Complete BS
I have dealt with them for over a month or so and after experiencing a compromised bank account, not because of them, and attempting to get them to adjust a repayment date by two days or change the account information that it’s coming from for me “they’re not capable of doing that”.
I can honestly say after this one goes through & I am charge $30 by the bank, I’m closing out my account. I don’t care if I lose what points I have built, but I will never recommend this app! t
Recommendation: Stay away!!!!
Lots of Work
The app in service is OK but it’s a lot of work to get a Cash Advance that you still have to pay fees for. Other apps you can just apply for the advance and pay the fee. We have the points and then still pay a fee so it’s a lot.
Even when you do it to help with the fees, the amount of points you need to even get $.50 off is so crazy. Use the points system to increase the amount you can get or to decrease fees or to extend repayment dates or something to that nature but the way you have it set up now it’s just too much work unless you really really need it and even if you really really need it they are just other apps out here that don’t require all of this. I like the concept but I think it just needs to be tweaked a little bit so it can be user-friendly worth while to the user. People aren’t going to spend an hour on your app trying to get $50 when they can just go to another app, spend the same amount in fees and get $50 in less than 10 or 15 minutes. Even with that though I think your site is awesome especially being able to link the stuff that you use like places, you shop and etc. Maybe you could even add in gas points or something. You have a great concept it just seems like it’s not synthesized for the actual user. Once you make that connection, I think this would really top the others. I hope this helps and thanks for asking for my feedback and of course thanks for the advance lol.
Eh, not great in comparison to competitors
Firstly, as a person who has a long-standing consistent direct deposit history with a relatively high-earning occupation, the most I have ever qualified for is $45 off the bat. If I factor in the “points system” (which I have mixed good and bad feelings about), the maximum has been $70. This is typically during a week where I work many days in a row and allow my location services to be on at all times with this app. During weeks of paid vacation, I’ve seen this drop down to $10 (LOL) I regularly log into upload receipts, as I use several receipt tracking apps for points. NEVER have I seen anywhere near the $130 advertised all over the place. The interface/design of the app is lovely & modern. The “instant” boost costs $9 and is processed the following business day if requested after 10:30AM CST (rendering the “instant” perk virtually useless and an unnecessary $9 fee (which is also by far the highest “instant” fee among its competitors). When I add up all these irritating obstacles and shortcomings, I find myself using this particular app among the last if I find myself in a pinch in need of cash, as I know the reality is I may receive $25 in like five business days in most scenarios. Typically, my cash flow situation is solved by then, rendering this app more tedious and useless. FYI, apps like Solo, Branch, MoneyLion, Brigit, and even FloatMe have actual “Instant” perks which cost half are literally instant.
Gaining points
Hello!
I have been a Klover user now for a couple months but only took a advance out now twice. The process is understood but tedious than most, here’s why: - when you need an advance you must gain 600 points for $5. How you’d earn these points is by ad watching, which would give you 10 points each ad. Sometimes though, using the ‘watch ad’ tab DOES NOT always give you the points. Instead it’ll go to a progress bar called “watched ads” where you can watch 20 ads for 200 points.
You have several options to scan receipts, as well as logging into your Walgreens, CVS etc accounts to also gain points. Would I recommend Klover - Yes and No - here’s why - if you need a advance and you have the points and the correct bank for it, you will get the payment.
Here’s why No - due to the fact you have to gain points in order to get your advance, without a lot of ways to gain quick points it will kind of make people go to MoneyLion or Dave. I also find it unfair because most of the time you do not gain the points you did a survey for or made a account for.
I recommend if you are going to use Klover, make sure you don’t need the money at that moment. You will need spare time to work for the points. Also, leave a couple points within your account as well as open the app everyday to gain 5 or 10 points. Lastly, they now offer the option that your 5 recent transactions within your bank account, can now be claimed for 5 points within the Klover app.
Horrible support
The app is great if it’ll work! I rarely ever write reviews but support refuses to respond to my messages so I’m hoping to reach someone this way. I’d be happy to change to 5 stars if someone will help me. First off, they offer E receipts. In order to claim them you have to forward the E receipts to the email they have posted. I forwarded 30-40 E receipts and never received a single credit for a single one. I’m sent several messages to support just to be ignored. Second they offer for you to complete surveys to get bonuses. The survey always crash before you can complete them. Therefore you can never get any of the points to get the bonuses. I’ve contacted support repeatedly regarding this just to be ignored as well. They also offer participation in offers. I’ve done this as well with several of their affiliate companies. Never received half of my bonus points for these. Again contacted support several times to be ignored even more. You have to jump through hoops to ever get bonuses and then they still make you pay back the bonuses that you actually EARNED. I’m sorry but if you spent money, time, so on those bonuses shouldn’t be paid back. And why isn’t support responding to your customers? Is someone going to finally respond to me? Like I said I’d be more than happy to switch to five stars and rewrite my review if someone from support would actually help me. I’ve been using this app almost a year and it never used to have issues. Thank you so kindly for helping me.
I agree 100% they've not given me almost 8000 in points I've sent proof after proof of doing these offers than I got a 150 advance made me payback 2 damn days later it was 1700 points to get 150 now it's 5000 points to get 100 customer service is a damn joke they send generic email saying got ur support ticket will get back to u buy of course THEY NEVER EVER DO especially when ut comes to points not received than my retailer accts won't connect keep saying wrong login info which isn't true if they do connect they disconnect 5 min ltr when uploading receipts they will say duplicated receipt even tho it's not my frustration level is at 100 I really need this advance but 5000 points it's too damn much especially when they refuse to credit u points or answer your question as to why ur not getting the credit been 5 mo of asking about the missing points
Do NOT Waste your time
