Hello JCPenney,
Today I was shopping at your store in The Florence Mall. I work with people that have disabilities to help them find important. Sometimes I go with them to your store. I was with one of my clients that had a clothing voucher to use. After we were done shopping, we received guidance from an employee to go to the catalog section to check out...Apparently this is the only place where we can do this. Trudy was the employee working the cash register. Trusy was not friendly to me or my client. She seemed annoyed when we told her that we had a voucher. Trudy said that she couldn't help us but she would call someone that could. She has some trouble getting help. We waited for 10 minutes for a manager to come. I told Trudy that I wish there was a more efficient way to handle this. Jodi looked at me and said "well least we except the vouchers and it would be a lot easier for us" meaning the employees. She also lead on to say that she was a new employee. A few minutes passed on and there was confusion on what was allowed to purchase win this voucher. We seemed to get it straightened out, but again, , Trudy seemed annoyed with us. Trudy kept saying "really!?" in a demeaning way to the cash register. This whole situation made my client cry...someone is someone that suffers from panic disorders. I had to help her calm down. I'm writing to you today because I would like a more efficient process for the vouchers, some more training on customer service and disability sensitivity training for your employees. All people should we treated with dignity and respect. Trudy needs to learn these things.

I placed an order for a swim suit bottom web ID 2883175 and requested a size small based on the reviews. I also told the representative that I needed the item before July as I was going on vacation. The representative told me that I should receive it before then, and so I placed the order. I received an email confirmation and when I reviewed the order and saw that the size was incorrect, I immediately called again. I told the representative what happened and expected to have the order changed with the correct size, but instead was told that I had to place another order with the right size. She then said that once I get the wrong sized order, I can send it back and get a refund. I just do not understand why I should go through such a hassle, if it was not my error. The representative who took the order erroneously put in the order for a size Xtra small instead of a small. I have had this experience before with other vendors and instead of placing another order, the company had the correct order expedited to me, at no expense to me. I hope to hear from your management team in regard to my complaint, as once again, the representative got the size wrong and I should not have to place another order based on her inaccuracy.

I purchased this shoe on May 27, 2017. I wore the shoe for the first time on June 3 to an event. After having the shoe on for only approximately 2 hours I went to take a step the complete strap on the right came completely off. I called JC Penny to explain the situation with the shoe. I was told because I had worn the shoe I could not get a refund nor another pair. I feel this totally unfair considering the shoe was only worn once for no more the 2 hours.

I just received a reward postcard in the mail for $10.00. The reward card is good for 5/1 to 5/14/17. Today's date is June 10th. Boy am I glad I earned this reward! I've received JCP rewards in the past and they were never already expired. This is a thin postcard, but not real small. It might have been stuck somewhere in a mailbag, etc. But that is not my fault or responsibility.
Obviously I want a new reward card that hasn't already expired.

I was recently in JcPenny do some shopping when I asked for help and the employee didn't respond when I asked for a fitting room, she ignored me. Then I noticed she had family going in the fitting room, putting things in their purses and she said nothing. As I was checking out she cashed me out and instead of smiling and greeting me she looked up and down at me and rolled her eyes. Her attitude was disgusting and rude. Her name tag said Val, I've never had bad experience there at all until today.

I recently bought a diamond pendant jewelry for my niece from the JCP website online.

I had called customer care everyday asking for the tracking number and she had no answer.
Ridiculous service for such an expensive gift.
When I called JC penny to complain today all the manager said was sorry for the inconvenience but if your nice received the parcel don't worry!
She had an absolute no care attitude.She blamed me that I had not paid extra for gift wrapping and also said that packets are posted through ups so she can't do much about how the parcel is sent.
Why no name on the parcel? She says you dint mention it while paying...seriously..I am a JCP member and paid 500$ for a Diamond pendant and I had logged into my account while shopping so they couldn't find my name in the billing also? And before speaking to the manager the person from customer care asked me..What are you expecting in return...what did he mean by saying that.Im not a beggar and don't expect money in return when I complain.

Well I got home and was going to wash my socks and come to find out the lady left the dang 'stealing tag' thing on my socks. I needed them tomorrow but ya know its already 8:30 when I discover this and you guys close at 9 and i live to far and have work and school! On April 9, 2017, I ordered a motorized recliner (order number [protected]) from JC Penney. I am having surgery on my right arm on June 13, 2017 to reattached my bicep and my surgeon advised me to get the recliner to sleep in for the first week after my surgery. I am 73 years old and live alone on Social Security and Medicare. Today, June 7, 2017, the chair was delivered with no remote and no power box to plug in. The chair will not move at all. The delivery people said to call JC Penney and they would FedEX the power box and remote to me in time for my surgery. When I called the customer phone number I was told they would send some people to fix my problem but it would not be before my surgery. I advised the customer service agent that I needed this as soon as possible - before June 13 - and she said that wasn't going to happen.
Did I mention that I ordered this chair on April 9th and it is now June 6th? This is the worst thing that has happened since I have been your customer. I am so upset with JC Penney. How could you let this happen and not rush to fix it? I counted on your company. You let me down. I would like the power equipment delivered to me before June 12, 2017.
JC Penney is having someone come to my home to bring the remote and power pack and set it up for me. It will not be in time for my surgery but at least I can use the chair in the next 12 weeks of recovery.

