My history with using line has been nothing short of wonderful. When in a pinch, you can withdraw from your line account and even have the chance to get the funds on a gift card. How convenient is that? I have to say though. The most important thing to myself in using the app was when I needed the extra funds for my family and I. My family had been through a difficult time this last month with the recent passing of my mom. My mom was my world and often she would like to go out for breakfast to her favorite diner. I did not have the heart to tell her that I did not get paid that week and could not come to take her out. So I looked up how to borrow money when in a pinch. Line does not conduct any major credit pulls and is great for borrowing responsibly. I would not take the time to write this review because I had a real rough time sharing my personal story. But I wanted to share my journey and let you all know how line can help you enjoy themost meaningful things in life! Don’t let payday or low funds stop you! Thanks Line for lending me a hand especially when my family and I needed it the most.

I’ve been using this app for a few months now.
Everything was great! Until yesterday. I was asked to verify my card AGAIN! As I was doing the app went in the Frits and kept kicking me out which resulted in and overcharge in fees. I reached out to Customer Service and I was told it was just a temporary hold and the funds would be refunded. So imagine my SURPRISE! When the funds were deducted from my account. Again! I reached out to Customer Service and spoke to a rep by the name of Sanaa. She was completely unhelpful! Kept asking me to Provide a debit card statement which we both know doesn’t exist. Because all money is deducted from your bank account funds. I provided her with my bank statement which you can see says Line.com. Sanaa then tells me she cannot use my bank statement that shows all the charges that says line.com and again ask me for a debit card statement. My least message was at 2pm at 8pm 8:30pm my messages were still unanswered which line says they typically answer in 2 minutes. At this point it’s been 7 hours now.
I am seriously considering not using this application anymore.
Scamming Me!
DO NOT trust this app. They have taken money from my bank account without permission and that was not owed. I had an account which I created using a previous company phone and email address. I stopped working with that employer and I lost access to both the email and phone number, therefore I could no longer access the account. It was not used for over 8 months and chat support WILL NOT manually delete the account and keep telling me I need to login to deactivate it and that is the only way. In the mean time they are using my bank information and taking money from my account in different increments. I have made 8 attempts over the past 3 months to request a deletion and have had no success. I requested a call and no one will call me. The past three days I have had a support chat running. Throughout this 3 days several different chat support members come in and out of the chat and as me over and over “what’s the problem.” It’s like starting over every time. I have bank records and notifications from the bank informing me the app keeps trying to process transactions from my account and my bank had to block them. This is fraudulent
This app is a SCAM
I have been trying to close my account since April 2022. When I signed up I only took $20 dollars. When it was time for a repayment I was charged twice that amount. I contacted line support via chat. I was advised the money would be back in my account within 24 hours. That never happened. So I wanted to close my account and was unable to. At the time and still now I had never signed up for an subscription. I was not able to delete my account so I contacted support again via chat.I was advised by 4 different rep on 4 different occasions my account would be deleted. I even received ticket numbers. Surprise I still have an account and I’m being charged a subscription fee now. I have locked my card and I refuse to pay for something I didn’t sign up for. They refuse to delete my account and give back the money they over took. Today I talked to Payal. And was given the ticket number 8108. Told I would get n update in the chat days later 2/14/2023. This is the same thing the other 4 reps did. We will see if anything comes of this time. As after 24 hours the chat closes out in its own and they know that. The reps always saying “ I will update on the same chat” I have screenshots. This is ridiculous.
Very glitchy and bad customer service
I got this app a couple of months ago and the first few days it was repeatedly crashing. I couldn’t even open the app from the Home Screen.
Eventually this was fixed and I was approved for only $30 with a steady weekly income.
They charge you a subscription and I was told this was $1.97, however when it was time to pay it, it was $4. No big deal, but it ran my card 3 times and only noted once on the account.
So the $1.97 subscription fee ended up costing me $12.00
When I reached out about it they said there was nothing they could do, as they didn’t see the charges on their end even though it had come out of my account and my bank confirmed it.
After paying back the $30 I borrowed early, I received two aggressive “collections” calls from the company. I stated on both calls that I had already paid and they simply said okay and hung up.
I don’t like the constant crashing , multiple false charges, and slow to post payments.I am currently trying to cancel the subscription but they said I can’t UNTIL I PAY FOR IT. So I had to pay an additional $1.97 even after being grossly overcharged, however after it came out of the account and I got a confirmation email stating they received it. I still couldn’t cancel because it’s stated it was waiting for payment to go through. It’s been 2 business days.
