Reliable and Affordable Home Contractor: Heartwood Architectural Finishes - A Review
Hey guys! So, I just want to give y'all a heads up about my recent experience with finding a contractor on ksl.com. You know how hard it can be to find someone reliable and affordable to do work on your home, so when we moved to Heber Valley and needed some work done we weren't sure where to turn. Luckily, someone recommended Utah Home Builders to us, and they recommended Chris Lyman from Heartwood Architectural Finishes. Let me tell you, this guy is the real deal!
First of all, he's super trustworthy. I know sometimes it can feel like contractors just want to take advantage of you and get as much money out of you as possible, but with Chris we felt like we could really trust him to do what was best for our home. He's also really easy to work with - we felt like we could ask him any questions and he was patient with us the whole time as we figured out what we wanted.
But most importantly - he did great work! We needed repairs after the home inspection and he did everything from roof flashing to plumbing to electrical work (which always makes me nervous). He installed new double glass doors for us, did tons of drywall and painting, and even added a free standing bathtub to our master bath. He loves doing finish work, which we appreciated because it made everything look so polished and professional. And the best part? His prices were totally reasonable - we felt like we got a great deal for the amount of work he did.
Overall, I would 10/10 recommend Chris if you need work done on your home. He made everything easy and stress-free, and we're so happy with how everything turned out. I'll leave his number and email here, and by all means tell him I referred you!

KSL News: Disappointing Bias and Censorship of Audience Reviews
KSL is not what it used to be. This news station has gone down the hill. It's upsetting to see how our local news can be as bad as the other media out there. They censor and remove most of the comments, and it just seems like they let in enough opposing comments just to get people worked up. Additionally, their moderators are biased and favor more of one side than the others. You cannot expect to have a fair argument or debate when only one side of the comments is displayed. It's disappointing, especially when the news is supposed to be objective.
Their Facebook posts, on the other hand, are not moderated, and that's where you start to see the real picture. The majority of opinions differ from what they have to say. Not only are the comments heavily censored, but they have also become one-sided. As a result, they have lost their credibility and caused distrust among their audience. People are already calling out 'media' as the problem, and when you throw KSL onto the fire pit, it's no wonder why.
It's time to voice our opinions on the matter and look to inform ourselves elsewhere. KSL could avoid losing more viewers if they ditched the comments altogether and started respecting all opinions equally. It's a shame to say, but I'll be going somewhere else for my news from now on.
Warning: Stay Away from KSL.com for Advertising - Shady and Unreliable
I ain't gonna lie, KSL.com ain't no good when it comes to advertisin'. They some shady folks who take your money and don't give ya what you paid for. I run a small biz and forked out a hundred and eighty bucks for a whole month o' advertisin' on their website. Seems like a lot o' dough for a small business, huh? Well, that's 'cause it is. But guess what? I only got 20 days o' advertisin' before they took my ad down. Can ya believe that?
I called 'em up, fumin' mad, and they told me that they had some sorta issue with their system that messed up a lotta ads. So, ya know what they did? Absolutely nothin'. Ain't that a kicker? They didn't even put my ad back up for the rest o' the 10 days, let alone give me a refund for the ads that I didn't get. Their customer support team is a joke too. They didn't do diddly squat to help me out.
I suggest ya stay away from KSL.com if ya want to advertise your business. There are plenty of other options out there that are more reputable and won't rip ya off like these clowns. So, take my advice and steer clear of KSL.com. Ya don't need that kind of headache.
KSL Comment Section Censorship: A Trustworthy Forum or a Safe Space Echo Chamber?
Yo, I've been trying to drop some opinions on KSL's comment section, but it's like they're blocking me for no damn reason. And I know I ain't the only one. They ain't letting anyone with views that don't align with theirs speak their mind. It's legit ridiculous and ain't no one can trust that comment section now. And to top it off, they got some folks who can post more than once while I'm stuck here with a limit. Like who do they think they are, some kinda snowflakes who can't handle different opinions? Get real, KSL, let us speak our f'in minds!
The Censorship of Free Speech on KSL: A Local's Perspective on the Serious Issues Facing Our Community
Every single time I tried to post my thoughts on KSL about the problems in our community, it seemed like they never made it past the moderator. I mean, I ain't no expert or nothing, but I have some ideas that could actually help locals stay safe and informed. I want to share info about the kinds of people who are causing trouble in our neighborhoods, especially now that we're all going through a rough patch with the housing crisis and refugees pouring into Murray and Millcreek. But nope, anything I say that sounds even remotely like I'm worried about the safety of Utahns is a no-go.
