Jetline Holidays Vacation Holiday Cancelation with no refund

If it were possible to give negative stars, I would. I booked a vacation package with Jetline Holidays on 24 Sep 2020 and paid $2250.90 in full on 25 Sep 2020. On 16 April 2021, I was informed by phone that my vacation was cancelled and that I could get a voucher for travel later. Per Jetline's own web-site, "If we are constrained by circumstances beyond our control to alter significantly any of the main characteristics of the travel services that make up your package you will have the rights set out below:" And then goes on to list 3 alternatives the last one being "a full refund of all monies you have paid to us". The first two alternatives do not apply. In spite of a total of 15 separate phone calls to multiple representatives of Jetline Holidays, I have been unable to get confirmation in writing of the cancellation or obtain a refund of my payment. The representatives have promised many things none of which included a refund of my payment. They say that the airline cancelled my trip not their company. Well guess what, my contract is with the Jetline Holidays not an airline. I urge everyone to reconsider booking with this company. You will be sorry if any problems arise.

Jetline Holidays Unethical behavior related to COVID trip issues

We booked a trip through Travelzoo for a Jetliner Vacations 5 night all inclusive trip to Barbados. When I was searching how to get a COVID test that would guarantee results within the 72 hours of island arrival, I found that Barbados has a 5 day quarantine policy so we essentially have paid $3100 to fly to Barbados, sit in a hotel room for all 5 days of our trip, then return home. No mention of the policy was made on the website or by the travel agent when we booked the trip. Travelzoo is stating they will give us $1200 back for the hotel but will only refund us a portion ($800) of the flight and that will be with an American Airlines VOUCHER. So essentially we are losing $1000 if we cancel which we tried to do within 24 hours of booking the trip. They have offered to book another trip but we are not available to travel on the date offered. I am a nurse working in a hospital during COVID and vacation time is very difficult to come by. We have called Jetline many, many times and when we actually get a hold of someone, we have gotten nowhere with this complaint. Total rip off. So frustrated. We worked hard for this trip and are being ripped off. After googling Jetline, we found these e]issues are common with vacationers trying to get Jetline refunds.
We would like to get a total refund on our credit card or if that is not possible, get a voucher for the full $1800 Jetline is claiming is being held by the airline company.

Jetline Holidays Unlawful business practice - refund not received

We purchased a vacation package to Greece (June 17th to June 27th) from Jetline Holidays with our first initial deposit of $2, 800 USD made in September 2019 and the second installment of $1, 798 USD made in January 2020. This was a group booking, but we were allowed to make our portion of the payment separately. We withheld making our final payment due to the uncertainty of the worldwide travel ban. We reached out to Jetline to inquire about our package and they were not able to provide any answers. Sure enough, we received notification from Jetline the first week of June to inform us that our trip had been suspended. I reached out to Jetline and inquired about our refund. They kept promising me that they would have a refund for me, but all I received was just an email confirming that our trip has been canceled and we would receive a refund. It has been 5 months now chasing them and not seeing a single dime. I have written emails after emails and also reached out to their CEO Steven. To date we do not have a response. I am not able to attach any of my documents as they are in PDF format. Please let me know how I can email them to you.

Jetline Holidays Refused full refund for package holiday booked with them that they cancelled

Holiday booked 26 th Nov 2019. Booking number 4503037/1 Jetline Holidays
11th May to Corfu 7 nights in a package holiday.
Inc flights, full board & shuttle.
Holiday cost £854 paid. On 13th May we contacted them asking for full refund as they had a breach of contract cancelling the package holiday
They offered £600 credit or cash £535.
This is not acceptable, we want full refund as we didn't break our side of the contract. Jetline Holidays have refused to give a full refund. I asked for cancellation invoice on 13th May and as yet it still has not been received.
Surely its illegal to keep my money for a service they can't fulfil?

Jetline Holidays Package holiday

Hi,

We booked a package holiday with Jetline after seeing it on travel zoo due to start on the 27th April. Due to the pandemic it was of course cancelled and we have been waiting patiently for Jetline to make contact and discuss options.