Was good then app updated and now terrible
I have been using LINE for the past few months..the extra $50 came in handy when I was in a pinch. The only issue I noticed is that they try to take the funds back AS SOON AS ANY DEPOSIT HITS YOUR ACCOUNT - not just for major direct deposits like payroll..it could be just another $25 advance and they start attempting to take the funds back. It didn’t bother me because you can immediately withdraw the funds again but for some reason this time, I cannot..and of course this happens when my rent is due and really needed to withdraw my LINE again. The update wouldn’t allow me to log back in so I deleted the app, downloaded again and tried to log in again that way but now when I put in my email and verification code they send, it says they can no longer support me and gives me the option to close my account now? What is going on. This is exactly why people don’t like paying these types of apps back and they block the charges from being withdrawn…because randomly you could all of a sudden not be qualified and be out the money you hoped to have for emergency after you did your part and paid it back. Nothing has changed with my finances and I have always paid LINE back, now this. Not sure if the update screwed this up for me but I’m extremely disappointed and would like to be contacted and have my account fixed.
Don’t believe the 5 Star Reviews
Let’s start out with the fact that you have to subscribe before you can request funds. IF you are approved they show you an amount that you “qualify” for which is usually about $100, however, there’s only about half of that “available” due to them needing to “verify” your debit card.They use a “verification” process that (makes you link your bank to the app pretty standard), is supposed to verify your debit card through the transaction record of your linked bank showing the subscription fee they charge you to apply. They tell you that this can take 5 mins to 7 days depending on YOUR BANK posting times. So, you’ve done that and wait for the transaction to show and it doesn’t they tell you check bank status on the website which does nothing but shows you a buffering icon EVERY SINGLE TIME. You now see that you qualify for $100 but only have $50 available which dwindles down to $25 until your debit card is verified. Ok. Take the 25$ thinking it won’t be long for the other half right? WRONG! The transactions are updated and low and behold all transactions are showing; your regular payments and even the $25 they gave you shows up. But wait… where’s the record for the subscription fee that is supposed to verify your debit card? Conveniently missing! Yep, not there. Doesn’t exist! WTW? Oh, did I mention the payback is in 4 days? How?
RUN AWAY, STEER CLEAR, WHACK COMPANY
Man when I tell y’all I never write reviews.. I never do. But I really just want to put it out there for people potentially looking to use the app, that these people don’t help, don’t care, on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS, SO MANY SCREENSHOTS LATER, this company has attempted to steal $48 from my account TOTAL, when I used a line of $20, the repayment is $24, and they claim to have not received the payment although my bank statements, receipts, etc show otherwise. If I could NEGATIVELY rate this company I WOULD! They don’t deserve a 1 star rating. Everytime I talked to support, the message thread would disappear, I’d have to start another one, and I reached out to all the support agents, every single one gave me a different answer. I was being told we don’t have the payment, to okay since you have receipts you’ll be refunded, back to “I told you we only got May 5th on record so you have to pay us again.” I have to dispute the charge and get it refunded through my bank. Countless times, countless days, countless messages. I tried communicating with this company for 5 days straight, they told me “oh just keep your account balance low enough and we won’t charge your card.” WELL GUESS WHAT.. THEY DID REGARDLESS. THAT WAS THEIR ONLY SUGGESTION INSTEAD OF HONORING MY ACTUAL BANK STATEMENTS. kept treating me like I was stupid. I have learned my lesson and will never in my life again use a dumb cash advance app. If I could post SCREENSHOTS of my experience with them I would too.
Sign Up for a waitlist number, with no end near
As someone who has tried and used cash advance services before, excited to try Line after reading great reviews from nearly every existing customer, which must be very few, considering the fact I signed up to give it a try back on October 20, 2022. Upon signup, I was put on a waitlist due to “new and improved” version of Line. I sit here today typing this on November 16,2022 and I continue to be on a waitlist for this new Line with improvements with not a single hint or estimate of when I will finally be able to use the App. Cash Advances are used for emergency situations when in a pickle, but if a person was looking for trying Line for an advance I suggest look elsewhere or you’ll stay right in that pickle. Maybe by October or November 2023 I will finally get to see what the hype I read is about. Starting to believe the reviews are from people behind the curtains of Line , as I’ve seen ppl on a waitlist even longer than I. An estimated date of when it will launch would satisfy many people as I feel like I’m speaking for thousands on the situation, how I see this advertised as a sponsored ad baffles me when it encourages people to sign up without informing those new customers once you sign up you’re on a waitlist with no timeframe just a number. So at this point, since I’m unable to actually get to try the app, I give it a 1 star review. It may be a 5 star app but seems myself and others may hit retirement before the upgrade is launched and I’m 30 years of age.
Unreliable & horrible customer service