It's like KSL is living in a freaking bubble or something! They don't seem to understand that our crime rating is way down in the toilet, with an F- grade to boot. The jail is so cramped that they're letting sexual offenders back out into the community in just a few days! How messed up is that?! And yet KSL doesn't want to hear jack diddly squat about it.
If you want to make a comment that actually gets approved, you gotta say something all sugary and sweet about how a story touched your heart or how you'll pray for someone. What happened to free speech? What happened to speaking your mind?
KSL, you need to get with the program and start paying attention to what's really going on in our backyard. Let us Utahns have a voice and stop trying to silence us.
Unfair Treatment and a Lifetime Block: My Experience with KSL Online Ads and Radio Ads
I been using KSL (ksl.com) for a good long while now. I likes their online ads and radio advertising they provide, so I always make sure to give them a good chunk of my money. That's why I was really upset when they banned my account for some silly reason. I was just trying to give away some free CDs in the classifieds section. I dunno why they care so much about that, I thought it was a cool gesture. But they shut me down real quick, not even a full day went by before I was blocked. They sent me one email telling me to stop, but I guess they didn't think I took it seriously or something.
So I tried emailing them back, trying to work things out, but they didn't seem interested in talking to me. I wasn't trying to do anything illegal or shady, I just wanted to give away some free stuff. Eventually, after a few years, they came back to me and asked if I wanted to advertise online again. I agreed, thinking that maybe they had changed their minds or something. But as soon as my campaign was over, they blocked me again! Can you believe that? It's like they're not even giving me a fair shot.
But you know what, I'm done with KSL. They reached out to me recently, offering me a deal on their radio ads. But I ain't interested, not after the way they treated me. I don't care if they're falling short on their quotas, they brought this on themselves. They've got a lifetime block from me now, and I'm taking my advertising dollars somewhere else. It's a shame, really, but that's how it goes sometimes.
KSL Review: Biased Liberal News Source Hides Political Leaning, Lacks Objectivity
KSL is a website that offers news on a variety of topics. The website is biased towards liberals, but it isn't evident as they try their best to hide it, which is not good for people who might believe whatever they read on there.
After using KSL for several years, here are a few observations that I have made:
1.) They never share articles from a conservative news source. They mainly share stories from CNN and AP, but they never share anything from Fox News.
2.) KSL loves to hop on any story that is against guns and place it at the very top of their page.
3.) If any reader comments have facts that do not favor the Democratic party or the left, there is a chance that their moderations will not approve it. You have to be extremely mindful of what you write to get your comments posted.
Overall, I believe that KSL is an extremely biased news source. Their stories, the way they present them, and the comments they allow all prove that they are not objective in their reporting.
KSL.com's Biased & Racist Reporting: A First-Hand Account from a Rally Attendee
I wanna share thiz thing bout KSL.com. I was at a rally and saw how they reported on it and lemme tell ya, it waz bad. Garna Mejia, the reporter, wuz actin like a total brat, showin her biases and bein racist. She lied all over the place, even on video! She made a big deal about a little scuffle between the two groups and exaggerated it to make it seem like it waz way worse than it actually waz. I mean come on, how can a real news agency like KSL employ someone who instigates and causes trouble? The Back the Blue group waz peaceful and diverse, with people from all kinds of backgrounds - Black, Latino, Pacific Islander, and White. They waz there to show support for the cops and what they do for our communities. But Garna and her liberal buddies don't wanna hear that, they just wanna push their Black Lives Matter agenda.
I'm not gonna let anyone say anything good about KSL's Garna Mejia in front of me without tellin em how she lied and spread hateful messages. KSL really needs to take a good look at who they're employin and make sure they're unbiased and tellin the truff. Peace out!
KSL Website Comment Ban: A Frustrating Dilemma without Explanation
KSL, or ksl.com, has been a website that I have been utilizing for quite some time in order to stay up to date with news, local events, and perhaps even do some online shopping. However, for the past approximately 45 days, I have been having some serious difficulties with this site that have stopped me in my tracks.
