The dishwasher from IFB does not clean the dishes! In the first place tt is cheating to sell such products in India which is no use for Indians. Secondly the service people dont care to come evn for a demonstration and then dont do anything abt the complaints the only thing they are interestd is to sell some more for exorbitant prices
i am k n sivanpillai.i am from kerala.i bought a ifb zephyr ex dish washer for 24000 rs one year ago.it is nw out of order 3 times.we are getting no service.we are planning to register a compaint in court for not getting adeqaute service during the warranty period.
I am having the same experince with IFB Dishwasher. I bought a IFB dish washer from Visakhapatnam. The very next day of installation, it is out of order. Last 15days I have been calling to attend the job. But no response. Within a few days, I will put this matter to Consumer forum against IFB SERVICE CENTRE, VISAKHAPATNAM.
Here, I am suggesting all my friends not buy any product from IFB.

I gifted myself for Xmas against my families wishes with a Neptune Dishwasher; as I am a working woman.
I have complained a no. of times re: poor after sales service of ifb.
I bought the machine on 21st DEC. 2005. I called the service agent on 4th Jan 2009 to service the machine as no water was coming in.
It is just 3 years completed since I bought the machine.
He opened the machine said not much of a problem & will be changing them. I said fine. He then asked me whether I had a warranty . I said No. He then said the bill would come to Rs. 8, 500/ .
Now the machine is left with all parts opened.
I was furious. I asked him why such a bill the moment I said No warranty & asked him to send me a proforma invoice on email; while I went on Ifb website to check the price of parts. Nothing there.
he immediately sent me a invoice 0f rs.6, 300/. (Rs. 2, 200 less)

1) Is this not cheating. Look at the differnce in figure quotation

2) how do you expect a customer to trust such after sales service franchisees.
3) Why were we not told about this before.
4) Why were we not told about AMC. Even your website speaks about AMC only recently.
5) How can a working person after paying Rs.26, 000/- shell out Rs. 6, 300/
I respected the Brand & Co. IFB. Kindly look into this matter urgently & get the dishwasher repaired at a proper price. I am not looking for a Freebie but neither am I wanting to carry this feeling that IFb is a cheat Thanking you

I had a similar experience buying IFB Zephyr dish washer. (which got non functional after few months- inspite of repetitive complains and helling there was no response)The service people here in Kochi are the busiest lot and they want only the machines to be sold and their salt and cleaning agents . The only tool I could find in their service center are a few screwdrivers and nothing else.
I bought a dishwasher 16 months ago. It has been giving me problems since 2 months ago. It took the technician 15 days to attend to the call and that too only after numerous calls to customer care and to the technician's manager. The so-called "Customer care" is pathetic to say the least. I would recommend that nobody buy IFB products. Maybe that will teach them to treat customers better.
its take more time to wash do not wash fully
I bought a IFB DISHWASHER in May 2008 and ever since it has been installed it has been giving some problem or the other and the technician who come to visit cannot fix the problem most of the times and most important to mention is that the technician comes only after i give aroung 50 calls to them for the complaint. i regret buying this ifb product who does not give any services at all and my money is a total waste.i recommend no person should buy their product as they give no services at all and all u face is a mental torture calling them every now and then to see the machine. i am a resident of faridabad and i hope the seniors runnung the company give a serious look to the matter and staisfy their customeres