I haven’t been using this app very long, and I’m having nothing but trouble with it.
It gives you a credit amount, but it won’t let you withdraw that amount, and sometimes it lets you withdraw very little. And the customer service people are useless. You have to figure it out on your own.
For example:
I have a limit of $150, and I spent some & paid it off along. I noticed the fee hadn’t been charged but figured they knew what they were doing. In theory I should be able to spend $150. That has NEVER been the case.
I used $60 to get a gift card, which is the fastest way to use it. Then it wouldn’t let me withdraw any more despite showing remaining credit available. I tried and tried but kept getting an error,
I tried contacting their customer service, but they would pop up & greet me but then go silent. I kept contacting them, but the same thing happened. One guy actually popped up & asked how I was doing like he were going to help me, but then he didn’t say anything else, I told them to stop asking how I’m doing & help me.
Then I noticed that the fee suddenly popped up, so I paid that, and it let me withdraw some more but didn’t need the rest of it at the time. When I did need more, I had the same issue. I’m so tired of this. It shows I have money available but won’t let me use it.
The same thing happened last month, and the customer service was useless then too. I had to keep trying until I figured it out. Idk what is wrong with the app and these people, but I’m tired of it.
DONT LET A 4.7 RATING FOOL YOU. ITS A SCAM
I'll start by explaining what Line claims to be. On the surface it looks legitimate, claiming to be a cash advance service that will loan you money if you need it before payday. If you look at the app in the appstore it has a 4.7-star rating making it seem trustworthy but if you start looking at all the 1-star reviews they all have the same issue that I did, I will explain some of the reviews so you can get an understanding of what this company is doing. Almost every review that isn't a bot or someone who gets paid to give 5-star reviews, says that they pay the 20 subscription fees, and attempt to connect their debit card, a process which line says takes up to a week to complete. So after you wait a week, you are notified that you card was not lined and you need to do it again. This cycle just repeats itself. I believe the site was designed this way so that whoever started this company/app can make an easy 20 dollars from everyone who tries to use their service, the whole time knowing that it is not really a service just a scam. You will see if you call their support number it's obviously a fake number that puts you into a pretend queue and eventually hangs up on you. Their chat reps don't help you and respond with generic bot-like phrases.
After numerous attempts to contact both their chat and phone support, I’ve given up. Their support number is essentially a fake bot that puts you on hold and hangs up after a few min. I’ve already filed complaints with FTC, state attorney general, and ComplaintsBoard.com. My next steps are talking to an attorney because this has happened to countless others. We may have a class action on our hands here.
Customer service was getting much better…
I’ve been using Line for about almost coming up on a year now and I’ve actually seen many improvements from the Support chat interface to consolidating actual things you’re able to use on just the dashboard alone. I had a recent issue with my account and for reasons they will not disclose, my account information somehow all of the sudden doesn’t match? Accounts were linked through plaid and you’re required to provide SSN to even open a credit line to begin with… The app is still super buggy and there’s a lot of the interface/dashboard that you will probably never even interact with after one exploration through it all. BUT they were indeed improving exponentially since I’ve joined back in January, and in the most important areas first - customer service! Though I was a pretty faithful and loyal member for these 3 or 4 quarters of the year, I can honestly say that it’s worth a shot if you’ll be approved… everyone I ever sent referrals too never could get an account, and also after being a member this long, not once was my line ever more than $20 - $1.97 monthly sub - and 3 withdrawals per week, spanning at least 24 hr cool down between withdrawals. Super disappointed about this app after coming this far. Mostly just bummed they refuse to even disclose anything at all, however the last rep I had the pleasure of chatting with was kind enough to say this app DOES NOT REPORT TO CREDIT BUREAUS - I could’ve swore this was not the case when I first signed up but now I’m glad they don’t, I have a pretty good inkling “Line” has their own scam going collecting fees, subscriptions, and probably takes a ton of insurance reimbursement through fraudulent transactions or something. But from what I was beginning to see, they did reinvest in themselves to refine their unique app

