request for help about solving the problem of a non working dishwasher
Just Answer UK claim to provide help to resolve problems involving all manner of different things. In my case a faulty dishwasher. I wanted to know about how to go on about repairing it myself. Just Answer UK required a fee of £20 which I thought sounded reasonable if it helped resolve the problem. Unfortunately, after I'd paid my £20 by debit card, their website informed me that I had signed up to pay £29 per month for an ongoing service which I do not want or need and which I had not requested. On checking my account with my bank I found that I cannot cancel the £20 already paid.
I submitted my question to Just Answer UK about my faulty dishwasher and was advised to expect a response in approximately 8 minutes. That was at 09.30 this morning and to date I have received no response other than to acknowledge receipt of my question. This is a scam

charges I did not agree to
On the 17th July I clock on to your web site looking for answers regarding a problem I was having with my "Windows Live Mail" program. I am happy to pay to initial charge of $5 but at "No Stage" did I agree to the $152.78 charges that have appeared on my credit card including membership of $73, tech help of $54 and more help of $20.78. I pulled out of your web site with "No Answer" and "No Help" from your web site.
Will you please reverse these transactions that you have charged my credit card.

credit card debit for membership
Dear Sirs,
Last April I approached you with a question concerning the audio system of a 2012 Grand Cherokkee, got an answer, and paid (by a credit card) the sum of 111 Israeli Shekels.
To my surprise, I saw on my credit card monthly report another debit of 154 Israeli shekels, dated 5/25, for membership.
I never asked for a membership, nor did I sighn for one.
Please notify the credit card company to cancel this sum - and erase my name from your list.
Thank you

online service, that is lack of service.
This morning tried your service online for help on possible repair of my Pioneer VSX 321-K-P multi channel receiver. Paid your $5.00 deposit plus the $31. Your recommendations were to unplug the speaker wires, the cables to the other electronics and try again, which I had already done. Since that did not work, you suggest I call a Pioneer repair service center. That is what I thought I was speaking to with JustAnswer. This service sucks.

unauthorized charges to my visa card!
I needed help with my computer, so I called, June 2, 2017. I was told there was $5. fee, so I accepted .That amount, however, if I was not satisfied with the answer they would connect to someone with more answers for $48. I replied, I could not afford that, and left very unsatisfied. Today, on July 4th, I found our that you not only took the $5. but also the $48, and you did nothing for me. I am contacting my bank in the morning as I want my money of $48. returned to me promptly. I am a senior and I live on a fixed income, which is way below poverty limits! I really do not need to be taken advantage of, and I really feel that you pried on an elderly person, and did nothing for me.

this provider charges me monthly membersghip fee when I paid for a one of advice
I bought a one off piece of IT advice from a Company called JustAnswer.
I paid what looked like a fixed fee for limited advice and paid upfront.
Since then, Just Answer bills my credit card $65 per month! I just noticed this. To the best of my knowledge, I only contracted to get one bit of specific advice and not agree a monthly charge. on my credit card they show a member number [protected]

I called JustAnswer for a solution I was having with my computer. I paid an upfront amount and they fixed my problem. I just now found out that they have charged my bank account for another amount. I did not sign up for a monthly membership fee. I want my money refunded!
a plum out rip off!! called thinking I had got in contact with microsoft!!
Like I have mentioned on the subject line, I was having trouble with my Microsoft Outlook account and my email account. Well, I was ask for a $5.00 refundable amount and progressed to give some credit card info for the $5.00 charge all of this time I was getting suspicious what the hell was going on. Then I was asked to change my password on my email account and was asked to log in. My computer would not recognized my password, so they had my phone number and I was expecting a call to be able to help me. Well, after about 20 minutes, I checked my bank account and found out that at first I was charged the $5.00 fee and a $37.00 fee for nothing at all, let me say that JUST one more time $42.00 for NOTHING ! I looked up Just Answers Customer services Phone number and at first got a fast busy signal and thought a false number but called it again an got a real person the next time. Can't remember her name as I was so very pissed off. In the long run she was able to pull up the information and joined the 2 accounts into one the $5.00 total and the $37.00 total making the total $42.00. Said that she had cancelled the charges and they would fall my account in 2-3 days. If not then I will find out where this place is and WILL drive there and then we will see MY ANSWER is to this F--king mess will be. It will not be nice at all. !

scam
I am locked out of my Microsoft account. I went to the internet and attempted to contact them. Justanswers, came up. I spoke with the man via the computer. The cost would be $5.00. Within 2 minutes, my phone rang. It was from the FRAUD department. They asked me if I had authorized a $31.00 charge. I told them no. They then asked me if I had authorized a $40.00 charge, again, I told them, no. I explained that I had only authorized a $5.00 charge, which they did not count. The fraud department told me it was a scam, and they would be sending me new cards. When I took a close look at their advertisement, it said, that they are not associated with Microsoft. Please be careful. They are not a legitimate company.

for computer questions
Had Microsoft answers so they said. They wanted pay so they charged credit card $37.00..then flooded advertising at me. I asked them to stop and refund my money did not want a membership nor an avalanche of advertising ...don't know if the amount taken included a membership? Never got an answer for my computer problem...couldn't tell if I had an unwanted membership. They said "Microsoft answers"...must have been fake. When I insisted on a refund or cancel immediately...THEY PITCHED AN ATTORNEY AT ME...what? I don't want to pay an attorney? Just cancel the whole thing...they didn't...what a scam. HELP! Can the internet be cleaned up from crooks? You cannot reply to these people via email...I found out?