You see, every time I try to post a comment on the site, it has been getting rejected. I have tried to figure out what went wrong by going through KSL's terms of service, but I cannot find anything noteworthy that stands out as a potential culprit for my predicament. Despite this, it seems like some sort of ban on my comments has been instituted, preventing me from sharing my thoughts or opinions on various topics that I was so eager to express.
The main problem arising from my situation is that I am confused and frustrated. For what reason could I possibly be facing this sort of dilemma? As every one of my comments have gone rejected since May 8th, I have begun assuming that I have been temporarily banned from posting. This is concerning particularly since I have not been given any notification regarding my situation or have anybody to explain to me why this has happened.
I believe in fairness and equality, yet KSL hasn't always shone brightly in this matter. They have cancelled shows in the past, claiming them to be below their moral standards, such as Picket Fences and Saturday Night Live. However, with other options like KUTV being taken over by Sinclair, KTVX's dismal performance, and Fox's mediocre execution, KSL was the only option for obtaining weekly NBC shows. If KSL is serious about enforcing standards regarding comments, they should ensure that they are implemented uniformly. I have found other comments that haven't been taken down that were comparable to the contents of my posts, so I know that given KSL's terms of use and guidelines, I am not at fault.
It is truly a shame that there is nobody to contact for help in this matter. It seems like the only way that this situation could be resolved is if KSL opened up some customer service lines to provide assistance and guidance to those facing issues. Nevertheless, as things stand, I'm unable to determine the root of my problem and it simply remains an enigma.
Deceptive Practices, Unfair Rates, and Poor Service: My Disappointing Experience with KSL
I've been with KSL for the last four years and have paid over $400 a month. They've repeatedly told me that everyone pays the same rate, but they lied. I had a statewide campaign which they changed, but they didn't inform me or let on to the changes. This caused my business to drop by 75 percent, without even telling me why. They said I was month-to-month and could leave, but I'd been asking for a year why I wasn't getting calls. They changed the campaign, causing me to climb back up Google's search page, which took over a year. They lied again this year and charged me for the state wide campaigns, when they were giving out $60 ads. I found out that other businesses were paying a fraction and getting the same services, yet I was still being charged $400. When I got angry, they gave me a discount of $300 per month. They have even removed reviews from Google without notifying me.
After speaking with ten other business owners on KSL for the past three days, I found out that Mitch and Chad, the two in charge of the changes, said that everyone's rate card is the same and no one can get a better deal. However, they have secretly added in 30 to 40 new small businesses at $35 to $60, sitting side by side with companies that pay $400 or more for the top six slots. They re-arranged the templates so that the small companies can slot in, but I wasn't aware of this change.
Mitch said that I was losing revenue because of my logo, despite being the top company on the page. Today, they removed my business listing from KSL.com within 10 minutes because I questioned them and asked questions. I've been paying for their services for two full years, but all they've done is lie to me. Kaden, a new representative, compared KSL to Comcast, saying they raise the bill and that it's my responsibility to catch them and change it. The difference is that KSL is a business that should perform the services it's charging me for, which they haven't done for two full years.
There's a lot more to this story, but I'm tremendously disappointed with KSL. I paid a lot of money for their services, but it seems like they're more interested in newcomers and not their loyal customers. I'm still at a loss as to how they can remove my business listing over one phone call, without bothering to give me any notice or explanation. It's a shame how a good company can turn bad and mistreat their customers.

Closed caption on local news
Tonight on the 4:30 Sunday local news there is no closed caption. It is not the first time. It happens regularly. Lose of hearing is a disability and should be treated as such.
There is never closed caption on the news when reporters are ad libing. I know it can somehow be done because it is on network. The only alternative if there is no closed caption is to watch another channel
Can you please do something about this thank you
Desired outcome: Always have closed captioning. Please response. Thank you.
Difficulty Leaving Comments and Unchecked Fraud on KSL
Let me tell ya, I been trying to leave comments on KSL (ksl.com) for a while now and let me just say, it ain't easy. I don't use no bad language or nothin' like that, but seems like they are censorin' me all the time, especially if I go against their way of thinkin'. Ain't that just a shame?
I ain't no troublemaker, mind ya. I leave comments on other sites without provoking no rejection, but with KSL, it's a whole 'nother story. I reckon I got rejected like at least 100 times outta my 300 comments. What the heck, y'all?
But it's not just that! I also been seein' some dodgy posts up on their classifieds. Seems like KSL ain't checkin' enough to weed out them fraudsters who are trying to scam people. It's not right, I tell ya.
