Bullying and harassment in Meridian Idaho
I recently joined this app (Meridian Idaho) at the request of a neighbor, and noticed immediately that my account was being targeted specifically because I expressed conservative views with other conservative members who were also being targeted and in the three days that I had my account almost every comment or personal post that I had up was targeted by Next Door leads/volunteers in Meridian, Idaho I found out today that my account got suspended for no reason they say that they give you the right to appeal but when you click on the appeal button, it does not work is all about prejudice, opinions, and illegal bullying and censorship of conservative views.
Recommendation: Bullying and extreme censorship
Disappointing Experience with Nextdoor
After reading through numerous reviews and personal experiences, it's evident that Nextdoor has left many customers dissatisfied and frustrated. Issues ranging from arbitrary post removals to biased moderation have tarnished the platform's reputation. Users have expressed concerns about censorship, discrimination, and lack of support. It's disheartening to see a community platform fail to uphold transparency and fairness. Considering the overwhelming negative feedback, it's clear that Nextdoor has significant improvements to make in order to regain trust and credibility among its users.
Worst app ever
Nextdoor is poorly run untrustworthy.
We were victim of a crime. I posted to warn neighbors and see if anyone had info on the perpetrators. Next door removed the post. Punished me for all the incoming posts that agreed the perpetrators were trespassing. I received a lot of good suggestions before they shut my account down. And Nextdoor aloerf the perpetrators mothers to stalk and harass myself and neighbor. Why didn’t Nextdoor protect us.
They allowed them to bully us online.
Everyone should boycott Nextdoor app
Please boycott Nextdoor. They are uncaring to the public
Desired outcome: Apology
Recommendation: Don’t use this app

They were racist by saying I was discriminatory
I commented to this person who was basically robbed by distraction by three guys who had heavy accents in their English. I simply said this is what happen when you have open border. The ND first decided to remove my comment saying it was discriminatory and less than 6 hours later blocked me from commenting for a month for being discriminatory. With over two years of opened borders by this administration, with also numerous stories of many criminals caught were all new illegal aliens. But not particularly Spanish speakers, many were from other Africa and Asian Countries. So my comment was not directed at a particular race. But only illegal aliens. So the NextDoor were the one being discriminatory. They were the one being racist. Then of course they deny me to make an appeal by making the appeal button inoperable. They always have a habit of leaning in support of all type of criminals by using the term of discriminatory. However in turn they’re discriminatory to law abiding people that was just making a comment.
Not safe for Christians or Conservatives
They are blatantly biased in their removal of content and encourage one belief system to troll the other by deleting content from only one side, leads speaking on behalf of the troll. Eventually strangers (to me maybe friends of the activist and/or lead) joined the thread and started trolling as well. They tied a direct response to a post that was based on logic alone to my political beliefs and then extended it to my Christian beliefs. I have evidence of many very derogatory remarks attacking my religion (based on speculation or the fact that I wear a cross...broad stroke accusations that were wildly inaccurate about both my political beliefs and religious beliefs) comments that remained while reasonable rebuttals were removed. There were a lot of "you people" epithets etc. People started sending private messages that they shared the same experience. I started downloading the content of my interactions on nextdoor.com and got blocked.
Recommendation: Not safe for Christians or conservatives and the two will be conflated.
They did it to me also. Now I concerned for my safety because of a radical moderartor.

review of nextdoor moderation practice
Nextdoor, designed as a community platform for neighbors to connect, buy, and sell, has a significant flaw in its moderation system that leaves users vulnerable to arbitrary account deactivation. The app relies on volunteer moderators—fellow users—who have the power to shut down accounts without clear guidelines or consistent oversight. My experience with...

This person is stating that we are withholding employee tips, which is untrue. We only removed the tip line from our CC processing for our counter service customers. Any tips that are received through CC processing previously and in the future are 100 percent given to employees and they are allowed to accept cash tips. She also states in the comments the business is closing which is also untrue.

Nextdoor earns a trustworthiness rating of 91%
Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.
We found clear and detailed contact information for Nextdoor. The company provides a physical address, phone number, and 2 emails, as well as 5 social media accounts. This demonstrates a commitment to customer service and transparency, which is a positive sign for building trust with customers.

