I wrote 3 letters to ***, President and CEO of *** Health in ***, ** about my bad experiences after ***
I wrote 3 letters to ***, President and CEO of *** Health in ***, *** about my bad experiences after ***, my main doctor for *** December . The problems were about No Return Calls from *** (JMH Alamo Manager), Annual Physical Appointment Canceled and Rescheduled with Short Notice, and Billed $10 Copay After Annual Physical. Even though I asked for a response from the President in 3 letters, I never got a response from him. I got a letter from ***, Coordinator for Ambulatory Patient *** but I had concerns about her letter that I talked about in a second letter to ***. In her letter dated April 13, 2022, she said "As a gesture of goodwill, we will be waiving the copay associated with our 2/23/2022 visit. The Practice Manager has requested a write-off for this date of service. Please allow *** days for this to be approved and for this to be process to your account". As of today's date, May 26, the $10 copay is still showing due on my *** Health account. I have attached the 3 letters I wrote to *** and the letter I got from ***.
I got billed for 2 phone visits with a nurse practitioner *** in April 2023
I got billed for 2 phone visits with a nurse practitioner *** in April 2023. I called her office on April 10, 2023 to ask why a lab wasn't ordered, even though she said she would order it in January 2023. The office staff said they would message her and call me back. They called me back a few hours later and said I needed an appointment with her to get the labs ordered. I asked if there would be a charge for the phone appointment since she didn't help last time I saw her in person. Anyway, somehow I ended up having a video visit with *** and in the end, she didn't address my concerns the way I wanted. She was really rude and talked down to me. She kept complaining that she doesn't have a medical degree, didn't go to school, and doesn't know how to help me. She said my issues are too complicated because I have pre-existing conditions and other problems. I would like to dispute the charges for the telehealth visits in April because she was so rude, condescending, and unhelpful. Also, I can't even do the labs because I'm changing insurances because of this hospital's services.
I was in the hospital on 12/3 and got admitted
I was in the hospital on 12/3 and got admitted. Two nurses took my two wallets and a pocket knife. I didn't give them my pack that had $305 and my phone. The nurses stole my wallet and wrote on the form that I refused the things I actually refused, but they didn't list the items I gave them. I left against the doctor's orders and the person who helped me downstairs didn't give me any personal items like I usually get when I leave. I only remembered when my daughter and I were going to Texas and she asked for my ID to get on the plane. I realized I had given it to the nurses. I even counted the one dollar bills before handing them to the nurses. They never reported it. There was a camera in my room and a nurse said they don't record and they were only there for COVID. I asked them to check the cameras because if the room cameras don't work, they should be able to see the nurses leaving with items on December 3rd. Austin's assistant was passive-aggressive and dismissive about my issue and told me I signed for my items, even though I didn't and they don't have a matching signature or any signature from me. We described my items to ***, but she couldn't find them in either safe. She passed it to ***, who supposedly did an in-depth investigation, but as of 12/13, we haven't heard anything from anyone. Now when we call, they dismiss my concerns about my items. I believe the hospital has cameras to find out who took my things but refuses to do the work and insists that I signed for them.