It would seem like many others, Jetline are offering a credit note for some of the cost but not all? We paid £1, 064 but they are only offering £811, citing unrecoverable costs - are these fees paid to Travel Zoo? Do you support this behaviour?

I appreciate we are in unprecedented times, however it would seem this company is acting unlawfully & could also damage confidence in people using travel zoo, our confidence in using travel zoo in future has been impacted by Jetlines behaviour.

I have reported them to ABTA, CMA & my credit card company. We will never book anything with that company again & will think twice before find deals on travel zoo.

Jetline Holidays Liars, crooks and frauds

Last we talked to these crooks was over a month ago, we were assured that if the airlines and hotels cancelled, we would be refunded. Within a day or two, they did cancel. All of a sudden, we can't get Jetline on the phone. Then we get an email saying they packed up their office and turned off their phones. Now, they are saying the airline won't refund our money. Except I called Turkish Airlines several times and each time they say, "yes, we refunded your money to Jetline Holidays over a month ago. You need to get your refund from them." They are liars, crooks and frauds. Do not use them. Join me in a class-action lawsuit! It's clear from the reviews all over the internet, as well as the comments on their social media posts, they have defrauded hundreds of vacations.

Jetline Holidays Non-communication about almost certain cancellation of holiday to croatia on april 5th 2020.

Booked a holiday for two of us, leaving Dublin on April 5th for 5 nights. Because of the coronavirus it is almost certainly candelled, but this is April 2nd and they have not given us any confirmation that that is the case, and there is no hint of a refund.

Jetline Holidays Food and travel

We stayed at the sumas monteplayer in malgrat de mar from the 4th sept to the 09sept first the coach journey took over 3hrs should have been 40 mins didn't drop us at hotel had to look for it. The food for a 4*s hotel was always cold the show cooking well chicken wings, hamburgers amongst other dishes that is not show cooking we were hungry most of the time. The breakfast was not hot either we were not told on the web site that a train runs in front of our room all day and evening and is very noisy also not beach front had to go to the under pass to get to it. Please reply to this email as the cost of this hotel is not worth the money as we are pensioners and cannot afford to waste money mr & mrs heal

Jetline Holidays they do price frauding

Hi whosoever go for deals through t zoo please be aware of company called "JET LINE TRAVEL" they got ridiculous customer service and i find out they are doing business of making us fool from India and they have many names as well ..how they work what i find out is they will give you wrong flights which doest not exist or else give you a flight which is too expensive just to make us realize that timings are bad and we are losing nights and trying to get more money from us .on top of that they charge you booking fee by saying admin fee..so if you want a good holiday don't go with them they are trying to ripped us by sitting in India and i don't understand why just to earn money this travel-zoo people give them a business even though after knowing they are dealing from india and thats too with the planing of ripping us off .

and they talk in their language about ripping us off as i come to know because one of friend coming with us was Indian and he found that the guys from India are talking [censored] about us as well as abusing ..so my job to share my experience with you all .

I wouldnt bother with jetline ever. I booked a holiday to Greece through and asked if we could pay extra and fly from Bournemouth rather than gatwick with tui, they changed our flight accordingly and said that everything was all booked ok. However when I later tried to book my seat for my sister and I as well as luggage I could not get in. I went to tui rep and they confirmed our flight, when we got to the airport we had to pay £140 each way as no baggage was checked in. Jetline said on the co formation letter there was no luggage booked and they only charge for the cost of the ticket, however we received no e ticket to say if we had to pay for luggage and at no point on the phone call when booking did anyone ask if e were taking luggage. I am disgusted at their attitude and tui could not help us even though if you book in your luggage through tui there is not charge for luggage u dear 15kg. I will be taking the matter further as I feel the service was not adequately explained, my advice is DONT BOOK WITH JETLINE

Jetline Holidays travel package

Do not book with these guys.

Non-existent customer service.

Rushed, indecipherable call from a sales person (not calling at the agreed time either) leading to confused information about what turned out to be rubbish flights (middle of night/four different airports to get from uk to germany when I had requested daytime hours due to travelling alone with small child) leading to an overpriced, non-amendable holiday you didn't want.