I even tried my best to comment politely on some of those articles they got up on their site, but it's seemin' like they just don't wanna hear no dissentin' opinions. It bums me out, to be honest.
I don't know what's goin' on with KSL's comment section and their classifieds, but I reckon they could doin' better. It's a real shame, too, 'cause I used to like goin' to their site for news and whatnot. But now, I dunno if I wanna keep tryin' to have my voice heard. It's gettin' tiresome.
Anyways, that's just my two cents.
Unfair Censorship: My Disappointing Experience with KSL
I been watching KSL for a good while now. They use to be pretty solid, but now, they don't seem to be fair. They don't let all the comments go through, only the ones they want to. I've been trying to post a lot on their website, but they keep deleting the good ones. I never say anything nasty or rude, and always try to be nice. The last time I tried to post something, I read over it like ten times before I put it up. There wasn't anything even remotely bad in there, but they still deleted it. It's really not right!
I used to have lots of respect for them, but not anymore! Why do they have to act this way? They should be a lot better than this! It's a real bummer to see them turn out like this!

KSL.com: From Conservative to Liberal News Outlet?
KSL.com in Salt Lake City, Utah is a news and social media outlet that is owned by the Mormons. Recently, it seems that the outlet has become totally liberal-based. They have posted an article today which states that 57% of polled Utahans do not want to see Trump serve a second term. Such news makes many Utahans unhappy - they wouldn't prefer a liberal democrat becoming the President in 2020. KSL.com often posts articles with a strong liberal leaning, and if someone wants to post a comment that contradicts or disagrees with the opinion of the article, they don't allow it on their comment section unless it’s in their favor! This has caused many viewers to consider dropping KSL.com.
KSL: A Site Full of Censorship, Leftist Propaganda, and Inaccurate Weather
I ain't gonna lie, KSL ain't getting no love from me. I mean, I would give them a negative rating if I could, but one is as low as it goes. This site is so full of censorship, you can't even express your conservative views on anything anymore. And it's gotten even worse since the new guy, 46 - but we can't even call him that on here or they'll block you completely! It's a shame, really.
And don't even get me started on the so-called "experts" who post on the site. They think they know everything, but they couldn't be more wrong. All they post is this hardcore, leftist propaganda. Makes me sick.
But you know what really grinds my gears? The weather. They can't even get that right, half the time! Like, c'mon - it's Utah, how hard could it be?
Listen, I could vent for hours about how much KSL sucks, but it's just not worth it anymore. I'm done with them.
Navigating Through KSL: A Review
I ain't lying when I say that KSL is kind of like a referee in a sports game. They decide what goes and what doesn't. I've tried to post some comments and sometimes they give me the ol' nope. But then I've seen others post the same thing and they get the green light. It's like they pick and choose who gets to speak their mind.
But, I gotta give credit where credit is due. Their site is like a powerhouse. It's so quick and easy to navigate through their news sections. They got it organized in a way that makes sense, which isn't always the case with other news sites.
But man, oh man, do they have some strong opinions. Some days, it feels like you can't even state a different view without being attacked. They're always pushing their left-leaning suits, too. I mean, c'mon, climate change and racism against white folks ain't the only topics out there. But I guess they must feel strongly about those issues.
Overall, KSL ain't too bad. They may have some issues with picking what comments get published and they may lean a certain way, but they do have one heck of a website.
Mixed Results with KSL Classified: Great for Buying but Beware of Scammers
I recently had an experience with KSL Classified that left me with mixed results. As an individual looking to sell an item, I turned to KSL as a means to post my advertisement. I included my email address and phone number so interested parties could get in touch with questions.
Following the posting, I received a text message inquiring if the item was still available. Responding affirmatively, I was besieged with a flurry of scam emails. These fake emails seem to never stop as they keep pouring in, with some days totaling over 50 such notes a day.
After a few weeks, the emails became so overwhelming that I decided to contact KSL Classified about the problem. They informed me that they were aware of the situation and are looking into possible solutions to mitigate the issue. Yet, the problem persists, and I decided to remove my personal ad from KSL Classified. At this point, I'm not sure if I'll ever list any item again for sale on this platform.
