Title at the top right of a programme I am watching
Whilst I am watching a programme on your channel every so often a title appears on the top right-hand corner of the TV reminding me every few minutes, constantly about another programme that is going to be on later . I find this very annoying and then it stops me from enjoying the programme I am watching. This title has nothing to do with what I am watching so please can you get rid of it
Recommendation: Title at the top right of a programme I am watching it is so annoying
Mr Bates versus the Post Office
Well done for showing this excellent docu/drama! not only was it really well done - the actors were great! but it shone a light on the most terrible miscarriage of justice that a lot of people were totally unaware of due to the fact that so much information about this scandal has been suppressed for years! I am most definitely back in the ITV camp after this! and I look forward to more programmes of the same high standard. Thank you for what you have done for all these egregiously treated innocent people!

ITV Complaints 475
Emmerdale
I am writing to express my disgust at the programme showing 2 actors which made it apparent that they were 2 strangers meeting up to have casual sex.
This is surely not appropriate being shown in the early evening when children/teenagers can be watching.
Surely it is dangerous to present this as something that can happen and is acceptable behaviour. Young people meeting strangers they have net on social media can leave them at high risk
Desired outcome: Please advise the writers that this is not acceptable

ITV seems to have crossed a line by airing content that suggests casual meetups for sex are acceptable, especially during a time when children and teenagers might be watching. It’s concerning that they would present this behavior in a way that could influence young viewers, potentially putting them at risk. Your frustration is understandable, and it’s clear that this kind of programming is inappropriate for early evening viewing. Hopefully, ITV reconsiders the timing and content of what they broadcast to ensure it’s suitable for all audiences.
ITV This Mornings Alison Hammond
Alison Hammond is making Paddy Mc Guinness look very uncomfortable on the sofa ! She’s touching him constantly his right arm and right leg! He tried moving away but she’s being far too intimidating to paddy it’s unnecessary unacceptable & unprofessional!
She’s also being verbally sexually in conversation using sexual connotations in her choice of words when talking with Vanessa & Charles!
Desired outcome: She’s needs this pointed out

Pot noodle advert
This advert shows a young woman in an office slurping pot noodles very loudly.
It is disgusting. If our children did this they would be stopped and told how rude it was to eat like that.
We , as adults, are supposed to show a good example of table manners.how are children to learn if you advocate this sort of disgusting behaviour.
Pamela Banbury
Desired outcome: Advert to be taken off tv

News reporting King Charles
Making such a big deal of King Charles having a cancer diagnosis. Was it really necessary to make a whole hours programme repeating 20 times over the same meagre details. In their hurry to fill airtime on this topic presenters slipped out inaccurate information Chris Ship distinctly mentioned his “prostate cancer” only to say later in the same sentence the cancer was not of the prostate. These slips occurred by rushing people out to chatter about nothing. Making such a big deal about cancer will not really help those affected by it, filling an entire news episode makes it seem more scary and concerning than it probably is, that was irresponsible
Desired outcome: Do better in future