When you try to speak to someone about this they offer no alternative or indeed human empathy.

Part of this holiday booked through groupon who did refund their part.
Bargain late holidays/jetline refused to budge.

I am now not travelling with them.

Jetline Holidays Customer service - bunch of liars! Big ### con

Do not be tempted to book with this company they are nothing but blatant liars they promise you the earth but deliver you nothing worth having. They allocated us an 18-30 hotel and I am a parent with 2 small children. The reviews for the hotel are shocking rats, drunken people getting naked in the corridors, fights in the dinning hall, dirty pool and dirty rooms are just the tip of the iceberg... They refused to change us hotels unless we paid after been promised a hotel with kids entertainment and a kids club! Definitely not this hotel. The people in customer services are terrible they basically call you a liar all the time and are trying to get more money out of you for their mistakes. They don't care about customer service in the slightest. Do not be conned by this company it will just end up in tears. I write this review and I haven't even travelled yet! I am dreading the holiday they refused to give me a refund and then had the cheek to try and charge me for allocated seating so I could be sat with my 4 and 12 year old. Stay well clear of this company.

Jetline Holidays Bait and switch

Please slam your fingers in a car door if you are considering using the Icelollyholidays website and come across this company. Ticket to Majorca listed at 151 pp half board, Hotel that we had stayed in before, 5 night trip, in April 2016 Suddenly, they say, "Oh by the way there is a 20 pound per person booking fee". Why, do you need a booking fee for an emailed files to appear in your inbox ? Grumble grumble, well it's still a cheapie holiday, the price isn't bad, 40 quid is not all that much. So like a fool I book my holiday with Jetlineholiday. They call me back up an hour later, sorry but our promotional deal on seats on Easyjet is filled, we are going to have to book with Easyjet directly. Yes, now suddenly, I'm paying yet another 30 quid per ticket. I would have told them to stuff it there, but my friends 40 miles away were going to Majorca with us, so I bit the bullet and paid extra for the airline seats for my wife and I. After I got off the phone with the Jet RIPOFF lineholiday, I called my friend that had ripped him off for over 69 pounds more than me ! Like I said, use a hammer on your fingers, before you phone this company with your cellphone for a holiday ! In the States this company would be facing criminal charges for advertising a product for one price, then lying about "sudden" extras. Yeah, I learned my lesson. Learn from my mistakes people, don't let this company rip you off like it did us. Date of incident- December 29th 2015 What desirable resolution would I like to receive ? My 100 pounds back these thieves took by misrepresentation.

Jetline Holidays Customer service

Jetline holidays the worst company. I have booked many holidays on the Internet and never had a problem until I used jetline. When booking they added nearly £200 at the end of the call I argued this point and they took the money back off. When I went to online book in could not do this, so rang them they assured me they had done it for me. I did not believe them so rang the airline myself I was not booked in and I had been given the wrong reference number. When I went to airport they charged me for 2 bags as they said I had not paid for bags. When I got home I rang jetline after several calls they refused to give me the money back . I was told when the £200 was took off so were the 2 bags, I said to them that " nobody had mentioned that to me" they replied if " you were unsure you should of asked". They offered to play the part of the conversation I accepted the deal. I requested a copy all of the conversation. They wanted to charge me for this, I emailed the directors two times with no response. The actual holiday was fine and I would of used this company again if it had not been for their terrible customer service

Jetline Holidays Gangsters

Please please please do not use this company. We have booked 2 weeks in bitez 6th october 2015 - 20 october with these charlatans. We booked 4 months ago..Making full payment. We received an email 2 weeks ago to say that our hotel was closed for the season. We were offered a replacement hotel in a different resort 15 miles away of a far lesser quality. We refused and have had nothing but problems since. All we have asked for was an equal quality hotel ideally in the same resort or a better quality hotel that we would pay extra for.. If this wasn't possible a hotel of equal quality in a nearby resort.. We are still waiting for this. We were promised that things would be resolved 7 days ago. We have had to make ... So far...27 phone calls to chase thing up (That is when we finally get through to them) angela in customer services has broken promise after promise to resolve things. Ryan (The supervisor) again has not returned calls. Finally after getting through to them they have said "we are waiting on our supplier getting back to us" 14 days later! Tonight after a heated discussion i was told i could have my hotel booking money back and to sort it out myself ! I urge all not to use this company... I wish i had read the reviews before picking up the phone...Jetline travel...Please do not use them !

