Bad service and condition of the bus
We took a bus ride back from Singapore to Ayer Tawar but the bus service was terrible. The seats was too upright for a 10 hours journey and the driver was smoking throughout the journey. Not only did it smell, because the window was open, it was noisy and we couldn't really sleep during the journey. It was terrible when your seat is cannot be reclined too much plus the smell and the noise. I think the bus driver is not really considerate and this is not the first time complaint like this has been filed. I'm a heavy sleeper and I usually sleep throughout my whole journey but I can't and this means that this bus ride home was really terrible.

Poor service
My wife and i had been a regular customer to Konsortium Travel Agency for many years, always travelling to Genting Via Konsortium VIP Coach. We found that the Coach's comfort level and services were satisfactory. We Had been telling our kids about how and what we had enjoyed from Singapore-Genting-Singapore with Konsortium coach as well as the entertainment and services we had during the trip.So, on 07 september 2014 sunday during the one week holiday break, we planned this so called to be wonderful trip but never expected things to turn out disappointing, horrific and uncomfortable for our kids. we felt so embarrassed on what we had always mentioned to them about that so called enjoyable, comfortable, that in coach entertainments, services, etc. We pay that price for a round trip from singapore-genting-singapore that was reasonable but for alternate arrangement of coach replacement during unforeseen circumstances was to inappropriate and not properly managed. that was what really happened that day when we were re-arranged to two coaches with one departing Johor immigrations and the other direct to Genting. That transport from singapore was OK but the one to Genting which is so many KM from johor was a nightmare for us all(Incl. All Other Passengers). That malaysia registered coach was so run down that before getting in from the outside we could smell a stench and the interior's condition was bad with cracked window, seats were uncomfortable, engines roar like fighter's jet( we cant talk to our kids cant listen to my music, cant sleep peacefully, coach vibrate when accelerating into highways, etc) That's not all! the worst was making an accent up to genting highlands. i thought our nightmares will be ending soon but, the coach vibrated and broke down thrice. one before going up highland slope and second few KMs after the first break down that forced all passengers to alight and waited under hot sun and third was before the last few destination, ON the HIGHEST slope of Genting Highlands. the coach didnt even make it up to genting highlands when it finally broke down, slide slightly downwards and finally to stationary stop. We were all picked up by a passing malaysia coach for KL to GH, when we board that coach to our surprise it was a 100% better condition than what was used to fetch us for this long journey disappointing Genting highland trip(arranged by Konsortium). Thank God we were safe but please the management of Konsortium to take note of this, amend and better maange the alternate ways of support in time of last minute changes and please do investigate this matter seriously as all these would shatter the customers trust, company's reputaion and image.
We will continue to support Konsortium but however hoping that such a case would not happen again, if any such things should happen in the future we hope that Konsortium will make appropriate arrangement to the class of coach we paid for and also hope that all this unnecessary disappointments will be amended accordingly, improved and looking for safety aspects fo the passengers. Thank You!

Konsortium coaches very bad service and the malaysian driver very bad attitude 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👊👊👊we travel to cameron highlands and we book our ticket( 4 ) online is 18 seats, but konsortium company tranfer us to another coaches company is a malaysia coaches bus number 4680 27-28seats, the seats is very old and very narrow, when you want to adjust, the spring very lousy and nosy and very uncomfortable 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎lousy... konsortium company hope you can read this msg and update your service, people take long hours to cameron highland must arrange comfortable coaches and good service and good driver, we feel very Disappointed, never try again this konsortium, cannot be trusted company

bus spoilt at middle of road from thailand to malaysia
We bought the bus ticket from konsortium bas express at hatyai, thailand branch, beginning, our bus ticket should be 12pm (thailand time), but the bus reached the hatyai branch at 1.40pm, after that when we reached thailand kastam, we been told that we need to change the bus as the current bus is spoilt..then we force to take all the luggage and all souvenirs to walk from thailand kastam to malaysia kastam & sit for a "new bus" ( bus plate nunber is JJU 8211).This already make us feel disappointed, but now (21 april, 7pm) suddenly the bus could not functioning, this is because the skull of the tyre can un-installed!? Damn dangerous! This bus own by Konsortium Bas Express, now already 8pm, we wait almost 1 hour, no one backup bus to help at here. Every passengers waiting mid of the highway...this is deeply disappointed and bad experience we face in our life time.
I hope tgat konsortium bas express could give us a beautiful "answer" & explanation on this complaint. All the passenger is wasting all the golden time, in hungry for this terrible experience.

