I got charged for a membership that I don't got. They took 75 bucks from me. I called them up to fix it but they ain't done nothing yet. I did sign up for a membership a year ago but then I got a job there and they cancelled it. Now, I don't work there no more and haven't been there for 4 months but they still charged me.

I went to MaxFitness Auburn a few times and they charged my card every month even though I didn't sign a contract. Now I got a letter saying I owe them money and they're threatening to mess up my credit. I looked into it and it seems like they do this to a lot of people. I hope they fix this soon.

Dey tryna make me pay $300.00 to cancel my membership. I been tryna cancel my membership wit Max for da last 2 months. Jus now got a response. I ain't never been to Max Fitness, never even checked in. Dey emailed me talkin bout if I don't pay da $300.00 dey gonna send me to collections. I'm cool wit payin da $99 cancellation fee, but I ain't payin no $198.96 when I ain't even been to da gym cuz COVID spiked right after I signed up.

I was in grad skool wen I herd my dad died. I called to cancel my MaxFitness membership and thot it was done. I was only in the area temp so I was happy with the gym and staff. But then I had to leave Alabama fast cuz of my dad. I called to cancel again but then I got a bill for $714. I dunno where they got that number from and I don't agree with it. When I called the collection agency they were super rude and didn't wanna help me. I think this gym targets college kids and makes it hard to cancel so they can charge big fees.

I had 2 accounts with MaxFitness Auburn that went to collections and messed up my credit. I talked to a lady when I moved away from Auburn and told her about it. She said she'd take care of it and close my account since I wasn't using the gym anymore. But I never got any notification and then debt collectors started calling me all the time. They didn't care what I said, they just wanted money. I used to like MaxFitness, but not anymore. I want to know how to get these 2 collections accounts off my credit report so I can stop worrying about money. I know people make mistakes, but I don't want to go to court. Thanks.

I stopped going to Max Fitness in Auburn, AL over 2 months ago but they keep charging me. I pay $14.99 every two weeks for my membership, but I never signed a long-term contract. I canceled my membership on 5/18 because I'm moving more than 25 miles away from their gym. But they still charged me 5 times since then. They say it takes 30 days to cancel, but it's been over 60 days now. I went to the gym twice to fix this, but they said I never canceled even though I showed them the confirmation I got from them. They took my info and said corporate would contact me, but they haven't yet. They also said I'd get a refund for the 3 times they charged me after my cancellation, but I'm more worried about not getting charged anymore since I'm moving across the country.
