First off, from what i can tell the quality of work done seems to be of high quality.

The complaints i have are as following:

The job was suppose to be completed in the spring. Finally at the end of spring i had to hunt John down who seemed to forget who i was

The job cost more than the insurance adjustment. He was able to negotiate the extra money however the amount was inaccurate leaving me with $250 out of pocket.

John Haley inspected our roof at 7508 Upton Ave S. Richfield MN prior to the purchase of our home. He provided an estimate of $4, 600.00 which we never signed, nor had the work completed prior to the sale of that home July 2017.
Our realtor (and best friend) dispersed her commission through the title company for the repairs that were needed on the Upton house. At closing we received the checks for repairs made out to the contractors. We closed in Dec and proceeded to have some of the work done and dispersed 2 of the 3 checks for work completed. Since it was Dec it was advised by John Haley, the roofer, to not have the work done in cold weather. Two years passed and we forgot about the roof. Title One wanted to close their books and they reissued the check directly to Haley Roofing and they cashed it and never did the work (work was not done so original check, was still in our possession that we received at closing.

We have asked John Haley for the refund and he claimed he did not get a check. We provided him the deposited check attached to this document. Next he claimed he did the work. We asked him to come and look at the house with the permission of the new owners and see he did not do the work. He refused to do that as well. Our last conversation over the 4 months, he suggested we split the money.
In summary we never signed anything to have the work done, John Haley did not do the work, he was accidentally paid the money by title one, without any proof of work completed and John Haley will not refund the money for work he never completed.