I do not like this app at all. First It won’t link my debit card for some reason. Only to find out that this is a huge problem for many people trying to use this app. Then, multiple transactions were taken from my debit card but never refunded. I don’t understand how you couldn’t link my debit card but you were able to take multiple transactions from my account. I can’t boost any advances because they claim that my debit card won’t link, but my bank account linked just fine,so it’s pointless. I’m not about to keep trying to link my debit card because every time I do, something is taken from it. It may be only a few cents but those few cents add up to dollars when it’s done multiple times. Then when you ask for help from someone they have no solution to the problem. So this app is basically useless. I feel like it’s just a way to get peoples bank account info. Because any of the other apps I’ve ever used like Dave,Albert or Earnin, never had 1 issue with connecting my card. There is also a chat forum in the app with multiple people having issues linking their debit card. If this is a system wide issue then why is it not resolved? Or why is the app even running? Because the whole point of the app is to borrow money. Of no one can do that then the app is pointless. I also don’t like the fact that I have to submit a request just to close my account. You can’t force someone to keep an account. If I want to close my account I should be able to do so without having to ask for permission.
STAY AWAY!
This app is such a scam, the reviews must be fake. I set up my account and they make you verify your email address and input your card information. Before you can get an advance they have to validate the method of payment so they charge your card small cents. I have verified my card 2x’s and never received the option to get an advanced even though they texted me stating “ Hey it's Klover! Great news, you're qualified for a cash advance with points! Open the app to see your advance amount:” when you click on the app it literally only shows the options to put my card in again. I DONT THINK SO. They literally will just keep taking cents out and it may not be a lot but I’m sure it will add up if you keep putting your card information in with nothing to show for. And OMG to top it off there is no customer service, I have tried to get in contact with them and there is no way to do so…there’s suppose to be a number but AGAIN it’s a scam the phone does not even have a direct line and repeats the same message. “Hello this is Carla the voice of Klover thank you for contacting us due to increase in call volume we asked that you reach out to our customer support team by selecting help from the account menu within your Klover App thanks for calling and we hope to hear from you soon” I have tried the help center and contacting them and NO RESPONSE . DONT USE THIS APP. I don’t want to give them any stars. Use, Earnin, Dave, Brigit, FloatMe or Empower to name a few that I have seen with successful advances and much easier to navigate.
Horrible user experience and terrible customer service
I can’t say anything good about this app really. Once you rack up points by watching ridiculous videos and scanning receipts your points go up and are able to receive an increased boost. The monetary amount of the boost doesn’t really add up to much to speak of in the first place. If you do get an initial boost, mysteriously your debit card unlinks and you are thrown into a mysterious wait list. This is all after they have already charge you a ten dollar fee and a two dollar membership fee. If you try to reach out to customer service it’s a losing battle. I think Klover has three people working in their customer service department at maximum. It takes days upon days to receive a response if you are lucky enough to get one. The issue with the cars unlinking is obviously a pervasive one they are aware of as they have added it to their faq’s but seem to have done nothing to ameliorate it. It’s pretty ridiculous to think that a company with a finance based app has no fix on a matter like this. If your debit card unlinked when it was your time to pay back your money and fees I’d bet they would have a fix for that and hound users incessantly. This leads me to believe that this app is a scam, and a pretty petty scam to get fees out of users and never give them the option to get a “boost” ever again. A good company would provide quality support, user experience and customer service to ensure they have repeat customers who remain pleased with their service - Klover is none of these. Klover is worthless, so don’t waste your time.
Good if you want an advance based of
Good if you want an advance based off the amount of points you gain from signing up with their partners, watching videos, etc.. I got a $30 advance off of 900 points. Transaction fee of $4.95 for immediate deposit into your account which is pretty unfair i would say in my opinion. Considering they are making all this money off of transaction fees- they could atleast make the advance amount a lot higher than what it is. It’s misleading initially in the advertisement- as far then giving you an up to $200 advance. I’m still waiting on them to verify my bank account and I swore that’s what the advance was based off—meaning deposits that are going into your bank account. I still have to rate the “Dave” app as the best. Because it was instant to receive my $100 advance with Dave- all I had to do was link my Varo bank account and proof of deposits is what he looks for! With Klarna I’ve done everything under the sun for the Klarna points to get an advance and I just don’t have the time to keep doing survey after surgery ad after ad, watch video after video, and signup after signup- Im a single mother with 2 kids and one is 18 months old it just not feasible. Seems like it’s impossible to get even a $100 advance. Every 900 points is a $30 Boost which REALLY isn’t $30 once you subtracts the $5 transaction fee to get the money Instantly. DAVE IS YOUR BEST BET. Unless you have time to watch these ads and scan receipts etc etc to earn boost points in order to get yourself a $30 Boost (a boost is they’re “term” for what is really an advance.
Annoying - shop around for better apps people!
So, here’s my main issue with KLOVER.
OTHER payday loan apps allow you to tell them what day of the week you want your payback debit to come out. KLOVER “automatically detects” the date your check hits the bank and calculates your payback date based on that. This is a problem for me because my check doesn’t hit the bank until after 6 pm. So, the KLOVER debit comes out BEFORE my check hits. And that means if I don’t have enough money to cover it it’s going to cause me to overdraft. What the heck is the point of a payday loan that you have to payback BEFORE you get paid?!?! NONE! There is no way to change the date - so I am screwed.
Another thing about KLOVER that is not as good as OTHER apps is that the loan amounts available are lower than other apps. I have one app that will give me up to $800 after using it for awhile. Another app I can get $250. I can only get $100 on KLOVER.
Also, the fee for withdrawal is $8.50 which is significantly more than OTHER payday apps I have used. The only saving Grace here is that if you have a lot of time on your hands to do random stuff like watch videos you can earn points to reduce the fee. That’s the only reason I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1. I don’t really have that kind of time but I’m sure some people do.
Furthermore, they have ZERO customer service (unlike OTHER payday apps) No chat, no phone line etc. just write them an email and hope they get back to you within a couple days. Which is probably why I’m writing here instead of talking to them.
Bottom line - Klover needs improvement.
It seems everyone agrees their customer service is a joke they owe me over 8000 in points yet they refuse to acknowledge it even w proof of getting app and using it snd on most cases paying for it they have refused to acknowledge missing points for months now im beyond frustrated than they used 1700 points gave me 150 advance but took ont 2 damn days ltr wat good is this and now it's 5000 points to get 100 thats a ridiculous amount of points especially after taking all those points fpr a 2 day advance im so pissed if I desperately didn't need this money fie chemo than I wouldn't bother
