IndiGo Airlines service

Travelled from kolkata international airport to suvarnabhumi airport, Bangkok via indigo airline 6E 77, seat no. 20B, on 8-12-17, 8:45pm departure. But we didn't receive our trolley bag (blue American Tourister, polycarbonate material, 14.3kg with golden lock) in Bangkok airport. We checked in around 5-6 pm Due to this incident access to the necessary valuables is cut off which has let to great difficulty for us, while we are in Bangkok. Henceforth please initiate the baggage recovery process and update us over email ([protected]@gmail.com) or phone: +[protected], +[protected] (this number will be available for contact only after 13/12/17)

IndiGo Airlines luggage damaged but not compensated

On Wednesday, February 8, 2017, my wife and I flew from Coimbatore to Delhi by Indigo Flight 6E 985 to catch our flight to Chicago, USA. We were happy that the flight departed on time from Coimbatore and also arrived at Delhi on time. Upon picking our baggage, a large suitcase, however, we found it was damaged with a large hole on the side. We went to the customer service office at the terminal and reported the damage, and asked for a form to complain about it. The person at the office said that he could not do anything. When told about our trip back home to Chicago with a gaping hole in our suitcase and losing the contents in the long flight, the man wrapped the suitcase with several rounds of tape, and then offered a form in which I filled with my comments about the damaged suitcase. As repeat travelers from the USA on Indigo every time we visit India, we were surprised at the lack of customer service at the Delhi airport.

It has now been over several months since we took our Indigo flight to Delhi, but we have not heard any positive response back from Indigo. Although I attached pictures of the damaged suitcase with our boarding passes, the only response I received, to our dismay, stated erroneously that the damaged 'handle was due to wear and tear'. The picture I sent clearly indicates the damage was done to the suitcase body. Therefore, I request that Indigo compensate for our ruined baggage.

IndiGo Airlines missed flight during connectivity

Hi, I missed my flight during connectivity with different airline. I got my flight from vadodra to Delhi at 9.55am, 29/8/14 and it supposed to land 11.20 am. but it come to Delhi at 2.10 pm as a aircraft technical issues... After all my next flight would be 12.45pm, boarding close at 1 hour earlier.. If I reach on time, I would be able to take this flight. However, I missed my flight, when I went to customer service, they told me connectivity time of flight is 1hour 30min as they are able to give me ticket. But when I asked to other airline they told me it's one hour and it's comman rule here... So. Indigo customer service provide my wrong information and don't want to take any action for my travel which I missed due to airlines fault.

IndiGo Airlines hand baggage complaint

My daughter travelled Delhi-Chennai as per details below:
Flight no. : 6E-281, INDIGO AIRLINES
Sector : Delhi-Chennai
Date of travel : 13.07.2014
PNR No. : A4CSXC
E-Ticket no. : A4CSXC
She was carrying one no. hand baggage weighing 6 kg plus one laptop bag. The total weight including laptop was 11 kg. As per ticket, one hand baggage of 7 kg plus Laptop is allowed in the cabin.
The staff at Delhi airport asked her that total of 7kg is allowed including Laptop and so asked her to pay Rs.1000/- for additional 4kg. The staff has harassed my daughter for a long time and argument went on. Finally she was allowed to board without paying. The behaviour of the staff was rude and not at all hostile. Even my calling to customer care at no. [protected] was of no use.
On writing to Indigo customer care, DGCA rule has been quoted and not ready to accept the ticket instructions.
I would like to Indigo compensate for the harassment to my daughter.
I also advise others to be careful while travelling with Indigo airlines.

IndiGo Airlines irresponsible behaviour and ill treatment by indigo airlines senior official

This is a written complaint against the way Indigo has miserably failed
to sort out a simple issue and in turn tried to make advice on bad and
dominating note.I put forward a request cited in the appended
mail with a hope to sort out a simple issue of changing the name of a
traveller as mistakenly booked in a ticket by me.I have
acknowledged and acceded my mistake that I have committed and request
Indigo to change the name of traveller. However, to my sheer surprise,
instead of talking soberly to a customer and taking care of the issue (I
am also pretty senior in my field working with a world leader MNC), I
was told by one of the senior officials of Interglobe with a dominating and lack of courtesious
voice, why I have written the mail, the way it is written is totally
bad, what to write and what not to write, how to write. He did not
understand the way I was bluntly treated by makemytrip
taking the name of Indigo caused me to write such a strong mail with a
hope to change things however in vain. This is hurting, embarrassing
and humiliating. The customers at least expect better treatment from
service providers, definitely not like this. The solution of the
problem is not important, the way the problem and the situation has
been handled is a cause of concern. If we, the intellectual customers are managed like this way, god knows what is happening with the common persons. If the senior member of the management of an organization behaves like in such an audacious and arrogant way, the company behaviour and culture surely fall in place in similar fashion. Every representative of a company has certain onus on his shoulder notwithstanding the senior professional.I
solicit a strong action condemning this so that such treatment is not
replicated any further. Even though the issue is not sorted out, there must be proper way out in place on your behalf.

