On March 26th I had over 800 units saved up from purchases in game over the last few months. When I went to bed on March 26th I still had those units. On the morning of March 27th when I signed into the game my units were gone. When I contacted Kabam Support on the issue, they told me 5 2-4 star crystals were purchased on my account at 6pm on March 26th. After explaining to them I have a husband at home with cancer and I am spending countless hours working to pay for medical bills and hospice, there is no way I was online at 6pm because I was at work at that time. Let alone I would never purchase 2-4 star crystals because they would do nothing for me based on the fact that those Champions are not allowed where I am at in the game. Kabam Support told me "if you believe your account was hacked you can change your password" "it is your responsibility to keep your account secure" They basically are stealing my money, and not taking responsibility for their failed system.

Hi,I am using my Contest of Champions account for around 7 years at this point
Hi,I am using my Contest of Champions account for around 7 years at this point. Recently I tried to call support and was denied help because I don't remember the date I created my account. I'm almost sure the account was created between December and March , however I can't remember the exact date. They asked me to check an email from 7 years ago, but I don't keep emails from the game. They also asked me to verify my *** Play account, but I use an iPhone. Finally, they asked me to check my achievements and purchases on Apple, but my phone used to be shared with other family members and I don't know which achievements and purchases related to each Kabam account. I'm still glad to send this information to them, though, to help resolve the issue. The problem is that, now, they just disappeared on me! They are no longer responding my messages, or doing so with automated responses. I have spent quite a few hundred dollars on this game, so I want this resolved! Thanks!

I made a purchase from Kabam in the amount of $200 through Apple as an app purchase. Apple inadvertently charged my bank card as well as the gift card I used which had $200 on it and I was charged $100 more. I filed a case with Apple and Apple issued a refund. I then received a message from Kabam saying that I violated their terms of service agreement that was enacted in January and my account was locked for credits the transaction refund was $99 and they are now asking me for $760 to rectify it. They are trying to hold me liable for refunds that were issued to me back in 2017 and 2018 before their terms of service agreement was put into affect. I find this highly illegal as you cannot change your terms and service and then retroactively go back to try to collect on something. I refuse to pay on something when that shouldnt be the case. This should be illegal and in violation of *** laws as the amount they are asking is 7.6 times of the $99 transaction.
I recently took a break from the game Marvel Contest Of Champions. When I returned I couldn't log into my account as I had been hacked, Kabam helped me regain access and change my email over which was very helpful. However, when I got back in I found my account in negative "Contest Credits" which meant refunds had been issued without Kabam, amounting to almost 200 Because of this I cannot access full features of the game until I pay the cost. This was not something I had done. I contacted Kabam and they gave me a copy and pasted answer on their contest credit system and you can tell they hadn't even read my issue.I sent off a further 2 support tickets, both asking for a personalised response so I knew my issue was actually being read. Once again, two copy and pasted default responses, even after one ticket got escalated to a senior member, the default response was sent by them as well. Now they are expecting me to pay 200 for something that was not my fault.
Kabams game marvel contest of champions is not a correctly working game. They have admitted this in emails and stated they were dedicated to fixing this issue. They were caught exploiting their bugs by THE PLAYERS and then promised amends. This was spring 2021. They have made no correction to the problem and instead are pushing more and more content. They are funneling money by draining their players of resources on an admitted problem who need to spend more resources either I. Game or other to simply continue. Every item, every dollar spent due to issues they caused should be returned to players. Their game should be shut down until it works as advertised
I just started playing "Shop Titans", a Kabam game, a couple of weeks ago
I just started playing "Shop Titans", a Kabam game, a couple of weeks ago. They had a Victorian week where you had three options: pack 1, pack, 2, mega pack. Pack one was *** included 1 clothing, 1 recipe, 1 furniture, 300 gems & 75k gold. Pack two was *** included 1 clothing, 1 recipe, 1 furniture, 300 gems & 75k gold. The Mega pack was *** and advertised in very large letters as you will see it was a "$25.98 Value!". I made this purchase under the assumption that a $25.98 value (***+***) meant all of pack one and two were included in the *** PACK. There was no written information on the advertisement about the mega pack NOT including gems. Well Kabam never sent me my gems or gold even though I have spoken to them on this matter. They seem to believe they can call something a $25.98 value when it isn't and management will not respond to this information with me. They only go far enough to deny me what I feel is owed to me and what they advertised a "$25.98 Value!"

