Dear Sir, My Request reference 661-6588-Z2J7R9 I am Mashreq customer for almost 26 year out of my 27 years in Dubai. Due to high education expenses of my two daughters I run out of cash and in trouble to renew my tenancy contact. My last date for Tenancy renewal 13-Jul-2017 on which availability of fund is essential. For this reason I requested for possibility of top up personal loans which Customer Service Officers advised unable to obtain approval due to my age factor. My DOB 21-Jan-1960. I was able find ADCB bank who offered me the loan. The offer letter submitted to Quasis Branch on 01-Jul-2017 anticipating to receive liability letter in 2- 3 days. Despite sending request twice daily via email as unable to contact phone # [protected] by assigned CSR I visited Mirdif city centre brace on 02-Jul-2017 followed by third visit to Quasis Branch on 08-Jul-2017 not received any feedback. I request your help and assistance to consider my case as top urgent and resolve at the earliest.

atm malfunctioned in the middle of my cash payment
Dear Team,
I was paying the minimum due of 340aed against Card# [protected] at around 18:00h of June 9, 2017 in Emirates General HeadQuarters ATM (the one with a small Mashreq office behind) and reached to the point that i have placed the money in the cash slot, pressed "confirm", but the machine malfunctioned from there. It had me waiting for about two minutes and suddenly the screen showed a message saying something like "unable to process cash transactions" and did not return my money. Then the cash slot light turned into red as shown in the attached photo. I then called your hotline to advise of the incident and seek help and was given a complaint number 6549611. I returned to the ATM ten minutes later on hopes of recovering my money but it was still blinking red light on the cash slot. I have been told that it would take 24 to 48 hours and i will be contacted.
I am concerned that I might be fined a late payment fee since my due date is on June 11, which i did pay on time. I have no more means to pay extra as my salary is budgeted monthly and the next one will be towards the end of the month.
You may check on the ATM's CCTV between 17:55 and 18:15 that i did count the money and placed them in the slot, waited, tried to recover, and returned ten minutes after but was unsuccessful. The denomination is as follows:
1 x 200 = 200
1 x 100 = 100
4 x 10 = 40
I would like to seek your assistance please as soon as possible as i cannot afford to be charged a large fine again which i had in the last month due to miscommunication. I hope this would letter would merit your kind attention and resolve the issue at the soonest possible time. I never got my money back and did not recieve a receipt from the machine nor a confirmation SMS.

To whom it may concerned,
Almost every month I encountered a problem of receiving my salary transfer through Arab bank. Every month I have to visit Masreq bank to show that copy of the money transferred details to customer service for them to check where the money goes. All my office mates receives their salary transferred in 2 days while mine alone take 3 weeks or a month and no one in customer service willing to guide or help to locate the roots of the problem while Arab bank has informed our office that the copy transferred money is sufficient enough to probe that money already in their hand.
Please see attached copy of transferred amount that until now I haven't received and no one in customer service tried to help. I've been visiting them 10 times already.

we proceed 2 LCs through Meshreq Bank . both are received by mashreq bank, one is issued from Japan, and one is issued from Ethopia . Under these two LCs we performed well . The only issue is Mashreq bank proceeds very slow .longer time then its regulations .

e-account still not activated, cannot withdraw funds in any way
On the 8th of April I opened an e-account with Mashreq bank for salary transfer and uploaded all the documents required.
After 4 working days a sales person from the bank came to my office to take only the signature required for the application, and informed me that I would be receiving the debit card and cheque book after 5 working days.
Today is 4th of May, funds have been transferred and still no sign from the debit card.
After calling the call center for 4 consecutive days and made 12 calls, visits to bank branches I was finally told that my account hasn't even been activated!
For 3 weeks no one even bothered to call and inform what is the issue, until I visited the main branch in Dubai Mall.
I explained to the sales person that even I have raised complaints and called 12 times, every time I would get the same answer that someone will call me back, which till date didn't happen.
He was very helpful because only after couple of calls he established what was the problem, which in this case was a mismatch of the company name on the visa and on the registration form, so all they had to do is just take one more signature from me!
The sales person Mr. Mohammad was very kind to initiate the process at the same day but still the account hasn't been activated nor debit card received and there's no option how I can complete a withdraw.
Overall, my worst banking experience ever!

