white powder in ice maker
I purchased a Kitchen Aid refrigerator. I could never get the ice maker out. Later found out it was stuck shut. At about 11 months I notices residue on the bottom of my glass after my drink sat. The volume of the powdery substance was quite substantial and noticeable. I really worked on the ice maker and forced it open. There was a pile of white powder inside the ice maker and on the sides of the interior. I cleaned it thoroughly removing all white power and thought the problem was solved. They just forgot to clean it before shipping it. After cleaning it the water/ice was clear. Within 3 months I noticed the white powder was back in my drinks. I can't believe how much of this powder I must have ingested. I called Kitchen Aid. Sorry you are out of warranty. I suggested they come out and get a sample of this white powder and identify it as harmless or toxic. If not for me then other who may have not noticed it. Sorry your out of warranty. Can I send you a sample of this powder and you can tell me what it is and if it is normal to be in my drinks. No. CAUTION ! LOOK in the bottom of your glass after the ice has melted. Don't let your children drink this substance. Write me if you have had similar experience. [protected]@hotmail.com
rebate policy
I purchased a Kitchenaid Pro 600 Mixer from an online vendor, after reading a Kitchenaid advertisement for a $50 Rebate for this model. Since I was purchasing the correct model from an "approved" source (i.e. not a store listed as unapproved, online auction, etc.) and I had proof of purchase, plus the serial number, I went ahead and made the purchase.
However, since this is a gift for a bride who lives across the country. I had the mixer shipped directly to her. Now, in reading the "fine print" on the rebate rules, I realize that I not only need a UPC code -in addition to receipt, serial number and name of store where I purchased it- I must have the "original" UPC code -"cut from the box"! Yes, apparently, there is no way to have this sent as a gift to a bride and receive the rebate, even though I've purchased a brand new, several-hundred dollar mixer from a company such as Kitchenaid.
It's hard to believe that Kitchenaid would do this, knowing that many, many of these mixers will be purchased as wedding gifts in this upcoming wedding season and not make it more clear that there is no way to receive this rebate in those circumstances. This is pathetic for a company such as Kitchenaid. I had intended to purchase one for myself, but am looking to alternatives now. I can't support a company with such terrible and misleading policies.
It would not make a difference if you had the original UPC. I sent in everything as requested and received a post card saying the UPC was missing. Wrote back saying I sent everything in and if they did not have the UPC it was because they lost it. I had made copies of everything, They told me to write to a particular department because the one I had written to takes too long (although that is who they told me to write to). So after not hearing from them for at least a month, my son called and they told him to have me fax everything over to them. I stupidly did this at a cost of $7.80. Weeks went by and I called again and was told that the offer had expired. I have read so many similar cases that I feel sure that they scam everyone. Something should be done about this but I don't know how to proceed.
bad product/bad service
Installed Microwave/Convection oven and found that steam causes door to completely fog, sometimes for 24-30 hours. After service call, received authorization for product exchange. After no response from Product Exchange department (6 weeks after service call) found that the exchange was denied by them and decision final because steaming of door is considered a normal part of operation - no disagreement there - but the fact that it steams and does not clear for such a long time does not seem correct. However, they refused to take into consideration the length of time door is fog - seal could be faulty! and have left me with a product that I consider defective. Seems like a bad decision since this is a $500 item that can easily be replaced. Every bit of interaction with the service side of the company has been difficult and/or almost non-existent. Do not recommend KitchenAid products based on this experience.

