Liars liars liars.
My husband and I had a flight from Las Vegas to JFK that was delayed from September 8th 1pm to September 9th 2pm. I am pregnant and lived enormous stress because of the unprofessionalism of this ridiculous company and its employees.
Instead of making a pregnant woman wait for hours in the queue to get a voucher for the hotel and food, the employees at the airport told us: that we can find a hotel and pay it ourselves for a maximum of 250$, we can eat for maximum 12$ per meal per person up to 3 times a day, we can take a cab for a maximum of 20$ and we will be compensated an additional 350$ each for the flight. They ensured us that we can pay for these ourselves and we will get reiumbursed once we call Jetblue.
So we did not wait in the queue, we went to bed after waiting for more than 12 hours at the airport.
We call JetBlue now and they tell us we only get reimbursed 25$ each! Are they kidding? What is this ridiculous company? When we called another agent, he literally lied to us because he did not know what to answer and told us we will receive a refund which we never received. We want our reimbursement for everything we paid because of this company's problems and lies. It caused so much stress and anxiety that couldve been avoided.
Desired outcome: Paying us what we are due. 350$ compensation each, 219.22$ for the hotel, 23.02 $ taxi and 21.22 $ for food. We have the receipts as proof.
