Never again....smells awful!
I purchased the unscented variety thinking that would be the safe thing to do since I have a very heightened sense of smell and I don't want to smell anything at all. So here I am in my thinking I am safe. I had just taken a bath and went to put the Lume on. I didn't smell it out of the stick, I just rubbed it on. About ten minutes later I went to turn and just out of curiosity I smelled my armpit. I almost threw up. I definitely gagged. I have no idea what ingredient smells so horrible, but it almost smells like sulphur. It smells worse than any body funk I have ever smelled. It is too bad because this was recommended to me to use for ongoing heat rash. Now, I am back to square one. My advice, do not purchase if you have any sense of smell at all.
Recommendation: Do not buy

Deodorant
I used this deodorant for about 2 weeks. First thing i noticed was my armpits smelling. It was cold out the last time i used it so i was no way sweating. Then i notice my right armpit started hurting and i looked in mirror and now i have a rash. First i started itching then my armpit started feeling like i had a pimple thats when i looked at my armpit. This is really uncomfortable itching then burning and very painful. Looked at my left armpit as well it starting there to. I discontinued it because of it not helping with odar and thats when itching started. This will not be recommended from me.

Lume
I purchased Lume deodorant because I am allergic to other deodorants. I wore it for 5 days on day 3 I started to itch, I did not apply product on day 4, I did use it on day 5. I developed an angry red rash with severe burning and itching. I showered to remove product but rash continued for 2 weeks. The rash cleared after 3 weeks but the burning and itching continued. After 2 1/2 months it was finally gone. I also noticed that all my clothes I wore those 5 days were stained and I have not been able to remove the stains.

Lume deodorant
Lume commercials are gross. The language borders on filth. Children
see the Lume commercials and start laughing...Mommy, Daddy its the Lume lady again talking about her butt crack. Yes its the Lume Lady again. She's talking about sticking her hand up her [censored] and spreading Lume around.
The comany uses filth and shock value to get their point across. It has no place on television. Their Lume product for men is no better..talking about man junk, foreskin odors and smelly pits
and a$$.The Lume lady herself
looks gross.Nothing a hot shower
wouldn't cure.

I hate the Lume commercials and the lady that does them. No reason to talk so graphically, loudly, and obnoxiously.
I would Never buy these products simply because of these commercials. The FCC should put a stop to it.
Even your slotted videos, as if from a cell phone camera, are amateurish, screaming POOR QUALITY! Also filmed too close up, gross, way too in your face. Majorly repugnant. I would never buy your product because of that.

acidified deodorant wipes
These wipes have got cheaper and cheaper made, it is so hard to really get them out of the package because you have them bunched up in the pack where you can't pull 1 or 2 out at a time, and the paper you use to create them is so cheap it tear trying to get them out and they crumble up quickly when you are wiping your private area they need to be made more sturdier maybe a little bigger and the scent and strength is not what it was when i first bought them they cost 14.99 in target stores and i have spent $500 dollars on these wipes since i first started buying these for about 9 months I thought they were expensive but I bought them anyway but now I feel I am wasting my money on these I still use the washes and deodorant stick I have the deodorant creams I don't think they work as well as the sticks also I wish you could make the wipes in other fragrances too. Please look in to this .
Lume
Yes, I'm tired of vomiting, while watching Designing Women or a wholesome, family show because some disgusting woman, an unethical doctor with malignant, narcissistic personality disorder, keeps interrupting the show with her vulgarity, both in talk and hand gestures, to advertise a product apparently she is the only woman who needs. I am very sorry she never learned how to bathe or comb her hair. However, I don't appreciate her making this lack of hygiene education most people receive in childhood my household's problem. Maybe some Cluster B counseling could help her improve her situation. She is NOT welcome in our living room and if we could file a TV restraining order, an order of protection from radio wave to screen harassment, we would.
Claimed loss: Loss of appetite and self-respect, every time I can't get to the channel changer, in time to not be abused by this gross and disgusting woman.
Desired outcome: I request compensation in the form of a minimum of 3 airsick bags per day for every day the vulgar, insulting, repulsive, and scammy commercials air during my television viewing, which is usually during family appropriate shows.
I agree. Is there any way to "ban" these insufferable commercials?
I totally agree with the complaint on vulgarity. I believe this company has made it difficult to find such info as the original Shark Tank pitch online, with seemingly bogus reviews to recommend this overpriced, unnecessary product. I make it a point, to keep my remote in clear and close proximity. And I think a drug-store chain may have safer alternatives to this Lume stuff. I also offer my condolences to anyone, who had adverse side effects, from using any Lume products.
3 solid sticks return
A while back, I placed an order for three deodorant, sticks unknowingly. They were solid sticks instead of the cream. I attempted to use the first one and I had an allergic reaction. and developed a really bad rash under my armpits. Contacted customer service, requesting to return them the initiated the return, and I sent them back. Unknowingly somehow when...