Jetline Holidays Blatant liars & rip-off mechants

I purchased two travel voucher from Wowcher for a 3 night stay in Paris. Each voucher was 179 pounds & included Hotel & return flights. When I redeemed this, I was told a lot of what turned out to be lies especially that I needed to upgrade to a more suitable flight that 'just came up'. It took over 30 minutes to 'redeem' the Wowcher vouchers during which time it was made out that they where doing me a big favour regarding flight times. When the travel details come thru', I checked on the web & within 5 minutes, found that I could have booked the 459 pounds (358 vouchers + 101 special flight) Jetline Travel holiday for a total of 282 pounds. The flights that cost an extra 101 pounds where always available. So for a total of 123 pounds for return flights & the 2 star Hotel in Paris for 159 pounds booking on the web, Jetline charged 459 pounds. A blatant rip-off of 177 pounds and total undervalue of the original 358 pounds special voucher package that they placed on Wowcher.
No response to my emails, etc. I would like a total refund and an apology for the appalling treatment.

I strongly advise people to not use them. A bad reflection on Wowcher as well.

Thank you for your email. I apologise that your research has turned up an alternative cost of the deal.
Wowcher simply advertise this package on behalf of the merchant, at no point do we claim to be the cheapest. We offer a discount on the normal price through that particular merchant.

I'm going to make this as short as possible, if possible book elsewhere!

Their Customer Service is non-existent, send them a (complaint) Fax or e-mail and you will NOT receive a reply, call them [protected] - cheaper than their 0870 numbers) and all you will get is "... give me your telephone number and we'll call you back", they will NOT call you back! I called four times a day for almost a week, got the same response (i.e. call you back), they are a bunch of lazy immigrants (oh, and it seems everybody who works there is either a Manager or a Director, you know the type of place, where they even call the muppets Managers!).

If you want a cheap holiday, get your accommodation from Jetline (if you're really desperate) and book your own EasyJet flights (Jetline increase their total package price if they book your flights, check for yourselves on their site, an 800 holiday can be up to 200 cheaper if you book your own flights).

Also, make sure your booking is 110% accurate, if people in your party decide last minute they can't go (hospital appointment), and you need to change a name on the flights/accommodation, get that big credit card out 'cause your really really going to need it!

All-in-all 80% of the people I spoke to were non-trustworthy, ignorant, couldn't-care-less liars! If you've already booked and reading this, you're already bitten!

This company has been a terrible service - they changed my hotel 10 days prior to me arriving in Iceland. They emailed me and the email went to my junk. I saw it when I landed in Iceland. They swapped my hotel from a 3 star to a 2 star.. and haven’t refunded me. They say it’s a 3 star but I can see online it is a 2 star.

We have put a deposit for £150 per person for a holiday in Iceland on 17th March just received airport pick up for 29 th august 2022

Tried to call but no answer they said they would call back et nothing

Then I have seen the reviews definitely not going with a company that can’t get the basics correct

I'm hoping all that has complained about jetline holiday to send your grievances to ABTA. Jetline holidays should not be aloud to trade
I got duped out of more money then I needed to spend. I was told I need to pay an extra £60ew pp to check in our bags and an extra £25 ew pp for inflight meals (the flight was long haul) ITS FREE. I also was duped out of paying an extra £50 each to up grade my room only to include breakfast every day of our stay which I thought was quite a good deal but when I received my hotel voucher it only said room only. I called jetline holidays thinking they may have made a mistake but was told that offer was never given to me and I must of miss heard the travel advisor. I asked why would I pay an extra £100 for. Very frustrating anyway the company wasn't very helpful ask to speak to management he wouldn't take my calls or reply to my emails.
Long story short I emailed ABTA explained how I was miss sold my holiday as soon as I sent the email to ABTA the manager of jetline holiday finally contacted me he had no choice put refund me all the additional extras I had payed for. Admittedly it took a lot of emails and phone calls but worth it why should a company getaway with deceiving customers this company needs to lose its tranding licence worst company I've ever had to deal with

I will keep it simple. DO NOT BOOK ANY HOLIDAY WITH THIS COMPANY. They do not listen, they take your money, and then manage to cheat you of more. Their practices may be legal, but their service and customer care is rubbish. Would not recommend them to travel to hell on my death bed.

