Do Not use Opodo
Booked a holiday in June 2023 and cancelled the same day. I booked the same holiday with someone else. Apparently I clicked a box to subscribe to a discounted rate. I've looked through emails. I don't see anything to say i subscribed to this offer. It seems even with the discount it must have been more expensive than elsewhere, since i booked elsewhere and travelled. It came to my attention because i was looking through my credit card transactions today. I don't use it often. 4 in 12 months.
I noticed i received a auto renewal transaction in July 2024. There is no way to cancel from there website. You have to phone them to do so. I have the email about cancellation of subscription for 2025 agreed on the phone today, so they have my email. I don't have anything about the subscription being set up in 2023 or to auto renew in 2024. Dodgy!
Poor service
In May 2024 I booked 4 x multiple destination flights with Opodo. Two of the flights were never confirmed.
Opodo did not contact me to sort out the issue. Opodo kept my money.
When I contacted Opodo at the beginning of August they confirmed the flights were not confirmed and did not try to re-book them.
I re-booked the flights very easily with Expedia and received immediate confirmation.
I asked Opodo to cancel the flights they failed to boo and refund my money. Opodo said they would contact me within 24 hours.
Opodo have not contacted me and have not returned my money/.
I strongly advise everyone not to trust this company. You stand a good chance of having your holiday ruined and your money STOLEN!
Just not contactable - Opodo - worst travel website
I booked DXB MUM and have flight early morning tomorrow. The Airline reference number provided by Opodo is not valid on SpiceJet airline website. They book using group deals and donot share proper PNR details. This will surely create problem for check in at the airport. Opodo chat is useless and the contact numbers provided are wrong. There is no way to contact Opodo for help.
Recommendation: Please avoid using Opodo in quest of low airfare.

Opodo Prime Membership
I booked a flight via Opodo online. I downloaded the App. I had no idea regarding any consent to being a Prime member. I received an email stating that I had saved €22 as a Prime member. As I had no idea of consenting to be a Prime member I did not react. I then received another email stating that my membership has been extended and, most worrying, Opodo has taken €99,00 out of my account. I have never agreed to any direct debit or SEPA or any authorisation that money can be automatically deducted from my account by this company. I have telephoned them and they stated I can cancel my membership but will not receive a refund. I can accept the increase of €22,00 for the flight as being a non Prime member but I cannot accept being an automatic Prime member or Opodo automatically deducting anything from my bank account.

Opodo Prime
Dear Opodo,
In 2022 I got a Opodo Prime membership. I cancelled it before two weeks had passed. For some reason that did not go through, and 1 year later I was charged a total of €137,96. I cancelled it again, and remember doing so. Today, another €84,36 has been charged for another year of Opodo Prime.
I cancelled it AGAIN today, and remember every screen I saw. You never sent me a confirmation by e-mail, also not today after cancelling. As I have never once used Opodo Prime, and have now cancelled it 3 times yet kept getting charged, I will ask you to refund me the total amount of €222,32.
I am now on hold with your customer service for the past 25 minutes, costing me another €1 per minute (outside EU).
Please refund my subscription costs as I have never used it and cancelled three times by now.

I have waited for 30 minutes on hold at €1 per minute. I ended the call because there is no estimated waiting time and the costs are getting out of hand. This is outrageous!

We recently had a deeply disappointing experience with IC Hotel in Antalya and the booking site Opodo. We booked our stay through Opodo from Europe, but when we arrived, we were denied entry simply because we were Iranian. This left us stranded with two young children, forcing us to stay outside for an entire day. Eventually, we had to book another hotel of lower quality at a higher price just to have a place to stay.
To make matters worse, neither IC Hotel nor Opodo is taking responsibility. Both companies are passing the blame back and forth, refusing to help or refund our money. This level of discrimination, neglect, and lack of accountability towards customers is incredibly disappointing.
If you’re considering booking with these companies, please be cautious. No family should have to endure such a negative experience.”

I have attempted to get in touch with Management in relation to an issue which has been going on for 3 weeks. I booked flights Edinburgh to London, which I had to change due to circumstances out with my control. The change process took 2 hours on chat and additionally 2 telephone calls, I have sent in a transcription of the chat which is full of duplications and errors. The calls were to approve monies which I had already approved. I have since requested over the last three weeks an amended invoice for the increased fare and I have yet to receive this, I keep getting the same email which says please wait a few more days, and each time it is resent it is the same original amount. I am therefore led to believe that the additional charges are fraudulent and I am seeking reimbursement of them from Opodo. £141 + £62, I require these to be refunded to me by return.

