new jcpenney prices on clothing (especially women's)
I am looking online for some new clothing, and I am noticing the new pricing model that JCPenney has incorporated. It's insane! I would just like to know when JCP became part of the high-end designer club? And no mayyer what you say, or think, as someone who is a beauty and fashion addict, I happen to follow the markets for what's hot and what's not, and what things cost. Every woman deserves to look beautiful and not have to sell her soul to achieve that. I happen to like many of the new JCP brands, but in no way do I think that they are worth the price that JCP is charging. I am a licensed Cosmetology Instructor/Esthetician/ & MUA, and like I said, I also love fashion. I used to shop JCP all the time until they changed their coupon and pricing models a couple of years ago, and then they changed it back, and that was great. Now, they've increased their prices so much that the regular working person is going to have difficulties affording to shop with you. I really hope that you take this to heart. As much as I like the clothing, I can't see spending that kind of money on unknown designers. Thank you,

I went to store 2108, and I've shop here for years, but an employee from here has a problem with hispano people to shop, will follow you around and stare! I want to shop in peace, I have complained to manager and she is racist as well, her name is Jackie I suggest if she doesn't like her job and working with all Kind's of race then she should not be working in retail where she has to communicate and be friendly with other, she's the complete opposite!
mens jeans
I bought 10 pair of jeans, 5 for my husband and 5 for my teenage son. Within just 3 months they area at the back pocket all have holes, well 8/10 and the 2 that doesn't is because we bought straight not boot cut so my son refuses to wear them. I don't understand why all 8 tore in the same spot in the same way! I could see if they were a year or so old but they aren't! They charge entirely too much for jeans to tear up that fast.I will buy jeans from somewhere else from now on, my husband's wrangler jeans from Walmart has lasted longer than these Arizona ones from J.C. Penney!

I went to pick up my online order 4/22/17 which took me awhile to find someone to assist me, however a very nice, professional assoc 0924 was there very apologetic, very professional. I further went on to do some shopping in store where I met assoc 0247 @ 8:01p very unpleasant, very unprofessional pit bull, definitely not a people's person I was not very happy with her behavior.. I'm a frequent flyer to jcp and the associate was always very pleasant, however associate 0247 definitely have issues she needs to work on her nasty attitude
washer and dryer
Bought a washer and dryer from the jc penney store at Southpark mall in Strongsville ohio. Very excited that they had started selling appliances. Purchased on April 15th with a delivery date of April 20th. Of course never got a call about delivery time. Had to call and they said we can schedule for the 21st. No call today. Had to call them and mow they ssid June 12th...are you f in kidding me I said. They changed to April 25th. No confidence it will be delivered as scheduled. Why would you get in the appliance business without a good game plan on shipment and delivery. I threw out my old washer and dryer on the 19th. I need my new appliances NOW.

I have always gone to this Penny's as long for the last 30 years. During this time they had a back entrance (North ) and this is where I would enter. About 3 weeks ago they closed this entrance permanently and now they have only one entrance and that is through the mall entrance. It is hard to find a place to park there. With the other entrance I would visit the store about every 2 weeks. It was comfortable for me. I went through the only entrance about 3 weeks ago and went to the back where the appliance section was and it was dark and dreary because of the back entrance being blocked off. This is where their Hair Salon is located also. All the other stores like Dillards, Sears, etc. have back entrances. At this time when stores are being forced to close their stores, it seems to me this is a bad decision either by the local manager or the corporate office. I know for certain Penny's won't be seeing me very often.
Please reopen the North entrance.

I placed an online order for four items to be shipped to the store. After a week, JCP sent me an email stating that one product was cancelled. After three weeks, I called customer service to find out when the other items would arrive. I was told that the items were not shown in the system. In order to have the charge reversed on my credit card, I had to drive 1 1/2 hours (I live near a heavily congested metro area) to pick up a receipt! Unbelievable when electronic transmission of this information is available. This is my second bad experience with JCP online - and I will not use it again.
unfair company that bought out old great one!
I have had my JCP credit card for 22 years, made all my payments plus always more then minimum.Then one day I went to use my card and the new company Synroknry said they were taking my credit way and the agent laughed about it.This for starters is nasty and I was told I will never get my card back but I will be forced to pay off what I had on my card, due to a few errors on my credit which I had no control overdue to an accident I had to retire .I want my card back with its full credit limit I have earned now. I am extremely upset at how unprofessional your customer service is at [protected].I placed my order on 4/16/17.On 4/17/17 I rcvd an email that my order has shipped.This morning 4/19/17 I rcvd an email stating JCP is unable to completely fill my order & half of my order will not be available.I called, spoke to Glenda.I explained that the most important part of my order is not being sent & I want to cancel my entire order & receive a full refund. She put me on hold without telling me why, a Supervisor named Sunday came on & I had to explain everything again.She was extremely rude & said that I cannot cancel my order because it's in processing.I asked if it has been shipped yet.She tried talking over me and did not listen until the 3rd time I asked.Finally she said it shipped on the 17th.I tried to tell her per JCP's email the entire order shipped on the 17th.She did not listen & did not let me talk & continued talking over me. I felt like I was talking to a child.Please resolve