Beware SCAM
I deleted the contents of my original review and just want to state the following clearly. The card verification is falling because of LINE. There is not actually an issue with your card. Having to go through the steps to reconnect your bank and attempt to verify your card IN ORDER TO LOG IN AND HAVE ACCESS TO CANCELLING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION, that’s on the developer of the app, not an issue with your bank. The chat support does not support you and will not respond to your question. I do not know how to cancel my subscription because I do not have access to log into the app. I’ll be damned if they try to charge me another subscription fee when they are not allowing me access into the app. Also just a heads up, because your card does not verify, you will not have access to the other 20$ out of the 40$ offered. The first 20$ they give took 4 full days to land in my bank. The other 20$ was never an option because the app is faulty. Beware. This is a waste of time THE DEVELOPERS RESPONSE can be found under nearly, if not every, review. I found reviews in the ComplaintsBoard.com as well. The develop should spend more time working on customer service support rather than responding here in the App Store, where they are requesting that you email them with feedback. You won’t hear back or have your issue resolved. I already tried. I may just have to pay the bank fee to have them blocked from my bank because I can’t log in to cancel subscription and I can’t get ahold of their absent ‘support team’. After entering my information 3 more times I am finally able to cancel my subscription. I got charged .55 cents to verify my card, which I keep receiving numerous text saying your link, your not linked, your linked so who know how many charges will appear. I’m about to cancel. I have a feeling that there will be many hidden fees to do so. The process is an absolute headache. I paid the 20$ and it kicked me off the website and sent me back to the ‘verify your debit card’ page and again I don’t have access to the app. Finally was able to cancel subscription and it logged me out immediately afterwards so I have to log back in to deactivate. They’ve intentionally made this difficult. Finally deactivated Good riddance. Here’s your feedback, developers. I won’t be emailing your feedback email again. Useless.

A little misleading
So when I first started using this it was helpful, but now they pull money no matter the amount. Which leaves me in a terrible spot. You borrow $150 and they will pull whatever you have left after only a few days of borrowing in the first place! Example, I borrowed on Saturday, it’s Wednesday and they’ve pulled whatever was left in my account. And I have an auto payment that is supposed to come out. Which will now overdraw because it’s coming out after they pulled the remaining. Hence me pulling the amount on Saturday… and you cant borrow back what they have pulled until you pay the remaining of what you owe… so I’m not sure the point. Once this portion is paid back I don’t believe I’ll be using this again. I’d recommend if you’re using this to immediately pull it out as cash and only deposit something if you’re ready to have them take it.