Desired outcome: Return of the monies which have not been evidenced to me on an invoice, an apology for the amount of my time and a confirmation that the systems and processes of Opodo are not as bad as they appear.

i was charge for a yearly subscription with out any warning, i called straight away to be told its NO REFUNDABLE, i explained that i am going through a bit of a hard time finically at the moment and the gave me an offer of £25.00 and a flight voucher for £90.00 to be used with in a year, i explained that i was not able to book a flight as cannot afford to go away at the moment and was told a manager would call me but never happened.

I had booked and paid for this ticket which includes premium tickets from Frankfirt to Johannesburg and also johannesburg back to frankfurt.
When i get my lufthansa ticket it only says premium economy back to frankfurt from johannesburg.
Guys at customer service say soory this was a spelling mistake on the frankfurk to johannesburg and it really is economy. but this is not what i booked and i have been charged a lot of money to fly now to south africa. My confirmation email from opodo clearly tells me frankfurt to johannesburg is premium economy, being told its a spelling mistake is really an easy way out.

In May 2022 I took out Opodo's fee one year trial which ended in May 2023. Unfortunately I wasn't quick enough to cancel the auto-renew subscription so I was charged £69.99 for the year 23/24 which is my fault. As soon as I realised, I cancelled the subscription and received an email dated 1st June 2023 to say the account had been deactivated. Imagine my shock when they took another £69.99 on 27th May 2024 for the year 24/25! A year after I cancelled the subscription! On March 28th I was billed £59.99 for some opodo membership. I believe I was billed last year as well. I have never used this service, have no recollection of signing up to it and have no need for it. I saw it last year, but cold not find who/ what the money was taken from and stopped searching and then missed it in my admin.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I've signed in my Opodo account to book a flight in 3rd Mar 2024, I was offered 'Free Prime Trial' thus have got discount a little more than £2 compare to other website, even though Opodo website claiming the discount was more than £62.
However, I got email in 4th Mar, claiming I've had used Opodo free prime trial before, thus I'm not qualified for its free trial anymore, so I've been charged for £69.99 for the Prime service, the price has been reduced to £44.99 after my complaint to the agent in Opodo.
This is completely ridiculous and I believe it's a cheating on Opodo side, since I've logged in with my email, at least it's proving the design fault in Opodo website.
I want my Opodo Prime account be cancelled and get total refund.

Unauthorised charges
I want to complain about Opodo - they have charged me for a membership that I do not want or need, and are now saying that I should have cancelled the membership before the renewal date, and not on the renewal date and I cannot get a refund. The email does not detail this and in fact states that 'Your paid membership will start on 03-04-2024 at £ 59.99/year. Cancel anytime online or call [protected]. You can only ever have one Prime free trial.'
It does not state that they will deduct on the date of renewal and you cannot get a refund. When I called they offered me a £90 voucher for a flight, which I do not want or need, I just want the £59.99 refunded.

Booked a flight through them, not realising that they are a broker - I thought it was like a Skyscanner or Trivago type booking. Then received an email to say they have deducted £59.99 for a year's subscription, and when I called, they said it was in their terms and conditions that they do not do refunds!
Shocking - will never use them again, and find their business model underhand and pretty poor service.

I have been charged twice for the service, once from my Westpac Account, and again from UK Santander Account (see attached images). This abuse needs to be stamped out. I want my membership terminated refunded to both accounts. The service provided has inflated prices that do not reflect reality. There is no email or contact details other than from the UK. When you are overseas this does not help. THIS IS FRAUD!

Refund
I booked a flight from Detroit to Faro. The flight had to be cancelled due to medical reasons. I paid the cancellation fee and have yet to receive my refund from you. This has been ongoing now for 6 weeks and the agent I am dealing with keeps giving weak excuses. He in my view is unreliable and if this is not resolved at the soonest opportunity I will take action to resolve this issue and go to the ombudsman. I will also put reviews on as many websites as possible. Expedia, trip adviser etc.
