On September 7th at approximately 11:30 my daughter was seen by Anne, a technician is the Pompton Lakes NJ office. My daughter has legitimate needle phobia- and Anne was informed by my daughter and husband prior to blood draw. My daughter and husband reported that Anne was very stern and had no compassion whatsoever. Grabbed her arm and just stuck her. My daughter called me hysterically crying and said she had 2 panic attacks. Now, I understand needle phobic patients can be challenging, but my daughter became panicked and Anne should have stopped. I have worked in healthcare for 20 years. My daughter has gone for blood work in other settings and treated with genuine concern and empathy. This is her first time at Labcorp and we will never go back. In addition, I spoke with her supervisor who was extremely defensive and rude. It appears your employees would benefit from a customer service series of classes. I am outraged by all of this behavior. I myself went for lab work the week prior in Wayne and I need to say the staff was cold and unfriendly. Nobody introduced themselves. If this is a representation of your company it is very sad. I would never recommend Labcorp and plan to spread the word in Pompton Lakes where I have resided for the past 15 years.
Desired outcome: A call back to further discuss this. And I am not paying for this visit.