I’m a celebrity, get me out of here
I am disgusted and heartbroken that ITV are allowing Nella Rose to bully other campmates now she is camp leader. ITV should be ashamed that they are supporting this evil human being. ITV we are trying to teach each other to be kind, what is this teaching us, how to bully and be nasty to each other. I am so disappointed that it has come to calling Nella a celebrity!
Desired outcome: Get her off the tele!
ITV I’m celebrity get me out of here
I find Nella really offensive she has had another go with Nigel and it’s not because of the colour of her skin like someone has said it’s what she says it’s ok if it suits her but if not teddy goes out of cot she isn’t even a celebrity a you tuber is not a celebrity something needs to be done I wouldn’t even pay her not a celebrity this is the 3rd time she has been offensive this one is on the 29th November
Desired outcome: Fix it a specially going forward like I said it’s not the colour of her skin it’s what comes out of her mouth
I’m a celebrity get me out of here
I would like to complain about Nella Rose and the way she behaves to other camp mates. Her row with Fred Siriex over his comment about being her father was disgraceful, she completely disregarded his attempt at explaining the context.
She has also been extremely rude and RACIST towards Nigel Farage! Her comment telling him that all black people hate him was very racist - he would not have been allowed to make that comment to her! And the way she dismissed him yesterday evening when he was having a discussion about what could and couldn’t be said was dreadful, and she then ‘lobbies’ other camp mates to try to get them to agree with her.
Finally, her seeing the medic last night appears to have been a tactic to avoid being voted for to do the trial, and it worked!
Claimed loss: It has left me feeling distressed and offended by her words and actions.
Desired outcome: She should be made to apologise to Fred Siriex and Nigel Farage for her behaviour. Failing that, she should be evicted from the camp, preferably live on the show.
Lorraine Kelly
22nd November 2023 Lorraine Kelly made some hateful statements on her live show regarding Nigel Farage. This is totally unacceptable as your presenters should be impartial and kind to people.
There were 3 females talking/[censored]ing about him. Kelly acted in the same way when Matt Hancock was in the jungle. I’m surprised she still has a job.
She also body shamed him and was ageist.
If he had said the same thing about her she would demand an apology, and more!
Desired outcome: Public apology to Nigel Farage and remove her from spreading more hateful statements.
Nella Rose. Im a celebrity.
Im a celebrity get me out of here.
NELLA ROSE.
I would like to complain about the way Nella treated Fred on Tuesday 21st nov. Show.
Fred made a comment about being old enough to be Nella’s father. This was made with no malicious intent at all. Nella Blue, this all out of proportion and was so rude to Fred that it made viewing very very uncomfortable.. so much so that if she carries on ignoring Fred, I will no longer watch the program as I don’t like to see bullying and nothing done about it.
Desired outcome: Nella Rose to be spoken to.
Advertisement with inappropriate content
During afternoon of Monday 20th November 2023 itv had broadcasted an advertisement concerning men’s erection problems. An inappropriate symbol representing sexual implications was also shown in large format during advertisement. I found this inappropriate due to time it was broadcast. Children could have been viewing this. Advertisement with inappropriate content was broadcast between 3:30 and 4:00pm.
Upcoming Im A Celebrity 2023
The inclusion of Nigel Farage in the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity is disappointing and insulting in the least. It is disgraceful that a man with such outright disgusting views is being allowed a platform and ITV should be ashamed of themselves. After lasts year’s mis step of including Matt Hancock - a hypocrite that was responsible for the death of hundreds of thousands - I would had thought that ITV would have learnt it’s lesson. I could not morally bring myself to watch last year’s series and I will not be able to this year.
Desired outcome: For Nigel Farage to be removed from the line up of the upcoming series of I’m a Celebrity
News coverage of Saturday 11th November marches.
In the news on 11th November regarding the marches in London words such as ‘thugs’ and ‘hooligans’ were used to describe those protecting the British way of life and showing patriotism. Not even the BBC used such biased, inflammatory wording as this. This is utterly disgusting of ITV to use such language and clear opinions and is exactly what these ‘thugs and hooligans’ were there to protect the British from. In the words of the Palestinian protestors shouting in the faces of the police on Saturday ‘shame on you’.
Claimed loss: Faith in ITV as being a biased, racist against the British, who have just joined the likes of the BBC in their method of reporting. I’d like a response and a public apology.
Desired outcome: Take a good look at yourselves and start to become a British news channel for Britain.
Big Brother programme
