I flew from Chandigarh to Srinagar on the 8th of May on flight 6E6056. Upon arrival at Srinagar airport I noticed that my hard top Delsey luggage was seriously damaged and dented. I was surprised to see that coz the bag is pretty solid. It was damaged near the lock of the bag and evident that someone had tried to get into the bag- thankfully they couldn’t. This bag is worth 35,000 INR. When I tried to lodge the written complaint with their ground staff, they were very hesitant in writing the written complaint. Finally after waiting at the airport for over an hour, they wrote the complaint. Since then, it has been a massive hassle dealing with their customer service staff. My holiday had a bad start because of them but since then their staff keeps calling me again and again with the same resolution- 3000 airline voucher- no thanks! I never want to fly your pathetic airline again. 4,200 INR - thanks for offering me pittance but you can’t just destroy a 35,000 Rs bag and offer me this. All I want is for you to be accountable and replace what you have destroyed with the same thing that you have damaged. I bought the most expensive ticket for that flight with all inclusions and this is how you treat your customers. Stop wasting my time and resolve this matter or a complaint will be lodged with the consumer court and I will get on to Social media and tarnish your airlines reputation.
Claimed loss: 35,000 INR or replace the damaged bag with the same