Filed my taxes for free thinking it was a great idea to not spend money. Big mistake. Got emails saying my returns were accepted and everything was all set. Then I get call after call with voicemails from this company telling me to call them because something is wrong with my tax filing. So I go to chat support, no luck they don’t understand or answer your question, and then answer a call from them. They telling me “everything looks good blah blah blah nothings wrong with your tax filing just wait 21 days to receive a refund, I’ll stay on the line while you go on to the App Store and give me 5 stars.” Well they don’t deserve five stars because after they told me I was good, they’ve repeatedly called me and left voicemails saying something is wrong with my tax filing. Such a fn waste of my time and will be yours too so don’t bother with them.

Scam. No customer service
I added my banking information and the app told me that they couldn’t verify the income even though that’s where my salary is deposited. I tried to add the bank account again. Told me I couldn’t do that because it was already on my account. I tried to go back to the page to remove the banking information but the app literally won’t let me off the page asking for another bank account.
The most annoying part is that the number listed is unmanned. Then the customer support is clearly either not reading my messages or don’t know how to solve my problem. Now this weird app has my banking, ssn and other sensitive information and there’s nothing I can do about it.
I tried canceling the application and checked back 3 weeks later… all of my info is still there! DO NOT PUT YOUR INFORMATION IN THIS APP. ITS A SCAM. IM SURE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FAKE.

Extremely frustrating
I have had a problem where a payment I have submitted, have email confirmation from Line, bank statement, everything saying I have made this payment and yet Line still says I owe dues. Each time I go to ask customer service for help I am told every single time no matter what “wait 24 hours for payment to reflect” how much longer can I wait? How many times am I going to be told to wait 24 hours. My biggest concern is that I will be re charged after I have already paid my dues since nobody on their end can seem to confirm anything and just tell me to wait 24 hours as the solution to everything. So frustrating
Update: Line has in fact gone ahead and re charged my card just as I suspected. Now I have two $24 charges from line. Thankfully now that the payment has gone through on their end I was able to cancel my subscription, and finally be done with Line

Support is miserable
I don’t usually leave reviews and this isn’t so much a knock on the idea it’s a knock on whomever is in charge of customer service/experience . This will be your downfall if you don’t revamp how you address customer concerns. 4x I’ve notified that it says my account, bank account, is linked to another account when I try to sign up. I did acknowledge could be a duplicate account I made a long time ago. But phone # nor any email I have is a login. Plaid when I look does not have line as connected to my account. 4x I’ve been told they’d be in touch & 4x never a peep. 1.) could be fraud- prob isn’t but no sense of concern or urgency 2.) I’ve forgotten to call customers back before- but I then address it right away knowing I screwed up most do. No let me check this for . It’s been 2 months . Just irritating. Imagine if 5x more users were reaching out? Disappointing..

My experience is similar to others and I recommend users stay away until the developers finish debugging.
Connected my primary checking account (with a major national bank) & then received pop-ups to identify my bills & income. However, the categories for transactions were blank with with no options to select any transactions. Reached out to support & was advised that a ticket would be made.
Logged back in after a week+ & got a message saying “we are sorry we can’t support you”.
I did not receive any contact other than the support email on 8/14 stating they would be “raising a ticket”.
I’m frustrated after reading the positive reviews because I wasn’t given the opportunity to try the service.
I suspect that my salary being deposited weekly (instead of bi-weekly) was a challenge in their system. I wasn’t given the opportunity to bring that to their attention.