IndiGo Airlines cabin luggage stolen / missing from aircraft

Hi,

I Parama Dutta was traveling by Indigo Airlines on 6th May 2013, Flight 6E-135, Pune-Amhedabad-Kolkata, seat 7D. I was carrying two cabin luggage one a laptop bag another a VIP backpack blue and black in color. I checked these two as cabin baggage and boarded the flight at Pune. After the flight took aboard I took out my Jacket, lunch box, and bottle of water from the backpack. Thereafter flight landed at Ahmedabad where a set of passenger landed and some new passengers boarded the flight. After this when the plane landed at Kolkata airport and the flight stopped I sitting at the aisle seat quickly got up and opened the over head cabin to take out my backpack and could not find it. From the two luggage i was carrying i got the laptop bag but not the VIP backpack which contained all my valuables starting from my wallet containing my debit, credit card, PAN card, Driving License, RS2000, clothes, education certificates, sunglasses, laptop charger etc. I immediately informed the air hostess in the flight she asked me to wait. After all the passenger took their luggage and got off the plane. In the same cabin space another black backpack was left behind I told the air hostess that this is not my bag and some one else has taken my bag from the aircraft. The aircraft authority took that bag and consoled me that they will look into what has happened.

At first I felt that someone by mistakenly taken my bag and got off in Amhedabad and left his/her bag. So to identify the person we searched the leftover bag for any reference for the passenger. The bag was stuffed with small pillows and some dirty clothes of a female but no other identification except a security tag of Pune airport. Hence the person could not be traced. The Indigo authorities asked me to wait for some time so that if it was bag swap then the other person would contact the airline. But even after 2 days no body contact Indigo airline for retuning my bag and no one called to claim that leftover bag. I asked the Indigo authorities to check with the passengers who boarded from Pune airport and got off at Ahmedabad, but Indigo was not very helpful and denied any claim for the cabin luggage. I requested them and explained them that this is a case of serious and planned theft from the aircraft and can not be ignored. The thief had planted a dummy backpack filled with non valuable items and had taken another persons bag. I requested that this can only be traced if we can see the CCTV footage at airport after the passenger landed in Amedabad. But Indigo airlines are not being co-operative. I request this body to facilitate a resolution by viewing the CCTV footage at Ahmedabad airport of the passenger departing from indigo airlines.

This is a case of serious theft and can not be treated lightly.

IndiGo Airlines extra charging for duty free baggage

To,
The General manager
Dubai airports authority
Dubai
sir,
The indigo airlines an indian based airline is charging extra from the passengers for the duty free goods even for 1/2 kg after the check in procedures. normally an airline is not charging any passenger for the weight of duty free items because the passengers are using the duty free after the baggage check in formalities.
The hand baggage allowance specified in the indigo website is exclusive of duty free items and the passengers are facing too much trouble as they cannot purchase any items from dubai duty free.
In short the permission granted by dubai government for indigo to provide the service is indirectly affecting the buisiness of dubai duty free and its commodities. The indigo airlines is prompting the passengers to use the indian duty free shops indirectly creating a loss for Dubai government itself.
Hope the authorities will seriously look into this matter and take immediate action against the indigo airline services and provide good services for indian passengers and to protect Dubai duty free buisiness as soon as possible. Thank you

IndiGo Airlines very bad customer services

I had an awful time travelling with Indigo last Saturday (Feb 2nd). I had 3 tickets from Chennai to Delhi on the 5.20 PM flight and because of some communication gap the taxi driver dropped me off at the farthest end of the Airport. I reached at the counter at 4.35 and requested the head coordinator to let me board. I informed them about being dropped at wrong point, But they did not allow me to board. I was told that seats are available on the 7.50 flight and if I am willing I have to pay the applicable charges and new tickets will be issued. However, I was shocked to learn that the penalty was the actual ticket rate for that day minus base fare. I was prepared to pay any penalties, but the full fare for next flight was unfair. I’m a reasonable person, but this is outrageous on part of Indigo, I was arm twisted in paying the higher fare, since they were in position of advantage. In fact the 7.50 flight had many vacant seats, its sheer greed for an airline, with national repute.

