt able to get and appointment until the end of June and its april now the company didnt waste anytime taking the 2 thousands dollars out of my account. I was upset about that as well as being lied to.
I signed up for cool sculpting in January 2021 ($7000.) and was scheduled for March 20, 2021. In February I had an emergency appendectomy. (orthoscopic) I asked the surgeon about having the cool sculpting and she said to reschedule for April and it would be fine. I called Ideal Image (Plano, TX) and told them about the surgery and they rescheduled me for April 20, 2021. When I went to the 4/20/21 appointment I was taken to a small room and was told a medical person would be with me in a few minutes. After about 20 minutes a young women came in with an I-pad. A woman, on the I-Pad said she was a nurse practitioner and started asking questions. She said she had my application but just wanted to verify medical information. After a few questions I told her about the appendectomy and what my surgeon said. She immediately informed that their policy was a waiting period of six months after any surgery in the area of treatment. I said I dealt with a women named Basia in Ohio by facetime who took my payment and I wanted that payment refunded. She said I would have to talk with the people at the front of the facility I was at. I stepped out to the reception desk and told the two people at the desk about the I-Pod conversation and that I wanted my $7, 000.00 refunded. The two young women walked into a room across the hall and closed the door. After a few minutes they came out with a women named Kendra Walker who said she was the area manager. She said she had submitted my request and someone would call me within 72 hours. No-one has called.
I was told after I paid 1, 700 for laser I PL. I recieved one treatment i have lines in my arms that are permenant! I had to go to a real plastic surgeon in order to get what they did corrected! I teied 2 other times to get treatments to use the monies I hesitated to pay upfront but each time I went in, no one could see me over and over... after calling for 6 months I finally got a call to say of course we cannot refund you! I am so afraid to use them for botox or anything
I so want to jump on the class action law suit! Tell me how please. I am a senior citizen and disabled.. they robbed me! I have stripes on my arms. DO NO DO IPL LASER!
Just this week I filed a submission to my general attorney about Ideal Image. My request is to terminate my contract and get refund for what is own to me. (Minus the fee of service that was already done.) Main reason is the horrible scheduling. I have been without a retouch 15 weeks out and about 4 month out for retouch on my legs. This company is horrible with their stories on availability and where I can schedule. I would like to help in anyway. Will keep you updated about my file with the general attorney.
YES FIGHT ! I would charge them for even service's that were done ! For darn good reason's ! It's not your faught you cannot be seen ! I was told that I could change my services or reduce what I wanted when I had a vertical consultation. Just a week later I tried to call and speak with some one regarding reducing what I would have done. I never got a response back. I then decided I would just cancel everything. 3 months later I finally got a return call telling me there were no cancelations or refunds. I still have not had any services done. At this point I’m even afraid to after hearing the results that some have experienced. Still making payments as I don’t want to ruin my credit. Not sure what to do.
A total joke, a scratchy sales pitch. I had consultation through zoom call, given an estimate of total $2, 100 for cool sculpting. I asked about financing options but has not determined whether to take medical loan or pay cash for such a small amount, but I would like to know if I’m qualified for the loan or not, the rep quickly responded I don’t need to decide right away she can run my credit report and I can decide to pay in full or take the loan on my first appointment set for July 3rd. She ensnared me into signing the contract I thought it was loan application but not committed. Non refundable was never brought up in our conversation, a month later I got a call from Ally lending saying my payment is behind. I then called Ideal Image questioned them how I owed the money to Ally, I was only told that I agree to pay for it and it is non refundable, the appointment can’t not be cancelled. I then asked Ally how I owed them money since there is no service has been rendered the answer was the payment to secure a discount rate, what? I don’t know what I’m getting into, but this sort business practice pattern need to be stopped. They are making money out of people’s credit, they know most of people scare of their credit get ruined would pay for whatever they asked even if you don’t have procedure done. Does any one know if Ideal Images should provide me a loan disclosure agreement or a contract with lender? I got non of those. If law suit being brought up count me in please.
I'm here to help you ! As we will help each other Yes and Yes they cannot keep any of your money ! By law both companies were suppose t mail your copy to you ! Everyone that can't pay and want to borrow money for procedures DON'T DO IT ! They both are partnered together ( read between my lines ) It does not do any good to say or call the lender period ! Ya no what a person /people can be found by social media ! Go to the real BBB not Ideal image BBB and attorney general file a complaint . You my dear have a good case period ! Don't give up this is going to stop ! They cannot continue to do this .. We will not allow them too !
Hi I was talked into digitally initials some kind of statement stating that I was over 18, etc..
After two days they took out $1, 100.00. I've never stepped into a clinic, cancelled all my appts.
Multiple emails to docu sign, I am 63 only have android phone, I was ignored and treated very poorly because I never opened the docu sign because I know Ideal Image are rip off and did not want to sign...I was told I would need letter from medical to not have procedure to receive refund. My cardiologist wrote letter, my husband delivered thin person to clinic. I was approved for refund and forwarded via email to sign docusign...again I have not opened docusign because I think co is fraudulant...I was told their policy that they do not mail hard copy..I am writing to Dept of Consumer Protection my complaint...its been 4 months of pure agony dealing with Ideal Image..