defect in new oven door
We built our house and bought these ovens and had them installed somewhere within the week of 7/14. We moved in on 7/23/14 and noticed around the end of August 2014 that the top oven door has a black stop between the glass (the size of a bug). I don't know what it is but aesthetically it looks dirty. It is a brand new oven. I called Whirpool/Kitchenaid on 9/9 and made an appointment for someone to look at it on 9/22 between 12:00 and 5:00 pm. No one came. I called the appliance place that Kitchenaid gave me the number of and they apologized but they do not do warranty work for these people any more. No one called me to alert me to the fact that, so I stay home from work for nothing. No one apologized for the wrong doing when I called Kitchenaid. So I moved on and told them about this blotch spot on the oven door and they told me that my 30 day warranty for cosmetic problems has expired. REALLY? This defect in the door was done during the manufacturing process not for anything me the customer has done. If the oven was put in the week of 7/17 and I did not take possession of the house until the 23rd, the oven would be 48 days old when I finally had the time to call on 9/9. So Kitchenaid will not do anything about the defect in the door and did not apologize for the inconvenience I had to endure today by staying home from work for someone who never came. You would not be able to GIVE me a Kitchenaid/Whirpool brand anything for the rest of my life if this is how we get treated. I would urge anyone reading this to stay away from this brand. No customer service is being given out here.
kitchenaid
I purchased this KitchenAid dishwasher, model number KUDS30IXBL, in ...Oct. 2011 for 604.82. The computer board and soap dispenser were replaced within the first year. I then purchased a three year extended warranty through KitchenAid for $262.31. Since then it has broken five times total. - Fuse twice - Soap dispenser - And non-covered rack parts. It just broke six days ago and is full of grimy water. The repairman was here and is ordering another computer board, fuse, heater, and water pump. I have a 22 month old and another baby due in a month do you think I will let them eat off of anything that comes out of this dishwasher? KitchenAid is not honoring the no-lemon clause of the agreement. My family will never purchase KitchenAid appliances again.

rebate scam
We purchased a Kitchenaid mixer on Christmas day from Sears online that came with a $50 Kitchenaid rebate.
I sent all of the required documentation, rebate form, copy of store receipt and original UPC cut out from the side of the box. Today I received a postcard proclaiming that I "DID NOT" send in a copy of the UPC. I'm sorry, but I most certainly did and it was stapled to the rebate form and the copy of the receipt.
Is this some kind of game these people are playing? I send in rebates all of the time, and aside from one other shady outfit that was being investigated by the Better Business Bureau, this is the second time one of these rebate companies has tried to say I didn't include the UPC. They say there's no way to prove we bought the mixer unless we provide them with a copy of the UPC, which unfortunately for us (and lucky for them) we've not been able to locate. It doesn't matter to anyone in this company that we still own the mixer that we registered online, and they have our information in their system with the original serial number I read tothem from the bottom of our mixer.
I can tell you right now, this is the last time that I'll ever purchase anything from Kitchenaid. This is a very dishonest company and they're a complete ripoff. We'll not purchase another one of their products ever again.
Attached is a photo of the mixer they claim we can't prove we purchased.

Do not buy from Kitchenaid, especially if you are figuring in the rebate on your purchase.
Kitchenaid will not honor it.I sent all required documentation on time to Kitchenaid and
they refused my rebate, get this, because the postmark that the post office stamps on
it they could not read, really ? They just dont want to pay up, shame on Kitchenaid !
Microwave vent cover has come off "on its own" in the middle of night and fallen on glass Kitchenaid stove cook top and broken for second time in one year. Kitchenaid once was quality appliance, in my mind. I'm here to say that is no longer the case.
Kitchen Aid rebate is such a scam. Never buying from them again. Bought their kitchen aid in the time allowed, plus sent in all documentation. Still was denied. KITCHEN AID REBATE IS A SCAM. NEVER AGAIN WILL GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS.
service complaint
I purchased a KitchenAid Refrigerator from the Rockville, MD store and received great service at the store. I purchased a 5-year warranty at the time of sale. Into the 4th year of the 5-year warranty, the freezer stopped freezing and showed 14 degrees on the thermometer. The ice maker stopped working also. (1) TECHNICIAN #1 arrived and said that I was lucky to have bought a Refrigerator 101 as it was easier to procure parts and easier to work on. He told me to re-position everything in the freezer and to keep it away from the coils in the back of the freezer because air has to circulate -- something I had not been told before -- but the fridge had been operating fine for 4 years. He ordered an ice maker and a drier. The fridge had weak coiling coils and very little frost. Re-positioning the food in the freezer did not help. (2) Two weeks later TECHNICIAN #2 arrived and installed the icemaker and drier. Unfortunately, the busy holiday season has arrived and the freezer and icemaker is not working correctly. B&S told me to buy ice until the next technician could arrive. I have now lost some food. (3) 13 days later TECHNICIAN #3 arrives and says the freezer registers 18 degrees -- not cold enough. The ice now comes out wet and clumps together. The dryer is not working. It is necessary to either throw the entire clump of ice out or use an ice pick. The technician says he would tell the office to send the "sealed system technician" out. There is only one "sealed system technician" working for the company. (4) TECHNICIAN #4, the "sealed system technician", arrives to look at my "wet, clumpy ice" and said the condenser was clogged and cleaned it out. I was told to wait 24 hrs for the unit to stabilize its temperature. That service didn't work and I called B&S once more with my fridge problem. (5) TECHNICIAN #4 returns to tell me there is dirt under the fridge and I need to keep it cleaned out. (OH!). He proceeds to use his vac and says that should fix the problem. (6) Needless to say, my fridge continued to make ice that was wet and clumped together and I need to use the ice pick. TECHNICIAN #5 was sent out and said he would tell the office to send the "sealed system technician" out again. He said I should wait a few hours until he has had a chance to call the office.
I have made numerous calls to the B&S Appliance Repair Office and have requested to speak to Holly or John, the supervisors, AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THEY WILL RETURN MY CALLS. BUT AFTER FOUR DAYS NOONE RETURNS MY CALLS.
SO HERE WE ARE SINCE NOV. 4 -- TILL NOW JAN. 24 -- AND NO COOPERATION FROM THE BRAY AND SCARFF APPLIANCE REPAIR OFFICE. I STILL HAVE WET CLUMPY ICE. IT IS A GOOD THING I HAD THE EXTENDED WARRANTY BECAUSE I HATE TO THINK WHAT I WOULD HAVE PAID THUS FAR.
THIS IS SOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATING. I THOUGHT B&S HAD A GOOD TRACK RECORD. I WISH I HAD KNOWN ABOUT THE B&S CUSTOMER COMPLAINT BOARD BEFORE I MADE THE PURCHASE. ANOTHER COMPLAINING CUSTOMER IS CORRECT, I SHOULD HAVE STUCK WITH SEARS!