Not committed to help the lower class working people AT ALL
Ok so first off it doesn’t accept chime back which I get my checks deposited there so I can get them early. A LOT of people working to get by use these online types of bank so they do not have to pay crazy bank fees! Believe me I HAVE to have my capital one account due to the fact that my child’s father transfers my child support there directly from his account and it’s ridiculous they charge me $12 a month just to keep it open! Second, I went to read the requirements after I tried connect my bank and it didn’t work and some of the reviews. I don’t know where everyone is getting $900 deposit but 13 days ago Karla posted on their site under the requirements question deposits must be a $1000? If I made a $1000 a week I wouldn’t need help between paychecks! THIRD this must have $1000 deposits makes no sense to me so if I was paid biweekly and made $450 a week it would be ok but because I get deposits of $800 a week I wouldn’t be eligible?
I do not think this app was all the way thought out before they released it. It need A LOT of work and it is targeting the wrong working class. I guess this is more for people who have budgeting problems (like myself I won’t lie) than people who are actually struggling to get by from pay check to pay check unless you are lucky enough to get paid bi weekly on that case u can have a salary less than me and you will qualify where as I will not! Get with it Klover maybe you should have been a little more patient in releasing your app before you get more negativity than positive word of mouth and you lose customers before your app even gets off the ground, once you get a bad name it’s very hard to come back from that! FIX IT NOW!
Not Impressed
I have used a few different apps like this one in the past, and wanted to give this one a try. I created my account and was immediately approved for $110 advance. I went down the checklist to complete setup and get the advance. When I went to link my debit card, I kept getting error messages. I was finally able to put it in, and it said that my card was in verification process, and it could take a few days. Today, I went into the app to see if my card had been verified yet, only to have another error message waiting for me stating the card couldn’t be verified. Not only that, but the bank account balance is wrong in the app. When I created my Klover account, I had a positive balance in my bank account, but it was-$3 available. Klover would not allow me to link my debit card if it was negative, so I went ahead and deposited a couple hundred dollars in the bank, so I could link my debit card and try the app. Well, here we are a few days later, and Klover still shows the bank account available balance of -$3, which is way off.
I’m lucky because I didn’t actually NEED this advance. If I had, this entire experience would have been very upsetting. I would recommend looking elsewhere for apps that do advances. Brigit, Dave and Earnin are all decent. My only gripe with Dave and Brigit is that you have to pay a monthly subscription fee (same with this app). Earnin has crap customer service. I have had really good experience with Possible, though. I applied for a loan with them, and I had the money in my account in less than 15 minutes. Plus, they break the payments up over several pay periods, and help improve your credit. However, there is interest with Possible, as it is a loan.
DONT DO IT
The app was simple enough to use. All you have to do is disclose every bit of personal information you can possibly think of as quickly as possible, or you’re not eating tonight. The free gift cards and such are absolute nonsense. You have to download and play games to a certain level to qualify. Most of the games I looked into you’d have to spend money to qualify in a timely manner, but to my surprise (sarcasm) the app didn’t notice I met my obligation to receive a $100 Lowe’s gift card. Now I’m told I have to do FIVE requests to qualify.
Some of these requests are like: Wager $10 on MGMs gambling app, Subscribe to Disney+ and HULU…all the things you’ve seen before in every other app that has plummeted to the bottom of your search results inside the App Store.
If you’re lucky enough to score an advance to eat tonight, have electricity for your kids, keep your car..etc who knows if you’ll qualify again. Nobody is here to borrow money to get that purse or watch they’ve had their eye on. Let’s be real.
But here’s the best part! Now that I’ve tried several of their PARTNER requests my phone is being blown up by calls from our favorite country: INDIA! Now I get to be cussed at in Hindi and broken English all day everyday! I’m so excited.
I also received a call from a woman in the US who forgot the name of the company she was scamming for while she was speaking to be perfectly fair. She must have too many scripts.
If you want a no nonsense advance that won’t break you, traumatize you or make you want to jump out a window stick with: Money Lion, Albert, Brigit or Empower. Don’t overextend yourself. You’ll be fine.
You’ll be hearing from the offices of Letitia James and the ComplaintsBoard.com.
Just like the Dave app but better
There’s a handful of barrow before payday apps on the market place. We all know that and some of you folks when you receive a request to join Klover will probably think it’s either not legit or that it’s a scam to get your bank account info. But klover only requires your bank info so you can receive your advance into your bank. In some ways klover is almost similar to the dave app but also does have it’s differences as well. Klover tracks your expenses and breaks them down into each category and as well as I think most of us know dave app has that same feature. The thing I like about Klover that separates it from the dave app is you scan your receipts in which you’ve made purchases with from the bank card u have connected to the Klover app. Each receipt you scan as long as the merchandise that was purchased was with the same card as the one you link with Klover it will grant you 50 points that you can use to get your advance before payday. The more receipts you save and scan the more points you will rack up which results in a higher advance amount. So if you are someone who already saves their receipts why not scroll up to the top of this page right now and download this amazing app! I’ve referred some of my friends and family and each referral got me 600 points which adds up to $20 when you go to redeem so say you have a family of five with in your home or maybe even just a couple of friends you have doesn’t really matter. If you get 5 people to sign up that’s 3000 points right there which 600 points is equal to $20 and $20 times 5 referrals equals $100 advance! So you tell me... is it worth it?
Hold on... I’ll answer for you... Heck yeah it is!
Alright enough reading for now. You know what to do ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Disappointed again
I wrote this Jan 18th 2023 ⬇️. I got a response which you can read. I did exactly what the person wrote and email the support center. Explained what was up and AGAIN- did not fix the problem. This is sad. I cannot express how much I really did and APPRECIATED this app. Now, I am officially done. Two times of the app not working, two times being failed from support and two times proving I am doing everything right and in great standings just to be disappointed again.