I had booked tickets from srinagar to delhi for my parents ... PNR number WYD7HD ... the booking was done on 14 Aug 2014 through a travel agency ... Mohit Airways (mohitairways@gmail.com) ... the date of flight was 12 Oct 14 by 6E551 ... owing to the floods in srinagar in Sep 2014 and the losses in the aftermath, my parents decided to stay back with me to help recover ... although indigo had extended free cancellation upto 30 Sep 14, I could not avail of the same due to massive disruption in internet services ... more so also that the concerned travel agency was closed and is still closed as on date, i.e., 10 Nov 14 ... I, therefore, cancelled the bookings at Indigo Office at Srinagar airport on 05 Oct 14 ... as per fare rules Rs 3000/- were deducted ... I request that owing to extraordinary circumstances prevalent in Srinagar, the amount of Rs 3000/- be refunded back to me ... my email id is ... sampanam@gmail.com ... even if it is refunded to the travel agency, I will claim it from them as and when they open up their office ... I shall be ever grateful ...

Thanks in anticipation,

IndiGo Airlines wrong item sent

I ordered (and paid for) a used book from Chapters.Indigo.ca. They sent me the wrong book. And it was a laughably bad book. I sent a complaint and was told that they would get back to me in 24 hours. Well, it's been days and I have not heard from them.

I ordered 2 CDs from Chapters/Indgo online. The forst CD came fast, within a week or so and the second CD hasn't arrived, yet, they "say" that apparently it was "shipped in full" not to mention that they are very unclear as to their shipping time-frames. First, they say 1-2 weeks then they say 3-5 weeks not to mention that due to an items international orgin, they are apparently unable to provide consumers any tracking number on their used/rare items yet EBay has NO problem providing all of the necessary information. Chapters, in my opinion is NO different then many online businesses as they are quick to take your money for goods and possibly provide a receipt but expect to either wait for an eternity to receive your item or possibly not receive it at all. Stick to EBay for your online shopping, if possible, less headaches in the long run.

IndiGo Airlines baggage damage

I travelled from Mumbai to Bangalore on 1 April 2011, flight 6E-412, Indigo Airlines. When I colleceted my baggage at Bangalore, my bag was damaged. The zip had been broken and all the contents of one of the bag pockets were missing. Bills worth over Rs. 5000, election card, headphones, some money, etc. all gone. When I complained to the Indigo Management, the tell me that my loss of luggage needs to weigh over 2kgs and only then they will help me otherwise they cannot do anything. They even went to the extent of telling me that if I was so concerned about my bills, I can go ask the shops to give me photocopies of them! My luggage weighed exactly 5kgs when checking in and 3.5 kgs when checking out. They made me wait for over 3 hours at the airport and still did not do anything. More than the loss of luggage, I am appalled at the obnoxious and rude behaviour of the staff. Their incompetencies and harsh behaviour were completely unnecessary and some action needs to be taken against them.

Kind Attn: Manager on Duty (This is the reminder complaint)
Sir,
I traveled along with my son S.Venkatesh, on 2.7.2017 from Delhi to Bangalore by AI 504. On landing at B.lore, while l received my baggage from the conveyor belt, I was surprised on seeing the condition of my baggage bottom despite getting the 'fragile sticker' pasted on the box. Thus on the same day, I went for reporting at the concerned counter. But to my surprise nobody was there, rather luckily the Indigo staff around them tried to help me by locating the Air India staff, after about my 15-20 mts waiting. As otherwise, I got late and my people at outside were waiting for me as they were also not in a position to wait for a long time due to parking problem & so on.
a) Later, after enough waiting in that room one official was brought by the Indigo staff & to him I explained everything by showing the box. He took a photograph of the same thing and assured me that he will certainly do the needful subsequently, since he doesn't have time to attend to me as he has to go since it was time for the next flight to arrive. As I was also in a hurry, I gave him my contact number & informed him that i'm on a 10-15 days trip to deep South. He also said I can get it done on my return date at B'lore.
b) Likewise, I returned on 16.7.17 by AI-501 flight from BLR-DEL. Again I tried hard to approach the right person for the needful to be done w.r.to my box. At B.lore airport I met in the CS counter, s/Sh.Partheeban.J, Chandrabose.G & also one Hema Shalini (a lady, who doesn't have the right approach towards passengers at all, which I feel is quite essential in her line of job, which was absolutely missing in her.) But since I was in the departure side, I was again restricted from getting the job done, as they said I'm to approach the arrival side at B.lore. How funny..I'm to catch my flight from departure side...already I was getting late..as I came from a long deep South India trip conducted by KSTDC. One vital thing I need to be informed here, that all through my journey I found very difficult to carry my box to every place i.e., for about 10-15 days trip. Imagine, how tough it could have been for me over such long journey.

