I have requested copies of my daughter's driving history and keep getting an error. I have submitted at least 6 times. All information is correct.
When I order I was not told that she had to complete any classes through this site.
This frustrating and time consuming. Didn't hesitate to take out of my checking account!

I finished my 5 hours of pre-license course 4 days ago and they have not sent the information to the DMV and I write emails and they tell me different things and they do not finish solving the situation. I'm wasting time on this!
First, they tells me that there is an error, then another person tells me that if I received a certificate it is invalid, and now again they tell me that there is an error with my data, they give me a link to enter and check my data and that link does not take me to any. Then, on my own, I get my data and checked it and everything is fine. I don't know if it's an excuse because they haven't do anything. And the customer service is lousy, they don't even offer a phone number to contact them directly. I cant schedule my test road waiting for this people.

Had a Horrible experience with this course. I finished and headed to the Testing to take the final exam. When I got there, they said I need to call them because they didn't get a protocol for my exam. I Called I drive Safely and waited 2 hours for an answer. Guest what. They never answered me. I took the course and failed the voice recognition. I was in a quite room each and every time. I was forced to take it again a second time.
I have waited on hold for someone to pick up from the company for over 60 minutes.
I want full credit for the entire course which i sat through and took the time to read and answer the questions. That would resolve this issue!

Please, don't even think about using their service. It's not worth your time, money and any bit of attention at all. Their customer service is a complete trash, I am so tired of talking to the wall. They are absolutely clueless and give me useless advice. Moreover, before they pick up the phone you will have to wait for about 40-50 minutes. Do I have nothing else to do?

Ya I made that mistake and didn't review the questions on there practice CDL test's for 15.00 dollars I couldnt't get a refund. It was like flipping through the manual looking at pictures B.S.

After signing up for the defensive driving course and completing 7 out of 8, the automated voice recognition system didn't recognize my voice, and was told I had to start the entire course again. I sat down in front of a screen for about 4 1/2 hours for absolutely nothing. I'm going to enroll in a class rather than waste my time with this nonsense. I will be disputing any charges (if I am charged). Listen to US who have complained and PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST!

Registered for Texas defensive driving course. Paid $49.95 for 6 hour course plus overnight certificate delivery. Their registration policy requires a voice verification to be set up on your account. Registration goes smoothly and voice verification is set up. Taking the course, apparently between each module you have to go through voice verification. First module completed and first voice verification attempt results in failure and my account is locked. Keep in mind that the original environment for voice verification set up is recommended when voice verification is used. The environment I used is perfectly duplicated. I call into their customer support line [protected] to get my account unlocked due to the voice verification failure. Hold time is about 2 minutes, the rep is polite and unlocks my account. I login and I am forced to go through voice verification, again, to be able to proceed with the course. Yep, you guessed it, voice verification fails again! I call back in and complain. The rep sends me to a system specialist to look into the trouble without unlocking my account. No one answers at the specialist department and I am forced to leave a voice mail. I call back into their customer support line at [protected] just to be placed on hold for 45 minutes before getting a rep. At this point I am upset and demanded a refund which the polite rep states she will gladly process for me. The rep did promise me a refund confirmation email, which I have yet to receive.
“poor usability for driver's permit exam”
Teen driver course was okay.
Teen Permit Exam - very poor site. We paid for an exam that was not taken. When I called to try to fix it, they said I had to pay again. Turns out there was a page full of text, and supposedly, buried in that page was explanation that the next page started the exam and you had 1 hour to complete - THIS WAS NOT CLEAR AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE CLEARLY CALLED OUT.
Not paying again for the exam I already paid for but was not taken.
This time I'm taking my daughter to the DMV to avoid additional lack of clear explanations ... and to avoid again having to pay for a product that is not received due to poor website layout/usability

I was on chapter 7 and then something went wrong and it stopped recognizing my voice! I tried to fix it myself but wasn't able to do anything!
I immediately contacted iDriveSafely customer service and asked for help. Their rep provided some instructions but it did not change anything.
Then I asked for a refund but they refused! Are you kidding me? What did I paid for? I definitely did not pay for something I'm not able to use!
This app is the worst ever and their support is terrible! I will tell everyone I know not to use iDriveSafely!
horrible voice recognition system
I used this course and everything was fine, and when I almost completed the course their voice recognition system stopped recognizing my voice. It said that it was not my voice. Are you kidding me? How can I fail at my own voice? I wasted so much time on that junk! When it stopped recognizing my voice the course went back to the beginning! I was so angry and disappointed at the same time. Don't use this course, it's just a waste of time. Idrivesafely must fix the problem!I

Well, you actually have only 30 days to finish the course. And there will be no exceptions! If you for some reason did not finish the course in time, you have to pay for it again and start from beginning. This is completely ridiculous. The course is also way too long. It is like a torture! And this is actually the main reason why most of the people cannot finish it on time. Not to mention that they use a 3rd party vendor for their voice recognition. Any sound pretty much affects the test. If you fail the test twice you also have to pay and start all over again. This course is actually useless, don't spend your money on it.

no where in the enrolment or signup sheet it says that you're paying for temporary timed access of 60 days; therefore when I was ready to start studying and try to access the course and the practice tests; it asked for 9.95 to unlock the course. the support chat was unprofessional and did not help at all.

