I complaining about italk x my account
I had italk and from the start I had it in couldn't use it because there was a fault with Internet they sent someone out and the fault wasn't my end it was there end they tried charging me for services I didn't get to use so they was gonna give me compensation and reset my account and start again they sent me a new box out and it still wasn't working then sent someone out from open reach that didn't turn up and tried charging me for that the bill has gone up and up and I tried to sort the matter and didn't get no where but italk are trying to still get payments off me even tho I've never been able to use there Internet I'm really annoyed at this as I did want my Internet provider to be italk as there great but I ent getting nowhere except been harassed for payments for somethink I couldn't use they said it get sorted but no think has ever come out of it I shouldn't be paying anythink for somethink I've never used so until my Internet is up and running and my balance is back to zero I ent paying no think and if it don't get sorted I will go to c.a.b to take further actions because I'm sick of been asked for payment for Internet I couldn't even use sort it out and I will gladly have my Internet back with your company

I rang I talk to let them know that I would be ringging up frm now on and paying not to take no money frm my account, beacuse the money in there are for my bills and for me to pa for my home till I get paid again I pay ur owt of my monthy money maybe not on time with the timeing n dates I get paid but I always pay I even dont mind paying ya late fees but today youve taken a payment with owt prmison not I direct debit yav used my bank deatels n took the money witch ive told you not to as I need tht money I get paid fri and thats the day I ring to pay this is discusting and classed as steelin

Italk did exactly the same thing to me they took almost all my wage this week £88.16 to be exact which is higher than the bill states, from an account i made a one off payment from previously they were told they were not to store those details on file as it was a one off payment but they stored them anyway and then took money from it without my knowledge and consent. Then on the same day they had the audacity to call for a direct debit from the account i have the dd setup on for a further £53 and within an hour that same day cut my line and broadband line dead. I wasnt even getting there guaranteed minimum speed which is a breach of contract. Absolutely disgusting service and very ill mannered and obnoxious staff on there collections department. I am now forwarding my complaint to ofcom, the fca as they are taking from accounts they are not authorised to do and also the oft. I would advise that you and anyone else they have done this to does the same.

Hi there I've sent emails spoken on phone about my internet told to do this which I've done .
So now I'm getting really annoyed the internet goes of 6/7 times a day.
When I use the house the phone the internet goes of this shouldn't happen.
I speak to my boyfriend on cam every night and we give up as my Internet goes of.
I am discussted with your service and I want it to be sorted or I'm going to another provider and I'm not paying anything for leaving yourselves I've got rights as I've looked in to it its shoddy Internet I came to yourselves as you where cheaper and all I get is nothing back.

Have been without services since December January right upto now still no service at all keeps sending bills for service tried contacting them by Facebook and by email service all come back with error with there network rang them few times keep telling me have to pay them don't owe them nothing don't pay for services which can't use at all tried with there service provider that come don't do service in my area at all contacted it italk yesterday there told me again had to pay told them not paying them at all for services don't get been without services for months now still nothing been done bout it

My internet is not working and has been rescurited and there was problems with it and could not use it and am now thinking of going to another broadband provider as I was meant to be compensated some way was wondering if there was anything that could be done to help me with this as I can't use my internet and wish for someone to please help to sort this issue out and get in up and running or I will go to another broadband provider

being charged for a service i've ever received
Hi I signed up to your WiFi product on Dec 7t H I was told I would go live on Jan 3rd which never happens. I made numourose phone calls to make you aware of the problem. I cancelled my contract on the 7th of January 2018. and then start to receive numourose letters with charges being taken from my account without my permission. I'm now getting letters with different amounts for a cancellation fee which I feel is totally out of order. if you bought an item that was faulty from a shop you would get a refund. my point I am makeing to you is I never signed a contract in the first place was sold your service on a false pretence which is against the law and going into my bank account with my permission is fraud.

