ITV Your game show and the contestants on lingo

07/22/22

My good lady and myself watch your LINGO quiz show all the time and have enjoyed in the most part, today was a similar program to one a few weeks ago, which really upset me, on a family game show, shown in the afternoon where children must likely watch with their parents, if not on there own.

I refer to the blatant showing and promotion of lesbian, and homosexuality, having people who are in this type of relationship on your show in the afternoon is in my opinion NOT in the best taste, the show a few weeks ago { I gin't remember the date} had two young ladies in it and each time they got a word right they hugged and kissed or kissed in a very knowing way, to made it known they lesbians, which was obviously anyway. Today's show was as bad showing two homosexuals rubbing one another hugging and kissing. this on afternoon TV sorry totally unacceptable, and if this okay to let viewers see what next, have standards dropped that much that it does not matter what you show or when, :O: let me say I have nothing against any of the people who like the same sexual partners, however I do dislike it being promoted on afternoon TV, where viewers of a young age might be somewhat swayed to try this, it must be okay it was shown on main stream TV.

Do not get me wrong children will find their own way to express sooner or later, but please in future Tell your Guests to behave if they are of this ilk

A Not TOO Happy Viewer Ron S

ITV Program linking Prince Andrew to paedophilia

To my disgust I've just seen a promomotion for a documentary linking Prince Andrew to paedophilia. May I remind you that even though Jeffrey Epstein is a convicted sex offender he is not a convicted paedophile and there's no evidence I know of to indicate he was interested in pre-pubescent children. Please be factual when you make documentaries especially ones of this nature

Desired outcome: Change the name of the documentary

ITV Advertisement for program regarding prince Andrew, Ghislaine Maxwell and peodophile.

I think it is disgraceful to have a program in the television regarding prince Andrew and a peodophile.
Does nobody think how this must be for the queen and Andrews children.
Absolutely disgusting to put something like that on the television.
Nobody has given a thought to how upsetting and distraught this must be for the queen and Beatrice and Eugenie.
What have we come to if we want things like that on the television and how humiliating.😠😠😠

Epstein isn't even a convicted paedophile, which makes this even worse! It was underage sex and trafficking.

ITV Advertising

As ITV is a populous channel and should represent the country it is being presented in can you please tell me why when 86% of the population is white English we are not equally represented on TV.

Every advert and programme seems to contain at least one and usually much more than one ethnic minority.

This is not the country we live in and whilst I understand that there is a need for diversity on TV I feel that the balance has gone completely out of kilter.

This is in my opinion creating a greater divide and making racial tension inevitable.

I look forward to receiving your response.

Desired outcome: Fait representation

Many of us agree. It wouldn't be so bad if actors of colour could act and/or have distinctive voices, other than London accents.

ITV About the way Kevin told Serbs dad about his death

I would like to point out that seb dad would of already known about his death as when a parent of a living child/Adult is still a life and they been a inquest or murder the I/p interested parties which are living blood relatives are told by the coroner so this did not show the truth of real life if this story line basic on a real life issue then I think it should reflect this in the who story not just parts

Desired outcome: To think a bit more about people who are going through similar in real life

ITV The National Television Awards 2021

They made a rubbish award for serial drama - I only wanted either Emmerdale, Eastenders or Hollyoaks- Coronation Street needs to stop getting awards because I hate this show so much because of the storylines - Joan Collins is very old and she needs to read carefully not just reading it out without looking- I hope you do need to do a 2022 NAtional Television Awards to get coronation street out of here - Coronation Street needs to stop airing and think about it - everybody is upset about their favourite soap because of you- I hope you do not bring coronation street back in in next year's national television awards as they need to go downhill. Thanks a lot ITV.

ITV News tonight.

2 Sept 2021.

Home and hospital carer people. Your story tonight.

You say there are "lists and lists" of people wanting (not needing) attention, whatever that means.

What you do not say is why the taxpayer, i.e. the Government, should pay to meet your goals. That is extreme PC/socialism/re-organise the World, etc. ; Very sad. Once again, typical BBC Bias.

Anyone who suffers should help themselves.

Desired outcome: More entertainment, movies, drama, comedy.

ITV The news

Why can't the news provide decent news that is sensible and beneficial to the general public but instead produce trash that is not only not beneficial to the general public but damn right dangerous, for example the narrative produced by covid 19 pandemic. Also having to listen to trash that somebody has 11 kids and not able to provide social housing, is damn right disgusting to show on national television considering there are families struggling with one or two children and working full time.

ITV Tonight’s Coronation Street

Why has ITV got to jump on the band wagon re Police and the Black Community.
People are sick and tired of of this Woke type of viewing.

It was totally in accurate and his would not have happened in real life. You've just made this up and couldn't have had a police advisor. Both the boys in the car were well behaved and had good reasons for having the car.
The Police would not have dealt with it in the easy you portrayed.

Things go wrong when people want to argue or fight with the Police. Not for any other reason!
What to broadcast was so inaccurate and unnecessary.
ITV should be ashamed. This does nothing for community relations.

Desired outcome: Get things right instead of causing problems.

ITV Football pundit Gary Neville

Post match comment by Gary Neville on his view of the merits of the English manager as opposed to the British PM strayed into politics. Neville's views on the PM on a sports programme is very much out of line. If he wants to make political comments then let him enter politics proper and not expose his biased political opinions during a sports programme. He should be admonished for such behaviour.

Desired outcome: Disciplined

I totally support Gary Neville, he was absolutely right to compare the leadership qualities we see in Gareth Southgate and our present group of ministers, who lie and cheat to get into power

Why on earth do we need four hours of football tonight when the game only lasts 90 minutes. I like football but this is a bit over the top. All we will get is so called experts giving there opinions when it really has no bearing on what is or happening on the field.

ITV UEFA Euro 2020

I am writing to complain about one regular contributor to your EUFA Euro 2020 coverage, Ashley Cole. He is by far the worst football pundit on UK TV. Cole is lacking both enthusiasm for, and the vocabulary relating to his subject. The amount of "er"s and "you know"s peppering his dour analysis is beyond a joke and literally makes me switch off. It is lucky you have Ian Wright and others to take up the slack.

ITV Commentary on euros coverage

Please could you ask the lady - Emma Hayes? - to focus on the game and not constantly offering personal opinions on the players, formations etc whilst the game is in progressing rather than waiting for a break in play. It is distracting from an otherwise good coverage.

There were 5 in our bubble watching the Croatia v Spain game this evening - 3 males, 2 females - and this was a shared opinion of her irritating interjections.

Final comment was ‘thank goodness the England v Germany game tomorrow is on the BBC'.

ITV Itv England Scotland football game commentary

The commentary during the Englandv Scotland match was appalling Why? Way to much "blokisms".Endless chatter from the "experts" from persons giving their own irritating opinions. What the viewers want is one person giving a commentary of the game in a short and professionsl away..they need space to soak up the atmosphere and form their own opinions and NOT to sit there irritated trying to block out the endless chat and trivia.
Thanksyou James Brown

Totally agree. We just want one person who commentates on the match. Certainly discuss the game before, at half time and after the match has finished but please please please get rid of the 'experts' and their ridiculous banter. Majority of people watching have a good knowledge of football. All we want to do is enjoy the match and not have to hit the mute button . Thanks, Steve

ITV Good morning Britain

Katie and Harvey price interview and bad language used again this isn't the first time either. I have a young child who hears this and it's not on no Matter who does the swearing. If it was anyone else they wouldn't get back on the show. I personally think her son Harvey in the previous interviews has been cued by her to swear in which gives her attention.