4/13/17 I ordered 2 skorts on line for JC Penny. when my order verification was e-mailed to me, I realized it was being shipped to a store in Parma, Ohio and I live in Johnstown, PA. I called the customer service the next morning when I realized the mistake. my order was still pending shipment. the first girl I talked to did not know what to do so she put me on hold and then I was hung up on (after being on hold for an additional 15 minutes). I called back and was told that there was nothing that could be done and I would have to wait until the package arrived in Parma, then I should call customer service back and they would cancel my order. I STILL WANT MY ORDER! it was not shipped out until 4/17 and yet there was no way to make an address change on 4/14. it is now 4/19, the product has not yet arrived in Parma, and I am left hanging! I hope I get my money back before this place closes. and people wonder why they are closing?

I bought my kids Easter dressed from there I threw the receipt away I thought they automatically send e-receipt but they did not so anyway one of the dressed was to small so I was gonna go change for bigger size well the store did not have any size that would fit her in that same dress so I found another one it was like 10 dollars more I paid 34 for the first one & the one I was gonna exchange for was 46 so I went to register the lady was rude from the start but I kindly explained why I was there she said well I don't know what to tell u but u can't exchange that dress I asked for manager & a man came he said sure I could if I have ID well that posses the cashier off bad the manager told her do the exchange & walked off well this cashier gets a call on her cell & answered it she told who ever she was talking to she was tired of dealing with prissy ### white folks that think they can get wat they want I said excuse me but if u replied that to me I work for what I get nothing is free she continued to complain about her job & dealing with stupid people so I started to leave & she hung the phone up with a big grin she said I hate to tell u but without receipt u will get 18 dollars credit that's all we don't give full price u bit my lip I about cursed her out but I smiled said ok I will pay the difference & contact the corporate office about this problem !So I lost over 20 dollars for a smart### that don't like white people or her job I am a single mom of 2 that 20 dollars would have been gas for 4 days or paid half water Bill but instead a rude girl had to show she can be in control & took that money for no reason just for having a bad day please try to inform employees their attitude effects alot of people
progressive bifocal glasses
In February, 2017, I ordered new glasses at the Springfield, MO store. After trying them for a few days, I called to let them know that I had to take them off to be able to read up close items. I explained that I did not believe the bifocal was done, just mono vision. I further explained there was no change from upper and lower lens as there should have been. I took them in to the optical department and was told there was nothing they could do unless I wanted to pay for an upgrade. I had purchased the extra warranty and had paid four times as much, as they claimed my eye end insurance and charged me $96.00 beyond that amount. Now I am stuck with useless glasses. I have informed the company's complaint department, but haven't had a response yet.

I am VERY upset with your closing our Penneys store I Ponca City, OK. I am not the only one either. This Penneys store is the ONLY store in our town where I can buy quality clothing and other merchandise for the whole family. The others (Walmart, Stage, etc.) have clothing but nothing for dressy occasions or for nice, dressy shoes. The other stores here offer nothing for people in plus sizes, 4X for men, or clothing for growing children who are not adult but also not still in childrens clothes.
PLEASE reconsider closing this store -I do NOT want to have to drive to Wichita, Tulsa or OKC for a Penneys store!
store appearance and customer service
On 4/15/17 from approximately 2:30p-3:45p, I visited the East Towne Mall JC Penney store in Madison, Wisconsin, (store 0891) which is the closest store I frequently visit. My first and most important complaint is that one of the individual fitting rooms near the Worthington dress pants had what appesred to be dries smeared blood on the wall. Based on my training and career, I am certain it was blood. That is unacceptable. Being that it was dried, I can only hypothesize it was a minimum of several hours (could be days or more) old. I have photos shpuld you need them. Additionally, during my visit, the store was a bit busy but not overly packed. I was unable to find many apparel items as they were scattered in different areas, especially the shoes and dress pants. I was unable to find an associate in the shoe area to ask questions to and I did not observe associates trying to straighten up so new customers could possibly locate clothing. Lastly, upon checkout, the associate (0600 per my receipt) was very unfriendly, quiet to the point that I could not hear her words, and lacking any type of emotion. She doesn't belong in customer service. Overall, my visit was terrible. I hope that you will address these issues. Thank you.