* nobody contacted me for over 12 months, but when I cancelled their service to go elsewhere, I had 3 calls in a week, ( too little, too late after never missing a payment )
* I informed them i was going to dispute the early termination fee as I hadnt had the service I had paid for. So I asked if they would be trying to take money from my account without my permission, and I was informed that they would not do that, as it would be illegal, so I told them I wanted it in writing so I could dispute the fee, I was assured that they would do that anyway, needless to say I didn't receive anything in writing, not even a email .
* After cancelling all payments at the bank, I found that I had £147 taken without permission from myself, without anything in writing, without so much as an email, when I managed to speak to someone, I spoke to Keiron who was on station no. 4421, I told him what had happened, after explaining to him, that they had took my partners disability money, and that he had pancreatic cancer, also an aggressive type one diabetes, and needs a strict diet, he could understand my anger and agreed for the money to be paid back, he gave me a six digit number to give the bank, for the money to be tracked back, and assured me it would be paid . Two days later nothing had gone back in my account, I rang the bank, and they informed me that they had taken the money, I rang i talk straight away, what happened next was disgusting and traumatic, I spoke to a lady in customer services, she then put me through to payments, they didn't know anything about the refund, they then passed me back to customer services, the person I spoke to was the rusdst, obnoxious, unprofessional person I have ever dealt with, he spoke over me louder and louder, he told me it wasn't his problem, continually shouted over me, your not getting a refund, over and over again, then he started yawning at me, obviously to let me know he was bored, then he hung up on me, nothing but dismissal of this person would be acceptable to me, if that's their customer services, I'm surprised they do any business, I have now raised a visa dispute at the bank, which they are dealing with, I am also considering going public with it, people should be warned not to do business with them, I am aware of the way they treat pensioners, and the problems they have had in America,

I signed up to them last year and I have had nothing but trouble from them. I clicked on one of their social media adverts and it looked very promising. Boy was I in for shock. They promised an iTalk router £99, unlimited data and speeds up to 17mbps. What I received was a dodgy router branded Zyxel worth £20, with a two prong plug, a manual for a completely different router and a welcome pack stating speeds between 1.5mbps & 3.5mbps. On the day of activation, speeds peaked at 0.5mpbs, took 10 minutes to load a web page. I complaint about the products before activation, I switched it off the same day of activation. I contacted them, they offered an upgrade! I said no thanks, I want to cancel. Ever since they have harassed me for £422, via e-mails, text messages etc. They have illegally set-up two direct debits in my account, passed my details to a debt collections, marked my credit score and still to this day continuously harass me. I have now started a claim against them, with CEDR and I am taking them to court for compensation for their misconduct. All I can say to potential customers, don't go near them, avoid at all costs and take them to the cleaners, like they do to everybody else.

My ref: IT179113 in November 2017 I reported problems with my phone line. I took a day off work to wait for the telecoms engineer to arrive. He called me to say that because of the condition of my road he was unable to attend. He explained the vehicle he was in was unsuitable. I was disappointed but polite and said that he could rearrange another time. Meantime I decided to change to a satellite phone so no longer needed the line. I contacted my phone provider iTalk and explained the situation. I then received a bill for £156.00 which iTalk took from my account direct debit. I phoned their customer service team and explained that I had been charged for a call out that didn't happen. The customer service operative took all of the above details plus my request to cancel the service to my property. She told me she would get back to me, she didn't. I have received subsequent request for further payments on this account. I explained to numerous customer service operatives that I have no intention of making any further payments until this over payment is resolved. I have also spoken to members of the payments team after receiving three requests for payment on my account. I explained my situation to them and they put me on to the customer service team who said they would arrange for a manager to speak to me. So far this has not happened. I have paid every invoice on time and even though my phone line hasn't been great and I couldn't get broadband on the line I still paid without complaint. I have now managed to get broadband via satellite which is more expensive but my only option. It seems to me that iTalk has no regard for it's customers and is merely seeking to make money. I am looking for this overpayment of £156.00 to be refunded and I am happy for iTalk to take out the final balance on my account. I think this is reasonable especially as I have not been able to use the land line since early November 2017.

I rang up 3 weeks ago and exsplained my intenet was goinh exatremly slow got rold to plug my router into a laptop check the speed then biy time i got round to it it went of i rang again to tell them to get told i had to wait till they could contact a engernieer wich took a week of me phoning back on numras times to finally get a date for engernieer he came out had a look told me it was sorted he left i tried ti connect nothing not even a signal so i rang him back he said he would come back at 8 in the morning next day didnt turn up iv now been on the phone every day for a week getting fobbed of biy everyone ib spoke to getting to they will request this and that im still sat waiting for a call back to sort my problem this is discusting iv asked to speak to manger no reply but when i tell them i am canncelling my direct debit they then tell me i will get a charge because im still in contract how can this be right when this company has breached their contract i havent had no internet for 3 week but im still exspected tk pay for it !