I wish I had found this site before buying ALL Kitchenaid appliances. I have only had my refrigerator since DECEMBER 2015...and have had 3 service calls...it is the worst ever. For spending over 3, 000 on it, and the same on the microwave and range...I am SO disappointed. My issue is not fixed. It is a factory problem. The seal on the freezer door does not work because the frame is not flush with the rest of the door. My Kenmore fridge that I had for over 17 years? NOT ONE PROBLEM. I have major remorse over this purchase.
customer service
In April, I unfortunately spent $9, 000.00 on kitchenaid/ whirlpool appliances.Since then, I have had problems with the refrigerator. 3 service calls! Now it is Christmas Eve and the refrigerator is not cooling. I am having 22 people to dinner on Christmas. The repair man came and told me that it needs a new compressor. To make matters worse...it needs to be ordered. A 6 month old refrigerator should not need a new compressor! Obviously it is a lemon. Called Customer Service. Apparently Kitchenaid has no customer service. I requested a new refrigerator because I do not want to keep fixing a defective product. What happens when the warranty runs out? Spoke to a CSR and her supervisor. Just kept reciting the script. Under my warranty...the compressor is a replaceable part so I can not get a new refrigerator. I know that the CEO Jeff Fettic wouldn't want the repaired defective refrigerator either! So then I asked Kitchenaid to find a compressor and install it so I can host the XMAS dinner. I was told that is not possible. Best they could do was overnight it and since tomorrow is Christmas the part would not be shipped until Thursday. Kitchenaid is not only ruining my Christmas dinner. But it sounds like I won't have a working refrigerator for a while.
Not even sure if they really are having the part overnighted. Bottom line...Kitchenaid does not care about a customer once you buy their products. No effort on their part, no matter what the circumstances! I am up the creek regarding my Christmas Dinner and they don't care. Additionally, Kitchenaid probably doesn't want to replace the refrigerator because they will get more money for all the parts the defective unit will need in the future. Or maybe I will buy an extended warranty!
Do not buy Kitchenaid. It is now January 2nd and the refrigerator has been neither repaired or replaced. The repair company has returned to my house twice and has been unable to repair the refrigerator. Now I am waiting on more parts. How many parts need to be replaced before KitchenAid replaces the refrigerator?