Kabam *** provides an online application for gaming. They fraudulently charged my apple store account *** for an in game purchase which was refunded by apple. I was then locked out of my in game currency purchases in what they claim was a violation of their TOS and asked to pay 50 dollars to restore. If apple is satisfied that I did not make the purchase, I consider what Kabam is doing to be illegal.
I believe my account has been hacked or banned.I noticed two nights ago that while I was away, I had come back to my account (name being Eshaunayy) with much more powerful characters from my previous time playing. I had a 6Captain *** and some 5heroes. I was also not able to log into my Kabam account on other devices, to see if it was some strange glitch or exploit. I then decide to look at my account this afternoon to see what had happened, when I got what the internet calls "the banned screen" being unable to log in.The only explanation I can find is that my email associated with my Kabam account was compromised, and if needed I can obtain proof of that email from *** themselves. I do understand my currently banned/compromised account has violated T.O.S, but I would like some sort of positive resolution.Thank you for your time

On June 9, I requested a refund of $29.99 on a purchase I made with the mobile game Marvel Contest of Champions, after glitchy gameplay and server lag caused me to use an excess amount of items to complete content. iTunes granted the refund and reimbursed me with $29.99. Kabam, Inc., the developer of Marvel Contest of Champions, incorrectly stated that I had refunded multiple purchases totaling $90, and put my game account into a $90 deficit. For the last two weeks, I have attempted to present my case to their support team, however, they only respond with pre-made generic responses and apparently are not reviewing the case. I have attempted to reach out to Apple Support, who says I must take it up with the App Developer, Kabam. I have dozens of e-mail records showing Kabam's incompetence, I have credit card statements showing that only one refund was ever made, and I have records of my conversation with Apple. I would like a full refund of all monies spent on this game.

My account for Marvel Contest of Champions was recently banned. I was not aware of the terms of service violation that they have accused me of and still unsure of what actions caused my account to be suspended permanently. I recently spent $600 on offers from this game on July 2nd and now lose my account on July 6th. I would like to have my account back that I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on immediately. Numerous people have had the same violation and received a 1 week ban. I have never broken any rules and this permanent ban seems very unreasonable. Thanks

The mobile game developed by Kabam: Shop Titans, offers every 14 days (aprox) a package with exclusive items: the full package is currently 72,99 BRL (Brazilian Real), and the two fractions of the package are 49,99 BRL each. By purchasing the Mega Pack (full package) the player has access to the called 'Flashback offers' after 24h of the first transaction. The 'Flashback offers' will offer the player 3 of the partial purchase options that were offered in previous packages. If the player purchases all of the 3x 49,99 BRL offers within 48h, it is offered a fourth offer, called 'Superior Package', with the same value: 49,99 BRL. In order to a new player to catch up with the best offers, he/she needs to purchase everything the game has previously offered (2 years), in which the most cases are obsolete items or simply unwanted items already skipped. This abusive mechanism against the consumer forces unwanted offers to be purchased in order to *** them access to the desired ones.

I play a game from Kabam (Marvel Contest of Champions) and I spend a lot of money on their mirco transactions
I play a game from Kabam (Marvel Contest of Champions) and I spend a lot of money on their mirco transactions. During a special event, I thought I lost a "token". This token was unlocked through a purchase and multiple days of play following. I sent a message to support asking to help. They first told me that had to verify the account was mine, so they asked 5 questions. They wanted to know original player name of account, first two real money purchases, original email used with the game, location where you downloaded the game, and finally the creation date of the account. I gave screenshots of the purchases and install, but can't remember a username from 10+ years ago. They told me I might have stolen the account and refuse to help me, or talk to me. All copy and paste replies now. I've spent too much money with this game, there has to be another way to verify its mine. Aside from the original install screen shot (seriously, what more do they want). They refuse to help or try

Hello,I play a mobile game called Marvel Contest of Champions which is under the control of Kabam
Hello,I play a mobile game called Marvel Contest of Champions which is under the control of Kabam. In this game, there are alliances constructed of 30 members. There is a game mode called alliance war in which these alliances face off against others to see who can clear the map of the enemy alliances with the least deaths. Kabam has instituted Alliance war Seasons and season 28 just ended. There are 12 wars in a season and my alliance just won 11/12 to earn first place. But, my alliance's points were deducted yesterday and one of the members has been banned for a week. This member is a quality member of the *** community and uploads every one of his fights on *** There is no way he has done any type of cheating. I have screenshots from kabam workers through their content creator program (I cannot share because I'm not supposed to have them) stating that kabam THINKS we logged into an opposing alliance member account so we could win a war. We have been docked for speculation.