Nextdoor.com has been deemed safe to visit, as it is protected by a cloud-based cybersecurity solution that uses the Domain Name System (DNS) to help protect networks from online threats.
Nextdoor.com you are considering visiting, which is associated with Nextdoor, is very old. This could be an indication of a very positive reputation.
Nextdoor as a website that uses an external review system. While this can provide valuable feedback and insights, it's important to carefully evaluate the source of the reviews and take them with a grain of salt.
Nextdoor website is deemed to be popular and indicating that it receives a high volume of traffic. It is important to be cautious when using a highly trafficked website, as it may be a target for cybercriminals looking to exploit vulnerabilities or steal personal information.
However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- While Nextdoor has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 0% of 312 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
- Multiple low-rated websites are found on the same server. There could be such as technical issues or poor website optimization. To determine if the websites are part of a scam, it's important to review them and look for signs of fraudulent activity.

- We conducted a search on social media and found several negative reviews related to Nextdoor. These reviews may indicate issues with the company's products, services, or customer support. It is important to thoroughly research the company and its offerings before making any purchases to avoid any potential risks.

Nextdoor's support group accused my wife of "Discrimination" because she used the term "third world" in its original meaning of not part of the East or West. There is a new use of this term by young people that is considered to have negative implications for a country. This is clearly a case of agism because they feel that only the way young people use words is the only correct way that they can be used.
NextDoor owes her an apology for this.
Desired outcome: An apology for NextDoor.
Unfair business practices'
This site is left leaning, and you will get your account closed down without a good reason. Some speech police will decide if you broke their rules even if you did not. My post was taken down and I was called a racist only by stating a description of the guy I saw who committed a crime before me being of a darker skin! This site will suspend your account just for having a posing view or stating known FACTS on a subject but freely let someone on the left state unproven facts that fit their narrative. Trampling ALL OVER the first AMENDMENTS this is not only wrong its illegal, and discriminant's AGAINST the author who wrote it.
After being suspended for complaining anout a girl putting a picture of a dead run over CAT plus me calling out a millineal on a mean comment, this site puts me on suspicion saying I put the picture on the site. I filed the complaint about putting a picture of a dead animal on the site. Looking at all the complaints, before I delete the website, I may call my fantastic lawyer friend in California to look at my case as well as what has been happening to other Americans. All are my opinions!
100 percent true. This is the worst social media site hands down.
Temporary disabling of account
I'm not sure why my account was disabled. I tried to log in and couldn't. I subsequently got a pop-up that said the account was temporarily disabled due a violation. Of what? It is not specified. All I can think of is this: A new member posted she had purbred kittens for sale. She said adoption fee required. That contemplates breeding to me as the kittens are purebreed. So, I couldn't message her to tell her it's not allowed because the site stated 'member not in my neighborhood'. So I posted this "Breeders are not allowed on here." As far as I know, asking for fees for animals is not allowed. How do I get my account back. I also have a business listed with the same email address and can't access that either. Thanks for your help.
Desired outcome: I would like to have my account reinstated.
Discrimination
On Monday Oct 9,2023 I posted on Nextdoor. My Post said Prayers for Israel. On Tuesday Oct 10,2023 Nexdoor said "Your post was hidden". It was reported for breaking a community guideline. It was considered a non-local topic outside of a group. The public feed is reserved for your community to connect on local topics. Are you kidding me? I am a Jewish woma...

I helped to found Next Door DC and have served as a moderator for 16 years. I wrote an entry about the increase of crime and lawlessness in DC. Someone objected and my account was disabled for a month. There was no notification or due process including the right to defend. They state my entry violated their illusory guideline of "being nice to your neighbor." They refuse to state what word or phrase is objectionable so I can avoid using it in the future.