Well it is now December 31. Yesterday the compressor arrived and the service company came to install it. Decided I didn't need a compressor after waiting over a week. Instead, there was a bad seal and the refrigerant leaked out. The refrigerant and seal were replaced. Check the freezer this morning...no cooling. The unit is still not working. Service company is not answering the phone and neither is KitchenAid

junk appliances
Never ever buy kitchenaid junk appliances. They are like wolves in sheep's clothing. Big name, shameless performance-worse than even maytag and frigidaire.
Note that kitchenaid is owned by whirlpool.
We had purchased 4 kitchenaid appliances (Double door fridege, gas stove, dishwasher, over the range microwave) in 2009 from kitchenaid for our brand new house in markham, ontario. These appliances did not last even few months. They all started giving problems, one after the other. Just imagine that we have never ever been able to use frdige filter even. The microwave fan buttons and light bulbs gave up, the gas stove door got auto locked on its own and the oven light has stayed on permamnently for 2 years as we cannot remove the bulb, the fridge had leaked from bottom and the dishwasher made noise. We have not used stove oven for 2 years because it does not work and we cannot cook properly o a $3, 000 stove because the brittle main burner grill has broken into many pieces on its own (We never heard a stove grills breaking into pieces). We can't sue microwave fan properly and there is no light working. We called kitchen aid many times but to no avail. When they sent someone, the repairman asked us to pay for all parts costing well over $300. We said we wanted them to replace our appliances as they did not perform well at all and we could not even use them. This is the least we expected from a company that markets itself as a premium brand company. Anyway we cautioned them that we woudl take them to court if they don't totally replace our products because they wepurchaed them new and we don't want to have them repaired now after 3 years wait. They did not agree and again started the same junk talk as usual.in frustration we purchaed set of bosch appliances because our house is new and it does not look nice that we have all garbage kitchenaid appliances not working. Many friends had purchased kitchenaid after seeing us and they too are frustrated with teir product quality. The fridges and stoves are capital purchases and are expected to last at the least 10 years. We had much cheaper, ge appliance in old house and they lasted 15 years without a problem. Kitchenaid and whirlpool are shameless and they don't acre about courts cases at all because they are big and will fight out the small consumers hiding behind their stupid fine print. We will still go ahead and set an example out of them. If I was running that company I would have been ashamed of my conduct. But not only the canadian company, their global hq in the us also does not care as we had informed them as well. The csrs are not trained to understand the implications of legal claims for a company and they talk like typical canadian srevice reps harassing and discomforting their customers.

broken unit
I purchased an extended warranty through Kitchenaid for my oven/microwave. The light bulbs were no longer working and the microwave turntable was making a noise. I called Kitchenaid for service. Kitchenaid sent A & E Factory Service for a service call. The repairman ordered light bulbs and a new motor for the microwaves turntable. The repairman from A & E Factory service then came back on April 9, 2013 to complete the repairs. In the process of taking my oven/microwave out of its built in cabinet the repairman dropped it on my travertine floor. He up righted the unit and completed the repairs thinking it was going to work. He also called another repairman to come and help him put the unit back into the built in cabinet. Once, it was reinstalled, actually forced back into the cabinet he turned the power back on and the computer was completely dead. He then called who I assume was Kitchenaid to order a new computer, and then after making sure the breaker for the electricity to the unit was off he left. He did not leave me a receipt nor did he have me sign anything. He literally ran out of my house. Once he was gone I noticed that the cabinet around the unit was now dented and scratched as well as my travertine floor. The oven/microwave itself is also dented and the doors do not open properly. I then spent the rest of that day trying to figure out who was responsible for the damage. Kitchenaid referred me to A & E and A & E referred me to Sedgwick. I have been treated horribly by all and lied to as well. The manager from A & E came out and took pictures and promised to help settle this in a timely manner. The adjuster at Sedgwick, Christopher Brooks calls me a liar every time I am fortunate enough to actually speak to him, and his supervisor told my husband that we needed to stop calling because the more we call the longer they will make sure it takes for them to investigate the alleged claims. How long am I supposed to be without an oven? I have a family of 4 and have no way to prepare food. Eating out all of the time is not in my budget and has cost me a lot of money. The time my husband and I have spent trying to handle this is excessive at the very least. There is no excuse for the adjuster to continue to treat me like a criminal or to call me a liar. The stress he has caused me and my family is unreasonable. I have already contacted Consumer affairs and the insurance commission.
I want a new oven/microwave, and I want my kitchen cabinets and flooring fixed, as well as money for all of the meals I have had to eat out.
poor quailty and customer service
Purchased KitchenAid countertop oven model # KCO111CU on 4/3/11 from Bed, Bath, Beyond for $80. The unit failed with only light use 17 months later. Warranty is 12 month. Contacted customer service. Was told these units cannot be repaired and they would not provide a replace due to warranty expiration. They also would not provide a discount on a replacement unit. I did not expect a replacemet however good and smart customer service would have ben a discount on a replacement. As a result I will not be purchasing any KitchenAid products in the future.

