Wish I didn't buy
Purchased Speed Queen washer/dryer August 2023. By Sept the washer was making an extremely load noise during the spin cycle. Repair person came and said he had to order a part from Speed Queen. Two months later they came and same thing, had to order another part. It is now Jan 2024 and washer still not fixed. Called Speed Queen to ask for a replacement and they said they don't do that. They had given us a free 5 year warranty. I guess they know that their products break down so they have to give a warranty. Wish I could just go out and buy a different brand but we paid more to get a brand we thought was quality. Now the dryer seems to be getting louder.

We purchased on June 21, 2023 From Ricks Appliance in Fort Payne Alabama
We only purchased Speedqueen because we were told they are very reliable.
Thats not been this case.
The 1st washer stopped working on 7/20/23 ticket placed on 7/22/23 reply on 7/24/23
Acker Appliance repairman on 8/1/23 ordered a part returned to fix on 8/18/23. Washer #1 not repaired contacted Acker appliance and they would not come out and look at the repair they made not repaired? So, we had to place another ticket.
Washer # 2 stopped working on 8/8/23 ticket placed with no confirmation. Another ticket placed and we still have not received a date of service ticket.
This has been very frustrating and will not purchase a washer with a panel board again.
Desired outcome: Exchange washers for a washer with knobs vs panel board.I believe this is going to be an ongoing problem.

On July 5th I called Speed Queen to have my washer services as it was only 12.5 months old and it was no longer pumping water. It is still under the 5 year warranty. They said they said that a local tech would contact me within 24 hours to schedule an visit. On July 6th i was contacted and an appointment was set up for Monday the 10th of July. When the tech showed up they said a new water pump was needed but would have to be ordered and would take 5 days to get in. Well that was 3 weeks ago. the local tech is not responding to phone calls / emails and when I contact speed queen again they just say i need to wait for a response from my local tech. i have already spend 200+ in Fees at the local laundromat for what is a 20 dollar part.

Received washer July 11, 2023. Immediately began tripping the breaker.
Tried using washer July 12th with some luck but tripped breaker 2 more times
July 13th called customer service. Work order 1413825 created. Customer service said they sent out a ticket for a local repair company and that I would receive a call in 24 to 48 hours, not including the weekend. So, maybe a call 4 days after my request on a brand new washer that I spent triple the amount over other washers. Once I get a call how many days after that should I expect a repair visit? Customer service refused to get me to a management person on my second call made July 14th as they said they cannot speed up the process. I stated that there was also a large bang at some point during the wash process (of course when it wasn't tripping the breaker) and I also reported that soap suds were coming out of the drain pipe enough to reach the floor. Have any of you gone without a washer for a week plus especially with a large family and a first responder that has a lot of clothes to wash? If you did you might have a protocol for repairing brand new washers that do not work!
Refusing to get me to a manager? Shame on you. A USA company? I can't believe it.
Desired outcome: Come fix the brand new washer now!

Lakeview Appliance Service (Elk Grove, IL) ~ 10/17/2022 service call for both appliances. Parts had to be ordered ~ they never contacted us about a possible repair date. We finally called them 11/1 and were told they would call us back but NO we had to call them again!
This complaint is to inform your company (OF COURSE YOU COULD NOT CARE LESS!) that we would NEVER purchase Speed Queen again. My husband purchased these appliances thinking that Speed Queen manufactures a good, reliable product ~ he was so WRONG. Lakeview has been here numerous times to do repairs. Each time we have to wait for parts and go to the laundromat!
Speed Queen is an unreliable produce and Lakeview provides terrible service!