As the result of a data breach, my account information was compromised
As the result of a data breach, my account information was compromised. Account deactivation is not an option that is allowed through either their website or the mobile app which used the account information and must be done by directly contacting their support team which can only be done through email, and the only means of account verification they have is seemingly ENTIRELY character and case sensitive and requires: Account name - Provided. They actually say the name of it, themselves, in their emails/First 2 real money purchase dates+amounts - Provided. I still have the receipts for them./Original email linking the account - they are, quite literally, emailing me on the only email address I have ever used/Location where the account was created - Provided and can be verified on the receipts for the purchases that they asked for./Creation date of account - Provided. In their email they ask for YYYY-MM-DD but their website demands DD-MM-YYYY and have been uncooperative in clarifying.

I'm a service connected disabled veteran who has some issues with mental health. During this covid 19 pandemic I have struggled with my symptoms and made a bunch of excessive purchases from the period of April 20th through April 27th. I have contacted both Kabam and *** requesting a refund for these purchases. *** said I have to go through Kabam, so I have been trying to speak to someone senior at that company and have had no luck whatever. I'm getting emails from the same person and it seems they don't care about my issue. I've been a customer of *** for almost 4 years now and I am being treated unfairly and unjustly by this company. I do not understand how a company can be so greedy and not understand someone's mental health issues, especially when they are a veteran who has served for this country. I am hoping that this ComplaintsBoard.com complaint gets me the solution I'm looking for. I made a mistake and need my money back please. This company does not care about it's long term customers. This company takes advantage of people who struggle with health issues like me.

Back in August I was accused of using a third party app to play their game, this was me switching from one device to the other, I explained this and they ignored it, banned me for 7 days and removed my uncollected title Id had for 2 years, they then told me they would review and possibly restore my account title if I was to 100% a incomplete chapter of act 5.This took me a few months to do as I need to get resources and energy, while also being on holiday for a week, but on completing act 5.2 100% in December, I emailed them asking them to review me, the next day they responded stating they had updated their terms of service and it was no longer possible to return the title, the changes to the terms of service were made in October unannounced, and what was announced was to do with refunds.Ive sent over *** seen 12 times over, I feel this is a breach of trust from kabam who moved the goal posts unannounced, all Im after is the return of my uncollected title in honour that I was accused of breaking the terms of service before the rule change.

This is a complaint about being unrightfully banned from the Kabam game Shop Titans
This is a complaint about being unrightfully banned from the Kabam game Shop Titans. I have been playing the game for some time now. I have spent $300+ on buying things for this games. Characters, memberships and gems. I had purchased some gems and they were not credited so I waited after 24+hrs (should be immediate) I looked for how to handle that I didnt receive the gems. There is no place to ask the game for a refund on unreceived items. So I asked the *** play store to refund me and they did. I then purchased a larger bunch of gems, at some point apparently after about 3 days and I had received the refund they sent me those gems. However I didnt realize it because I had purchased another bundle of gems I had received those gems I had gotten the refund for. Now because they say because I was refunded items I had received I am now banned from the game. Which I think is really not fair because I had not received the items at the time of the refund. I have sent complaints to in game support and all I get is I violated some kind of terms of theirs and I'm banned and due to their research there will be no appeal and I'm out of luck. I even told them to take the money back for those gems. I am fine with that. But no one seems to care.