I applied for the defensive course on the website www.idrivesafely.com. I was really disappointed, ‘coz the rep promised to inform me when the group would be ready, but no one contacted me. I called them, but it turned out that the group was ready and the course already started. I asked if it was possible to join them, but the rep refused. Also he told me “no”, when I asked about the refund. So be careful if you use this website or leave comments if you have horrible experience with this seller.

I signed my 15 year old son up for the teen driving course to help with the written test so he can get his learners permit. After I paid, my receipt stated that the account would only be active for 60 days. No where that I could find did it state this on their web page. I even went back and double checked. If it's there, it's hidden. I would not have signed up for only 60 days, but it was already done, so I immediately began trying to access the account. After numerous attempts, I called and was told to use Chrome or Firefox instead of IE. Didn't work. Next call, I was told to update Flash Player. I tried only to learn that Flash Player is already built into Windows 8. So...this did not work. All this in spite of the fact that their own system check said everything was fine. Next call, after going through the whole problem with now a third person, I was informed that my state did not recognize their course. Mind you, I did not ask this, was just told and offered a refund. I did not sign up for state recognition, just for my son to get some extra experience, but since it wouldn't work anyway, I accepted the refund. I was not informed that there would be an $8 "refund fee". My fault for not checking reviews. There are plenty of "red flags" out there. I wasted 3 days and $8. After reading other reviews, I guess I was lucky that's all they got me for.

Took the defensive driving course and didnt receive my certificate overnight as promised and I paid the fee for this service. Please note the processing section closes at 3:00 and with a 6 hour course you are a victim. if you need it the next day. What business shuts down the main section at 3:00?

Purchased online Teen Drivers course with expedited certificate receipt and extra questions for Lerners's Permit class. Although I paid the full amount, I never received a receipt from the company, nor a password and link to take a class. However, it was withdrawn from my bank the very next day. There must be only a couple employees at this place because both times I called, the same person answers all the lines and the 'supervisor' is the help desk. WARNING--this is not right. they have no record of my payment or my son's registration for the class. They said it is UP TO ME to provide them proof that I paid, even though they agreed they 'had me in the system". Now I'm out the money and my son has to wait to study for his lerner's permit. Don't walk away form these guys )RUN! I seriously doubt I will evey have resolution on this one.