Finally, I am to say that I asked them to take the photograph of my box in the mobiles of Mr.Partheeban & Mr. Chandrabose. For reference it can be very well seen for taking appropriate action at least now, 'better late than never'.

In fact, I waited patiently for about complete two months, hoping that the needful will be done on its own at the higher level like. But unfortunately, I doubt the issue might not have reached at the higher level, I suppose. Further, the concerned registers can be checked & the details can be verified from the concerned officials too, so that you may be able to get a clear picture as how i was put into a great problem like, without getting any due assistance from the concerned staff. In fact, Mr.Partheeban & Chandra bose had given it in writing to me to address you people, incase if the issue is not resolved in time. So, now I'm bringing the issue to your kindself notice hoping to get a right solution, considering the name & fame of Air India please.

Regards,
Meenakshi Sriganesh

IndiGo Airlines wrost experience with indigo airlines/never travel by this airlines at any cost

Wrost experience with Indigo Airlines/Never travel by this Airlines

We were to board the Delhi bound flight(R6URCP) from Chennai at 20:00Hrs 21-12-2009 when this incident happened.
We reached in the security check at 19:30Hrs after the announcement and were held up at security for around 15 minutes.
The manager of the indigo airlines (Present at [protected]:00Hrs) informed us that we were late even though we entered the security check at 19:35Hrs.
He (Manager) tore the tickets in front of us and we were asked to move out of the place immediately. He didn’t give us the chance to explain.
My question is - Who is he to tare my tickets?
He literally dragged us to the front gate and left us alone.he didnt show us any courtesy even after repeatedly saying that we were the first time flighters.
It is my money and rightfully it belongs to me. He has no right to tare my tickets. I was embarrassed in front of the crowd.
This was supposed to be my first flight experience and would have kept the tickets as wonderful memories since the money I have put is my first month’s salary.
It is a sentimental/Financial issue for me and was depressed for 2 weeks because of this.
I had asked this question" I am expecting a reply from one of the managers.I will take appropriate action if I don’t get a convincing reply."
For this he asked me to forgive and said he will refund me 229 per passenger.
so if u lost your respect, get humilated by indigo staff - dont worry - they will pay you 229 rupees.
Really he destroyed my joy of the first flight experience.
This is my humble request to all that never travel by indigo travels at all. they dont respect you, wat all they respect is the timing of their flights and they have 229 rupees to refund you.
Moreover one funny thing is, atleast they havent repaid the 229 amount per passenger what they promised me to give.
i have all the proofs and an eye witness and i am going to take this to consumer court untill i get my money back.
my mail id is [protected]@yahoo.com and i will be delighted to explain you in detail if u still have any queries.

IndiGo Airlines baggage loss

My sister flew to Bangalore from Vadodara on the 27th of Apr 2008 on Indigo Airlines flight 6E 277 with her two kids. The flight was via Mumbai (just a stop).
She had checked in two pieces of check-in baggage. When the flight landed at Mumbai someone from the Airline came up to her and asked her how many check-in baggages she had and she told them it was two (a bag and a suitcase).
On landing at the Bangalore airport, she was able to get only the suitcase. The bag never came. On lodging a complaint with the Airline, we were not even given a complaint number on insisting a lot they agreed to call and let us know of a complaint number.
Since that day we keep calling the Airline number and talking to various people but to no avail. They never call to update us on the status of the search. And when I call they just say we are searching.
They say that if at the end of 20 days (wow !) they are unable to find they would compensate us with some money (based on some weight related calculation).
My suggestion to them is to give me the money right now and take it back the moment they find the bag for me. This will keep them on toes and attend to the problem with more diligence. And for me, it would mean that I get some immediate relief and know that the issue is atleast half solved.
Another thing that baffles me is that they decide the compensation based on the weight of the bag, which is totally ridiculous to me (ok, all airlines do the same, but that doesnt mean it is right). They can make it mandatory for people to fill in the approximate value of the baggage at the time of check-in (like we do when we send packages with couriers).
I am still hoping we will be able to get back the bag. Because I am more interested in getting my bag than any compensation !

