I have paid my full Intec account but never find any joy with Intec. I requested new updated handbooks in the beginning of January, every time I phone Intec, they can't tell me if my books have been sent and they promise every week that they will get back to me, but no one does. It seems like if they get their money, then they dont worry about the students anymore.

I have study material never supplied by Intec, exam results never supplied by Intec, 101 email queries sent, phone calls made, etc. This started in February 2019, but besides an email acknowledging my queries and a promised that investigations will be done - I have still receive absolutely no response. Intec admitted that they had communication issues, but it seems they just do not know how to communicate. As a result of this, I could not write my November 2019 exams (I also receive NO TIME TABLES and EXAM ENTRY forms from them). My course is expiring in June 2020. have requested an extension of time for at lease one year (but it would seem that 1.5 years would be best seeing that I still have no resolution). I was a student of Intec around 2004 and completed my 4year Architectural Diploma. After a few years, South African Council of Architects was requesting all draughts person to register. I enrolled and was a candidate for a few years. Another few years have passed and I was 1 level up to professional draughts lady status. With new regulations coming to pass in 2020, it was said that draughts persons identification of works is only single storeys houses.
According to SACAP -
"On 4 October 2019, the Council of the Built Environment (CBE) identified the Scope of Work for every category of Registered Persons for the architectural profession. The scope of work was published under gazette number 42739.
SACAP wishes to notify the architectural profession that the attached Scope of Work identified by the CBE is high level. Consequently, the CBE scope of work must be read in conjunction with SACAP Identification of Work Policy which will be published by January 2020."

I finished my Creative writing course in March 2019 and now, eight months later I still have not received my Intec diploma.I get a few replies on my emails to say they are looking into it and then nothing at all.
Absolute appalling service.I don't think I will ever use Intec again and I will complain over public forums and social media now too.I am just so disappointed.Intec is supposed to be a trusted company and this reputation is what draws clients but it is total nonsense.
Intec is unprofessional and doesn't care.
I feel embarrassed to include my student number, because I feel Intec has taken my money and then taken me for a ride!

I have been trying to get information regarding exams, submitted assignments and general questions answered by Intec,
I have sent countless emails over the past 3 months and have received zero feedback. I gave the call center a call as was told that its not their job to find out why I ma not getting answers. I have registered for exams and payed R900.00 for two exams which were listed on the registration form, when I called in to find out when I would be getting my exam confirmation letter I was told I am only writing one and that I can not get refunded, I then asked if the college could be a little more open and helpful as the documents sent to us make no sense and we are always left in the dark - the nice lady put the phone down in my ear and that was that.
I would appreciate that either the college start doing their job which I have paid for or refund me the R20 000.00 I paid at the star.

