I had the worst experience at the Durham office. I was in the worst pain that I have ever had. Saw the dentist. They took X-rays. Referred me to the endontist. Had to wait for an appointment. They never informed me that the endontist works at Lane. Prescribed antibiotics and steroids to take care of the pain. The endontist appointment was just for a consult because my insurance would need to be checked before a procedure could be done. The endontist is only there 3 days per week so more waiting. The pain was excruciating. Dentist asked “what are you looking for”? I don’t know? Do something? Asked her to remove the tooth. Response? The guy that does extractions isn’t here and we don’t know what tooth it is after 2 X-rays and an exam. Went home. Cried all night. Didn’t sleep. Called next day and they prescribed stronger antibiotic. Left message asking for pharmacy information. Left message 1 minute after they called and they never called it in and left for the weekend. My pharmacy information was on file. They were not interested or empathetic. Did not seem competent. Went over the weekend to a different office. Identified the tooth in 5 minutes that the first dentist could not find in 2 visits and pulled it. Don’t go there! Btw. Did X-rays both visits. Seems to like to bill insurance for no reason.
My husband got an email appointment verification for a cleaning for the same weekend. When he got there they were closed!
Update. Just received a text for a balance due going to collections and I never received a bill. Unbelievable!