I have had this up for a minute now. Day one to about 5wks ago I had no issues. I did all the points & I paid everything I borrowed on time. The app was easy to use & understand. Everything was perfect UNTIL it wasn’t! I went from earning 1500 to 2000 points for 130$ each pay period. Again, my account was in great shape! Never late and never missed paying it back! Then about 5wks ago, the app would let me earn the same points but for less then earlier. One pay period I had 1300 points and it would only let take 70$. I wasn’t too upset with that amount. Again, thinking there was an issue on their side and it would be corrected. This last pay period I earned 1200 points and could only take out 20$. I contacted customer service thinking I had done something wrong, missed an update or they were having issues. Customer service said they couldn’t override the system. They said whoever made the app decides what’s what. When I asked them to look at my history to see I was always in good standings. They replied I was right but nothing they can do. What’s the point in having customer service if all they can do is answer questions but not be able to help. Why bother going thru the procedure of points just to be jerked around and only be able to take 20$ when I’ve done nothing wrong and in good standings? I am really disappointed and made to feel like I’ve done something wrong when I have not.
Pls tell me how u even got ahold of customer service im having same issues been using tbis app weekly getting 100 everytime than they refused to give me over 8000 in points even w all the proof of getting apps they never ever reply to ky requests for yelp just keeps sending generic email that says got my request will get back to ke asap but thru never answer me I got advance on 1st they used all my points than took p n t 2 damn days ltr which us insane especially that niw its 5000 points to get 100 ice never had to ger that many points this app waa amazing at 1st now it's purev[censored]
Waste of Time
I have had this app for nearly 2 years. So what I say comes with experience. This app RARELY runs smoothly. It doesn’t matter how often you keep the app or your phone up to date. The app kicks you out of your account, then forces you to create a new password because suddenly the one you were using is invalid. I have had to change my password 4 times in one day.
In order to get money, you have to do things in the app. Not fun things. But like provide your receipts (which never works. There is always some error not allowing your receipts to not be scanned), do surveys(which even when finished the points go AWOL and you are left without the promised points and 30 mins of your time wasted), and or having you go through their partnerships, which again collect your information and scams you out of your points? Yeah no.
On top of that. You have to have so many “points” in order to cash out. 300-400 for 10$ up to 900 for 50$. And those points dont come easy. Because the surveys you click on will automatically file you as an unfit participant. So you can run out of surveys and be left watching ADs for 10 pts a piece. I am not entertaining their partnerships. Because I have yet to see any points come from them at all.
But lets also talk about how the app will KICK you from your banking info making you have to input it again after EVERY single repayment you do. As well as your card details, only to say… “say it with me now”
“Error connecting to your bank”
There are so many errors in this app by itself I have to remind myself my phone is not the problem. It is the app. Yall would be better off using Earing, Albert, Bridgit, and MoneyLion. Not this. This needs a lot of work to be a functioning app. They are now charging you 2.49 a month for things that with their track record probably will not be a benefit to you because the application log and in general needs a reworked interface. Do not download this app unless you plan to waste time, oh and pay a repayment fee close to $10 dollars+ each time. I mean it. I borrowed 50$. I had to pay back 62.12$
No thanks. I will stick to the other apps. This is a huge rip off.
Great app!
Honestly, i had doubts about this app when I first got it. I use many cash advance apps but this one is one that I use the most often. The ONLY thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars, is the receipt loading function. In order to get the max “boost” possible (that is what they call the cash advance) you need to cash in 900 points. Every single time you want to take out the max possible. And if you do not take the max possible to begin with, you can’t go back and take more later on. You have to pay back whatever you took and then you can take more. So you need to have those 900 points up front. In order to earn points, there are a bunch of things you can do. Take surveys (it says you can get up to like 1000 points but I literally have never gotten more than 10 points on a survey), complete partner offers (usually buying something or signing up for something), or the one I primarily use is loading receipts. If the transaction matches your connected bank account transaction history you get 50 points. Any other receipts get 5. However; I have been having a RIDICULOUS amount of problems loading my receipts. Either the app doesn’t accept them or they only give me 5 points when it should be 50. I am working with their tech team to get it fixed, so I can update this when that happens. But I’ve had the app for a year and I’ve had more problems than not with these receipts. However, the support team is great. They always give me the points I actually deserve. And I have nothing but nice things to say about their support team. If you have an older phone, don’t bother using the app because it won’t work right. It needs to be an iPhone 8 or newer. Overall, I think this app is great. I def recommend people try it out, but take screenshots/video records of EVERYTHING in the event you run into an error of some kind. You will need screenshots or a video recording of it actually happening to send to the support team in the event of an error. But other than that, I say go for it. If you are in need of a boost and have no where else to turn, this is a great app to help hold you over until payday when you are low - they certainly have helped me!
Almost perfect
I was on the waitlist for nearly two months, I understood that they were overflowing with requests due to the pandemic, I waited patiently and had positive communication with the staff. Their customer service, application performance and features are great, but there was one major flaw that presents a massive issue, in my opinion.
I practice regular password changes for my most sensitive accounts. My most changed passwords are for my financial accounts, which is a very positive and responsible practice.
After I was accepted to Klover’s waitlist, I didn’t immediately use the service, as I had them only for a dire emergency. The instant transfer fee of 7.50 is at the higher end of the scale, but cheaper than an overdraft charge.
I had changed my password as I always do and was cycling through my applications to see which ones I needed to update with my new information. When I entered the Klover app, it stated that it was unable to connect with my bank. I went to my account information and was unable to edit anything that had to do with my bank account and naturally, my instant money transfer protection I had waited quite some time for was removed.
Customer service stated that they do not allow customers to edit their own passwords and that I would be “unable to move forward”. She noted that it was something they were considering adding in the future.
Considering? Unable to move forward? I’m still in a state of disbelief over this. This application preaches financial responsibility, but shuns customers who adequately protect their accounts by rotating passwords? That is my bank account, are they serious about “considering” to allow customers to edit their banking information?!
This is a huge red flag for me. At first I was understanding, but their silence to my questions has made me concerned about their having had access to my personal data. No one creates an application that stores users personal information and prevents them from editing it after the fact.
I’m both insulted and appalled. I unfortunately would have to recommend that people stay away from this application until that flaw has been addressed. It’s a shame, they seemed to have so much positive potential.
Are you stealing our info???
I read a review that was on point my experience! Everyone READ! since connecting my retailer account Starbucks EVERYTIME I log in I’m getting security codes from Starbucks AS IF IM LOGGING IN, I Have 2step security enabled with my Starbucks so tell me why KLOVERS APP is causing security log in codes to come to my phone! Also I have had several notifications from my provider of my name number email and others on the black web and my SS NUMBER BEING EXPOSED. Klover may or may not be related but I will tell you I’ve never had these happen before.
I’ve also noticed discrepancies on my bank account, I’m having my bank look into the pattern and hoping it’s not Klover but if it is I will go the proper channels. Also it has loaned me money and less than 24hourS took it from my account and made me pay the fees when I finally got a response it was” there must have been a system error so therefore it took it right back, okay…. So the fees should also be reversed yes? Also I have paid back all my loans and they are now changing to small ten dollar amounts . And as someone stated before you get a 75-100 loan when you have 1k in your bank but 10 dollars when you have 200
Like do u think people need the advance when they have money? It’s a ploy to get people stuck in this circle of getting the advance ahead of time when they don’t need it at that moment but afraid they may so they get it AHEAD OF TIME . And yes, the point system is insane and I’m seeing the connect your retailer accounts it’s all to get your info whether they are selling it, studying your spending and selling that data
Whatever I am taking my complaint further and i will not stop. it’s the principal of what their doing and all the info they require doesn’t add up or make sense. I truly hope for no retailiatiom on my accounts because as stated I will be relentless in shining a light on this company
I am a stay at home mom with 2 special needs children and a husband who just had a brain tumor removed and I rely on try help out there and I ALWAYS PAY BACK so if u ask me an app like this should be give, take not give take take play change and give me more info about you also
I truly hope Klover isn’t responsible for my issues because it would be a good app/company if it changed some things around
Extremely inconvenient
First time I downloaded it I thought it was interesting but they literally missed the target of the purpose of this kind of app. This app is more of like Fetch in terms of scanning receipts and watching their ads(they get their ad revenue) and you swap the points for maybe $5. I borrow $50 I pay them back plus tip and then I can only cash out 1/2 of that the next time (so $25) I spend 3 hours collecting points again to get what I need which was the $100 and then I pay back $110ish (their tip included for their staff) and then I’m only qualifying for $10. I sign out sign back in thinking it’s a glitch but then I only can cash out $5 but that’s not enough to cash out! I need a minimum of $10 to be eligible to cash out. Guess what! I need 600 points for $5 now where as 600 points was $30 in the pst. They expect you to be consistent but yet they’re beyond inconsistent in themselves in assisting you and getting cash when you need it. My direct deposits have not changed but increased since downloading the app. This app isn’t for the people it’s about the creators making as much money as they can through Ad Revenue and partnership offers with third party companies that won’t in turn get you those points after completing those surveys. Don’t waste your time take your energy to better apps like Dave, Brigit, and Earnin. I love these apps they remain consistent with the objective of their app. If you like watching ads and scanning receipts for points then this might be your thing. BUT - Fetch also out competes them in this because they offer more points for your receipt which in turn you can redeem for larger cash pools such as $50 gift card or card of your choice through their dozens of partners that work with them. This app so far is on the bottom of the list for receipt scanning (Fetch offers more) and is on the bottom also for instant cash advance as the three other competitors offer higher payouts - less efforts (you just pay them back and you’re ready to go and even get larger payouts as you remain consistent on paying them back). So I don’t see what this app is good for tbh. This has been my experience hopefully I’m the only one who’s experienced this and their team can reach out and resolve this. I enjoy using these apps because it allows more freedom with my money when I need it. So far this has only stressed me out and left me confused.