tech support
I've just checked my credit card statement to find that JA has taken double the payment when they didn't even resolve the issue I contacted them for. I reluctantly wrote off the first $51 because I felt they would not refund me, and I was too ill to pursue it, but now I discover that they have dipped into my account again and taken a further $51. It's a good job I cancelled that card.
When attempting to address this directly I am asked to pay more money to get advice off one of their lawyers - unbelievable!

legal advice
I asked a question about our problem re freehold purchase but the so called 'expert' could not offer an useful answer, and stated that it was too difficult for him to answer on the site without the relevant documentation. When I provided some documentation, he still could not answer except with a superficial comment that 'a contract is a contract'. I complained about this in my review of the service and gave a low rating, which I now find has been adjusted upwards. I paid the agreed amount of £58.74 for this one event but now find I have also been charged a further £60.16 on 17th March to which I did not agree. I insist upon a refund of this amount with no further recurrent billing, which was not part of my agreement.

account
They blocked my account and that was a miracle that I even found out about that! No one from JustAnswer contacted me regarding that and I still have no idea what happened. I was a good user of JustAnswer and never did anything wrong! That is not fair. I sent them messages asking how can I get my account back and they simply ignored me.
I want JustAnswer to contact me as soon as possible regarding this matter and I want to know the reason why I was blocked, because, to be honest, I don't understand anything!

unethical and misleading
I tried (Just Answer) to get a legal question advise and they were asking for my credit card for a free trail however they billed my card and there website says that my card was turned down so I checked my card account and this company had charged my account $36 and now I cant get in touch with. This seems to be a scam BEWARE! Do not give card info.

vet lines and your billing service
I lost my dog suddenly two days before christmas, so i got onto the just answer website.typed in my question, was asked if i wanted to proceed it would cost $5.i agreed, i also was told to receive a answer from a qualified vet i needed to pay a extra $22 i think it was.i agreed, i received one reply from one vet, i still to this day have not found the reason why my dog passed suddenly, just after this money was taken from my credit card account that was not authorised, apparently there is a membership fee which i didnt agree to the money was refunded and the accounts department were helpful.i do believe that this site, took advantage of my current situation and were misleading in taking money for membership.I was looking for a helpful answer.one off...to this day i will never use your site again, and never will find out why my dog died the way he did...i did rate the vet a 4.but they really only deserved a 1.I think i deserved more than one reply...very misleading...dissapointed, heartbroken.

unethical behaviour regarding payment
I was inadvertently directed (from a legitimate online chat about a printer problem with a local company ) to the JustAnswer site, by some 'phishing' event?, where the conversation continued. I was asked for a deposit, refundable if the question was answered satisfactorily. I agreed and paid by Paypal. The amount taken was £20 (about five times the amount mentioned as deposit). I had an initial answer to my problem, which was useless, but at that point realised what had happened and saw the ominous 'would you prefer us to log in remotely to help you.'
Since then I have had emails stating that they (just answer) were unable to access the remainder of my bill and needed more payment details. This seems like a blatant attempt to access my PayPal account again.
I have complained to PayPal who suggested I initially conduct this through mediation with the company (JustAnswer).
I realise I have little chance of recovering the amount I've already paid, but worried that my PayPal account may be compromised.
Any advice or help welcome

money taken out of my account by the medical site without my permission
I typed a description of a medical problem into a search engine, and was directed to Just Answer. Here I was led to believe that I could ask one question for $5, although pop-ups kept appearing trying to convince me to 'upgrade' to $10, whereby (it said) I could ask more questions. I only wanted to ask one question, so waded through the morass of pop-ups and eventually got to ask my question. The doctor wanted to see a photo, but I was unable to provide this, as the affected area is inaccessible. He said it was impossible to tell without a picture. I attempted to end the conversation, but he said he would make 'an educated guess'. After giving this, he said I must give him 5 stars in order for him to get credit. I gave him four, out of politeness more than anything. I was very annoyed to see that the $5 was called a 'deposit' on my bank statement, and that an additional $29 had been deducted. I wasn't informed about any additional payment. I am on disability benefit, and am now unable to pay my upcoming monthly bills. It may seem like a small amount to a doctor, but to me it it a lot of money. I feel I was misled. I notice that the page now says that questions will be answered for 'as little as $16, but when I first went to the site, the offer was definitely 'ask a question for $5', which is all I wish to pay. Can you help me, please?
repeated billing for one answer.
Yes, I indeed asked to find one answer to a problem I was having and could not resolve. My answer came the next day and I was under the impression that after I paid the fee for the answer, that it was a one time charge. It seemed to be a very good website. Well, as everyone else has stated in their own complaints, that this site has you now on an every month billing cycle that runs in to eternity. This is a better Ponzi scheme than Berry Madoff could ever think of.
The next step is all the JustAnswer sites. I have already employed a full legal team to go after this case with a pit bull tenacity. We are only out the 1st month. But there better not be a second month or the legal fees will be far more than the monthly deduction they took.

It's pretty bad when you google JustAnswer's phone # and the entire list of links that pop up are scam alerts and articles from people who have been stolen from.
Then, you look at Just Answer's FAQ section and every question has to do with people trying to get their money back or to cancel a subscription that they never wanted...
Then, you call the number listed and the very first phone option is "Billing Matters".
You guys know you are stealing from people. Have some honor and run a respectable business. I'm embarrassed for you.