I recently had a really bad experience taking a Konsortium bus from Singapore to Penang. The seats were filthy, giving as well as 3 of my other friends an itch. As I have sensitive skin, my itch developed into rashes after the 10 hour bus ride. I will discourage anyone from taking their bus services, else be prepared for dirty buses.
I want make a complain .. Today 24/8/13 7pm .
I take a bus for Larkin to kl (pudu) .
But this bus go yong peng there say take rest 20min.and then
take more 3 customer and t break time till more than
40min . The bus actually will reach kl on 11pm, without traffic jam.
Now already 12 pm, still not yet reach kl toll( sungai besi)
Unsatisfactory services by Konsortium coach from KL to SIN
This is to bring to your attention a serious lapse in service by Konsortium coach
number JKQ 9522 and its driver when we travelled with our family from KL to
Singapore.
Our travel agent MakeMyTrip.com in India through their associate in KL,
BiGTree Travel & Tours Malaysia booked me and my
wife on their coach leaving KL at 11:00AM on 28th March to
Singapore to be dropped at Beach Road. The details are given below:

Seat No: 8 & 9
Date: 28/03/2013. 11AM
While everything was going well even though the driver stopped at two gas
stations for filling up gas on the way on our time, the major mishap
occurred when we reached Singapore Woodlands for our immigration & customs.
We were dropped off as usual with our heavy baggage and were told that we
will be picked up after we complete our immigration & customs formalities.
To our horror, we did not find our coach on our arrival after finishing the
formalities at the coach bay. We went around the coach bay from one end to
another many times in a panicky situation with our baggage. After spending
about 30 minutes waiting for the coach we called up our tour operator in
Singapore Luxury Tours & Travels Pte Ltd, who was waiting with their coach
to pick us up at your office on Beach Road. While they could not help but
they gave us the Konsortium phone number. I spent the next 20 minutes
talking to one of their executives who refused to see the reason and kept
arguing with us. They said the coach waited for us half an hour and left.
We were not at all informed by their coach driver that he will wait for us only for
" half an hour". How can leave us STRANDED and go away without any information to us? We were after all doing immigration formalities and not for any merry making! There were lines all over and there were few counters only.
My wife is a diabetic and we had terrible mental agony due to your leaving
us at Woodlands. Konsortium office did not even have basic courtesy to understand
a tourist's difficulty specially when we have big baggage a with us. They
did not offer us any solution except that they wasted precious mobile
minutes on my roaming cell phone for about 20 minutes.
With a lot of difficulty we carried our baggages to the taxi stand and spent
nearly SD 30 on a taxi to take us to our Hotel Holiday Inn Atrium. In
addition we had to waste the whole of the evening on 28th March on this
episode.
The above left a bad taste on our minds specially considering that Singapore
as a country is very tourist friendly. My wife suffered a lot of health
issues resulting out of this mental and physical agony and hence could not
enjoy our stay in Singapore for the next two days.
I want you take serious note of this lapse and compensate us for the same.
I have alreayd written to the Singapore Tourism Board
but will also alert all travellers through social media on untrustworthy
behaviour of Konsortium and urge all of them not use their coach services if
possible.
In addition to me and my wife, one more couple who were also with us in the
coach were also stranded along with us.

