I took my car to this place in August to get it fixed after a crash. I told them I was paying cash and not my insurance. They said they'd give me an estimate in a few days. They said it might take until mid-September to finish the job, which seemed fair. A few days later, they called with the estimate, but I needed a few days to get the money. Even though they knew I was paying cash, they kept calling me every day for weeks, asking if I had the money. They even threatened to charge me storage fees and give my car to the lien holders if I didn't pay right away. So I talked to my dad, and we came up with the whole $14,130. I paid it in the first week of September, but I haven't heard from them since. I've had to call them several times to get updates, but they never call me back. They always say they have to check with someone else and then never call me back. They said they were waiting for a part for over a month, but when I asked why they were only looking in the local area, the part suddenly became available. Now they say the only thing left is to put in the airbag, but they say the body shop workers have COVID. It's always a different excuse.