I have been using Lume body deodorant for about 1-2 months. On August 23 at night I started having urinary problems burning, excessive. urinating every hour becoming more uncomfortable each hour, sweats and chills. On August 24 I went to Urgent Care, where at first they could not decide whether it was a kidney stone or uti or vaginitis, so they treated me...

The adverts are offensive and make me uncomfortable.
If anything I associate the gross ad with never wanting to buy that product so I can’t understand why they think it’s a good idea. She is so in your face talking about her smelly under boob and butt crack. We don’t need a deodorant for these areas just to keep good personal hygiene. She just grosses me out
Desired outcome: Ad is removed
Not only do I agree with the disgusting nature of these commercials for an overpriced, unnecessary product, but I notice some serious detailed editing of true product reviews, seems to be done regarding Lume on Google, Bing, ect. Probably paid for. Even not being able to find the investor's Shark tank pitch. I feel sorry for all who have had bad side effects. And I feel that a drug-store chain may offer safer alternatives.
Yes, It's disgusting
and the another is also rude. She screams and is rude every time I see her adverts. I change the channel. It would be good if they removed it from the programming.
Underarm deodorant
Bought back in June, started using it in July. It did not last as long as described in the advertisement. I even had to resort to using other deodorant. I wanted to use it after paying my money for it but I had to stop. The wipes also made you feel as if your private area was burning. I stopped using them immediately. My daughter started using it under her breast because she sweats there a lot. The advertisement claims it helps keep you from sweating in those areas. Well, it made her break out terribly with a deep red rash under her breast. Her skin is broken and it itches. She as been to the doctor and had to get a steroid, cream and other medicines to try to make whatever this is go away. Well so far that has not worked. She has another appointment tomorrow with her primary physician. We will see what she has to say. I have taken pictures but because of the area, I do not want to include them on this site. Very disappointed in this product. It should be taken off of the market.
Desired outcome: What is desired at this time Lume cannot provide.
Disgusting and insufferable advertisements
Every advertisement I have seen for this company is ridiculously nasty. I am enraged every time I hear that filthy woman list the areas the product is used on. “Intimate area deodorant” would be far better vocabulary, while conveying the products use case. I’m in school for marketing but I’m not to the chapter of toilet humor winning over your target market :-| seriously lume, the word of mouth surrounding your product should be enough to bury you, WHY HASNT IT WORKED YET
Desired outcome: Removal of all tasteless advertisements, meaning all of them. The brand should close or issue an apology for being the most annoying—while seemingly operating within the confines of the law—brand known to man.
Ads
The online YouTube ads are absolutely disgusting, classless and trashy. So my videos are being interrupted by a women telling us that her vagina smells when she pulls down her pants due to semen mixing with her own body fluids as she trys to get pregnant. We don't need to hear this and apparently Lume is using this gross factor to get our attention. I will never buy it. Take the ads down.
Desired outcome: Remove the ads
Complaint
I would like to know how the woman in the commercial tested these products? It does look as though she is capable of smelling someone’s butt cracks. She is very offensive and her entire demeanor is vulgar and disgusting. I no longer will watch this channel. While watching this channel during a storm, she was on every few minutes. Continuous barrage of her nasty voice and ugly non stop talking made me wish for a power outage. This channel is desperate for advertisers and they refer to themselves as a family channel. Does everyone in their family stink and need to apply deodorant everywhere?
Lume disgusting commercials❗
Fact: Since 1st time Hallmark Started airing LUME commercial's & we've complained over & over... It hasn't taken them OFF the AIR.
Ya'all known what is Faithful viewer's are talking about.
So what do you do... Quickly force short versions.
STOP and CAN those offensive, sick commercial 's NOW!
Or else, Your Faithful Viewer's WILL STOP Watching HALLMARK CHANNEL'S period!
Desired outcome: REMOVE LUME Commercial's OFF THE AIR & CAN THEM FOREVER NEVER TO BE AIRED AGAIN.
I agree. I sent an email to the Hallmark channel them self. And told them because of the commercial it is no longer a family channel.
Lume peony rose deod
