I hired Mance Outdoor Solutions to fix my backyard drainage, pour a new concrete patio, and do some landscaping. I gave him a check for $2000.00 on October 12, which was more than half of the total job price. I told him I needed it done by June 2022. I contacted him on March 2, but he didn't show up. I contacted him again at the end of the month, but he still didn't show up. I didn't contact him in April because of the rain, but I contacted him weekly from the end of May until the end of June. All I got was a load of dirt dumped in front of my house, which now has weeds growing in it, and excuse after excuse. On June 20th, I told him I didn't want him to do the work and wanted my money back. He made more excuses about getting my money. The check was in his office, and one of his guys would bring it, but that never happened. My family finally intervened, and one of his guys met my family member and delivered the money. It was a frustrating experience for me. I wish I had seen the prior complaints on the ComplaintsBoard.com site before I hired him.

18, 2022 was the last time we heard from him. We do not recommend Mance Outdoor Solutions.

I paid Mance Outdoor Solutions $2,500.00 to replace two gates and an over-the-water deck. They said they needed the money for materials, but only the gates have been installed, and one is in the wrong place. The old deck has been removed, and supports have been put in place, but no other work has been done. I've been asking when the work will be done since December, but they keep giving me excuses and ignoring my questions. They won't speak to me on the phone and only communicate through text messages. I saw the owner operating construction equipment in Granite City, Illinois, but he said it was his brother. They asked for another chance and promised to reduce the contract by $800.00 and complete the work the next week, but nothing has been done. I asked for a refund in January, but they asked for another chance. I told them in March that I would pursue legal action, but they asked for another chance and promised to reduce the contract cost again and complete the work immediately. The last time they said they would work on it was April 2.