I feel I've been frauded and misled by Intec . I was promised my certificate to practice as an ECD 6 months after completing my course. It's 18 months now. I'm getting told story after story. Everyone resigns whom I'm dealing with they hang up the phone on me coninuously. Team leaders don't come to the phone. I'm sitting unemployed because of them. I can't apply for the jobs without my certificate which I paid for and worked for. I was definitely f rauded. This is a bad company. Fraying the people
no certificate
I have been waiting for my certificate with Intec College since March. They promised me that I would receive my certificate within the period of 3months and it's been 7months. What annoys me the most is that I don't even get communication in what's going or happening with regards to the certificate. I can't even apply for jobs or internship because I have nothing to show that I did the course. I really need my certificate and I'm hurt and disturbed by how Intec College could do such to its students. And I swear I would never recommend this college to anyone I will always try and discourage anyone who wants to study with Intec not on my watch they will after the treatment I have received I would not let them hurt or harm anyone else ever again maybe those whom I don't know
fraudulent registration
I went to Intec college to enqyiiee about a national diploma I wanted to pursue. I explain to the student consultant that before I could be registered I would have to be reassured that I would be credited for previous modules I had completed at a different university. Whereupon I expressed that the fee structure in the prospectus would have to be reduced because I wasn't going to do the full programme, but the outstanding ones. He gave me a new fee structure of R9, 280.
At this point I was happy about this because my remsining modules were not subsyanrisl and almost half of the programme.
He furnished me with forms that were intended to check my credit worthiness and even texted me after hours to ensure that I filled in the forms.
He sent me whatsapp texts saying that I was delaying the process and that I was likely stalling the credit check because I thought that he was going to register me.
He used these documents anyway to register me behind my back and because I was intimate by the colleges hostility. I paid R3, 800 into their account. I then sent them emails and called them for a period of almost a week.
It's then that I realised that I had been scammed. I sent the student consultant to send me proof of registration and he did so in day or 2. I went onto their student portal and learnt that I had not been register for my outstanding modules, but only 3 of the modules.
He had misrepresented the facts and the proof of registration form also didn't reflect the contents of what was discussed in our consultation.
They now want to give me barely a fraction of the money I already paid to them.
Please assist.
lack of student support
I am a new student that enrolled for my first year in 2019 about 2 months ago.
I've sent my first assignment in on 21/08/2019 whereby I have not received any confirmation that my assignment has been received. On 12 september I contacted the student support to follow up on why I haven't heard anything relating to me assignment whereby the consultant confirmed that the email address given on the assignment sheet as well as on the website "does not always work"… she gave me a new email address where I need to resubmit my assignment to, which I have done, yet again after a few follow up emails, no feedback.
Just to make the matter even more frustrating, I registered to write my first exam in november. I submitted the form and asked that whom ever receives my mail needs to please acknowledge receipt of my email, still nothing….
I have logged queries on the "tutor support" section on the portal and guess what…. No feedback…..
I paid my entire first year and my 5 exams upfront when I enrolled. I was under the impression that because I received such fantastic service from the consultant that assisted me with the enrollment that I would receive good service from all the other departments…. Apparently the joke is on me.
None of the email address I email even reads my mails as I put a read-receipt on every single email I have sent to intec.
I even placed a complaint on hello peter…. And surprise… no feedback…..
Does anyone in the assignment, tutors, exams registration or student support actually work there still? I am extremely disappointed in intec. It feels to me that the students doesn't mean anything to the institute at all. If only I knew that this was the type of service that I would be getting, I would have spent my money somewhere where students actually matter and not just their fees.
With a general query that a student has, you struggle to get hold of anyone but I can guarantee you, let a student miss one payment, then all of a sudden you will get action from intec.
All I only wanted to know was has my assignment been received and has my exam registration form been received? I have not made a payment for my exams because of the fact that it has already been paid…
I UNDERSTAND YOUR FRUSTRATION... THEY ARE PATHETIC!
I signed up with Intec beginning of 2019 - this is my first year so i am basically clueless have no idea what is going on - its time for exams now - my luck - i had to phone them 50 times a week - send 100 emails - and to date i have not received any assistance. I am writing 2 subject on the same day at the same time - explaining this to Intec is tricky... they are CLUELESS! I completed a "Exam entry form" and paid the same day... the chosen centre was Boksburg... i only received my confirmation letter today (which is still wrong .. HAHA!) ... after numerous correspondence says that same was supposed to be received by the 11th... AND GUESS WHAT ... the exam centre given is Bethlehem... the person that helped me with student registration disappeared without informing me... after numerous attempts calling him... i found out he no longer works with intec ...i can carry on forever.. but let's not :)
I agree that Intec is not very good with replying to emails and student support are very poor, all my text books I needed to buy were either outdated, no longer in print and Iban no's incorrect.. I dnt think they care about the students, there work modules and information is outdated as well

