John Malinowski and I have been in touch for years where I as a dealer made a deal with them as they found a buyer for my Ramrod Taskmaster 1350 Diesel with tracks. The deal was they/their customer was to pay me $18500 for the machine and around $2000 as I shipped it to Provo Utah to meet them as they left the Las Vegas, NV mining convention to meet me with a check.
I showed up at the meeting place with the machine and there was no check to pay me. The two representatives told me they'd have me a check within 2 weeks. This was Sept. 26, 2016.
Two weeks passed with no check, I then started calling on a weekly basis. After 5 months, a check was sent in Canadian funds and my bank told me it would cost me $375 to deposit and would also take 7-9 weeks. I called John and he told me to tear the check in half and he'd send one next week in US funds.
You guessed it, I waited called 100's of times over a 7 year period and with a bit of discussion, I mentioned if your company is having money issues, please send me the exact model machine back. He agreed to send a new machine. To expedite this he told me the diesel motors were having issues on the Kubota end and wanted to offer me a gas motor with a $2000 check to make up for the difference. I agreed to this. After 100's of lies saying next week we'll ship it, they'll call me... this has to be the worst business dealing I've ever had with any business or individual. After 7 years and 3 weeks I receive a gas machine. No check was supplied for the $2000. Also for an apolagy to appease me in a couple months prior he offered me a free concrete mixing bowl attachment. That attachment never came either.
He also asked to buy a backhoe attachment for $6,750. I agreed to the price and he said he'd get a check and pick it up.
To this day Leon Mfg. Company owes me $2000, a concrete mixing bowl attachment, the light kit never came on my machine and he promised to ship it to me. He also said he'd throw in 2 sets of hydraulic adapters because his machines were not matching up to the attachments I'd purchased.
John is a shady liar that will never be trusted. I went through so many employees that would come and go. I hope I can get what is owed to me as I trusted his offers when given to me and accepted.
Recommendation: Don't buy from this company. Go buy a bobcat, vermeer, toro mini skidsteer as here you'll just get screwed over.
You've put up with more runaround than anyone should ever have to. Seven years and countless calls later, and they still owe you $2000, a light kit, a mixing bowl, and some hydraulic adapters — Leon Mfg. Company should consider changing their name to Leon Mfg. Company Scrtd. And how many more employees have to vanish before they make good on their promises? It's about time they stop playing hide and seek with your money and gear!