Cash advances never received or point back for it
Though i was skeptical of the site i gave it a try & on January 27th i earned enough points for a $20 advance as well as enough to process it within an hour. Ran into small problem connecting my debit card bit got it resolved & after 2 days nothing had happened. But then suddenly that evening my bank app showed klover had did verification process which I'm...

I last used klover over 18 months ago for their quick small loans. I never signed up for klover plus and haven't even thought about klover since then. These scumbags all of a sudden are charging me for the [censored]ty kloverplus that charges for credit reports and monitoring that I get for free from credit Karma and discover.
They are refunding my $3.99 which may take "up to 2 weeks" but refuse to provide any information which is exactly why I've contacted Postal inspectors, FBI, FTC and my next step will be secret service.
Claimed loss: 3.99
Desired outcome: Names of those involved and want them terminated.Deletion of my infoCompensation for my time trying to get someone who isn't in a 3rd world phone bank to speak with me

“Instant advance deposit”
I got an advance through Klover and agreed to pay the 1.99 instant deposit to my debit card option it’s been a few hours and I still have not received it, this isn’t my first time doing this to the same bank account. I’m mad I’m paying extra to not receive my advance immediately. I ALSO HAD TO COME UP WITH 1,200 POINTS TO EVEN GET THE ADVANCE. Which is crazy that I had to earn the 1,200 points, and still have to pay it back, because I earned the $5! That’s insane!
Claimed loss: $6.79
Desired outcome: I would like to not have to repay the advance for this inconvenience.