Nextdoor defamation
This website allowed a group of stalkers to publicly defame me when I was documenting my organized stalking case. I have to snap pictures of their illegal stalking behavior, but it allowed a stalker to complain about me doing this legal act. It allowed people her friends, who weren’t my neighbors to imply I was a criminal, mentally unstable, a thief, and that anyone who came across me should pack a gun and carry pepper spray merely because I took pictures. They tried to get to community to take pictures of me, post them, dox me, yell at me, and automatically assume I was a criminal simply because I am a victim of targeted harassment.
Desired outcome: Damages and/or take down this post and ban accounts
YOu sh ould sue them. I am sure this is happening because it happened to me and others. They need mental help not you.
Are you saying you are a targeted individual or gang stalking? I’m sorry, but you most likely need to stay off social media sites and seek mental health services asap. What you think is happening to you is not. Please seek help.
Nothing. I'm done with their chicanery and have no interest in what they have to say.
I've been a moderator on nextdoor.com for a number of years and am now going to delete my account. The reason being, they don't back up their mods nor do they pay attention to what's going on i.e. mods don't follow guidelines and rule on reported content from their own feelings/opinions. This is leading to censorship, bullying by mods themselves and one...

Complaint about Reviewer Serafim Reppas
Date: 8/24/2023
The liberal Reviewer Serafim is constantly harassing me and calling me derogatory names. It is downright abusive and it’s online stalking.
Many of posts and comments get censored without cause. Conservatives myself and others are constantly being targeted. Nextdoor is not a safe space for a woman.
Desired outcome: Cease the abuse and harassment.
I have repeatedly been a target by certain Users of Nextdoor, Leads and Reviewers. Most recently Michael Ryan posted this with my comment to Serafim to stop stalking and harassing me. I am falsely accused of having 2 accounts. The Blocking option doesn’t block the person.
Quick PSA everyone: if you have a problem with anything your "neighbors" are saying and the argument is becoming too much for you, you actually have options! You can choose to continue to partake in the conversation, you can mute them, or you can block them, so that way you will never interact with them on Nextdoor ever again. When they decide to create additional accounts and bypass restrictions you set, that is what harassment and stalking actually is. I think it would help a lot of people (including myself) if they just blocked people rather than engage and get to this level. Just my two cents!

