LegalZoom.com review: Legalzoom licensing: breach of contract & failure to deliver paid services

I purchased a license from your company with the intention of conducting business with the U.S. Government. However, I have encountered numerous issues that have not only hindered my business operations but have also resulted in significant monetary damage.

To provide some context, I purchased the aforementioned license from LegalZoom on 12-Aug-2023, with the understanding that it would enable me to legally continue business with the U.S. Government as a licensed entity. I made my intentions clear to a LegalZoom agent prior to the purchase and was assured that LegalZoom handles said business transactions and would be an acceptable solution. At the time of the purchase an address which, unbeknownst to me, was deemed invalid by the U.S. Government. Regrettably, I was never informed of this issue by your representative during the purchase process.

The problems began when I attempted to initiate business transactions with the U.S. Government using the license provided by LegalZoom. I encountered a series of voids, delays, and stops in my business operations due to the invalid address associated with the license. These issues resulted in significant monetary losses, which have been well-documented over the past three (3) months.

In my pursuit of a solution to this matter, I reached out to LegalZoom's customer support team repeatedly. However, I found the level of customer support to be inadequate and unhelpful. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issue, I received no substantial assistance or guidance from your representatives.

In a desperate attempt to rectify the situation, I decided to execute a change of address (amendment) to update the license information to a valid address, as required by the U.S. Government. To expedite this process and minimize further business disruptions, I paid the expedited fees for processing the amendment.

Regrettably, my amendment request has not been processed in a timely manner, and it has breached the terms of expedited services as promised by LegalZoom. I have also not received any form of resolution or reimbursement for the monetary losses incurred as a direct result of LegalZoom's failure to provide a valid license or process the necessary amendment promptly.

The voids, delays, and stops in my business operations have caused irreparable damage to my business, both financially and in terms of reputation. I hereby demand that LegalZoom takes immediate action to rectify this situation by processing my license amendment without any further delays or breaches of expedited services, and by providing full reimbursement for the fees paid. I expect a response to this complaint no later than today, 10-November-2023, to indicate your commitment to resolving this issue promptly. Monetary losses incurred as a direct result of this matter will be considered and I plan to contact the better business bureau (BBB) as well, especially after seeing multiple reviews online of similar situations and complaints.

Failure to address this complaint in a satisfactory manner will compel me to pursue legal action to protect my rights and interests. I trust that such action will not be necessary, and that LegalZoom will act responsibly and diligently to resolve this matter amicably.