I tried using it several times as directed, and peony rose actually smells like urine. I thought it would lighten when applied, but no. It has a very strong odor. I hate it. It was certainly a waste of money. Its advertised effectiveness did not last long at all either. It just made me smell like pee. If your company has a 'nose' on staff that created and ok'd these scents, fire him/her. I am going back to using Native - it is much more effective, waaaay less expensive than Lume, and has lovely scents. And yes, I hate the commercials. They are in poor taste and not helping your sinking image. Laugh all the way to the bank while you can. Your product is sinking into oblivion.
Deodorant
On july 17th, I placed an order for your products; order number s10216637 and this is august 4th and I still haven't received this order? I am very upset with you people because I have order $ amounts with you in the past and never had this problem. I always order on online and have never had this problem before. Why haven't I got my order and why have I not been contacted?
Desired outcome: I WANT MY ORDER !!!!!!!!
Lume tv ads
Nasty, mocking, disgusting, too blatant, gross, in very poor taste, smirking woman showing just how far she can go to make tv even more disgusting & of course the networks let her do it.
There is so VERY MUCH to be said for decency, discretion and NOT just laying it all out there like a grimy slimy prostitute.
What is the proper process for removing ads we don't want our children thinking is a good example of the best way to sell a product?!
Desired outcome: Lume ads can be in print but not acted out on tv ads.
order [protected] - they've received the order, but i've heard nothing else since
My order number is [protected] 7/17/23. Starter pack with mystery item. $36.68. They accepted the payment but have yet to inform me when this product is going to ship. I can't seem to find a corporate phone number to complain. If this doesn't get resolved, I will be taking the necessary next step to get my order refunded. ASAP
With regards, Paula Boccia - [protected]@hotmail.com
Desired outcome: Refund or the actual product
Lume stick deodorant
I am very disappointed with this product. The first time I bought it was several years ago and I found good results the first stick I used. It did not last for the remaining 4 sticks I had to use up.
I tried it again a few months ago. However, once again I find the stick deodorant lasts no more than 8 hours. I am stinking by late afternoon and have to wash and deodorize under my arms before meeting friends for dinner and going to evening meetings. It certainly does not last 72 hrs. whether I am very active or sedative. I am sorry I tried this product again and have 1 1/2 bottles to use up. Never again.
Desired outcome: Please refund.
Commercials
Your commercials are disgusting, repulsive, gross. I have Grandchildren also so if your shameful commercials come on I race to the TV to turn it off..etc.
But I do that for myself Aldo. I have to pause...wait a few then fast forward or literally chang channel or turn off because they sicken me. They literally make my stomach hurt. Why would this gross human and now also another make these talking about body parts in such a way that's so sick?. How has these commercials hasn't been banned by the FCC? And why are ypu as people in society allowing this to be aired and you're ok with it? These are so repulsive and shame on all of you.
Please remove these creepy sick commercials with that I don't can even say is a human. Shame on her huge more then anyone...she has no morals, values or shame. She is so gross to do this!
Have a good life.
Desired outcome: Get these commercials off the air...PLEASE!!!
Ok ok take a shower use normal deodorant and if you go get hot sticky weather or work your going to have odor, take another shower later cheaper using water soap than this over priced gimmick of a product. Watchingvtv eating a snack who wants to listen to this ridiculous commercial made me sick turned it off get a job oh wait she’s a doctor $$$ can’t get enough $$$. I believe it’s over rated and the commercials are not very well done. If my comment sticks try lume or dual roll on
Ban all lume commercials.
This blonde woman on this commercial is a disgusting crusty pig. She's shoving this goo in her butt crack, vagina, arm pits, [censored], etc. She is sickening, ugly, unkept hair, greasy skin, etc. No wonder she's a gross slob who needs perfume to cover up her sickening smells. The commercials make me sick, I change channels when they come on the air.
i do not see those commercial that they put on, the one i see is ok. it does not show her butt crack or other personal parts. People is taking everything to the extreme. They are taking wokism way to far in my opinion. if you are so offending then don't watch pepso dent commercial. And the women who advertise, not bad looking, i rather have her than some high end model with her hair so so, dress so so.
Lmao I always change the channel when I see these disgusting commercials too. She has a disgusting ego too that goes along with her vagina stank creme. "I'mmmmm the founder so I can break the rules" while not even breaking any rules?