Good day. I am writing because we have a speed queen washer under warranty that broke. When my husband first called, I believe it was September 26th, whoever he spoke with sent him a picture with a part of the washer circled in red and we sent them a picture of ours and it was exactly what broke. I guess I'm wondering why, if you knew there was an issue, a recall or some type of notification to people who own this model was not sent out, as it obviously is a known issue on your part. So here we sit, waiting on a washer, having to go to the laundromat to do our laundry which is a royal pain, as well as constantly following up with you because our "agent" Chyenne is not being very customer service oriented. Please note that everyone I've spoken to has been very nice but that is not getting us our replacement washer any faster.
I followed up on 9/29/22 and spoke with Nicky who gave me the ticket number and also said the replacement had been approved. She also said our "agent", Chyenne will be in touch with us. Never happened.
I then called on 10/4 for a status and spoke with Alexis and said it would be about 2-3 weeks for the process. I was told the "agent" handling this was Chyenne and that she would be in touch, which never happened.
I then called on 10/7, was informed the wait time would be 14 minutes and if I pressed 1 I would get a call back when I was next in line, no one ever called me back. I called back around 1:30 wait time was 25 minutes, again pressed 1 to be called back, again, never happened. I called back around 3:40 and now the wait time is 48 minutes, so I was now back at home, so I put it on speakerphone and waited. After 39 minutes Tereasa answered, I was put on hold while she looked into this, she came back on and said the exchange had been approved, which I already knew, and that Chyenne would be calling or emailing me. Never heard from her. Now each time the agent I spoke with emailed Chyenne to update her and also specifically said we were waiting for her to contact us.
I then called Baron's located on Amherst Street in Nashua, NH on 10/10/22 and spoke with Tim, he put me on hold while he spoke with his manager and came back and told me the washer should be in around the 2nd week of November! We have 5 people in our house, one of which is a 3 month old baby, so you can imagine the amount of laundry we have, and it is getting very expensive, and taking time out of our normal routine to go to the laundromat, this has proven to be a major imposition.
This morning, 10/11/22, my husband called and spoke with Stacy, she emailed Chyenne again and said Chyenne would be calling or emailing, it is now 4:30 and still no call back or email.
Needless to say, we are very disappointed at juncture, especially at the thought of waiting another 4 weeks, spending the money to go to the laundromat, which is not cheap, taking the time out of our busy schedule, and I find this totally unacceptable. If you knew there was an issue with this model, then why were you not proactive and reach out to the customers alerting them of the issue.
We are basically at our wits end with this. I recently had my shoulder completely replaced so the laundry duty falls on my husband who only has Wednesday and Sunday off each week, so instead of doing our normal life tasks he spends his day at the laundromat. How can this be acceptable? We are spending extra money, gas and precious time to stay on top of the laundry and enough is enough.
Again, all of your representatives have been very professional and nice, while except for the mysterious Chyenne who does not seem to be doing her job and certainly is not proving to be a good customer service-oriented person representing your company. Also, your press 1 to get a call back when you are next in line is obviously not working. Being on hold for 39 minutes is something else I don't have time for but I have no choice.
I want to know what you are going to do to reimburse us for this unacceptable inconvenience, both time and money that we have spent, due to this whole ordeal, as well as what you are going to do to get us our washer before sometime in November. I don't think this is asking too much given the time and money we have spent trying to get our new washer. I also expect that the new washer will now be under a new warranty, not the old one.
I await your response and resolution to this matter in a timely manner.

I have ordered parts to repair a washer , placed the order on 14 July 2022.
I ordered the silicone sealer "200996P", as the parts manual states thatbunless this is used there is likely to be failure of the repair .
But was told there was no stock!I was told to use "Red Stag" it is used by all of the repairers "
Stag is a jointing compound to seal threaded pipes .Hardly a product to use on a washing machine !
Interesting I am having to do a DIY job , the ONLY repair man , Dave Perkins is about to go on leave .
After contacting a Mr Holmes of Washco , stating I was unable to source RED STAG , meaning the repair will likely be a failure , let alone the effort and expense .

On our brand new Speed Queen dryer purchased 7/8/2020, the dryer started running super hot and squealing. It began burning holes in several pieces of clothing. We called for service through Van Vreedes in Green Bay and they sent Howie Voight out of Appleton to service the dryer on or around early December. The service engineer told us this particular dryer in many cases has proven to be defective. We were told he would order the parts that day and we should have them within two weeks since Speed Queen was right here in our state of WI in Ripon.
After about 20 different communications with both Speed Queen directly and Van Vreedes and Howie Voight... since December, we are still waiting for a call on the parts, a refund, or at the very least a new dryer!
As you can imagine I am super angry. I have spent a lot of money both on replacing the clothes that were ruined as well as $$$$ spent at the laundromat. This was a brand new dryer. I will never purchase from Van Vreedes or purchase Speed Queen again. The customer service and willingness to resolve this issue has been horrendous.

Wow, our four year old dryer overheats and we are told SQ no longer makes the parts to fix the issue. Makes one wonder about the number of dryer fires caused by SP's negligence.

My D7 dryer ruined (singe/burn marks) several pieces of clothing/linens before it stopped drying completely. So, to begin with it would get super hot, then the heating element has possibly gone out. We aren't able to get a technician out diagnose the problem. We registered our washer and dryer when we purchased them in 2019. However, when I called regarding the issue, I was told the units were not registered. I had to forward the confirmation email to the warranty department so they can register it for me. Other than that, Speed Queen has no service technicians willing to travel to my zip code.
We are more than disappointed with this. We paid top dollar for these units and the 10 year warranty, only to have problems within the first month with the dryer. What good is a warranty if you can't get anyone out to diagnose/fix the issue? The salesman raved about the wonderful warranty and customer service. Again, so disappointed!

I have been helping with laundry since I was about 6 years old. In basement over a burner in boiling water, in a bathtub, using a wringer wash machine. several apartments, and our three homes. The latest being the Speed Queen. Liked the stainless steel tub. Unfortunately it has been a disaster as it doesn't spin the clothes out worth a darn. It has left water standing in the tub at the bottom, and I can sometimes wring water out of clothing. We have had repair people here several times and parts have been replaced. But problem still exists. I do not overload the machine ever. I've been told not to use liquid softner or sheets. I'm sure they must have been kidding. It's nice to know it's energy efficient. The problem is we often put it through another spin cycle and need to then dry the clothes through 2 or 3 dryer cycles. Not so energy conservative. It was purchased in 2018 and I've given up that it is ever going to work properly. I would like to get money back for this horrible machine.