NextDoor Cape May, NJ Toxic Forum
It was shocking to join the NextDoor Cape May, NJ online community and almost immediately feel bullied for offering a one-sentence support of a community official. It was the Review Team Lead that was dominating all discussion forums and arguing with those who had different opinions. I defended someone who was being targeted with verbal attacks and then I also became the victim of constant harassment, bullying, insults and ridicule. In addition to the Team Lead, there were at least three other Review Team members conducting the bullying (behaving like followers of the Team Lead) and most were seniors, retirees, old people in their 70's, which was shocking.
Some people complained about their neighbors, providing an exact location of the home, and then others stated that they were willing to go over there and harass that neighbor. The Lead and Review Team did not remove these posts or comments, although requests were made. A neighbor exposed violence occuring at a restaurant, and comments focused on attacking that whistleblower. Nothing was done to remove threatening comments.
It is a very toxic, hostile and dangerous site and either the Lead and Review Team needs to be replaced, or that discussion forum needs to be shut down.
Desired outcome: Replace Lead and Review Team of the Cape May NextDoor site.
My email to CEO Sarah Friar
Not surprisingly my ND account has been suspended. I was banned for one year for post politically on the main feed so I created a group for conservatives. There are 4 or 5 for liberals in my area. I was still kicked off for posting in a private group. I came back to ND and my posts were being deleted, nothing political, 1st 6 at once then one at a time after that. I was finally told by a member there was such a thing as over posting. It would have been so simple for the lead/review team in my area to reach out, but they must have long memories from years ago. I know one personally when I tried to adopt a dog from her.
I posted about Veterinarians that did home euthanasia for my dog. That one did not get taken down. Then I posted about a dog food recall from The Dog Food Advisor as information. It was taken down as spam.
My dogs were fine, now both are gravely ill with same symptoms. Vet is doing tox screen. I am not accusing anyone of anything but it’s odd with all the hate and vitriol directed my way. The police will be involved if tox screen comes back positive.
The attached post was on the main feed and not taken down. It is political against conservatives as well as false. Republicans believe in abortion when rape/incest/endangering mother’s lives and other things are involved. I attached an article outlining the guidelines and was berated.
Also my blue line flag was removed from my profile pic saying it was offensive. I have police officers in my family that I love and support. There are religious, political and other photos on peoples profile that seem to be just fine.
All this is blatant discrimination. I am smart enough to know I can’t fight you on this, but what I can do is send this to every conservative outlet I know of and ask for their help. I know someone at Turning Point that will help get the ball rolling. I am disgusted and angry beyond control. All involved knew about my dogs and that my two sisters died in March and April this year, yet the hate continues with the exception of a couple of friends I have not had contact with in a while as it’s been a busy and sad year so far.
My last post to ND is attached as well. A person sure can’t be faint of heart to be on your platform. I doubt you will even see this, but it felt good to write it and will feel even better to share it. This information will be shared with:
John Hope Bryant
Mary Meeker Bond
Jason Pressman
David Sze
Chris Varelas and
Nirav Tolia (I sincerely doubt anyone who leaves the scene of a hit and run thinking surely someone will report it will care at all).
Have a blessed day.
Suspension
I got suspended for four days ( supposed to be three? ) one of my comments removed was me repeating what someone else had posted to me, another was me asking someone who in answer to my question repeated her original post so I asked if she was a bot. I had flagged the same post (different versions) of a man selling puppies. He was allowed to repost at least 4 times with no issue. The final time I flagged it got notification that it wasn’t going to be removed so I appealed and it was quickly removed, one of the choices was why did I think it needed to be appealed I checked someone’s beliefs or opinions. As soon as that post was removed all the sudden I started getting comments hidden from posts days before. Think I made someone angry so they decided to have me suspended for bullying by bullying me. I realize politics is part of the reality here but this was clear retaliation. Not ok
Now suspended for 14 days, literally posted about an accident by my house so others would avoid area. And posted about a dog that was dumped in a campground asking pot donate to the shelter caring for the dog. Wow do as I say not as I do comes to mind, definitely targeted at this point, with no one monitoring the monitors its a problem..,
Account deactivated
Would like tech support from nextdoor to contact me as to why my personal account ( of 10 years) was deactivated but not my business page. Have tried setting up a new account it will not allow me to do so as it shows I already have an account , I have tried their online help site ( no one has responded) called and left a message at [protected] no return call or email. Horrible way to run a business
Desired outcome: Would like tech support to resolve this issue
Their biased way of enforcing their guidelines
I am filing a complaint because the people that act as the moderators and are on the review team for Nextdoor along with the people in their corportate office randomly apply the guidelines for their Community Standards depending on who it is but they do not hold Everyone to the same Community Standards. They also allow people to post information that is not true and is basically propaganda to promote certain political beliefs. They also allow people to cyber stalk people and allow people to report posts that are posted in political groups where they are supposed to be posted because the person reporting them does not agree with the point of view even though the person is not a member of the group and have allowed on person to cyberstalk and harass members of that political group since April. And have suspended people's accounts based on that person reporting the post even though it was posted in the group it belonged and nothing else was wrong with the post or comment. They allow this same person to post comments that are untrue and promote conspiracy theories. And other people post other things that are untrue as well. But they do all this selectively and Never are consistent by holding Everyone to following the same guidelines and Community Standards.
Desired outcome: Review EVERYONE's Comments on the Climate Change Post and Take the entire conversation into consideration including comments that were deleted and reinstate my account or suspend others who acted rude and threatening toward other people
Disrespect Discrimination and Censorship by Next Door Moderators
My account is now suspended once again for 30 days after just coming off of a 30 day suspension for posting the American Flag as my pride flag. They claim I'm being disrespecting. How is posting the American Flag being Disrespectful. They also claim that I'm discriminating. Sorry I'm the one that feels that I'm being discriminated for showing pride in Our Country. I had asked for a review as to why my post was taken down . Instead of a reply I'm suspended once again for 30 days. If you post anything that is considered against the moderators views which are not conservative then you are suspended.
Desired outcome: Written explanation as to why I'm being discriminated against for showing pride in our country and posting the American Flag
I am being suspended again for saying the economy has not been good these past 3 years! How do I sue this company for violating my rights to freedom of speech? In Next Door’s community guidelines it does not say anything about you can get kicked out if you give your opinion that the economy is not doing well for the hotels in my area.