I held an account (Gold/Premier customer) with Mashreq bank for 7years, as I had more than AED 1 Million in investment with them they provided me with free premier account. As I did not have Aussie bank account yet, before moving to Australia I inquired with my Mashreq personal relationship manager that what happens if I leave country permanently. And the response was you can keep the account and operate it online to transfer your money whenever you like - it's your money. Later when I needed to withdraw my funds from Australia (basically, withdraw all and close account) I could login into my internet account but was not allowed to withdraw/ transfer any funds to my Australia ANZ account.
On many calls the reason I was given was because account was dormant for months they have disabled any transfer out. The solution to the issue I was suggested is I have to visit a bank branch with my ID to activate it again. They don't have any branches anywhere near Australia so that means I have to travel to Middle-east. It took me more than a year to get back my money (sitting and not earning much interest with Mashreq).
I am now back in UAE (after 8years) and like to have feedback on banks - which bank is good for opening account. Barring Mashreq as I will never do business with them again.

This is regarding a recent transaction on my credit card which i wanted to convert to EPP. I called up Msq bank twice on 29th April, once i was told the person responsible had stepped out for lunch and will return my call and the next time i was told the person had left and will definitely return my call next day. The call was not returned. I called up [protected] on 30th April and was treated very rudely by the CC lady (Naazish). She did not even understand my request. After getting irritated and cutting the line she called me again on my landline to lecture me about how i should conduct myself on the call...OMG... My problem was solved cause i guess Ms Naazish knew i would complain. It is imperative that a bank like Mashreq invests more in employees who understand customers rather then be rude to them cause maybe English is not their primary language. I am very hurt with this behaviour and will recommend to all my friends and relatives that they dont bank with Mashreq. I am having second thoughts myself.

Dear Mashreq credit card team,
I have been using mashreq credit card for last 4 years and not even single dhms out standing in my card and no late payment till now,
But now i am very much upset with your bank service, they have activated pay protect service without proper communication and charged me AED 961 which is relay not affordable from my side,
I have given reversal request many times but not even ready listen my words and slimy they are closing the request without reversal
Again i registered the complaint today # 6399869
Requesting you to investigate this issues and do the reversal at the earliest
However my card has been expired and i will collect the new card once the reversal done, otherwise I am not going to continue the business with your bank,

On 11/04/2017 my access to the online banking was suspended, the reasons was the updating of company documents with the bank, I visited mashreq bank - king abdul aziz branch, I met ms manisha, and I showed her my original passport, all documents she asked for was legalised from uae embassy in london and fco in uae, I have been in touch with our account manager mr m azeem ([protected]@mashreq.com) and ms manisha email ([protected]@mashreq.com) but both said it takes few days to sort it out, however 14 days passed without an progress.
Please I need you help to access online services to pay salaries and suppliers.

To be a Mashreq client means to be disturb at least 3-4 times a day with promotional calls.
I does not matter how much you complain. I you have high credit card movements they try to sell you any kind of banking product and continue calling you.
In a actual case i accepted on of the offers for Easy Cash per Phone. After the phone call with a banking officer call me back to confirm all the details.
3 days later Mashreq is not even able to find out which person talk to you and what was the "Deal" about.
And of course the agreed payment did not happen.
I spend 4 hours on the phone with customer service and got NO result.
Conclusion: Highly unprofessional