The programme from ITV2 Big Brother aired on television 31/10/23 2100hrs The complaint is in relation to dialogue between 3 house mates A commment made by housemate Dylan re being chosen for eviction, in the Halloween task ,made to contestants Tricia and Noky. Re I thought that you would not vote for black on black, meaning that they being of black skin colouring would save him from being voted. This is a racist statement based on a persons skin colour and I found it very offensive. I believed the programme to be very inclusive and a safe space for all peoples of all backgrounds. I was shocked this had been said and did not ever expect to hear that a persons skin colour should affect their rights .
Desired outcome: Action taken against Dylan re his use of racist language , at least a public warning or at worst removal from the show.
News
ITV news has given wall to wall coverage about the Hamas aggression towards isreal. But there has been very little and muted coverage about the israeli illegal occupation and aggression in Palestine. Similar to the Russian occupation of Ukraine. Over 200 Palestinians, including children, killed Jan to Oct 2023. I would like ITV to please explain why.
Desired outcome: Email reply to: [protected]@gmail.com
Itv competitions
I entered the itv i million pound competition 3/10/2003 ans was given 120 tokens to enter competitions for prizes. I spent 5 tokens on a fit bit competition which went through fine. I then entered to win a hair dryer for 20 tokens answering enid blyton as the correct answer pressed enter well within 10 seconds and was told i was unsuccessful. I reentered for the hair dryer and attempted to enter formula one as the correct answer but the blank spaces on the screen would not take the letters typed in. I have wasted 40 tokens on 2 attempts on competition answers i absolutely knew. I am 70 years old and thought long and hard about spending 12 on a competition and now feel these tokens are a con and are set up not to take your answers which is what happened in my case mrs julie hicks [protected]@gmail.Com
Desired outcome: I would like the tokens returned and your screens set up correctly
Charity adverts
I would like to know why all charity adverts on itv are all aimed at the people who earn the least money and are struggling to keep there heads above water money wise. All your adverts ask things like can you donate £3 or £4 or £5 a week or a month and there are none aimed at the rich people in society as in can you spare £100 or £500 or £1000 pounds a week or a month ect it all seems a bit prejudice to me and a lot of other lower income people like me
Desired outcome: for charities to make adverts for itv aimed at the higher earners in this country not just the poorest
ITV X - the name of the service is written in CAPS
I re subscribed to ITV X 8th September as programmes became available that I wanted to watch
I successfully watched episode 1 of Love and Death only to be told episodes 2-6 are unavailable to me due to an error.
I tried to watched Gordon Gino and Fred’s new series but after selected episode 1 received an error message and it was removed from available programmes.
This issue started on my Apple TV when I was forced to delete the old app and download the new one - since then the programmes are no longer showing in the app on the tv. They show in my phone app but won’t let me play them but are completely missing from my tv. I was just back from Paris and watched programmes successfully there but I doubt that’s impacted it?
Desired outcome: Access to ITVX programmes or I will cancel subscription
Rugby world cup
One of your commentators for the matches is very annoying.
His name is Martin?
He doesn't stop talking during the games and he commentates as though we are listening to the game on a radio. He insists on describing things that are blatantly obvious to us as we watch.
He insists on giving us irrelevant bits of information that have nothing to do with the current games. He informs us (as if we care) about this player's grandfather twice removed or some other equally fact!
Has no one told him less is more and he should keep quiet and allow the expert former Rugby international commentating with him to speak more than himself.
Can someone tell him that "less is more" ALWAYS!
Desired outcome: pass this on so this Martin ? stops spoiling the games
Richard madeley
A interview with the president of guayana on or around 20th September 2023
His body language was very. Rude
He was condescending towards the black president
He is just a tv presenter how dare he speak to a president in that way. Who does he think he is ?
He would not acted that way if it was a president from countries like the USA
Why on earth did you get him to replace piers. Richard madeley was arrogant, patronising, dismissive He mannerisms was so embarrassing get him off the tv
You need to find someone like Ben Shepard or any other upcoming tv presenter
Itv you need a new look
Desired outcome: Replace Richard madeley
ITV sport
Having watch rugby games so far England game there were 4 English in studio and no body from Argentina
Scottish game 2 from Scotland one England and one from South Africa
Welsh game one from England and three from Wales ...and no one from Fiji !
Total disgrace be very ashamed
The commentator was so biased to south Africa during Scotland game hardly any encouragement to Scotland efforts
Desired outcome: English game English commentators Scottish game Scottish commentatorsWelsh game Welsh commentators