I visited your store in Burlington NC at Alamance crossing today. I was treated very rudely. I started my shopping at your makeup department after making my choices i wanted to shop elsewhere and did as i passed your makeup department going to the other side of the store one of your sales people stopped me to tell me i am not allowed to leave that area withput paying for the makeup i explain that i was just in the childrens department and wanted to see the ladies clothing. And she said i should not have left withput paying i explained i was still shopping and not done yet. She said we cant let the makeup out of the area because of shoplifting. I understand her what she was saying but there are better ways to explain it to a customer. She could have asked to hold the makeup items for me while i finished my shopping. I felt like she was saying that i was stealing so i decided to put my item back and walked out. And went next door to Belk and got my makeup my facecreams and Easter outfit for my kids.
order process
I am trying to buy a rug in the website for days and all the times says that the order wasn't placed. The last time the amount was pendant in my credit card account and I called the costumer service and they tried to process again. They cancelled that order and tried to do it again. This time didn't went trough because I didn't have the necessary amount in my account BECAUSE it was already a pending one (with the same amount). The attend told me that it was canceled but I will need to wait 2 days to get the money back.
However, I was very patient and quickly did a transfer from my saving account to my account and asked her to try again (since now I had more than the necessary in the bank account).
Now the excuses were vary, "Oh, my system is not working. Oh, my computer stopped. Oh it is very slow."
I waited in the line all the time trying to solve my problem but she asked me to try in the website again or call them again in a couple minutes.
Ok we hang up the phone call and I tried in the website AGAIN. This time a message appeared saying that they couldn't accept my card (even if all the information were right).
Ok, I called again, explained everything AGAIN and this time the person says, " Oh, I can try it again but I can't guarantee that will go trough", she says.
And than I asked, "So, is it possible to have another pendant amount in the account for more 2 days?" and the answer was yes.
What's wrong with this system? I am tired of JC penny!

problem ordering online
On april 5th I attempted to place an order on line. I wanted to use the promo code. I wanted it mailed to another address. I also wanted to use merchandise credit that I had. When it came to the part to put the promo code in for 30% off, I entered 2yousave. When I did that another window popped up that wanted my cell number. After I put that in, it went directly to completed purchase. No 30% off, sending to wrong address and didn't get too use my credit. I tried using the on line chat to change the address right away. I was told it was to late to change it. Was told I should have gotten the 30% off and to try it again. Well, I decided to call and actually talk to someone. I was pretty much told the same thing. But this person gave me a code to get the 30% off and told me to call back in 3 to 5 days. Also said that once it was shipped to contact them and they would try to get the address changed with ups. After that I thought, well maybe I could just cancel the whole order and start over. I tried that, but was told that I couldn't cancel either. It was already being processed. The next day when I checked on line, it showed it was processed. So I called. At that time there was no tracking number so they said they couldn't do anything. Now today, april 8th., I called again and explained my situation with the address, they told me that I have to contact ups. This has been so frustrating. I wanted this item sent to my granddaughter in florida for easter. Now it looks like it is still being delivered to my address in california, no 30% off and when I get it I will have to mail to florida and have to pay shipping again! I don't know how jcpenney computer system works, but something needs to be changed with it because of situations like this. My request would be to get my 30% off and at least be reimbursed for the shipping charge. Since I have to turn around and pay shipping again. I hope that someone can help me. Thank you for your time. I went to the 100 yr celebration at my local penny. The touted all these freebies and coupons. I was one of the first in line. I have health issues and could not run like those passing me by. No one told you where the give aways were so I had to ask other customers where they got their bags. Every time I got to the spot they were out. Why would they advertise and hype up a give away then not even have enough to last 10 min. This was all within 10 min of opening. They even gave you a $10 coupon. Of course it had so many restrictions I could not use it. After waiting in line an hour I walked away empty handed. Thanks JCpenny for getting me excited then making me feel like a loser because I couldn't move fast enough. Oh and thanks for the useless coupon.

I arrived at jcpenny looking for the dog section. I waited for the cashier to finish with the customer she was working with. She asked what I needed. I politely asked where the dog section was and she gave me a nasty look and said "we don't have a dog section, if we do it's only dog beds, what are you looking for" I said "I'm looking for a dog onesie, I saw online that you guys had them instores" she looked at the customer she was helping and said what is she saying ? The lady explained a dog onesie and the cashier just kept giving me a nasty look.
