Purchased an 02 Dodge Diesel on Saturday, February 16, 2013, and discovered on Friday, February 22, 2013 that the injector pump is bad. Contacted James G. (son-in-law of owner) and notified him of the problem asking if the problem would be covered under the warranty. Explained that the only miles were those from the delearship to my home plus maybe 20 more miles. Asked if the 30 day warranty advertised on their commercials would cover this. James explained that the warranty was for labor only. The cost of the part which is over $1100 would be the consumer's responsibilitiy. But once the parts were purchased, the labor would be at no expense to the purchaser. Had I known the warranty was limited to labor only I would have thought additionally prior to purchasing the vehicle.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Thank you for your post. I too purchased a car from the Belleville location on 2/11/13. I put $300 into the car right after the purchase. Well last night, there was a loud knocking noise. We took it to a reputable auto service center who informed us that the axle is cracked. Contacted James the manager who was the same person that sole me the car. He was rude, unprofessional, deceptive and simply lacked concerned. He sold me a lemon and the car's just sitting in the driveway. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
I brought a car from Brian Winters at the Collinsville location. About a week after having the car the service engine light came on. I had to get a fuel pump. The hatch on the blazer stopped working. When I called back to inform them. They stated the car had not warrenty and hung up. They said they had their money and it was know my responsibility. They are complete scam artist.