Points not being added/harrassment
Hello, i have submitted multiple video's recording my phone screen, taking screen shots of what and where they needed the proof. Yet every time a new rep answers the email thread that i have with klover they ask for proof that i have resent 5 times, and that i can no longer waste my time looking for within the thread just to point it out to them again, just cause they didn't bother looking at the prrof the 5 times i did send it i keep getting harrasses by them asking for the proof.
The email tread i have with klover is long but they don't even bother looking for the things i have sent. At this point they got my nerves rattled and pissed! i am missing 400 points for signing up with mulipile retailers and adding 2 more emails and yet they keep apologizing because its a new rep every time and asking for the proof they already have!
Desired outcome: MY 400 POINTS AND WAVING FEE'S DUE TO THE STRESS LEVEL I HAVE BEEN PUT THROUGH FOR THE PAST 3 WEEKS!! ALSO I SPENT A LOT OF TIME GOING OVER THE TREAD RE-SAVING THE PROOF ON MY DESKTOP COMP AND RESENDING IT TO THEM 5 TIMES!!
Klover
I've used this app for quite awhile but all of the sudden it's been a nightmare nit getting points for completing offers and it takes forever for them to respond to email and the customer service number is a joke they never have anyone available to talk to. I've sent the exact same questions and issues for 2 mo now first trying to sign up my retailer accts to get points for that they say it's wrong sign in which I know isn't true than pomits for connecting emails I connected 3 should have gotten 600 points but nope completed several offers and instead of getting points I have to ho back email support get proof if completing offer and still gotta fight for points rt now they charge 5000 points for a 100 advance than charge 15 to get advance sent to you than it's only for 1 week it seems that since you have to get so many points to get advance they wouldn't charge so much to get it very unhappy with how much app has changed and customer service really leaves something to be desired
Desired outcome: Would like them to fix the issues of not getting points once offer completed not getting points for connecting email and the retailer accounts not working right
Klover app
I’ve tried multiple times to log into my clover account it repeatedly asked me if I already have an account which I do proceeds to send me to the login page and I just keep doing this over and over and over again it won’t let me login I’ve used clover before forecast advancement I’ve deleted the app and re-added the app and I still can’t log in nor can I reach anybody at customer service
Desired outcome: I’d like to be able to log into my account like a normal person.
Unauthorized withdrawals from my account
I am almost in tears right now because I am so upset over this PREDATORY app. I have been using it for around 4 months now, without issues. I pay the monthly $3.99 fee, and have been using the app every paycheck and have paid back EVERY time I have borrowed the cash advance, and paid it ON TIME.
This pay period they have now collectively taken $50 from my account.
I now have no money for food for my dog, or to put gas in my car because of this. I am FURIOUS. I work very hard for my money, and they just TAKE IT repeatedly from me! I have screenshots of my account to prove these charges. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE.
Desired outcome: I would just like my $50 back immediately.
Not a care in the world about their customer base
First of all, despite having fully repaid anything I ever borrowed from this app and having then requested a complete deletion of my account and being told my account was removed. However, here they are trying to pull out $4.00 from my checking account again. Considering i deleted my account, i find this absolutely ridiculous.
Not only that but since i noticed the aforementioned attempted charges to my bank account, I decided to login to the app to see why. Oddly, my password didn't work. I sent a password reset request. I received an email containing the reset link. The link very prominently displays it's "https" wording in the link text within the email. Great, but when you actually click on the link you're forwarded to an insecure page that does not use ssl certificates. This is 2022, and let's encrypt literally gives away SSL certificates. There is absolutely no excuse for any company, especially one that offers financial services to leave their users unprotected like this. In fact, I think there might even be laws against this.