Help! I am in the same situations. I wish I saw all this before I got trapped into a contract. I did not realize that it was non refundable before the procedure even started. I was told there was no down payment needed and I thought I was just getting approved for a loan and would pay monthly. Now I have 2600 dollars i have to pay when I haven't even received the treatment yet. I have bipolar disorder and major anxiety and the lady rushed me through the whole thing and in no way told me that I was signing away $2600. Why would she say theres no down payment needed then? I am so confused and sobbing right now.
I signed up for their services and attempted to cancel my membership a few days later. They never answered the phone, never called back or responded to voicemails. They have a no refund policy, but their contract also states that if no services are rendered within 30 days, they will provide a full refund for ANY REASON. Since I couldn’t get in touch with them, I did a chargeback with my bank. The bank gave me a temporary credit, but wound up reversing it due to Ideal Image sending them a copy of their no refund policy.
So I submitted a copy of their policy highlighting the part where they give a full refund within 30 days for whatever reason. My bank STILL denied my claim stating that Ideal Image was able to submit compelling evidence that prohibits them from giving me my money back. And now I have to wait 10-30 days to see exactly what they sent to my bank. I feel like they lied and said services were rendered or something, and now I’m out of $2000.
My bank told me I need to take it up with the bbb or small claims court. I’ve literally never been ripped off so bad.
I just signed my contract today and I’m just now see all these bad reviews :( my first appointment is tomorrow. So if I don’t go? I can get my money back?

No they won't refund your money, they will hit you with a no refund policy and even try to lower the treatments but will not give you the money

I wanna join the lawsuit with you. They gave corrupt business practices that make no sense. Complete rip off.
I have BBL treatments to my face. Also botox and fillerers and lips dine. None of it worked it was like none reactive the BBL TREATMENTS LEFT MY SKIN PITTED AND EVEN MORE UNEVEN. IM Stuck paying 4 grandad. Did get nearly the treatments amount of treatments they said and to top it no results beside swelling for a day and my skin more damaged then when I started.
Add me as well! I already filed a complaint with the BBB. Ideal Image suggested I “try” cool sculpting, then locked me into a contract by telling me I was signing the e-form to schedule the appointment . Turns out my doctor doesn’t think I even need it, so when I called to cancel the appointment, that’s when I found out about the contract. Now I’m paying for a service I’ve never even received nor will I be in the future! I never even originally wanted the cool sculpting, and thought I would be scheduling the appointment as a consult, not locking into receiving the service or a contract.
UPDATE: I just got a call from Ideal Image and they are refunding me after receiving my complaint from the BBB.