We registered my son for his N1 Engineering Science in Jan/Feb 2019, since then I have had to contact them constantly with regards to information required for exams internal and external. These emails do not get sent to me, when the various registrations are open, and when I do phone to find out information, the agents have numerous versions of when, where and how the exams will be taking place. Now my son is busy with his external exams, also after a huge fight with them with regards to the registration of this internal exam, once again, if I had not called in on the 1st / 2nd of August, and would have waited for their correspondence to be sent, my son would have written his exam now. On phoning them today the 3rd of September, and as per documentation for external exam registration stating it is open in September for the November examinations, they advised me external examination registrations have been closed for November. Take note that I have not received any any information regarding this, unless I call in to get the information, then only will they send it to me. Now they also tell me that he will still not be eligible for the November external exams as he has not received marks for the internal exams. If its was the case and I have received all the relevant information for the other internal exams, my son could have written his internal exams earlier during the year in order for him to be able to write his external exam. Taking this into consideration, his N1 course needs to be completed in a year, and will expire in 1/02/2020, and they say that he will only be able to write his external exam next year April, that falls out of his course term, and so how I see it he has to re-register. My thought process with this, I paid little over R8000.00 for the course, for what, they do not send you any manuals, this you need to purchase personally, then when you do need need their assistance with regards to problems in the manuals, they never get back to you and you need to complete form on top of form, and still do not get back to you. Then you need to pay additionally for the internal exams and the external exams, SO WHAT DID I PAY R8000.00 FOR, NOTHING! I do not get the necessary service for that amount paid that I should, and they are playing with individuals education. This is unacceptable. And I need to get this resolved, asap.

I wrote 4 exams in June and results were supposed to be released on Friday the 30th of August.
I have phoned every possible number I can find relating to intec and I still haven't received my results.
I have emailed and phoned continuously.
My course is paid for and I paid for those exams and should be allowed to know my results.
Absolutely nobody that I've managed to speak with has been able to give me any clarification or even assistance in this matter.

I have payed a big sum of money the 15th of August, that is almost 2 weeks ago. After nagging, I got my student number only this past Friday,
till now I am not able to get access to the student portal. I have already asked that this be sorted out, but not getting any response.

If I have to attached all the email that I have sent to Intec, it will be 100 emails, therefore I will start from the beginning.
1. Joelene Naidoo Supply Chain Management Student Number [protected] did her re-write in June 2019 (4 subjects) Please be advised that the learner is registered for two exam subjects, therefore an amount of R900 must be paid for this exam fees. That was on the 16th May 2019. I'm still waiting for the invoice!
2. We are still waiting for the results (Your query was escalated to the Exam department for assistance) this is the email received.
3. Ruth Tjuma Student Number [protected] did her control test for Electrical Trade Theory N1, accordingly to Intec there is no marks for this and I'm not too sure if she needs to re-write the control test which I then needs to register her which I most properly missed the dead line for registration

5. Accordingly to Rock of Springs and Intec there are no marks for my 2 apprenticeship which they re-wrote Mathematics N2 in June 2019. No results can be found. There contract with Merseta is only up to end December 2019, which they have to completed their Trade Test.

I will never work with this college in my life. I am waiting 4 months now to cancel the product i took with them, but up until today i still did not receive any feedback. They cannot provide me with feedback, the cancelations department never takes calls no one knows how long this will take. They debit my account every month but do not get any service. Where can i report them to as this is getting out of hand?

I sent all the paperwork for a psychology course and paid the full course amount in full. I was told they would sms me my student number within 4 days. When I didnt receive it, I called again and was told that one of my papers I sent was unclear. I resent it and waited again. When I still didnt receive my student number, I called again and was told my certification was not certified. The lady told me it was getting taken care of and they will call me the next day. Then suddenly they started ignoring all my correspondence after that. I paid them almost 18000 rand and now I have no idea who to talk to to either get my study material or my money back

I registered with intec college almost waited 6 months for my study material, uppon the arrival of my material it was short. I had to make a choice to write most of my subjects and assignments with incomplete material. Some subjects i passed others i am still struggling with like Financial Accounting. I had to rewrite Economics and had redone my assignment as well because i failed in June 2016, so i wrote again in November 2016 .when i ask intec for my results they keep on sending the same results which i failed in June, no one listen or read the emails that i have send. Now i am told that my contract expired and no one can help me to write the last subject, which i am still waiting for books and i cannot do the assignment as well. I have been sick and now have depression because of Intec College. This matter will also be handed over to my attorney's soon.Please help i have all details and proof as well as contact details of management and staff that was unwilling to assist me

I got 10% for Mathematics (3% for the one and 13% for the second) - this could not be. I can't register for external exams for I don't get any feedback nor is my calls or emails answered in this regards. I was also invoiced for three subject to be written but only applied and paid for two.
Any calls when answered is by a student support who CAN'T HELP YOU AT ALL.