Scam, misleading, and just pointless !
So im eligible for $100 advance BUT every time i try to complete or sign up for the 4000 point offers….the app connected to those 4000 points either doesn't load, wont send verification email etc yet the smaller point ones will with no problem. Im starting to feel like you guys intentionally rig these points to keep people from getting the advance. Be honest because noone is going to join 25 plus apps or links to get that. Why make it so hard and you guys have our banking info? If the person is paying it back, is in need of the advance, why be so complicated ? You dangle it and take advantage of people who may be in need? Thats decent to you guys? Right now id need to get 3,500 points to cash out $100? Huh ? Thats so many spamming apps. At this point can you just delete my account , im going to leave my review and not look back. I did one measley advance and the next 1 has triple the points to cash out, ? make it make sense and be for the people and not greedy to the people. Its 2nd hand embarressment seeing a “referral” option - never again

Alright, could be better
Getting points is harder than they make it out to be, I watched probably 50 videos for points, it only gave me point for 5. It also says Dollar General receipts are worth 2x the points, all of the ones I scanned match transactions in my bank account but it said they didn’t do I didn’t get the double points. It also won’t allow me to connect my retailer accounts, gives me an error saying my login information is wrong (it’s not I changed it right before trying) and it’s impossible to get ahold of support in a timely manner. Also, you can use points to pay the instant transfer fee, but they want you to use the same amount of point for that fee as you are using for the advance… it should line up with the amount of points you need per $10 advance (300 points = $10, so the fee of $4.99 should only cost 150 points, not $900 when you’re trying to get $30)
If you fix the issue of only giving points for 5 videos a day, allowing people to use less points to get instant transfers and also sticking to what you say about double points, I will update the star rating.

Shop around first
Loved it at first , no other stuff thrown in . Just direct and to the point. I even started saving receipts for the first time in my life . And then the bank issue. It is important to update your login credentials every few months to keep your accounts as secure as possible. The fact that you can not just unlink the bank acct and re-link backup bc someone changed their bank login info is, for lack of a better word, shocking. Tbh I thought they were lying to me until I saw all these other comments. The best part, which isn’t where I spent months paying on time etc never late to be banished, it was where when I asked if there was a timeline, I was told I don’t qualify- which didn’t even make sense nor what I was asking. That’s it , they never responded to me again when I asked for clarification on what they meant by that. Eventually after a few days of being ignored, I asked to just delete my acct and I’d move on. Guess you’re not allowed to do that either bc I’m at 5 days and counting w/o a response. Two stars bc it had potential and im writing this on a Friday. Disappointing.

Extremely unreliable
Pleas don’t use the app, it’s unreliable at best and if it actually does give you the option to advance without using points beware you probably won’t be able to the next time. Even after clearing payment on time and waiting plenty of business days. The app is constantly behind. The surveys don’t always give you points and there’s not really much help from their team. It’s only one person who gives basic answers. I wouldn’t waste my time with it. While it may work if you use points just know that those don’t always reflect correctly. It’s a lot of work for little reward. Just save time and find another more reliable app.
***update, tried again, waited the allotted time again. Just don’t do it, the whole response from their developer team was just a way to have people think they’re helping but it’s the same old run around the same old story. Don’t do this app. You will be constantly waiting hoping they’ve updated information on their end, but also if your really in a pinch it will only work right the first time, after that it’s just a longer and longer cycle of waiting and uncertainty

Possible Improvements Implemented
I really needed a loan yesterday to pick up medication. Klover made me enter in my debit card information for the second time this week. I've taken out and repad loans before, so this made me feel suspicious of this company's practices. In addition, I was flabbergasted that this company will charge 9.99 for an instant delivery for "maybe" getting your money quickly and under 5/6 hours. However, the app finally decided to not blame my bank and I was back into the system by early a.m. today. So far, I was able to take out a small amount and I've paid 2.99 for immediate delivery. This time though, the company is guaranteeing my money will be delivered within an hour. It's been 25 minutes, so I'm hoping that the deposit will actually follow through. I'm willing to be proven wrong. One positive: I appreciate Klover having a cash out limit based on payback ability and current income. I don't mind not being able to take out the full 100 because I understand the smaller loan amount is meant to help mitigate overdrafts. So I really agree with that practice. I'm hoping this new delivery time is accurate - we'll see

Complete SCAM
This app is a SCAM….. I liked it the first few days honestly. Since then it’s been a headache.
- NO WAY TO SPEAK TO CUSTOMER SEVICE DIRECTLY (and when it concerns BANK ACCOUNTS we all know that’s usually #1 on the list of importance)
- Email them only and even then it takes DAYS EVEN WEEKS in my case.
- I had gotten the 20$ advance and have been UNABLE TO REPAY IT because of the way it’s set up. I have contact customer service through email (the only way you can contact them) and not gotten ANY HELP
-The POINTS you have to earn to get another advance is s scam within a scam! I have a quired enough points to qualify me for a $60 advance but I can’t use them because they have refused to help me pay back the little $20 advance that I had tried to pay back for weeks.
Plain simple a scam anyone that you cannot speak to you directly or even with a live chat has something to hide and I have learned that I’m trying to help you if you want to go ahead and download it be my guess but I promise you you will feel the way I feel very soon God bless and I hope they never develop that happened to us it would like to get back with me because I would be grateful

Not the best…
To start the app continuously had issues verifying my card I’d get charged multiple times on my bank statements of a few cents over and over. Even though it was a small amount it continues to say in app that I needed to verify my card in app for advance. Once I finally.. got through that I tried to do surveys and stuff I racked up almost 1000 points and tried to get an advance. I could only take 30 dollars out which was okay with me. I chose the expedited method and waited all day for an update or even the deposit itself no sign of it. Not only was there no sign of the deposit the app that continued to glitch somehow took me back to the you need to verify your card for an advance screen. Which is odd because it literally requested a deposit and was approved hours ago. There needs to be a separate way to track your deposit or even active customer service. I literally did all that work to get points for a deep and the app glitched and now it’s stuck this way. Writing this review still waiting on my deposit. Long story short DO NOT use this app huge waste of time doing surveys and earning points to be scammed out of a deposit with no active support to help resolve the issue.

