I made a cash deposit in December 2020, to lyceum, and still my debit order continued. I phoned and emailed the finance department. I emailed all my documents to Bathande Nonkonyana in January 2021, she gave me feedback in March 2021, that my documents was forwarded to Lebohang Makoro. On 3 May 2021, I contacted Ms Makoro as i was still awaiting my refund. She replied that my documents have been submitted and that there will be a delay in payments as there is a backlog of refunds, due to Covid. Today is 2 September 2022, and I am still awaiting my refund. I included the finance department in my emails. I included customercare@uni4, in my emails. AND STILL NO REFUND.
Where to from here?

I registered with Uni4online this year May course foundation of teaching grade R,Jenevieve is the name of the lady who was assisting me after a month they told me about assignment I asked them about study material but they sad there is no study material I have to do research every time when I'm doing assisting. Because of that I decided to cancel the course Jenevieve promise to do that but I was surprised when they kept on taking money from my account. I'm so frustrated because Jenevieve is ignoring my emails even my calls are not going through lately.I want my money please
Truly speaking Lyceum is a nightmare I registered with them this year foundation of teaching grade R I find myself lost because they didn't provide with study material they kept on saying I have to do a research I lost interest and I canceled the course last month but they kept on taking money in my acc when I called their office there is no respond I'm so frustrated Jenevieve is ignoring my emails and my calls I'm so frustrated about what they doing my student number [protected]. Been waiting for a refund since October 2021. In January 2022 Lebo emailed me to lodge the refund. Its now June 2022. and im still waiting! Lebohang Maroko & Eunice Sabelo unfortunately are good for nothing! They dont respond to emails and you cannot get hold of them on the phones. if your call goes to voicemail, you cannot leave a message as the mailbox is full! Basically its my money and i want it back!

student portal access and exam timetable
I was unable to access my student portal for 3 weeks, within that 3 weeks I was able to access my student portal for a few minutes and tried downloading my exam time table but it logged out and I could never access the portal again. The past 2 weeks I have been calling Lyceum and transferred at least 4 times per call to an I.T. department but there never a technician who can assist me. It is the 3rd of May 2022 the start of exams and I still don't have a access to the portal and an exam time table.
The service is horrible, I would not wish such rubbish to my worst enemy.
AS I write this complaint I have been transferred and hung up on and on hold the past 4 hours

Why must my Daughter a student at Lyceum re-enroll on the above mentioned course (Fundamentals in Teaching and Learning) if it was paid for 2020 already and she have received all the Books for this course.

Submitting assignments on the portal
I could not access the portal so that I can upload my assignments on the 4th of March 2022 and upon failing I sent an email to [protected]@lyceum.co.za. When I failed to access the portal I then thought let me try the App maybe I will win. Which is on my phone and I have never used the APP for uploading because the last time I used an APP it didnt have provision for uploading I could only access my results because it was still new and they were still working on it to open other sites on it. So Upon opening the APP yes I came across the features that look like where you can upload your assignments but it was the 1st time I access that. and my assignments were on the laptop and I wouldn't be able to like use the phone because accessing the saved documents on the phone and accessing saved documents on the laptop is way different. My phone doesn't have the other features that are on the laptop and having to download the features at that moment would require that I should seek assistance elsewhere.
I rely on my laptop and it is convenient. I did not fail because of lack of wifi availability or loadshedding. I failed to access my portal because the portal refused to open and I clicked on request new password and no password was provided. I tried many times but to no availability. I contacted other students who also tried to help but they failed.
I have gone to the college to try and explain but the college doesnt eve want to come and listen to the problem. What they do is that they send some students to take the query and then they tell you to leave they will contact you and they never do contact you.
I am sitting here stressed because of the situation. I have worked so hard, having to do work and study part time and having to parent yet I do my school work. I know how to use the portal very well on a computer or laptop and I would not do anything to jeopardize my studies. My previous records do show what a dedicated person I am. I need help so that Lyceum college can consider marking my assignments. I do not have other chances to go to the college due to the workload. I am in need of help

Refund - 2021 fees refund
I am a student at lyceum college. Last year I paid my school fees in full cash for the year 2021toalt costs r 23223. I was then later offered a bursary and my fees where paid directly to the institution. I then applied for refund by submitting all the required documents and proof of payment on the 22 october 2021. I was told that refund will be done within 90days. This 90 days was due in january 2022. I have been calling and sending emails with no response. I need to pay up my loan that I took for this monthly with interest yet the college owes me the money and refuses to refund me. My student number is 162150 I have even sent emails to the head of finance ranjeen.