We would like to complaint about the SHORT deposit receipt being generated by the ATM machine ID # SCU9901 at Deira Dubai.
One of our staff went to deposit AED 26000/- to the ATM machine on 14.09.2016 at 22.49 pm to the ATM machine under the ID # SCU9901, the machine has accepted AED 26000/- deposit but the deposit receipt being generated with the confirmation amount of deposit AED 22000/- instead of original deposit of AED26000/-.
On receipt of short deposit confirmation from the ATM machine at the same time he called complaint center & lodged complaint to call center agent ADITIYA between 10:40-10:50 pm under the complaint ref # 5748127 about the short deposit of AED 4000/-being confirmed by the ATM machine.
The complaint center agent informed to our staff that we have registered your complaint & after the investigation within 24 hours, short deposit amount of AED 4000/- to be credited in the same account.
Please note after the comprehensive reconciliation by our Finance department during the period from September 2016 until now the short deposit amount of AED 4000/- still not being credited in our account.
it is to be noted that we were keep waiting for the last 6 months with the expectation that the short deposit amount of AED 4000/- to be credited in our account at any given time but sorry to inform you that still the amount is not being credited & we are really surprised that there is no feedback from MASHREQ bank in regards of short deposit confirmation by the ATM machine for which the complaints being registered on the date of incident that there is a short deposit of AED 4000/-being confirmed by the ATM machine the original deposit amount AED 26000/- being accepted by the machine but deposit receipt being generated for AED 22000/- instead of original amount of AED 26000/- (copy attached).
At the end we request to MASHREQ BANK AUTHORITIES to look into our problem & request to please speed up the solution of the ongoing problem which needs urgent settlement for the reconciliation of old outstanding of AED 4000/-for our account adjustment.

It was 17 months ego I went to the mashriq bank (Alghurair Center branch)and I asked about the personal loan rates and any promotions if they have so they asked me about my salary, the company which I'm working how long I'm in dubai ect...
then they told me they can give me a flat rate which is 3.6 and they said I need to provide the documents to open an account first so I did including liability latter from the current bank which I have loan, since the current bank was asking me to show them the offer letter from the mashriq bank and they were saying we are not allowed to give the offer letter now there was a clerk how had a contact in the NBD bank (dubai mall branch) they helped me to get it,
once I got the liability letter and opened account they said they are not able to give me the rate which they offer at the beginning 3.6 flat rate, then they said 3.73 flat rate I had no choice after many days running after it I accepted with the flat rate 3.73,
after I opened the account I asked them what about the promotion that you will give me a( Samsung mobile phone or tablet ) then they said it is out of stock once it comes we will call you,
then they start to deduct the first installment and was deducted around three hundred fifty dirhams extra as per the installment schedule which they give me,
I went to the bank and informed them about they told me they will send an email to the accounts next month your money will be back to your account but it didn't happen next month also they deduct same extra, after seven months running after it almost every week one time I was in the branch on my day of,
at the last it worked and luckily they said I will get my money back for the seven months with they deduct extra but once I went to ask for my money they said they will reduce it from my principle amount, again I asked branch manager with this much inconvenience which I had with your bank at least give me an other print of instilment schedule so I will know monthly how much is my principle and interest I'm paying but again Mr. Mahmud (brunch manager) said we are not allowed to give you the print,
then I asked again about my phone or tablet they had to give me as per the promotion was there when I transferred my account to mashriq but again Mr. Mahmud said that I don't have credit card they can't give me,
and now since I have a personal loan which is in flat rate my monthly instilment as per the principle schedule(EMI) every month once I am paying the amount of principle installment should be increased on the pepper and interest which I'm paying should be reduced but it is not happening, any way I'm trying to move from mashriq bank and I hope this information will help you to reduce your mistakes at least others will not face the trouble and the problems which I faced.

Every month I am paying sewa bill from my current account of mashreq.
From last 2 months, march & april I noticed, mashrq is giving amount aed 10 more than the actual bill. I paid last time as I was not sure but this month again?
My bill is aed 629 & amount to paid is coming as aed 639.

Does this AED 10 extra apply if we pay on SEWA counters by Cash?. Because paying by credit card again they are charging 2.5% extra.
This is not by the Bank, but by SEWA itself. If you pay from any channel they'll charge AED, 10.00 on top of the billed amount as 'knowledge fees'. I too am disturbed over this as there was no any formal notice or info on this.
