This business is sketchy. Asking for my login info for my bank account. The only other time I was asked for that, I got scammed.

I got scam by *** loan office by LightStream and Account Manager *** Light Stream Loan Servicing EIN/TAX ID : ***. 368. ***. Telling me that they will give me money and I have to repay it back by MasterCard gift cards to improve my credit and Ill get the amount Im suppose to get for the loan. This company should be shutdown for good.

This company is no good I don't know why the government still let them still be in business bully s*** company scam my daughter was scam by them on 6/23/2022 one of the worker claim my daughter was approved for a loan they deposit money into a bank account my daughter didn't know what was going on until she told me she was scam out of $748 she was told to go and get two gift card broke it down the amount then the person call her back ask for the number on the gift card cause they know them gift card can"t be Track. after the fact that she was scam they got hold to her bank account don't use this company for no loan it is sad these people going around scamming people I wish my daughter would had told me before she got the gift card I would had told her it was a scam and the person try to threaten my daughter in a text flag this company

I should have taken heed to what the reviews where saying before I applied for a loan with this company. 691 credit score co applicant had a 741 credit score. Assets equalled close to 150k, no late payments EVER, combined salary before overtime/bonuses 200k and still denied. I truly feel we where racially profiled and denied the loan for that simple reason. Just like a few of the reviewers said in the previous complaints. This is awful and wouldnt recommend this company to no one!

Stay away. I have an over 800 credit score, less than 1% utilization on over 100k revolving limit, never missed a payment, income of $75000/year, 9 years of credit history (I'm 30). Was declined for *** loan for 60 months. No option to contact the company, and on their site you can only leave a review if they approve your application. They also offer no pre-approval process so everything is a hard pull. On their site they have reviews, but no way to leave one if you are declined (so they all appear good), Stay away from this scam company. I'll be filing a complaint with the *** regarding their practices.

Be aware. They use deceiving information about same day approval if you have good credit history. Didn't happen, I waited 3 days for my application for 20K loan to be denied with no valid reason knowing that my credit score is 800 and I have 70K annual salary. Although they have the right to deny any application, the fact that they use misleading information about the qualifications for the loan while not offering pre approval option left me with unnecessary hard inquiry on my account.

Applied for a small loan, 10K, was denied. Their denial letter was totally incorrect, stated that I had insufficient credit history (I have 20+years of excellent credit history) and also that I have too many accounts with balances ( again, not true, I have exactly one account with a balance, a car loan that is 3 months away from being paid in full). The denial letter stated my credit score at 838! So I have to ask, who would be their ideal customer? This business can not be legit AND there is no way to contact them except through email and while I did ask to be contacted, that of course has not happened. I would advise people to go elsewhere!

722 credit score, 200k year salary, very near zero debt. Denied any credit and the response that was given listed all of my credit scores in the 720+ with the denial reason being " one or more recent delinquencies" when I have zero.I reached out to them via phone and was on hold for 2+ hours with never getting to speak with anyone. I did reach out via email 2 times with no reply.

Basically the easiest loan , with the best rate , I have ever applied for . It took 23 hrs from online application to cash in my bank . Yes cash, I own the boat , I have the title , no down payment or *** pay, I asked for $25,000 loan , paid into my acunt , I shopped around till I found the boat I wanted . The rate was lower than my credit union. I read a few reviews some good , some not so good . It was the easiest loan Ive ever applied for , if you have a great credit sre , you are in luck . Totally use this mpany again .

Horrible customer service and I'm not even a customer. Also ask for my bank account. And got me to go purchase apple gift cards to validate my account. Got me to do 1 time and then said I needed to do it again didn't do it the 2nd time.

They call all the time and I asked to be taken off their call list and was told "all you people are the same, all you say is take my off your list, you're all the same." I should have taken heed to what the reviews where saying before I applied for a loan with this company. 691 credit score co applicant had a 741 credit score. LightStream Loan denial

I am three payments away from my original loan being paid off and I had some difficult circumstances come up and I was out of work for 5 months due to a knee injury. I finally ran out of emergency funds the first of February and was scheduled to start a new job 2/28. Since my husband died suddenly on 6/3/17 I have been able to modify my mortgage and never miss a payment and have excellent credit until this emergency. I feel the sudden denial of a new loan was based on numbers and not understanding my circumstances and looking at my past credit history. That is why I would like to talk to a real person about this issue and not try to communicate my needs electronically.

LightStream Being scammed

I applied for a personal loan threw what I thought was your bank a guy named jason hays so he said his name was his phone number is [protected]

Claimed to be my loan manger wanted all my personal info and already new my social security number told me I was approved for 5,000 wanted my bank info when I would not give him this he got upset and got real nasty then told me my loan now will be denied i'm not even sure of this man and I don't believe I was ever approved I have reported it to the bbb I want a legit person from your bank to call me asap [protected] immediately

LightStream I submitted an application for a loan which they "prequalified" me for when I provided all of my personal information

I submitted an application for a loan which they "prequalified" me for when I provided all of my personal information. They sent me an email to click a link to input my personal information a second time and to create an account with their site. I received a third email with a link where they asked yet again for my personal information and asked me to wait for an email to come with their decision. They are claiming I was declined based on my income, assets and credit history. Though these could be legitimate reasons for a different person, this is inaccurate pertaining to me. They told me they completed a hard inquiry through TransUnion, whom I also have an account with because I responsibly monitor my credit routinely and their claims were in fact false. I have phenomenal credit history and a beyond excellent credit score. My income exceeds any minimum requirement they may have for the amount of the loan I requested since I could technically pay off the loan I requested in HALF the time I applied for. They simply returned my email to tell me to file a dispute with TransUnion, but there's nothing wrong on TransUnion. Light Stream claims my credit history is too short when my credit history spans over 10 years. There is in fact their hard inquiry on the trans union site, but based on the facts, they have falsified my information to decide to decline a loan to me and I am beyond disgusted that they are messing with my financials this way.

2-9-2022 I called light stream because i was looking to refinance my car to bring my monthly payment down. I was also doing so because i am in the middle of buying a home and lowering my payment would help with debt to income ratio.Spoke on the phone with rep and stated my situation to make sure that the approval would go through smoothly. She confirmed and then i began to apply.Shortly thereafter i recieve an email stating my loan was denied. This is the second time i get denied by this company. 1st time excuse was that i had no loan history and revolving credit accounts were too new. i started to build my credit back in 9/1. 3 years later i get denied again for the same reasons. This time my 2 auto loans are too new. and credit card balances are too high 800 out of 5500 which i dont think is considered high utilization. Score is 752 and perfect payment history no deliquencies. They also stated i had too many hard inquiries when its been 7 inquiries since 2020 this was for a mortgage and shopping vehicles loans.I honestly feel like this company looks for any excuse to deny your application and had the agent told me this prior to applying and explaining my situation i would have not even bothered. i was well past the 6month time frame to refinance and have very good payment history and score. Now my score has dipped 6 points and there is another hard inquiry on my report. This company ***. The metrics used by their underwriting are not only unfair but do not justify their idea of risk. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! if your credit is 3 years old i have two auto loans and multiple pre-approvals for a mortgage no late payments ever, low utilization on my cards, and more than responsible/good credit etiquette i don't see why re-financing to a lower interest rate on an existing car under my circumstances would be a considered a risk to them. I want this inquiry removed from my credit & an honest fair evaluation of my application.