I have been a student with Lyceum College since 2019. My name is Adriaan Williams, student number 159159.I have never received good professional service. I work for the Western Cape Education Department. I have received bursaries for my 1st, 2nd and now 3rd year for WCED. My 1st and 2nd year, I lost my bursaries because Lyceum did not submit necessary documentation.
They never respond on emails, never answer phones! the receptionist (when she answers the phone) is so unprofessional and rude.
I have had more than a thousand(!) student advisors in one year! I never know who my student advisor is and when one contacts me, I must start the process again. Because according to my new inexperience student advisor, she must start afresh with me, I must submit all documentation again (basically register again!)
I received exemption for subjects last year (received approval letter) It was never captured and the student advisor (Yogesperie Govender) who left Lyceum never submitted it and did not register me for exams. up until now Lyceum keeps telling me that I am not finished with my 2nd year. I have submitted the exemption approval letter to Nafisa Saleh, Simphiwe Mbele, Bobby Senekal, Chanelle Vivian, Pearl Mashabane, Precious Chitombo. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE!
Now I am waiting again for Lyceum to send me my acceptance letter and invoice for my 3rd year because I must submit to WCED on Friday 11 February to secure my bursary. I cant get hold of anyone! My student advisor Precious Chitombo keeps telling me she is waiting for finance department. To do what?!

Poor to none student support
Good Afternoon.
This is the worst student support that I have ever seen.
They just do give a dam about their students as long as they pay.
They gave the wrong assignment to do with no instruction or assistance no this is setting the student back a year in their career.
It is unbelievable

Lyceum College and services need much higher to desired. The least I can say disappointing and unprofessional.
On record I called two months ago and staff members I spoke to Alette Riddles (Aletta.[protected]@lyceum.co.za - Tel [protected])and Emma Golele ( emma.[protected]@lyceum.co.za- Tel011 721 2000 ). The enquiry was " How to Get Certificate" Student : 144207 - Sindiswa Priscilla Tshazi : [protected]).
Forms as per their request are send to them for this student who is in Eastern Cape. Now as an adult have Tertiary education in University and Tertiary institution in 1980 have never experience such a bad service which compromise Ethics Code of Conduct of your Institution. I am Gauteng and as an Ault /Pension requested that I pick up the certificate for the student. To my very upsetting state they aren't responding to my email and they aren't answering the phones.
Let me put it this was your institution is more into marginalize community the least I can say. Your brand is compromise. I send someone to pick the certificate and the answer I got your operate in Heaven and Earth attitude.

I am complaining about my Life Skills 2 2427 mark that is not loaded.
My name is Christine Guerini student number 157183. I am in my last year of my NQF level 6 Grade R Diploma. Last year I wrote my Life Skills 2 2427 exam at Professional Childcare college. This year I saw that that mark was not loaded on my portal so I didn't get registered for Life Skills 3 3427. I went in to the offices and they refused to upload my mark. Dudu from professional childcare college sent through my marks. I received 100% for my assignment and 90% for my exam. I have the proof of marks and I want them loaded.

Missing Mark preventing me from graduating
I have contacted the institution on multiple occasions to find out whether I am graduating and after some time of me calling I was advised that I will not be graduating.
The first reason why because I submitted my paper work late. (I actually submitted my paper work in January 2021, followed up in May 2021 as I heard nothing back from the institution, called in June and resent my completed form, followed up in June, August, September and still no one informed me that I was not graduating)
When given proof that I've sent the form, the second reason was that a mark in my 3rd year was not captured for one of my modules and on the system, it indicated not complete. (In may I sent through all my results for year 3)
The third reason was that I failed a module in year 1 and that was preventing me from graduating. I then advised the exams department that I rewrote this module in May 2018. I was then advised that this particular mark was never captured on the system. I was then asked do I proof that I rewrote the module and sent in a copy of my proof of payment for the rewrite as well as the timetable I have received.
I was then told I need to pay in another R750 as my course has expired and I will have to rewrite May 2022.
This is going into week 3 with regards to no feedback to my query and I have been following up via call, email and still this query is not resolved.

I passed my Higher Certificate in 2020 and to date don't have my Certificate. I immigrated in 2020 and finished my exams overseas. I am unable to access my student portal, my password won't reset and my endless calls to Lyceum gets me no where. I need my certificate for employment and I can't even access my student portal to get a statement of my results.

Serious lack of communication
Good day
I have been trying to confirm my exam registration for October 2021 since 17 August with absolutely NO response from anyone. Hannelie Oosthuizen does not read nor respond to emails, and when I call I am kept on hold for over 15 minutes or the line drops.
I am also trying to get someone to help me with my log in details to the student portal, but no response on that neither.
If I am not registered and do not get to write my final exams in October, then Lyceum will be responsible for paying my exams so that I can rewrite them when ever they deem it necessary to respond to their students.
How is a college able to ignore their students that pay thousands of rands each year, but as soon as the student is outstanding with R1.00 they will hound you like a dog on heat.
I would really appreciate to have this issue resolved within this week.

On the verge losing an employment opportunity due to lyceum not being able to supply the requested letter
I was offered an internship and in order to secure the internship I required a letter that stated what I qualified for (BA in Disaster and Safety Management), as well as details as to when my graduation would be and when I will receive my certificate. If the details are not known yet, then Lyceum should state the reasons.
I have been trying to obtain this letter since Sept. 3rd. I am either told that they do not supply such letters or had my email redirected to someone else and not heard back from them.
This kind of service is inexcusable. Students full request should be met, especially when fees are paid up and the qualification is complete. Students should not lose out on employment opportunities due to Lyceums inability to provide good service. Bare in mind I have previously lost out on an employment opportunity due to negligence on Lyceums behalf.