dispicable customer service
Received 12 cup coffee maker from grandson for christmas 2011. Quit working around first week of
April /12. Called Whirlpool and was told would have to return it to Mississauga and they would send prepaid purolator label to cover - which was mailed from Cleveland, Ohio date May 3rd. Was at cottage at lake and did not return to London until middle of May at which time sent item to Missauga. Called whirlpool around June 7th to inquire when my coffeemaker was shipped to me - it wasn't - and Kate said she would have one sent out that nite. Finally received replacement June 18th. If replacement coffeemaker goes on the blink I will throw it in recycle bin and buy different brand. I have never had such lousy don't really give a damn service and when my fridge and washer need replacing this fall I will definitely make sure they are not made by Whirlpool or their conglomorate subsidiaries.

large kitchen appliances do not last long
I highly suggest that when purchasing kitchen appliances, do not purchase KITCHEN AID. My appliances are seven years old and KA already had to replace my refrigerator because they used a faulty part and I was without a fridge for close to three months.. Not fun when you have children. I have spent hundreds of dollars on my dishwasher and once again, it is NOT WORKING. Please send a strong message to Kitchen Aid and not purchase their large kitchen appliances.

unprofessional tech
On April 11th A&E Factory service sent their tech out to service my kitchenaid oven. Tech named Jose was so unprofessional and all he was suppose to do is fix the pyro glass that was broke instead he's beating on the glass to break it more. I asked him what are you doing and he didnt respond. Then he began pushing on the oven door down towards the floor and the oven was horizonal before he did this. Then after he did that and I saw the damage he did I asked him to leave. The oven door was now leaning vertical down towards the floor. Today Dino's Appliance confirmed that the oven cannot be repaired found previous tech damaged reciever henge. Todays cost for repair was $115.00. Now, I had to purchase another oven today because my oven was destroyed due to this tech not having good common sense and not knowing anything about fixing a oven. Cost for new oven was $909.98 plus the $115.00 service call. A&E factory sevise owes me $1024.98
Very disappointed the way things were handled by this company and now they didnt want to send anyone over see the damage this tech did . They didn't want to be bothered by it infact they red flagged me they said cause I had a complant about this tech that they wouldnt even take car of the problem on hand. This is unexceptable and I will not allow this to happen until there is justice on this. The media will be involved now. Tess Boyd

dishwasher
I have owned a KichenAid for less than 2 years and it has failed multiple times. But the racket is as follows, you call, even if you know what is wrong they insist on sending out a technician to look at it. And that is exactly what they do look at it, Dan Marc Appliance of 23 Just Road, Fairfield NJ sent a tech who looked at it from a few feet away and said that will be $105 to order the part, He did no diagnostics, didn't test anything, just made an assumption. The problem is I already paid someone $60 to look at it and order a part and guess what, that didn't fix the problem (cost of install $89), so why would I pay an additional $105 for nothing?
The racket continues. The only way to receive the part is through the technician, so they have to deliver it, and install for an additional $89. So essentially when all is said and done the cost to repair a $600 dishwasher under warranty is about $350+tax. And it doesn't work. KichenAid products suck

Kitchenaid dishwasher - door just drops AND SLAMS TO THE GROUND very dangerous and kitchenaid won't offer free replacement part. This is a known problem . I honestly feel like calling the news because this is completely dangerous and the company could care less. rude customer service
I called KitchenAid on my hand mixer, which just quit working. Although it is an 'older' model and 'out of warranty;' it has been used, at the most, 15 times. I still have the box. My mother had a mixer 10-15 years older than mine, and it still worked. I couldn't understand why this product, barely used, just up and quit. I called the customer service 800# and got transferred to the small appliance center. I was hopeful that someone there would offer me 'something, ' such as replacement info, discount on the next mixer, etc...The first person that I spoke to, offered no help or compensation. Other than, go spend $40-$100 on a new one because your product is 'out of warranty.' Which, by the way, is only 1 year. Upset, I told her this was ridiculous. She then tells me it's like a car warranty. Really? Car warranties last 4-6 years - Your lousy product only has one. I then ask for her supervisor. She tranfers me to a guy, who says his name is Larry. Larry's customer service skills are horrible. He was condescending, talked over me numerous times, arrogant, and even starting yelling at me! This is the type of supervisors they employ. Not once, did he offer me some type of compensation. When I asked him for his manager, he refused and told me to 'write a letter.' No email, no phone number, no names = no response from the higher ups because they don't care! I then called the corporate office (they DO have a complaint office there, Larry, by the way). I spoke to a Jacqueline who offered me an apology and 10% off my next mixer. Gee. She said that she would forward my issue to the 'executive team' who reviews complaints...I know I won't hear back on my poor experience. No more KitchenAid or Whirlpool for me.