I bought a Groupon to go to Amsterdam next January and haven't had a single problem so far. The dates I wanted were all booked up and I couldn't go on the other available dates due to exams so at a charge of only 29 euro each extra for myself and my boyfriend we got a different hotel and far better flights, and when they called me back today for me to pay the extra they hadn't changed the price at all. The woman I was speaking to was lovely as well so I can't complain. Just waiting for all my details to arrive and that's that. But after reading everything here I think I'll contact the hotel and the airline just to make sure.

I called these guys on my birthday to book a holiday. As others have said, they bumped up the price which I was expecting, but the price worked out over double what was advertised. I was also told they could no longer get the flight as advertised and that the flight they have found instead they would do at half price as a good will gesture. We were told it would be an additional £88 and we had until May to pay this. We then got our holiday documents through, showing an outstanding balance of £196. When I called "Aaron" (which clearly isn't his real name) he denied ever saying this and fobbed me of to customer services. I explained the situation and requested a call back, nothing. Two days later my boyfriend called and asked for the call to be listened to as "Aaron" was still denying saying this would be half price. They phoned back and told my boyfriend that they had listened to the call and we were never told £88. This is a complete lie! I was very angry at this and asked which call they listened to, as we had three separate calls with "Aaron" who had to keep calling us back. Again no response. We now have three weeks to pay an additional near on £200, which we cannot afford especially after them doubling the price of the holiday. They use the fact they have strong Indian accents to mask what they are really saying and add stuff on knowing you cant understand what they are saying. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND LIARS and once they haver your money they couldn't care less about any issues. We have not had a holiday for five years and have saved and worked very hard to go on holiday this year, we are now understandably dubious about the holiday itself and wouldn't be surprised if this is a complete disaster. If "Aaron" is reading this, I hope you sleep well at night knowing you rip people off and lie for a living.

I have been dealing with Jetline for 4 months now. They are yet to resolve my complaint. I paid for a break away with hotel and return flights. What I got was a total nightmare from start to finish! A month before I was in contact with them regarding name changes as they spelled all the names wrong! I sent 2 emails with the names and spelled them over the phone and still got them wrong. When we arrived in our hotel, they had given us the wrong check in times and they always spelled our names wrong so how was I to give proof of my name. Then to top it all off, we were trying to check in for our return flight which we had paid for and surprise surprise they did not change our names for our returning flight! How can a company be so incapable of doing that! If you need to change your name for flights going out I'm sure you need it for returning. That wasn't even the best bit! They had our flights coming home from a different airport with was 80km away from the city we were staying in. It would have cost over €1000 to change all there mistakes so it worked out cheaper to book new flights but that meant we had to stay in the airport for the night as we were given no choice. This was a trip away for my mams 60th Birthday and she got one to remember! They ruined that and that is something that money can not change. Now they feel that they have the right to not listen to my complaint as it has been going on for 4 months. Deal with it within 28 days. WHAT A JOKE! Groupon should not advertise them anymore if they can not do a deal right!

I thought I booked a holiday to Ireland for 4 people on the 28/12/14, was told confirmation will be sent as they were the last seats on the flight. As of today we had heard nothing, called and was told that they had no information about the booking and that I should check our bank account to see if the money had been taken. Also told that they never received a call from my telephone number on the 28th for a booking - hopefully no money has been taken as they do not know what they are doing - you have to repeat yourself at least 3 times for what you want - never ever have I experience something like this when trying to book something over the telephone - DO NOT USE - if I had read the feedback earlier I would not have even called, what a waste of my time and telephone calls - but will not try to call Adam to complain about the service I have not had this will be the umpteem telephone call.