I would like to be a part of this as well, I had a high-pressure consultation with a woman name Brianna Smith( out of state rep) I did not know that she was not a medical professional. She pressured me into signing a contract with a lie she told me that I would not be charged until 30 days after my 9th treatment. I had asked her what if I don't need all 9 treatments what if I needed to stop after 6 or something like that? no answer, not only did she not answer the question she made it seem like I was asking an impossible question. I even told her about my condition with my armpits. I did not have a diagnosis or anything at the time, that would have prevented me from having laser hair removal but I did not want laser hair removal for my armpits. I even told her that I will make that a priority at another time. Brianna said that it would be more cost-effective if I went with laser hair removal for my face and for my armpits. And I told her again I was not concerned with my armpits. She drew up the cost for the laser hair removal for both armpits and face even though I did not want laser hair removal on my armpits. Being even pushier I told her that I did not want to do any line of credit because I've already done enough with my credit. She told me that it was not a line of credit and that I will be owing to the store. Well, here we are with an ally line of credit. That I did not want. Multiple times I have tried my best to exit out of the zoom chat in order for me to read the contract and she said. If you click on a link in an email that she sends they can follow your movements as you go through the contract. You can read it right here in front of me not allowing me to leave or to read the contract I felt very pressured by her and I do not appreciate this kind of business practice.
I went to the appointment anyway since I had made the appointment with Brianna( out of state rep) I went into my appointment and I asked the same question to the front desk woman and she even said the same thing 30 days after my last treatment. I asked her if she could give me another quote. She acted as though she didn't know how to draw up a new quote for the same treatment. I mean she was not even trying, no surprise there. I showed the nurse practitioner who did the laser hair removal my armpits I showed her and told her my concerns in my issues she and Brianna both assured me that's with laser hair removal my condition would be improved greatly. After the hair removal, I developed even greater issues with my armpits I am currently seeing a dermatologist and at this time she cannot determine what the issue is but she does not feel I should continue at this time with laser hair removal. Now they are trying to make me continue with the treatments and pay for all 9 when I cannot continue.
Literally the same exact things happened to me! I’m just so very sorry! I will be emailing you all my info too, I want in on this lawsuit. We will 100% be filing complaints asap. I’m currently in a battle with them for my $$!

I had a consultation through zoom. It went well till it came to document signing. It only let me sign one page at a time which I had to submit before I could look at the next page. I go to their location in Charlotte NC, they claim I have had 8 treatments but I haven't, I have all my appointments recorded. I only had 6 appointments. According to the contract it's 9 treatments every 6-8 weeks. I had waited over 3 months between appointments. I filed a complaint against them with BBB they denied my request for refund even though the results are not even close to being what they promised. Mathematically it's not possible for me to have had 8 appointments because twice I waited over 3 months for an appointment. They don't honor their contracts. They make you pay even if I'm not able to get the treatment you're paying for because of their schedule and no appointment availability. I paid $2, 385.00 with minimal results. Last time I went the nurse treated outside the area I get treated she left scars on my legs, not an area was was paying to get treated. I am very upset that I had paid so much for no results, rude customer service. I had to call 3 weeks straight every day some days I called 8 times and no one would answer the phone during business hours. The manager refused to talk to me. Now my contact expires on 10/9/21 and they are refusing to do treatments I have paid for in full!

I did not get any treatment for hair but I had a coolsculpting procedure done and was told that I would see results in 3-4 months but I ended up gaining more weight in the areas treated and when I went back wanting them to do it again they told me that "they typically recommend 2-3 treatments in one area to see results" which is NOT what I was told during the consult or any of my appointments. They would not comp an additional treatment and said I would need to purchase more. They are liars, and claim to be "very sorry you weren't happy with the service." This is the biggest scam I've seen in a while. Don’t waste your money!

I also had this happen to me with CoolSculpting. I had 3 cycles on my arms, and after almost a year they are BIGGER than they were before and I’m at a lower weight! They ripped me off for thousands!
Me too i would like to join you because i had consultation only and during then she was encouraging me paid some money to block that deal and i did. In the end of consultation did not like her deal and i said no but she never gave my money back. Not even responding to me now more then 3 months now. Their customer service reps saying no problem i should get my one back but no one processing my claims.
Contact your STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE, everybody! Just a reminder to file a consumer complaint against a location that requires licensed professionals. I cancelled my membership in August and it's OCTOBER and still nothing.
IDEAL IMAGE - REFUNDED COSTS OF MEMBERSHIP & BOTOX NOT USED - It OVER TWO MONTHS to get my money back, but it was literally A WEEK AFTER I put a complaint in to the Attorney General's office did they call me directly. I learned that if complaints are sent to the state Attorney General and Better Business Bureau, the legal person issues DocuSign for the refund in the same manner it was paid.
My suggestion - for those with tangible issues, such as being lied to (not like something where your body may or may not respond to something as discussed) - contact your state's Attorney General office!

I have actually contacted a lawyer about them. They lied to me about everything. I thought online consult was with a Doctor. It’s not! Once I found out she lied about everything I looked into who she was. Just a sales consultant. In NYS you must have a medical license to diagnose AND treat. She did both. Diagnosed my medical condition, broken capillaries, and took my money for a treatment plan of photofacials. She can’t do either.
This is why there are so many complaints about results. Sales consultants with no medical degree / or license taking money for treatment plans they have no experience giving.
I’ve spoken to a lawyer about a class action lawsuit.