And my comment to them:
I agree that you have rules and regulations. And if you chose to follow rules rather than helping passengers who give you business, in times such as this where your callousness and carelessness causes distress to the passenger, that shows the amount of respect and regard you have for customer service and customer satisfaction.

I feel sad that you have no regard to the amount of loss and problem we have been through because of your negligence and it pains more to see that rather than being proactive enough to come forward to help the customer in whatever way possible you are pointing me to the rule book and regulations. We have suffered a loss in monetary terms as well as mental agony because of the loss of our baggage while being on vacation. But this as I see is of little importance to you. And this makes very clear the amount of customer satisfaction that you wish to spread and the amount of business you wish to do.

You never tell the customers by printing on the ticket important information such as the rules in effect in case of baggage loss. If I knew you would not compensate me for more thatn 3000 rupees I would never have put my bag in the check-in luggage. But you would not tell me that. It doesnt even take your ink, because I print the ticket on my own. So what is it that stops you from providing such important information to the passenger. You might argue that it is all available on your website, and I agree. But what percentage of your passengers is internet literate and use internet on the daily basis.

It is one thing to be politically and legally correct and another thing to be able to rise above the ordinary and provide a service of a different class. You I am sorry to say belong to the first category and would never make it to the next level unless you gather the courage and passion to be able to solve genuine cases of loss in amicable ways to not lose hope of the passenger.

Dear Sir,

We thank you for choosing IndiGo

We regret the inconvenience caused due to the lost baggage that was reported by you at our arrival counter in Bangalore. Our staff has made all efforts to locate your lost baggage and still searching in all possible areas. The concerned airport staff has been in contact with you in this regard.

As you are aware, a case of misplaced baggage (such as yours) is governed by the Conditions of Carriage (“COC”) of IndiGo. The COC is in the nature of a binding contract between the airline and the passenger who chooses to fly with it. Therefore, every passenger who chooses to fly with IndiGo agrees to be bound by its conditions of carriage. The baggage rules in the COC state that in the case of lost baggage, IndiGo's liability for any loss, delay or damage to Baggage is limited to Rs 200 per kg with a maximum of Rs 3, 000 only. Further, all medication, valuables and precious items (cameras, jewelry, money, electronics, etc.) and items which are fragile or perishable should be carried in Cabin Baggage and not in Checked Baggage. IndiGo is not responsible for these items.

We are still searching for the missing baggage. May we request you to give us some more time to revert to you. Our airport staff will get in touch with you in this regard.

Best regards,
Abhinav Maharishi

I got a couple of calls from the airline today. But still no trace of the baggage. The compensation that they mention is not even 20% of the cost of the bag and the stuff inside it. How crappy can the airline be. Its really pathetic.

i FLEW inDIGO FLIGHT 6e127 ON 13TH JULY FROM DELHI TO GUWAHATI.i HAD A CONFIRMED TICKET AND WEBCHECKED IN ON 12TH EVNG AND GOT SEAT NO 4F.mY SEQUANCE WAS 7.oN 13TH MNG, i CHECKED IN MY BAGGAGE AND ASKED FOR BOARDING PASS.I WAS TOLD TO GET MY BAGGAGE WEIGHED AND PAY FOR 30 KG EXCESS BAGGAGE WHICH CONSISTED OF 2 SUITCASES AND 2 HAND BAGS.iN ALL THERE WRE 4 ITEMS THAT WERE CHECKED IN.i PAID 7, 500/- FOR THE EXCESS BAGGAGE AND COLLECTED MY BOARDING PASS FROM THE EXCESS BAGGAGE COUNTER AND BOAREDED THE FLIGHT.i DID NOT REALISE THAT ONLY 3 ITEMS WERE TAGGED AND HE STICKERS PUT ON MY BOARDING PASS AND THE 4TH BAG WAS NOT TAGGED AND NO STICKER PUT ON THE BOARDING PASS.i WAS BUSY PAYING THE EXCESS BAGGAGE FARE AND ASSUMED THAT ALL 4 ITEMS WERE CHECKED IN.bUT ON LANDING IN GUWAHATI AT 10 AM ON 13TH ULY, I WAS HANDED ONLY 3 ITEMS.THE 4TH ITEM WAS A RED COLOURED Reebok hand bag with Reebok shoes, Florsheim shoes and 2 pairs of chappals.this bag went missing and has not been traced so far.The indigo staff at the airport told me that it may have been untagged and may have been left behind at delhi itself. Then why was i charged excess baggage ? this essentially means that I was made to pay for a bag that was not carried/checked in and i ended up losing the bag after paying for carrying it !this is ridiculous and i fail to understand how indigo staff can weigh a item, make me pay for it as excess baggage and not check it in.it appears this was deliberately done as the Reebok bag was not locked and contained expensive footwear.Obviously this must be the handiwork of indigo staff themselves and no one else.Till today -the 17th july, there is no news from indigo about this missing bag and it's contents.I intend taking this case to the consumer's forum and seeking redressal from indigo as i had paid for checking it in and carrying it to guhawati but ended up losing it as it was not checked in and carried- a clear case of deficiency in service despite paying for the service.