I had a horrible experience with the jewelry sales lady called SANDRA Colombian lady who also refused to give me her last name. Her distinguished attitude and rude comennts towards me because my little boy was crying a little bit towards a ballon that was on the store. Sandra he sales rep had a disrespectful attitude toward me my baby and my mother in law. People like her shouldn't be representing JCP.
furniture order
Placed order in April 2017. Still have not received all pieces. Pieces were scheduled to be delivered 4 different occasions. Damaged my flower garden upon delivery. Delivered damaged furniture with obnoxious delivery men. Called customer service approximately 20 times and it's always not their fault or they can't do anything. Was promised 20% off never received. Promised calls back which I never received. Took multiple days off waiting for furniture that never showed up. I now have 3 of the 4 pieces a month in a half later, and multiple missed delivery dates. Customer service and supervisors are no help. Account has multiple notes on it with individuals' names of people that didn't help at all. Last attempt to make good with JCPenney before I air details on social media. I have been calm, patient, and courteous throughout this entire transaction and all of the story's I've been told and all of the occasions that I've been lied to. Resolution would be greatly appreciated and I'm getting no where with the customer service number. Spoke to Fae, Paris, Jordan, Lashea, Penney, and Mari just to name a few and nobody ever gets back to me although they promise they will. I've been humiliated being told that I was just going to rent the furniture. I have no idea why they would accuse me of that. I've had to live without furniture for weeks when I scheduled the disposal of the old with anticipated delivery of the new. My flower bed has been destroyed as the delivery guy struggled to hand screw in couch legs without predrilled holes. Yeah 1 leg took him an hour and it was crooked. Explained that to JCPenney and they told me a claim department agent would call me within 48 hours which never happened. I've dealt with belligerent and aggressive delivery people that made me sign for an order for couches without legs because they didn't bring a drill to get them in. I was promised the technician would come out next day to screw in the legs from a supervisor at xpo and heard nothing still(over 2 weeks ago). Calling xpo I get nothing but voicemail and leave messages that go into detail with no follow up ever. Every rep that I've spoken to makes me feel as though I'm in the wrong although I've never asked for anything. Again I have been understanding through this process but after a month in a half of phone calls and all that I've gone through I think I deserve a resolution. I work so to have to take multiple days off work with 4 promised deliveries that didn't come, call, or even touch base with me letting me know there was a problem I waited home for nothing for days that I took off of work. I was told the furniture was in the truck, was told it was lost, was told it was damaged, and was lied to by management at xpo when I did get ahold of them. They told me they were looking for it in a Whitehouse, meanwhile JCPenney rep told me the account had notes on it that the furniture was damaged. They spelled my first name wrong(small issue) but after many phone calls never fixed it after i mentioned it each time I called. JCPenney blamed xpo, xpo blamed JCPenney. They were only ever able to find me when I called in using my phone number [protected]. My name is Andrea Parra NOT Amanda. I really hope that I can stop here and get a suitable resolution without going any further.

JCPenney sold me a mattress and said that I had to put it on my car myself? Is there a policy against this poor customer service. Had the store not been closing within the next 10 minutes. I would have returned the mattress and went else where. Not to mention, I have a walking cane due to a bad hip and I am over 50 years old.

I went into sephora a couple nights ago & an employee was helping another customer, she needed a certain foundation for her but we where in the in front of the brand that she needed but the employee didn't even bother to say excuse me or anything and she just looked at me and moved her hand telling me to move out of the way . Hello, I am keeping my name confidential, but I am letting you know I went to a local JCPenney in Salinas, and I was in line. Their was a great associate attending her clients in the Mens register. So this man about 65 years old bought quite few things, He had 3 bags with clothes and shoes, he asked the associate may I leave this bags here please while I go find my wife that I lost her around here on the store, I payed already eather way. The associate very kindly said of course! No probleam go ahead and I will keep your bags here on the back while you come back. So this Manager comes and she told him no. That he can not keep his things here so preferably to take them. The associate said oh so are you going to make him take his things? He already payed hes coming back in a bit, and the manager justine i believe was her name laughed and said yea, once again the associate said if she was sure ? She said yes. So the poor guy carried his bags. Once i got to make a purchase with the cashier I told her if she was the manager? She said yes. And i told her thats a horrible management. Please someone let them know because their should be no way that because they are managers feel like they can get away with anything. I asked the associates name, which I forgot . I believe it was yaritsa and the managers name was justine I believe.

Do not try to offer a different sales promotion that increases your department's sales volume like buy 2 and get the 3rd for 1 cent. Makes no sense when I can order for in-store pick-up at the same location for the lower online sales price. It also makes no sense when I have purchased items at this same location in-store and they have matched/honored the online sales price. Do not try to pick and choose when to honor prices based on the current status of your departments sales volume. This is misleading and confusing to customers. The manager on duty 5/27/17 at 11am would not honor the price and tried to sale me on the different buy 2 get 1 for 1 cent special. The worst customer service experience. I placed an order online and needed to change the pick up person. I have to call internationally and three times while I was in mid sentence two girls hung up on me. It was the customer service # for the pembroke lakes mall all [protected] option 0. I asked for a manager and the girl put the other one as the "manager" and when she couldn't, or more likely didn't know, how to help me she says "I need to transfer you to a manager." wasn't she the "manager?" the whole ordeal was frustrating for something so simple. Jcpenney needs to work on customer service because I will never order online from them again.