HORRIBLE! Would give ZERO stars if I could
I could barely even get through the sign up process! Kept trying to fill out my personal information but it kept saying something went wrong over and over again or would tell me to re login. Of course the one time it did work with no problems is when they accessed my bank account through plaid! Then after finally getting signed up, it just kept saying I wasn’t qualified, even though I make nearly 5000 a month. When they ask you to verify your expenses, they said I have a large amount of loans in my account, even though the things they added onto my “loans” were a 17 dollar subscription to Apple, netflix, and other small misc things. They also added a hotel stay from a trip I took, and other things like that to say I wasn’t qualified. So now they have all of my personal and banking information and it was a waste of my time to try to even get through their terrible app!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
First off line approved me for $30 transfer in which they would first say was successful and then later say failed due to my linked debit card not being verified. However the linked debit card would show widthdraw amounts from line but no transfers of funds. So my card was obviously verified but they weren’t depositing the funds. After speaking to 2 EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT agents by the name of Thasneem and Andrea. I got nowhere despite wasting over an hour on chat with both agents. They didn’t listen to anything I said asked for multiple screenshots just to still not understand nor fix the issue and the funds still not have been transferred nor deposited into my account. I will be disputing the charges with my bank and stopping my subscriptions with line! They are worthless and extremely incompetent. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY OR APP. YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Terrible App
I've been teying to use Line for a while but have one issue after another. For the longest apparently information I gave sent up red flags in the system. Not sure how since its my personal information. I've played email tag for god knows how long soeaking with 3-4 different reps. One rep tells me my account in their system can be deleted so I can start from scratch. Other reps tell me its not possible. Eventually I download the app again trying to login when a message populates to register. I'm thinking alright I can re-enter everything then I'll be good. WRONG! because out of no where the same measage comes up saying my information is incorrect/bad or whatever. Not only is their customer service terrible since no one seems to know anything, but the app is just as worse. Other appa like Moneylion, Dave and Earnin are much better plus their customer service is 1000x more helpful.

App doesn’t seem to work right, maybe it’s me…
I did not even get an opportunity to navigate the app as I was not qualified by the 3rd party system they use. It was explained to me the current system in place also does not allow for staff of the app to manually check and rectify any mistakes made during this process.
So I/not anyone else i suppose will never know why I was not qualified.
Aside from that, the app was quite buggy in my limited interaction with it. My guess is this is what led to my disqualification as I was asked to confirm information about my credit history that didn’t exist, (asked me to confirm a mortgage and student loans, which I don’t have either of for example) after saying as much, the app just processed forever.
So try if you want maybe you’ll get a better outcome, but it’s buggy and if that is the reason you aren’t able to proceed, the staff that works at Line won’t be able to do anything for you.

Don’t sign up with this platform
This service is very misleading, and if u ever sign up for a subscription, whether you have a loan or not, you will be charged a fee every month, and if u don’t pay it they will tack on a 5.00 late fee. I have tried to cancel my subscription and it never gets cancelled. They said to pay my fees and then I could cancel, but wouldn’t accept my credit card payment. Once you subscribe there is no getting out, it’s impossible. I am going to have to close my checking account to get out of this mess. It’s not worth the 20.00 they lend you, and will end up costing you way more than you borrowed and paid back! I owe these people nothing, yet they continue to charge me all of the outrageous fees and will not cancel my subscription because I will always “owe” them because they are continually charging me for services, although I have no loan! DONT DO IT! I wish someone had told me this before this nightmare happened!

Beware! Causes chaos in your bank account
I have been using Line for well over a year. My limit was $20 for the greater part of that year. As of recent, I’ve been bumped up to a $200 limit due to my good borrowing practices. This is where things got wonky! I requested my $200 Line and was funded right away. I needed the funds to cover fuel and groceries until my next payday which was a week later. 3 days after receiving the funds, Line withdrew $116 from my checking account leaving me with $0. Drained my account! When I checked the app it showed I had $100 available to withdraw, but when I attempted to access those funds I was denied because I owed pending dues, which is the remaining amount they did not collect of the $200. So basically, they lend you money, but will withdraw those funds from your account just days after having received the funds. This lame business practice defeats its own purpose. Will pay my remaining balance and move on to a better cash advance app.

Bad Customer Service, random account disconnection
I got a message saying my debit card was no longer valid (which is strange because it has worked the past few months since starting the app.) I contacted customer service, waited for a while to get a response - the first thing the rep did was make excuses saying she was the only one on service (there were 3 other reps listed.) The chat also closed suddenly and the rating (was your issue resolved?) pop up was in the chat, saying it was closed. I hit the middle (not bad not good) rating. The rep then returned to the chat saying the chat closed and I need to change her rating - she had still not done anything about my issue. She got my information (which I had already stated) then asked again for me to change her rating - I had not gotten an option to and my issue was not resolved. I closed the chat and she somehow reopened it saying I need to change her rating. Super uncomfortable.
Once my last line is repaid I will be closing my account.