Poor service that bus driver of bus konsortium express. Before we alight at Singapore custom, we do check with the driver( plate no 8511) is it will send us to "Beach Road", he reply us, yes will drop us down there and wait us later. UNFORTUNATELY, the unresponsible driver trying to bluff us, we waited almost an hour, the bus still never appear until we check with other bus driver, they told us the bus already left long time ago!
I won't expected that such as over 20 years experience for bus industry, will provide this kind of BAD SERVICES!

We traveled from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore via Konsortium Bas Ekspres (coach plate: AHM8466) on March 7 2014 and was utterly disappointed. The driver was horribly rude literally swearing at us to get off the bus, giving those elderly attitudes for being too slow. This was still okay. What was most disappointing was the condition of the coach! Our seats were infused of cigarette smells, one of our seat cushion was damaged and the of wrapping of the coach were all peeling off - the whole journey was uncomfortable! For a coach company over 20 years of experience in this industry, I was expecting something better. Such a failed service. Try it at your own risk.
Payment/issuing of tickets
I booked a bus ticket with a local travel agents in Koh Tao to Singapore, and travelled with Konsortium on the final leg of my journey from the Hat Yai office to the Golden Mile Complex in S'pore. I was very impressed with the coach service and facilities. Though on my return, I had to book the reverse leg of the trip once I arrived in Hat Yai and used Konsortium as the booking agent because of my first impression. I paid 850 baht for a minibus to Surat Thani, then a night boat to Koh Tao. On my arrival in Surat Thani I was told the ticket was not valid for travel on that night's boat and that I would have to pay a further 550 baht to board the boat that evening. I had been travelling for 24 hours and was not intending to stay another 24 hours in Surat Thani. I specifically asked the travel agent to confirm the time & date of the ticket issued as I didn't want to spend very long in the town, I chose to spend the extra time in Hat Yai. I was very dissapointed in the service I recieved and will no longer be using Konsortium. I will also make a point of retaining names, telephone & ticket numbers whenever I travel in the future.

Bus Ticket
I bought a bus ticket for my son to travel from Penang to KL on 10/12/2009 at 4.30 pm. Three days before the travel date I went to the counter to change the ticket to 11/12/2009. My request was turned down and I had to buy a new ticket for him. The staff said he will try to sell the ticket for me. On 10/12/2009 my son went to the station to send his friends off at 4.30 pm and he saw the bus was full. Someone has bought the ticket and sat at his seat. When I wanted to claim my refund, I was turned down saying that the ticket was unsold.
I hope the authority will do something to curb this malpractice.I can furnish more detail .

this is the first time that i ever try in my life that the bus is super old and a lot of problem. i feel like i am riding a roller coaster rather than i bus. very shake and the seat keep on moving base on the movement of the bus. and there is smell of the brake pad when driver pressing the brake.
My friend and I are waiting which is just literally for an hour where there is no bus and people incharge in Kuantan Bus Terminal are also not responding responsible. Is our time that cheap? This would my last time taking this company bus. Irresponsible people. They dont even apologize for it. What time of people.

Bas rosak dan tunggu bas untuk ditukar ambil masa yang lama, lebih kurang 3 jam, bus yg datang adalah bus yg di tumpangkn bukan bus yg baru. I fell so disappointed. And the driver must check bus first before go the destination, punca kerosakan adalah kerana brek rosak that are nonsense we pay for safety too.
'Consortium Bus' driver no.JHR 1799 from Singapore should be reprimanded when physically handling a person by the neck with intensions to hit him. Incident happened 18/12/2010 near pulai Jaya at 10.30 am on the main road toll from 1st link Singapore/Malaysia route. Bus was travelling more than 130kph, overtook a the victim's car. Bus tyre hit something and swayed widely and wildly. Projectile from incidently hit wind screen and replaced the car registration plate.
'Claim insurance' was the normal answer from bus driver with even no apology. But with angry words and alot of xxx words from driver, one should take him off the road permanently.
His behaviour is very bad for either Singapore/Malaysia culture for kindness, politeness and etc.
