We built a new house 6 years ago and bought all new appliances ( in June 2018 with a 5 year extended warranty ) from Trail Appliances in Calgary, Alberta.
We chose the Jenn-Air line for it's beauty and well known name.
Approx 2 months ago, we received a Stuck key notification on the microwave ( JMC2430D501 Serial # D80512051, then 2 weeks later the same Stuck key notification came up on our wall overn ( JJW3430DS02 Serial # D80708361 ). I called into your service department and they informed me that we would need a new control panel on each unit. These parts are $12-1300. each.
I cannot afford these parts.
I'm disappointed because our warranty had only been expired by 3 months and now I'm being asked to pay $ 2600. + to fix appliances that don't get used very often.
When I search the parts online it appears that there is a large shortage for this part, indicating to me that you have a product issue.
Might you please review my situation. It is very odd to me that I have 2 products, with the same code, come up within 2 weeks of each other and 3 months after my extended warranty expired.