They withdrew $20 for a loan i didn’t receive!
I’ve been trying to deactivate and cancel my subscription for what seems like forever! I received a $20 line, paid it back and i see that they charged my card another $20! I reached out through chat (seems that’s the only way to talk to someone) the chat would start and then no response! Tried to cancel my subscription but i had to pay the previous subscription to cancel. Not fair since they have $20 of mine that doesn’t belong to them. I was finally able to cancel by paying $5 in past subscription fees, but couldn’t deactivate for whatever reason. I no longer want these people to have my information. After cancelling, i received an email saying “would you like to receive a phone call to continue your application?” EXCUSE ME? I want to get away from you people. This is the worst loan app out. Terrible customer service and theft from your account. MoneyLion, Earnin, Vola, Brigit, Gerald, Dave, Chloe and Float me are wayyyy better! Steer clear of these people!

Worst advance app out there
I usually am not one to come on here to write a review since everyone knows that downloading a new app to your phone could be a hit or a miss. This app has missed repeatedly. The amount of time I had to wait just to be able to take out $50 is insane when ive used all the other cash advance apps without a problem. Now the real funny thing is this app only gives you 4 DAYS to pay back your advance or your late unlike the other apps that wait until you get paid which doesn’t make sense because if I needed money and didn’t get paid for awhile what would this app even help with? Getting deeper into a hole. Plus this app has the worst customer service and help team I’ve ever had in any app. They take 10 years just go reply and that’s an IF they even reply to you at all. All I can say is use this app to your discretion but just be warned that there are many other apps out there that will give you more and help more than this one Dave, Earnin, Empower, Brigit are all great apps that maybe this one should take some notes from

Pleasantly surprised
Edited review: At first I gave this app 4 stars because it worked for me just fine….until today(5/2/2023) I went to borrow money and a pop up was telling to update the app. I go to update the app but there’s no new update. I close out open the app again and the pop up is still there. I uninstalled the app log back in and it’s still there
I must admit I was a little skeptical about this app at first. I was pulled in with the offer of borrowing up to $1000 but after signing up I was only given $20. At first I wasn’t going to keep the app but that $20 came in handed one day and it’s been very useful from that day on. I’ve now been upgraded to borrowing a little more…still not the $1000 (lol) but it still helps out when needed. I would and have recommended this app. If you can’t afford to borrow $100’s of dollars and just need a few bucks for gas or lunch this is a great app to have. So if downloading the app just know that there is a monthly fee and the money you borrowed could be debited a few days after borrowing it. But I still like this app and it’s one of my top go to.

Awful support
To start I’ve never wrote a negative review ever. At first the app was finicky, it kept saying over and over again I needed to verify my debit card, to which I needed to wait for the app to verify it. Spoiler alert it never did. I tried over and over again contacting support but all I got was “hello! I’ll be assisting you etc.” to which that was the only thing said. The conversation would close not too long after. After deactivating the account and doing it all over again I finally got my debit card verified. Everything was smooth ish, advances were working. Until they didn’t. That’s when I tried contacting support again. I’ve contacted them 6 times. Got some jpeg of a white dude and a red shirt named John. It was the exact same support message except it said John instead of the other persons name. I will tell this to everyone THIS IS THE WORST MONEY LENDING APP, THERE ARE WAY BETTER APPS THAN THIS GARBAGE. PLUS THE SUBSCRIPTION IS AWFUL AS WELL AS THE UI. ATLEAST WITH OTHER LENDING APPS YOU HAVE A GOOD AMOUNT TO START AND BUILD BUT THIS APP IS HORRIBLE STAY FAR AWAY FROM IT.