Poor Customer Service
Purchased products through Doug White. Everything was fine as it should have been, until the KitchenAid Induction Cooktop quit. Took almost a month to repair. Lady answering the phone in customer service was rude. Canceled appointments, no return calls as promised. Granite chipped around cooktop and promised to repair, waited for weeks. Weeks turned into months. Nothing...no calls, just broken promises. Will let other people I know to stay away from customer service dept. My money goes where it is best treated...

a & e appliance repair and mark
My Kitchenaid Diswasher broke 13 months after I purchased it. So I contacted Kitchenaid for a repair referral. This was an on-line contact and the appointment for repair was initially made on line. Later it was rescheduled by phone by A & E appliance repair (for one week later). The appointment was for between 1:00 and 5:00 PM today. I explained to the company that it would be helpful to limit the time I have to wait because I am in treatment for cancer. At 3:00 PM the repairman called to say he would be here at 4:30 PM. I said to him "Then you won't be able to repair it because you won't have the parts." He said "I have all the parts on the truck." So he shows up at 4:30 and within two minutes says "I will have to order the parts." I said "That's what I told you!" So then he wants me to pay him $115 for coming to my house plus the cost of parts before he does anything except look at it for two minutes. I refused. I said, "You call me with the price of the parts and I will give you a credit card number for the parts, and I will pay for the installation after you actually do it." (I wasn't paying for two visits or maybe paying and never seeing again with no work done!) He refused. That was it. I sent him away. His demeanor was also pretty aggressive and abusive and if I had been truly elderly, or even sicker than I am, I probably would have been intimidated and frightened and paid him as he demanded, for doing nothing. WHAT IS KITCHENAID AND WHIRLPOOL THINKING USING THIS KIND OF SERVICE?! A & E [protected]. AND I LOOKED AROUND ON LINE. I AM NOT THE FIRST, BUT THE FIRST OF MANY, TO HAVE A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. I would not purchase again from Kitchenaid or any company that would refer to this kind of repair service.

multiple problems with oven
We bought a rather high end kitchenaid gas range in Oct 2005 - we were told it would arrive in 2 weeks - never got it until March 2006, then when it was delivered the entire side was smashed in...or course we refused it. when the 2nd range was delivered the oven door was cocked, but we took the range anyway...we had been without for so long we just wanted the darn range. The oven takes anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour to preheat to 350. Gotten a message to "insert probe" - when I'm not even using the range at all...the only way to correct it is to turn off the breaker for an hour then back on. A while back my oven would not turn off! Since it is gas this was a real concern...had to cut the gas to the range, turn off the breaker, wait, then turn everything back on...that seemed to do the trick...a few months after that the oven would do nothing! it was a bad board, which had to be replaced...now the oven will not heat up...i hear the ignighters although they sound different, but nothing happens. So another service and more money!
KitchenAid claims there are no problems with their ranges and that all the complaints online are just made up...Oh one more thing...Because we ordered (and paid for) our range in October 2005 that is when the warranty started...Doesn't matter that we never got it until March 2006. What a company! Will not be purchasing anything from them ever again.

I am having problems with my ovens, it seems that they either cook to fast or when baking my cakes all fall in the middle of the bake. Try the calibration did not work. What can I do? Didn't know that people were having problems with Kitchenaid, if I did I would never have purchase this stove. It also does not seem to have a difference in the level of heat on the burners, tried to simmer something and if I had not been watching it would have burnt.
I almost bought a KitchenAid range model KGRS202BBL today at Orville's. But after reading all the bad reviews online about customer service, I have decided to look at other ranges. Definitely not the same company that made my 35 year old mixer.