I posted a bug on their forums 6 months ago that the description for a Mastery was completely wrong - Parry. It stated that Parry Stun length was increased by each point spent in it. It did not. I posted proof on the forums, which was ignored. I posted on the thread I had created again, and was temporarily warned/banned for "bumping". Now, 6 months later, they have admitted to the bug I reported, and given out no compensation. I posted on their forums, highlighting the fact that I brought this bug up 6 months ago, asking why I was treated unfairly, for an apology, and suggesting that they treat people who are helping better. I was given another temporary warning/banning on the forums. I reached out to their lead moderator, asking why this was done... and was banned permanently on the forums. I made a new forum account, and messaged him again, asking why did he ban that account. He banned that new one. I made another one, asking again, why, and that this was poor customer service. He then banned that one, told me that making an account to ask is "harassment", and he also banned my in game account for 7 days. I have an active subscription that I am paying for in game that is now not being used, and I am be defrauded the money spent on it, in addition to the unfair treatment I have received. In addition, I am a leader of an Alliance, and we are competing in events which require me to login and also lead them, which is costing my entire Alliance money/units and on missed rewards.

I have been playing Kabam's Marvel Contest of Champions for several years now
I have been playing Kabam's Marvel Contest of Champions for several years now. I have spent over $1,000 on this game throughout this time and have always used the app with integrity and abiding by the terms of service. Lately, there have been severe connection issues which have stalled the game and caused me to have to close the app and re-open it repeatedly. The latest occasion was an *** issue which affected many apps on Apple's iOS and caused this particular app to go directly to the background after opened. Because of this, I attempted to open the app several times, on two different devices. I'm sure this looked like an exploit, but it was an attempt to access the game as I was unaware what the issue was. After the the *** issue was addressed, I was able to open the game but met with an account ban for 720 hours for a violation of the terms of service, specifically section 11- code of conduct. I submitted a ticket to Kabam to address this as I have done no such thing, but received a generic response with no further information or resolution, instead siting their rite to make a 'judgement call' on what they perceive as an exploit.Being that I have invested over $1,000 in this app and have been barred from accessing my investment for a month based on a perceived exploit when it was nothing more than an attempt to continue using the app, I am requesting that my Kabam takes this matter seriously instead of reading data which suggests an action that didn't happen and removes the ban from my account.

Hi there,On November 1 I was playing an online smartphone based video game called Marvel Contest of Champions that is developed and operated by Kabam. When I opened the game, there was an offer for a monthly subscription based deal that included crystals with an incorrect drop rate listed in game. These crystals are used to obtain new champions in the game. Knowing Kabam often sends compensation crystals with the corrected drop rates, I bought this deal for $73.74 (GST inclusive). I would NOT have bought this deal had the proper drop rates been advertised.I contacted Kabam and after multiple emails back and forth, they told me that they had changed the items on the back end and that I received crystals with the corrected drop rate, even though I was still looking at the wrong drop rates in game. To quote the email they sent, "As for the drop rates you saw in the Unit Store, it appears that the offer was updated while you were making the purchase. This would explain why you saw the old drop rates before making the purchase, and then after the transaction, they received the corrected crystals."After getting this admission of false advertising/deceptive sales practice, I applied for a refund of the $73.74 from Apple, which was granted and returned the next day (Apple has A LOT of experience with Kabam refunds).A few days after the refund, Kabam has put a lock onto my account and I cannot access parts of my in-game earned/paid for currencies until I buy a new deal from them for the exact amount I was refunded. In this instance, they call it a Negative Units Balance lock.It has been weeks trying to get them to remove this lock from my account, but was told today that I "broke their TOS" by getting a refund for their falsely advertised product, and closed the issue.

On October 12th, I purchased a "bundle" of digital goods. This particular bundle had a buying limit of 2, meaning it couldn't of possibly been purchased more than twice. I purchased the bundle once and was charged 3 times on my credit card. I am reaching out to the ComplaintsBoard.com to help me resolve my issue, as I'm starting to believe this entire company is one big scam. I tried reaching out to Apple support and was told my claim was declined. If you guys have a purchase limit of 2 for a bundle, how can I possibly get charged 3 times?
Kabam has a game called contest of champions. They have known problems with the game that they are not fixing nor does it seem like they will but also they are still charging people for a broken game
I purchased a bundle in marvel contest of champions for $69.99, it said that I was all set and my purchase went through. I did not receive the bundle that I paid for in the game and when I checked my bank account, it showed the game charged me $74.19. This is not the first time that the game has over charged me, but I didnt even receive what I over paid for and now it is no longer available for purchase. To resolve my complaint I just want to receive what I paid for.