I have been missold italk broadband and it's services.
I was told my ‘live' date was 20th March 2018. It is now 3pm on 20th of March and I'm without service.
I have made 4 phone calls to italk customer services and to be told it can take up to midnight to activate. Ridiculous. I've been supplied by most companies both private and commercial I have yet to hear such nonsense from any other ISP.
On my 4th call to customer services I needed answers why wasn't I informed that although I'm planning around the 20th, the date set by italk, it's actually going to be the 21st!
Unacceptable. I asked 3 times to speak with a manager and 3 times I was told there's nobody available to speak to me. Unacceptable. I'm now totally frustrated and upset with the whole setup and the upset that has been caused because I was misled completely in order to sign up more customers. I've been online to see an overwhelming majority of people are warning potential new customers to avoid italk at all costs.
A ridiculous amount of people having complained of being in the very situation I've found myself in right now.
I've tried to speak to someone who can give me the answer to the questions I've got.
My 3 teenage sons have counted down the days to the 20th March ecspecting, as you would, on the 20th we will be back only.
It's a total let down and a far cry from what I expected. At this time in the late afternoon on the day we go live.

I have had Numberous issues with talk talk, I have called on numerous time reguarding having no services, I have not had no serices from 13 December 2017, I was told an engineer would be out 27th 28th and the 1st, told sort the issue, no one turned up, I call again another few time and have stated that I was cancelling my contract with ur company due to italk wanting payment when I had no i services, I am a mother of 3 and don't have disposable to pay for a service that I ain't receiving, I am now being harassed by your company for harassment, your company have also tried to set up another direct debit with out permission, I will be contacting ofcom reguarding the situation of harassment as will aswell as trying to register my bank details for a direct debit for the second time with out my permission

We registered for broadband service and from day one you got it wrong, no service now and again, billing us completely different to what we agreed on the phone. Today you was to phone us so we could pay £45 off our disputed bill, instead you deside to take £154 and clear my bank account. I have just had a baby this Saturday just gone, and you have left me with nothing. To cap it off, your customer service guy actually laughed don the phone to me when I rang to ask for my money back. Total disgrace, you don't give a damb about customers once you have them signed up. I am looking to take this further, local paper and news.

The problems I have had with this company go back many months and I am really getting to the end of my tether. I have never been treated so badly or rudely in my life, by any company. Firstly, I had no broadband services for the first few months of my so called contract, with no explanation. I cancelled my contract after many attempts to contact them by phone, spending many of my lunch breaks trying to get through to their virtually non existent customer service, which is rudely and badly managed. I eventually spoke to a nice lady who persuaded me to stay with them but I do not know why I did it. my phone was cut off several times for no reason even after I thought things had been sorted out. I talk are still trying to take money from my account and have done, even after I cancelled direct debits. They will not take my emails and I have told them that I will be forced to take legal action if they do no stop this harassment. This is only a brief synopsis of what has gone on over the months. All I wanted was a fair telephone and broadband service and Italk is definitely not the company who are capable of providing this. So be warned people out there

I have been a customer of italk since october 2017 I have had my service barred on 3 occasions as my wages were running a week after my bill on 21st of february italk decided to phone me and inform me that I have a outstanding balance of £67 I told the person that I had spoken to customer care about my bill on 20th of january to find out how much my bill was and when it was due as I was having trouble logging into my account and the lady told me my bill was £30 and the odd pence and it was generated on 9th of february and its due to be paid on friday 23rd february and she also said I noticed there isn't a direct debit set up as I phone in on the saturday morning after wages go into my bank and I said yes that's correct then this gentleman from italk calls me and tells me italk tried to collect the money from my bank account on 21st february I told him italk had no rights as there is no debit set up then he told me that that my account is in arrears of £67 I tried to tell him the lady the day before told me that my bill was £30 and its not due to be paid until friday then he said but you got 3 fees of £8 for the bars on my service plus £7.50 for late payment I told him 1 I wasn't told when I took this agreement out about any £8 fees for having services barred 2 im not late with my payment look at your monitor and who I spoke to about my bill 3 even if this was correct it had taken italk 5 months to phone me and inform me that I got to pay barred service fees at this moment I have been in touch with offcom about this and made them aware of the situation with italk my account number is it218481 my home address is 20 tolpath coedeva cwmbran np446ud mr alan norman I do not want to leave italk but if we can't resolve this matter I have no choice but to look for a new provider I don't need this stress as my wife is on a dialysis machine 8hrs a day and awaiting a kidney transplant so please resolve this asap

I have only been with you for a few months, I'm still yet to install my house phone, so when I received a statement with £322 charge I was horrified. When I had contacted the company as to how this had been calculated they told me I had 2 call outs at a cost of £150 each time.. however this is not the case. I tried to explain that an engineer from BT service had been round to check the phone lines in each property and he had replaced a socket, this was not a call out of mine. The person had put the phone down on me. I am extremely angry with the situation and how I was treated. I was told the service you provide is of a high slandered; I am still yet to this quality.