Don't go here - the pages have ridiculously long timers on them, so your student gets bored and unfocused waiting to be able to advance to the next page (average wait = 7 MINUTES, some as long as 12 minutes per page!). This would take a normal reader 1-2 minutes to read and digest.
I paid around $90 for my teen's driver's ed course, and she didn't finish in time. I asked for a week-long extension, and was charged $20 to extend the time 30 days. Pure extortion. Find a different site - I can't stress it enough.
I'm having the same experience, complete waste of precious time.
avoid like the plague
After I finished this course I paid extra to have the certificate mailed out the next day. I still had a month before my deadline was up but I wanted to have the certificate on hand.
Fast forward to 4 days before my due date and I have still have not received the certificate. I called the customer service department and ask when the certificate was mailed out. Simple question should have been a simple answer. The customer service rep stated the date I completed the certificate. I explained to the customer service rep that I know that date is not accurate and that I would like the date that it was printed out and dropped in the mailed. Again she stated the date I completed it. I told her that is incorrect, that was the date that I completed it and I finished the test at 11:30 pm and I know that there is not someone at the office that late anticipating the completion of my course so they can drop it right away in the mail. It was hard to reason with her because she was just so uncaring and indifferent. When I could no longer get a straight answer out of her I asked to be transferred to a supervisor.
The supervisor also had a very indifferent attitude about the situation. This made me wonder how someone like him could become a supervisor. His lack of proper communication skills made it hard to take him seriously which made me believe he was not actually a supervisor. I explained to him I only wanted the date that it was mailed out. Since I paid extra for it to be mailed out the next day, the date it was mailed would surely be documented. He told me there was no real way of knowing. I questioned why the date it was mailed is not documented since this is a document that is to be used in court. I also explained the first person who I spoke with told me it was mailed on a certain date. I asked who was lying. He then agreed with the previous Customer service rep, it was mailed on the date I completed the test. I gave him the same reason for the date being incorrect that I gave the previous girl and he explained that I need to give it 2-4 weeks to get my certificate.
At this point in time I am sure we can all agree that it had…
1. Been 2 almost 4 weeks
• When I explained this to the supervisor they said that it had to be business days so the weekends don’t count. (Where are these numbers coming from and why do they even think they make sense)
2. If they mailed the certificate the next day, I should of most certainly had it before the end of the month
• I live in Austin and it was being mailed from Houston. Good judgment says that I should have had that certificate in a week
This would have been a great time for the “supervisor” to be helpful. Try to make it easier on me (the paying customer) and try to find a solution. Instead I just went round and round with him till I asked to speak to another supervisor. I just didn’t feel like arguing over something so small and easy. He agreed to transfer me and put me on hold and never came back
I decided to give it a couple of days (even though at this point in time it was obvious it was not coming in the mail and it would be past my due date). I called back a couple of days later and the customer service rep was actually nice but not as helpful as he could have been, but at least he was open for suggestion. Here is our conversation.
• ME: Yes I still have not gotten my certificate and my due date is past
• CSR: Well it was mailed out on this date (date I took the test)
• Me: Listen I know you don’t know what date it was mailed, that’s fine I need to know what I need to do going forward
• CSR: Well it does take about 2-4 weeks to get
• ME: It has been 2-4 weeks I should have had it by now
• CSR: Well we don’t count the weekends. You should have it by next Wednesday
• ME: Okay let’s look at this reasonably. You’re in Houston and I am in Austin. Regardless if you mailed that certificate out the same date I took it, or even a week later I should have it by now
• CSR: You’re right you really should have had it by now.
• ME: Alright great, so you see where I am coming from right. (Finally starting to see hope, but I can tell I will still need to push this guy in the right direction). At this point in time I think we can both agree it’s not going to come in the mail. What am I supposed to do now?
• CSR is confused
• ME: Look sir, you said that I should have it by Wednesday; do you think it would be unreasonable to call back if I don’t have it by Wednesday to have another one dropped in the mail? You know what…. I will even wait till Friday. Do you think that you could write a note in the account that if I call back Friday you can have another certificate reissued?
• CSR: Yeah I bet I can do that ( The CSR sounds unsure and confused)
Amazingly the confused CSR was able to write the note and I was able to have it resent on that next Friday. B in customer service for this man, F in critical thinking.
So today I just got back from court asking the judge to dismiss my case. It was dismissed, but Idrivesately.com made this process so much harder than it should have been. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this website. There are better options out there to take a driver’s safety course.
this company is an absolute joke
This company is an absolute joke!
I can not stress that enough. I decided to take it for my own education and to enjoy the 10% savings on auto insurance. There are 8 Units, each taking about an hour to complete. Before starting the course, they do a voice authentication to establish a base point for your identity, for what I can only presume is to prevent other people from taking this course for you. So after FOUR HOURS of reading documents, watching videos, and taking tests, I have to complete a voice authentication and sure enough, "The voice does not match".
Wow. Awesome security there!
I start an online chat session to bring this problem to the company's attention. The person I get, "Claudia", does confirm that there are multiple failed attempts at my verification and offers the less than comforting advice that "Hey, if you fail again, you can redo the course at NO CHARGE". Well golly gee, let me count my lucky stars for that.
So I call the company and am greeted by a less than amicable person that continues to emphasize, "It's ok if you failed one. You got one more", completely missing the point that their system is botched and that it is hopeless. Then in an effort to get me off of the phone, she tells me that he can transfer me over to another department that will change the way I am verified. I agree, due to my overall lack of other options.
The guy that I get transferred to says that he can change my authentication process, but only if I agree to restart the course and lose my 4+ hours of work. No thank you for that. So I decide to continue and and hope that whatever outsourced job-holding Indian fellow that programmed this software didn't screw up too bad. But nope. Within another 30 minutes of doing the program I am met with another voice authentication test that I fail miserably. End of course. You do not pass go. You do not collect $200.

avoid this one at all costs
I attempted to register for a ticket dismissal course on this site, after processing my credit card, the site demanded that I call a number to give "voice recognition responses". I have never had to do the "Voice Recognition" in the past but because I had already provided payment information proceeded forward. The fiirst four responses, no problelm, the fifth response continued to state my response could not be verified and then instructed that I submit a notorized proof of identification and after that was received and the course completed, they then would send me my certificate. When I got to the notorized proof of my identitiy verification i decided against proceeding on. I called the 800 number on the website and was told if I wanted to cancel at this point there would be a refund fee of $8 I asked her "Why, I haven't even completed registration yet?" She said it was set out in their terms and conditions. I told her I would handle this with my card issuer and hung up. I immediately went to other sites who guarantee their product with FULL REFUNDS and no refund fee up to 72 hours. THIS SITE IS SCAM. DO NOT USE.
