unauthorized credit card charges, unethical behaviour
Went on Mediafuz.com after they have charged me an amount of $49.95 without any notice. Their website say: "I just signed up and have not received my login information? - Your login information was sent to the email address you signed up with. Try checking the spam or junk folder. If you still can't find it, call our support team at +[protected]." I have received no e-mail and obviously he refused to send me any, so I could not be aware that I have an upcoming charge. Then of course the bully Customer Service Rep Marco Jacob refused to refund me on the charge which I could not be aware about without having any e-mail notification from them. Transcript attached. I was struggling 2 days in a row to get my refund and he just closed the chat. (Please change the format from png to txt to read the chat transcript)
Mediafuze has taken 82.63 Nz dollars out of my account without authorization for a service I didn't sign up, therefore please refund my money back to my account. i don't know where the company is and why this money was taken from my account because i didn't sign up for this website.
from NZ.
Goodmornig I have a charge on my crediti card of 57, 95 euro on 18/06/2019.
I didn't order anything. So please refuse the all amount.
I noticed that there was no paypal option on their 'sign-up' page... this mind you after the ads plug you for free movies online instantly... when you arrive at the site, there is credit card billing info... ok... why am I being offered credit card options, because the ticklers to the site state " freee online streaming, your favorite movies etc etc.
The site then says... (question ;) why do I need to load credit card information? (answer :) no waiting... free movies instantly.
Ok... wait. wasn't that what the site stated in the first place?
It doesn't take rocket science to start to smell scam. I realized ere is no paypal option and then I googled here.
Sure enough, complaints board notations of unauthorized charges all this year. sounds like a super scammy company, that
Wont be in business long enough but to take some unauthorized charges before ftc shuts them down.
The point here? paypal is pretty much my litmus test... paypal will do the background screening for a consumers in the sense they don't partner up with anything fraudulent. they do keep a 1800 # (still..!) and that means that we can always trouble shoot any fictitious charges.
Even if you do decide to give your credit card to a company (which I don't) if you don't see paypal in the charges mix, I would be running the other direction. fast.
SCAM company pure and simple, i signed up for something else and got directed to the mediafuz site to complete registration and moments later got a warning text from my actual bank saying my account has been blocked due to suspicious activity and was informed when i rang the bank they have been having a lot of trouble with this so called company recently they start off with a charge of $1 and then proceed to take $150 a month without consent. it is set up to steal from you people so don't fall for it they won't last long if no one signs up with them
perdona a mi me han hecho igual me podrias decir que hizistes y si hay un numero de tlf gracias
I have a similar experience, this web said getting the card information is for the purpose of location, then after a few days, the card was chard 65 dollars. This is a scam web, a cheating company.