She started to curse, and complain about me asking for help and then after ignoring her rude comments, she continued to talk trash to me for 15 mins until I decided to walk out and go to my car and wait on my clothes instead of waiting inside.

Horrible Washing Machine
Purchased a washing machine in September 2020. Upon the first use, the machine made this horrible annoying knocking noise. It is now February 2021 and after multiple service calls, we still have this machine with it's horrible annoying knocking noise! A local technician was just here yet again today, and was even on the phone with Speed Queen for over an hour trying to get help to repair it, and still nothing. No one seems to no what is causing the noise, or how to fix it. Wouldn't it make sense to replace the machine? Perhaps it's defective? Or am I just suppose to take multiple more days off work to accomodate technicians until they get it fixed?

Commercial coin operated dryer purchased in many and june 2010
I purchased 6 Speed Queen appliances (3 washing machines, 3 dryers) in May and June of 2019 from ABT Electronics, 1200 Milwaukee, Glenview IL. My complaint is with Speed Queen, not with ABT. 4 of the appliances were delivered to 412 Pleasant Street in Beloit, WI and the remaining 2 appliances were delivered to 5056 W. Winnemac in Chicago IL. The appliances in WI serviced 6 apartments and the appliances in IL serviced 3 apartments.
In just a little over a year 2 of the 3 dryers lost their power knobs. The parts that fell off were under warranty, but the labor to reinstall replacements was not. I am very disappointed with the fact that 2 out of the 3 dryers needed to be repaired in such a short period of time.
I called the Customer Relations number listed for Speed Queen (Alliance) and was twice disconnected. I subsequently called Alliance directly and when I spoke to a gentleman in the department for "Dryer Maintenance" he told me that he had never received my complaint before, and my tenants must have been extremely hard on the new appliances. The appliances I provided were for two separate, smaller unit properties in two different states. My tenants were not the problem with the dryers, the problem was with the appliances.
I am extremely disappointed not only with the fact that I had to repair the appliances so quickly, but with the attitude and reaction of the gentleman to whom I reported my issue. His attitude in short was...the problem can't be here, it must be you.
I won't be recommending Speed Queen in the future to any of my friends, or colleagues.

TR 7 Washer
I bought my Speed Queen washer and dryer via Amazon in April 2019.
In December 2019 the washer leaked a load of water at the back. After phoning customer service, Lake View Appliance Services (770-8889555) send out a technician on Dec. 11, 2019.
The technician could not find something wrong and gave the machine a mini service. He advised me not to use the "auto fill" function but to manually select an option.
In January 2020 the washer leaked water again at the back even after I manually selected the water fill load.
Lake View Appliance Services send out the technician on Jan. 8th 2020. The technician advised a new electronic board.
On February 5th, 2020 the technician replaced the electronic board of the machine, advising to continue to select the water fill manually.
Today, February 18th, the washer leaked again. I manually selected the "large" load fill.
It makes no sense for the technician to come out every time and not be able to fix the problem. My proposed solutions are to replace my washer with a new one or to refund me. It will greatly be appreciated if we can sort this out. I would not like water damage.

2018 wash machine
I bought a new 2018 TR wash machine for 950.00 and the machine will not
get our clothes clean. I contacted the distributor I bought it from and they
contacted Speed Queen and told him this is the way the new one works
all I wanted was an upgrade or a washer that would work. for $ 950.00 for
a washer that is not to much to ask. Both Speed Queen and seller say nothing
can be done I have had it for 6 weeks. What a waste of hard earned money I
have a small business for over 30 years I will never do this kind of service to
my customers, what happened to our USA it is built in Wisconsin that's why
I purchased it so much for customer service. Please research this model before
you waste your money it will not clean your clothes.

I purchased Speed Queen front load washer and the companion driver with electronic panels in November 2015. I have had some performance concerns with both the washer and dryer that have not been adequately addressed but what is most disturbing is that the door on the washer fell off its plastic hinge and it's not covered under warranty. I had to pay $250 to replace the plastic hinge. For a company that claims that their products are built to last "25 years" and charges more than double their competitors is a huge shame. We used to have a front loading machine and drier for 11 years with only one repair.

Tumble dryer repairs paid for but never fixed
So I contacted Percy on [protected] to fix my tumble-drier. The first time he came around 26 August 2016, he didn't have the right parts to fix the problem.
Eventually, he came back on the 9th Sep. Once he was done, he told me I had to wait for the glue to dry so to only test the machine the next day. I should have only paid him after I'd tested it but he was insistent that I needed to pay as soon as he was finished. I paid him R1800! The next day the machine had EXACTLY the same problem where the drum wasn't turning.
I have phoned him or smsed him almost every week since then (we're now on the 30th December) and he keeps giving a million excuses/doesn't answer my calls/gets Johan to answer my calls/says he'll come around and then doesn't turn up.