Similar issues, no treatments received, no refund issued and getting constant run around when I call, and put on hold for hours. This has gone on for 4 months now, I just want a refund, but after reading these horror stories, its clear this company is a scam and that won't be happening. I purchased laser treatment by sections I still have one more section left. I pay off the loan and when I went to schedule my last section they said my contract expired. I’m like what contract I paid for a number of sections. I’m so upset because I was never aware of this. No one told me and everything was e sign on a ipad. They didn’t print out the

I am a healthcare professional and made the decision to refrain from treatments because they said they were going to extend contracts I had 9 treatments left they took my money and canceled my contract at the time of agreement! Now I have to pay more and there is NO improvement in the hair areas!

I have not received any services from ideal image, I signed up for this company but after careful consideration changed my mind. I spoke with them on several occasions and filed a dispute then received a call from one of their reps that said that I would still owe them money even if I didn't get anything done. There was no mention in the contract that I'd still be charged even if I didn't receive any services. No one even mentioned any of that until I requested the funds be sent back to me. If there is a class action suit I will be very interested in joining. The Sales Consultant lied to us about how painful Ultherapy could be. This despite us expressing our concerns based on information we gathered. The Sales Consultant only recommended Tylenol and that’s it. My wife went to the Chandler Arizona location and they started the treatment. After less than 5 minutes, my wife decided to have it stopped because of the intense pain. Using the Pain Scale, it is a 10. We called and requested a refund for the lies and deception. The Manager said they do not issue refunds. Yes we are joining this class action lawsuit. And yes - we are also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Arizona Attorney General. Since Ideal Image suggested for us to apply with Ally Financial to take out a no-interest loan, we also applied and was approved for financing. Now we are paying Ally the monthly installment for the $4, 000 we borrowed - all without getting anything from Ideal Image. I will also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
Hi there! I’m interested in joining in on the Lawsuit. How can I get in touch? I’ve actually submitted to BBB and just recently to the attorney general. I’m considering small claims court. I bought nine laser treatments from them and it’s been absolutely impossible to schedule them in time to be effective. They make their money by forcing people to sign these “contracts” and refusing to give refunds despite awful customer service and incompetence. I want to also say that I finally got in touch with someone named Craig at Ideal Image headquarters and he was hostile and threatening.

Ideal Image is a scam. They lied to me as well! They do and say whatever gets someone to cough up their credit card info or worse have them apply for a loan. I can’t believe that (1) Ideal Image is still operating as a business today and (2) Ally Lending (lending arm of Ally Bank) maintains a relationship with Ideal Image. How can I join this suit? Please let me know.

If anyone in charge with this class action suit would be so kind as to teach our to me at their earliest convenience I would be brought to tears of happiness. This company is just down right awtful and only is taking advantage by appealing to womens insecurities. Myself included how humiliating.

I am fed up with Ideal Image, they burned my skin and won’t issue a refund after my local clinic medically approved my case for a refund. I’m looking for other people that are ready to sue them. Their customer service is just horrendous!

I decided to stop paying ally lending because I can't even get services at the moment because no one told me I couldn't use their numbing cream while breastfeeding. I can't even lie, I cried. I took the areas I could without numbing cream but then they said it was a few months out for another treatment. I reached out to Ideal Image and heard NOTHING until I stopped paying ally. Funny huh? I was told by the lady who did my consultation/signing that my contract from 9 or 10 years ago is probably no longer valid because it's not on file. I told her they told me if my hair grew back they would still do treatments for free. Mind you I never completed all my sessions either. So I asked her if I could at least finish the treatments or be refund for the treatments I never did and she basically said that wouldn't be possible. I reached out to Ideal Image twice and didn't get a response and complained to some fb post to which they provided an email and nothing. I'm beyond frustrated with them

I did my laser in Miami , Fl Kendall location at that.
First i had my face burnt because they were doing the laser and a much higher temperature that they should so bad i couldn’t do my treatment until the burn marks had gone away & they had to send me bleaching ointment to put on my face which i did not even use in fear of what they were giving me. Second i did not even get to finish my treatment due to a “contract” where you have to finish treatment. in a certain slotted time however due to having not been able to go for 2 months and in 2 occasions how was i suppose to complete my treatment? then they offer life time guarantee but it isn’t only 4 touch ups how is that life time? i did my face and i find it crazy how they would just leave it that way! horrible service horrible experience and SOO painful to endure. i’ve heard multiples experienced where people don’t have to endure that much pain during procedures. They don’t do honest business and treat you as if you were just a number.