Klover makes zero sense
I loved this app but it’s absolute trash now. When I was making $24/hr paid bi-weekly, it gave me access to funds I needed to pay my electric, gas, water, honestly it helped me through a lot. Then a year goes by and I’m making more at $40.50/hr. I’ve now paid off my truck, my student loans, and I had a nice savings reserve. When I first got the app I was upside-down on my payments weekly. I got my raise and was feeling great until my truck had a rocker arm break on the piston and to replace the engine I was only $70 short. I don’t have anyone to ask so I opened the app and it tells me I’m approved for $5 if I get 600 points. Even with my increased income and less money going out I can’t get approved. $5 is my maximum advance even though I finally have some money aside, less expenses, and an increased income. Not sure if the system is misreading my deposits but my account balance reflects correctly on the app. I honestly don’t suggest this app. I would have but it doesn’t make sense to waste time even if you make decent money and have consistent income. I downloaded both Empower and Albert and got $500 between the two in 10 minutes. They didn’t expect me to watch a ton of ads and they actually helped.

Money stolen from my account
I’ve used this app for about 6 months now and haven’t had any major issues until recently. This week, I noticed a random charge from Klover for $10. I ignored it, thinking maybe the monthly subscription was just higher than I remembered. The next day, another $30 was removed my account. I messaged Klover that day and received an email that someone would get back to me in 2-3 days. In the meantime, my account was close to overdrawn due to bills having just been paid and my payday coming up. I borrowed $70 from a family member to get through the end of the week and put $50 of it into my bank account. Within a few minutes of my deposit, Klover took $50 from my account. I put the other $20 in so that the account would not be empty and yet again, Klover withdrew
$20 from my account just a few minutes after deposit. I still have yet to hear from anyone in the company and had to put a freeze on my bank account to stop the fraudulent charges. I have always paid back my loan on time and have kept up with the monthly membership. I can’t see any reason for this money to have been removed from my account other than for scamming reasons. It was a very useful tool for a while, but I will be revoking my membership once this is figured out.

Klover does not work as advertised
The first time you earn points you are allowed to promptly exchange them for cash immediately without issue so I give high marks there. However, when you earn points again and try to convert them to cash,I received an error that says “It appears that you have removed your banking information recently and you’re going to have to wait a bit to add it back. try again later. “A bit”? What does that mean? I wrote support but received no reply. Well a bit means about a week.So a week later I went back and I was able to add my banking information and cash in my points I earned the previous week. Then I earned more points and the same problem again moments later. I could not cash in my points because the banking information with the same message. So, I wrote support and I got back a response three days later that said my issue was resolved and that I can add my banking information now. Well, no I can’t as I still get the same error.
I’m guessing Friday or Saturday night it will work again. It’s fine if they only want you to cash out once a week but say that in the description of Klover. Don’t use vague wording like “a bit” and don’t patronize your users by pretending you’ve resolved the issue when, I’m assuming, it’s designed to only work once a week.

WARNING: STAY AWAY. Shady and not as advertised
I never give the personal bank info they ask for like your passwords and stuff to anyone or entity ever doesn’t matter how legit or who you are but annoyed at myself for falling for exactly what was worried about..worse is can’t do much about it yet and unsure if anything will happen. All I’m going to say is they ask for all the info and process it and then nothing - they got all my info and not getting anything - don’t think they’re not checking stuff - It’s shady when they say what they require as in how long accounts been open amounts etc etc and I surpass they’re requirements by far. The reason they give that I can’t use them isn’t true, I clearly do have what they say i don’t. The to top it off you can’t delete anything. Or change anything. You can submit a request where they’ll get back to you in a few days it says but that’s it. So they have all the info I can’t delete or change anything or close account nothing they got it and won’t give me anything and now crossing my fingers they process my request who knows when. If i hear back at all but who knows I just don’t like this at all it’s not right. Even if they do i guarantee it’s going to be a back and forth long drawn out hard time if and when anything is undone. I don’t advise i warn do not use this.

Horrible!
The app was great at first, THEN when it came down to my second repayment the app became horrible! My advances were increasing then it took almost half the day for it to pull my repayment from my account and I forgot to unlock my card and now it’s not even trying to pull the payment at all which caused my advances to drop! “Customer service” is absolutely no help as they really can’t do anything and it takes them forever to respond so by the time you hear from them it’s too late! WHY can’t I make my own payment instead of waiting for the app to run it I haven’t had any issues making my payments with Dave OR Empower but KLOVER is definitely the lowest on the list for me rn! Then I’d be wrong to not even allow it to take the payment from my account. DO BETTER! Stop acting like y’all can’t make other options in 2022 almost 2023!
UPDATE *** Was already in contact with “support” they’re also no help. 5+ days past my repayment date and all they can say is it attempted multiple times even though I have notifications from my bank on both my phone and email with no attempt notifications. They claim they processed the payment which should’ve been done the day I reached out but instead made me wait another 3 days. App still isn’t refreshing my bank information and nothing loads up properly.