They are cheaters and misplaced our bag knowingly. In bag my infants clothes, my cosmetics, kids medical reports, his medicines, my i-phone mobile charger, one book approx. rs. 25000/- has lost. They have not reverted us till date. I hav a strong intution that their staff has done this. They have to pay the whole money of my baggage. Their staff has done work very carelessly. The airline should pay for the whole money and recover it from the duty staff. Inspite of all this, i suggedt if they check cctv footage then they can easily make out ghe guilty staff. Otherwise i am in full mood of fighting against the lost of my baggage. As some very worthy things my kids medical reports are in the bag and i am more interested in taking my bag back. My cell number is also in the bag. The person can return us by callibg ib phobe.

I am another recent victim of Indigo's careless baggage handling. Me and family travelled Chennai -Ahmedabad (24th Dec 2010 - 6E 237). We were on year end vacation. On arrival at AHM airport, only two of our bags were delivered. The third (largest baggage which had all our clothes and change dress in it) was missing. Indigo did not give any distress compensation or allowance for not delivering the package. They keep searching for 15 hours (despite all the IT / bar code / technology and AWARD WINNING airline (I dunno which joker organization give award to such airlines).

After almost 24 hours they find baggage at Kolkata and fly it in and deliver to my hotel. In the process, I have made almost 6-7 calls (all STD calls from my Chennai mobile # to their AHM, Gurgaon offices). I have sent couple of e-mailss from my mobile as well. I have asked them to compensate me for the severe loss on account of communication costs I have incurred, time wasted, one full day CHristmas holiday that too wasted sitting in my hotel staring at the ceiling, all due to the completely irresponsible way of Indigo airlines.

When u ask compensation, they resort to some esoteric "conditions of carriage" (Condition of carriage states that bag to be delivered on arrival for the money passenger has paid for the ticket - isnt it)

I am now escalating this to Min. of Civil aviation and also shortly planning to file Consumer complaint with Consumer forum to bring accountability and procedures in place for airline to compensate any missed baggage forthwith with appropriate distress allowance as well as giving fair compensation (in case luggage is fully lost)

I would be happy if more of you join in this initiative to bring fairness and equity to consumers and make all airline companies (domestic or otherwise) properly accountable to deliver committed services to customers.

I am also going to write about this experience with Indigo in my forum (about 2500 member strong) and let them know about this pathetic way of handling and providing customer service. I am also writing to the joker company which awarded this airline to pull back the award and black list them from future contests for such awards.

Oh Indigo baggage handling is famous. I have a friend who is so very pissed off with indigo airlines. He had one of those air bags which are made out of nylon. Well, he boarded the flight, and on his way home he found out that the nylon bag was punctured with a medium sized hole.. Not only this, the indigo people were so dishonest, they stuck a fragile sticker on the hole so as to cover it up.
When he called up Indigo airlines, they told him that nothing can be done now as he had to contact indigo while still at the airport. He is still fighting with Indigo airlines.

IndiGo Airlines deduction of amount without booking of ticket

To: Indigo Airlines,

I was booking a ticket on 4th june '07 for Pune to bangalore dated on 2nd July. After clicking confirmation button i got the message as -

Sorry, but one of the flights you selected is no longer available. It's annoying, but it happens. Your card has been pre-authorized for the booking amount but has not been credited to yatra. This amount will be reversed at the earliest. We are sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused. For further information please contact our call center at...

When will i get my amount back as i didn't get my ticket booked so when can i expect my amount back to my Credit card account. This is really irritating that without getting a ticket amount gets deducted. You should update your software :-(

Make sure when u transfer either u send me a mail or msg on my mobile for confirmation.

Thanking u in advance!