Despite the issue with scam emails, KSL Classified is an excellent place to browse local items for sale. Their website is easy to navigate, and I appreciate the diversity of listings they offer. I think KSL Classified could still be an excellent resource for users, but they need more robust measures to address the scam email epidemic to truly maximize value for all users.
KSL News Review: Biased Reporting and Fear-Mongering - Time to Switch to KUTV?
KSL, where do I even begin? This website is something else, I tell ya. Personally, I think Mike Lee has a good point - maybe it's time for the LDS church to sell it off because it's not doing them any favors. The first thing that sticks out to me is how biased their news reporting is. It's as left-leaning as it can get. They like to twist the facts to fit their own agenda. When you read something on KSL, you have to take it with a grain of salt because it's hardly recognizable as the truth. And don't even get me started on the fear-mongering they do. They try to scare people into thinking things that may not even be true.
Another thing I've noticed is how they don't let people post facts in the comments. It's like they want to control the narrative or something. Speaking of controlling things, have you tried using their classifieds section? It's a joke. They don't check for scams or anything. You could be buying a 20-year-old car with a broken motor for all you know. And the spam emails, oh man, they're a nightmare. They don't even protect your email from that kind of thing.
I recently started using KUTV's website for my local news, and honestly, it's night and day. They're a lot less biased and they actually report on things that people care about. So, if you're tired of KSL's shenanigans, I highly recommend giving KUTV a try.
KSL: A Biased News Source? A Review of Utah's Go-To Television Property
KSL, fan-favorite television property of Bonneville International, is a go-to source for many Utah locals. It's classified section is a great resource for free listings when you're trying to sell something. But, brother, let me tell you, their articles can be a bit one-sided and confusing.
Their comment moderators are something else. I mean, they're really strict and have a clear preference for the LDS church. Sometimes it feels like they're trying to stifle any opinions that aren't in line with their Pro-LDS and Pro-Conservative stance. It's gotten so bad that it's not even funny.
Honestly, it's hard to say if they can be trusted as a legitimate news source. They have lost a lot of credibility with all the bias they show. You just have to take every article with a grain of salt and form your own opinions.
KSL: Pushing an Agenda Instead of Objective Journalism
I gotta say, KSL ain't what it used to be. I've tried to voice my opinions on their site, but I keep getting the ol' heave ho. Apparently, if you don't toe the leftist line, they just censor you without so much as a "how do you do?" And don't even try to cite sources that go against their narrative - it's like pulling teeth to get those comments posted.
But that's not all. Oh no. Even if you do manage to get a comment up, all you get to do is give it a thumbs up or down. Where's the discussion? Where's the back and forth? It's like they just want to push their message without any pushback.
What really grinds my gears is that I'm not asking them to be right-wing or anything - just to be objective. Why can't they have two journalists, one from the left and one from the right, cover a story and ask questions? Maybe then we'd get some real truth instead of just one perspective.
Honestly, it just seems like KSL is another media outlet that's more concerned with pushing their agenda than with real journalism. And that's a real shame, because I remember when they used to be a lot better.
Review of KSL's Liberal Website Viewpoint: Questionable Bias and Limited Freedom of Expression
KSL is a website that seems to support a really liberal view of things, which is okay for some folks I guess. It's all about choice, right? But some of the stuff they promote is a bit much. They push abortion, even though that's a pretty controversial issue for a lot of people. They also want to question the 2nd amendment, which is like, come on guys, don't you understand that people need their guns to protect themselves? They're also really into climate change stuff, which is fine I guess, but they go a bit overboard with it.
KSL is really big on promoting vaccines, which again, some people are into, but others are skeptical. They also hate on Trump and the GOP, which is like, whatever, you do you KSL, but not everyone agrees with you. They're also really down on gun owners, which seems a bit unfair. Like, just because someone has a gun doesn't automatically make them a bad person, right?
They're all about lockdowns, even though a lot of people think they're not the best solution. And they really don't like alternative treatments for COVID, which is pretty close-minded if you ask me. Plus, they want us to get involved in Ukraine, which seems kind of random. And on top of all that, they think we should just legalize all drugs for funsies. Like, seriously?
The craziest thing is that they don't even let people voice opposing views in the comments! Like, come on guys, what happened to freedom of speech? I mean, I've tried to be polite and all, but my comments never make it through. It's almost like they only want to hear from people who already agree with them.
So yeah, KSL is okay for some folks, but they could be a bit more open-minded and inclusive of different viewpoints.
