BEWARE OF LOUCRI JEWELERS! In late December 2014, I purchased a pair of diamond stud earrings for my wife’s Christmas gift. I bought them from Louay Daoud at Loucri Jewelers in Greenvale, New York. Our transaction was done by phone and email. Mr. Daoud promised a certain color and clarity grade to the stones as well as a G.I.A. appraisal confirming same. At his request, I wired money to his bank account as payment . When the earrings came, there was no receipt, bill of sale, etc. only an obscure G.A.I. appraisal. I had an independent G.I.A. appraisal done which confirmed the stones to be significantly lesser quality in both color and clarity than the appraisal provided by Loucri Jewelers. I contacted them 4 times receiving only one response saying that they would not do anything to correct the matter. I have contacted the B.B.B., the Federal Trade Commission, and the Atty. General for the State of New York. I have ALL documentation in copies of emails and can prove all the statements I have made.
Richard M Tucker my email address is golfhunk@gmail.com I will be glad to walk anyone through the experience I had. It's fine to offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, but if you don't stand behind your words the offer is meaningless. Most people would not catch Mr. Loucri in his deception. We took Loucri stones to a GIA appraiser and she told us how we had been cheated. We were promised a GIA appraisal and got a bogus GAI...there is a lot of difference.
This website is absurd. It is just an opportunity for people to vent and complain about their situations, even if they are in the wrong. This is not a legitimate website and should be shut down. It is simply a compilation of negative attitude and opinions of the people for the people. That right there is simply wrong and people need to understand that comments such as the above ruin reputation of businesses such as the comment above. Word of advice to the above user, Mr. Richard M. Tucker. Loucri Jewelers seems to have excellent ratings via shopper opinions and have not been flagged for any misconduct. Your personal issue should not be posted all over the internet as you seem you have been doing, I did my research and it seems that you as a shopper just didn't get your way. So in this case you decided to go and copy and paste the same exact paraphrase as the above all over as I have seen. Obviously many merchants have a no return policy and I am sure you were told this before your purchase. You decided and at the end of the day you decided to purchase from this merchant. You simply made that decision and no one held a gun to your head. Move on.
It is clear that truth83 is on loucri's side. I have a feeling that truth83 is loucri yourself.
Please stop the non sense truth83 and tell your friend loucri not to cheat on its customers otherwise you will lose your business. You can save a little by doing that trick but sooner or later the truth will come out !
Loucri you should be ashamed...
Warning do not buy from this merchant! He ruined my Wife's Christmas last year when we found out the diamonds earrings we purchased two grades lower than he represented. He refused to give a refund after promising 100% satisfaction. When the chips are down he fails to uphold his commitment.
I was preparing to place an order for a Diamond Encrusted Cartier Santos 100XL. They currently market the watch with a bogus GIA certificate that DOES NOT CHECK OUT on the GIA website, (see attachment). When I inquired as to why the CT count seemed low (8CT) vs the other comps on the market (13CT), they told me that they had the wrong GIA certificate on the website and that they would send me the correct one. So... they photoshopped the other fraudulent certificate to now create an even MORE fraudulent certificate. When I caught their HORRIBLE, even comical attempt at Pre-K Photoshopping I notified GIA and the BBB. Please see the attached image for proof. Karma should clean this up, but I'd love to play my part as well... so I'm writing this comment here.
I bought my Rolex from Loucri Jewelers and was disappointed, because the owner shipped the watch, but the size of dial was wrong. I sent them back for replacement, but new watch showed wrong time. I asked the owner what to do and he again said to send them back and offered another watch. I don’t know what to do, because I had two problems with this watch and I don’t think that it will be a good idea to buy from this company again.
I have purchased from this merchant and have had nothing but a pleasant experience. I have a GAI appraisal, it is not a fake appraisal. My insurance accepted it and I have insurance coverage through Jewelers Mutual which is a reputable insurance company. I just think all these complaints are based on personal bad experiences. It doesn't make any sense because their feedback is pretty good. Hope it all works out for all.
Richard M Tucker & Reviewer29447 are the same people
I'm buying a watch from them this week and will give you an honest review of my experience and the quality of the watch as compared to their advertised description! I will say that advertised jewelry must be delivered to the client as advertised...it's the law PLAIN AND SIMPLE! There is no grey area!
I bought a Breitling Chronomat from Loucri a few months ago. Maybe not the best communicators but fair deal, fair watch, fast shipment and no hassle. I do not recognise any malicious behaviour. Make sure you have any arrangements on paper.
I have an extremely negative experience using this jewellers.
Reitling Chronomat Evolution for $3500 with a part of the bezel falling off, watch losing 4 minutes a day (so not serviced or checked) and a date function that did not work.
Sent the watch back for a refund but apparently it has 'gone missing' so no watch & no refund.
Not surprisingly, the communication dried up shortly after returning the faulty item.
Avoid at all cost!
