Fast, friendly, and within my budget
Fast, friendly, and within my budget. I'll call them again in five years when I need a door again. Thanks!
I have used this company for an additional operator and a spring replacement
I have used this company for an additional operator and a spring replacement. Both times were very prompt. No call backs and the pricing was very competitive.
I highly recommend Local Garage Door company!
I highly recommend Local Garage Door company! Super fast service and their employees are amazing. They were prompt, nice, and kept me updated throughout the fix. Keep up the great work!

I appreciated that they came out on short notice for an emergency spring change
I appreciated that they came out on short notice for an emergency spring change. The technician was informative & polite. He explained & showed me exactly what happened! He made several recommendations but didnt pressure me! I would highly recommend this company!
Don't use these people
Don't use these people. I paid a 50% deposit for doors that never showed up, I got months of excuses and a run around, and they refused to refund my deposit. READ the contract, they set is up so they never have to perform and still kepp your 50% deposit. I am a contractor and I absolutely will never use them agaain on a home.
We are very very happy with local garage doors
We are very very happy with local garage doors.. They did an incredible job on installing our garage door openers and new garages. Their pricing was very competitive but most importantly the quality of their work is what made me and my wife super happy.. I would highly recommend this company because local garage doors is the best company we've ever worked with by far
The technicians are aggressive in selling their products and doing repairs that are not required
The technicians are aggressive in selling their products and doing repairs that are not required. I had new springs, bolts, and garage door rollers replaced. After the work was completed, the garage door noise level is still loud. The invoice/receipt showed each product purchased, but there was no price to each product, just blank. I regret dealing with this company, and I would not recommend this company. G
I was very impressed with Local Garage Doors from start to finish
I was very impressed with Local Garage Doors from start to finish. I called to make an appointment and the lady that answered the phone sounded happy to hear from me. It was very refreshing. They had a technician come out within a few hours of my phone call. He arrived right on time and fixed my garage door quickly. I needed new cables and a new spring. I had done my research on pricing prior to the technicians arrival... they were very competitive with their pricing and even gave me a great discount! I could not have been happier with their service. Thank you Local Garage Doors!
Local Garage Doors customer service is abhorrent
Local Garage Doors customer service is abhorrent. I ordered a garage door on Oct 28, 2021 with installation within 4-6 weeks. It is now January 20, 2023 with no updates. I have to reach out with each date they provide and they have told me next week. On top of this the sales rep quoted me a price that I paid my half upfront and they increased the price for their mistake blaming me! They've never said sorry, apologized for delays, and never proactively updated me. This company is the worst company I've ever worked with. The bait and switched pricing, probably forgot to order the door, ordered when I followed up and continue to promise next week. It's been 14 weeks and counting. And I was a repeat customer!
You know how nerve-racking it can be for anyone who has found themselves with a garage door that is stuck halfway open
You know how nerve-racking it can be for anyone who has found themselves with a garage door that is stuck halfway open. I was in a hurry to leave and needed help, fast. Local Garage Doors arrived on time and communicated every step of the way. The technician LGD sent was knowledgeable, based on the terms and research I had just looked up on their website and had a great attitude, but most importantly, he was upfront and honest about my door. It turned out to be a faulty spring, which the tech changed out no problem and had me back in action. As a new homeowner, having something like a broken garage door scared the heck out of me. I had no idea how much it would be, how long it would take to fix, and being worried, I was hiring unscrupulous technicians that would take advantage of my lack of knowledge. I experienced non of those scary possibilities with Local Garage Door and would/have recommended them to anyone with garage door needs. Thank you, LGD!
Highly unethical business practices
Highly unethical business practices. Exorbitant prices that, in my opinion, are price gouging and illegal with the state of emergency currently declared in my area. Incompetent technician that crashed my garage door, kept offering me different prices and "deals" throughout, and ultimately left me feeling violated...like someone had robbed me.A minor repair was required on my garage door to maintain its functionality. The tech suggested new springs which made sense to me. Unfortunately, I trusted this firm was reputable (based on reviews, which turns out they offer $100 off for) and allowed him to start work. Ultimately, he crashed my garage door. He never advised me of any difficulty related to the door, which was the story I got when I came out to find the door crashed. At one point he said it was his fault and then the story changed. Told me I needed a new garage door, which I did not. I could go on, I was uncomfortable enough to get a second opinion before he was to arrive the next day to finish. The company I called for a second opinion conducted business with integrity and efficiency. I realized after interacting with the second business that I was about to be scammed by the first. The demeanor, prices, and skill were incomparable between the two. There was no way I was having Local Garage Doors back out to my home. I called Local Garage Doors and canceled my afternoon appointment. I initially thought I would pay for the parts and maybe labor, but after looking at the whole situation I am paying nothing. And now the company is threatening me with liens, court, etc...The labor rendered was inadequate and actually caused damage, therefore no job was finished, they actually created a new one. Nothing was improved. The parts they installed are worth a few hundred dollars at most per a quick online search and quotes from others. The prices they were quoting were $2,600 (with garage door opener) to $5,000 depending on whether I got a garage door or not, which again turns out I did not need, but they sure thought I should buy one. Now they're saying I should pay them $1,000 (down from $1,214.43) for those parts, inadequate labor, damage, and a truly horrible experience.I've included the letter I've written the company, which by the way seems to have a couple different names and addresses.Local Garage Doors is on Yelp, service map makes it look local to my area in ***, Local Garage Door Company, on return address label ***, Local Garage Door Company, on ComplaintsBoard.com site ***, -------------------------------------------------there were two photos included in letter that don't come through when I paste them here. While onsite your technician crashed my garage door. He was hired for a simple repair (one side of a hinge needed to be secured) and left me with something non-functional. He never alerted me to any issues while underway. I went outside to check on him to find my garage door crashed. He said it was his fault and he was trying to get me a new door through you. Then every time he opened his mouth the narrative changed. He told me he had called for help, none came. The stories he told are endless. This is what he left me with:This is one repair of his work: As he left, he told me there was a 50/50 chance the door would not open again if I put my car away. He was still talking about me needing a new garage door and the deal he would present the next day. I did not need a new garage door. The technician I hired to repair your work was amazed by the incompetence. That giant block of wood, seen in the picture on the left, left an impression. Fortunately, he was a professional and repaired your technicians work without incident at a fair price. In addition to his incompetence, your technician offered me $100 for a positive review and was constantly talking about a deal. It is now clear to me that your business practices are unethical. The price gouging is appalling and, in my opinion, illegal in our current state of emergency.Mr., I specifically told you that I did not want to be contacted by your technician again. He has contacted me anyway. I will not be paying you for a non-functional door and damage you perpetrated while trying to extract exorbitant amounts of money. Nothing on my property was improved by Local Garage Doors.

Garage door was installed with gaps on either side of the door when closed
Garage door was installed with gaps on either side of the door when closed. Claiming I owed them more money than stated on the contract which was signed by both parties and now refuse to correct the defective installation.
First transaction was a deposit for services on 10/10, second final payment of services on 10/12
First transaction was a deposit for services on 10/10, second final payment of services on 10/12. We called the company for our garage door to be fixed. The company failed to provide service as our door is still not working, had caused more damage and our door is now needing to be replaced due to the poorly performed work. We have tried to resolve the issue with them 3 times now and we are at the same point where they are telling us tough luck. The work that we paid for has failed and is costing us more money because of the failures. We want a refund and or for them to replace everything that has been damaged due to the incompetent work. We spoke to the employer and supervisor about the employee being high when he comes to our house. He told us it has been an issue in the past. Even with them acknowledging he was high and did not provide us with what we paid for, they aren't willing to make it right.
