Prescription
On November 30, 2022.
I refilled my dogs phenobarbital prescription for my dog Rascal instead of one month as prevoulsly filled for approximately 12.00 , it was six months.
I pulled up a good RX coupon and The Man at the time said he did not have the full six months so I was given three months, but was told I wouldn’t owe anything when I came back for the other three months. I paid over 66.00$ for this at the time.
Today 2/27/23 I went to get the other three months and I had to pay with the GoodRx $36.75. I indicated that I was told I paid in full for the entire thing last time. Amanda didn’t want to hear it. She wanted to charge 71.
I Explained the situation. I also pulled up good RX. I told her the first prescription was $12 and then when I came in in November and wanted to charge me a crazy amount and said Here’s the good RX for six months.
She said I should’ve done that when I came in last time. ? I stated I did I don’t know how much more insulting she could be by not listening to me,
I feel very deceived by the actions the pharmacy at store#206 on Randal Rd in Algonquin, Il. 60102.
Amanda could use some training in How to tactfully speak to customers as well.

Your false ads
I recieved a flyer in the mail. And promtley followed the instructions & drove to the Meijer Store close to us in Hudsonville. We intended to use the coupons that you sent us. And upon filling our grocery cart with all of the coupon items you stated. At the checkout, our M-Perks did not work, & it hasn't since. The cashier stated that there is a problem with this type of coupon already. Please, is this false advertising? We were very upset. First you try to change the coupons we have used in the past. by making it completely STUPID, Second the M-Perks no longer works as usual. And if you think that will keep us or any other mature family to come back. You maybe sadly mistaken. Am very dissppointed with this type of coupons. Save your money, they are worthless. And this type of coupon is worthless as well. Am sorry that whom ever thought this was a good idea...
NOT... our M-Perks is [protected] And I actually feel sorry for you, as this was a very dumb idea. Not all seniors are savy with there phones and all it does is make one upset. Maybe it is time to check out competitors for coupons. Theres works.

We've not been pleased with the changes to their coupon policy, too! The old paper coupons used to work very well and the ones mailed to us tended to be the kinds of items that we would use. Not sure who is responsible for the push-to-digital change, but that change in policy does seem to suggest less caring about elderly customers!

I have had the worst experience ever since I have transferred my prescriptions for my family to this pharmacy and I really regret it, the staff are always super rude in person and over the phone and they all act very nonchalant and sound like they all hate they jobs, I have been in customer service over 20 years and I could never act this way towards customers or I’m sure I would no longer have a job, I am considering transferring me and my family prescriptions again due to the extreme rudeness of entire staff at this pharmacy even though it is such a hassle to do but I no longer want to keep dealing with it and my family have had the same experience as well and pretty fed up at this point and things need to change asap because this is ridiculous the terrible service people are experiencing

No access to fitting rooms
Why are there no more fitting rooms at Meijers? The bathrooms do not make good fitting rooms! If you sell clothes, you expect to be able to try them on before purchase! Having to buy an item of clothing only to return it is very frustrating. After a few times of doing that, I now do not buy anything I cannot try on. I purchase only a sweater or coat or something similar. Every other store has fitting room access, Kohls, Target, Macys, Pennys, and e very other store that sells clothes. Meijers is the only one that doesn't. I am not the only one who feels this way. All my friends and even customers in the store complain. I think you are losing money from purchases not made. If you think getting a customer back in the store for a return, they will purchase something else is not the case. I would wait until I had to go to the store anyway or I would be so mad at having to make another trip to the store, I would just return the item and leave. I find I am now shopping elsewhere for clothing and even for food items. I am not shopping at meijers as often. Please revise your policy and open up the fitting rooms asap!

Barefoot wine (not getting the sale price)
So for the whole month of January I was buying barefoot wine thinking I was getting the sale price for 5.39 a bottle I was being charged 5.99. I was also at 2 different Meijer stores and this occurred at both! So why do you have sale tickets if your not going to honor it? I told the cashiers about this and they acted like I was lying about it which ticked me off! I used to go in your store almost daily. I would like the refunds for this issue asap, This is another issue but the price gauging going on at your stores is insane for instance my hair spray (garnier) was 3.59 now in one jump it's 6.59, that's just ridiculous, so I won't be using hair spray for a while. It's not just that cat food seems almost weekly that the price goes up, I've been very frustrated with all these issues lately. Use to be your store was my first and favorite that I would go to, now not so much. MW.
Desired outcome: Refund for all the wine I got overcharged for. Oh stay open 24 hours! Bring your prices back down.

Dear Meijer:
I tried several time today to enter my card number in the online site for meijer. It was denied. When I called Meijer to see why, the worker told me my card was denied by my bank. When I called my bank to see why they denied the card, my bank stated "Barbara we did not deny your card we gave it an approval code, it is not us".
It appears to me that someone is sabotaging my orders because of the type and amount of trouble I am having online.
My troubles started a while back when I called the digital department and spoke to the worker. After I voiced that it was a strained not to be able to change from pickup to delivery after the order had been placed. I literally called seconds after I realize my mistake. It was an oversite on my part because I had never picked up from Meijer at that time, so I did not noticed it had switched from the delivery icon to pick up. I didn't have a car so I explained it was a hardship for me. After that conversation with the online worker my troubles online has never ended.
I did write my complaint at that time. I have not ordered on line from Meijer for about six months.
Today when I called back to try and make the worker aware of what my bank told me, she never answered. I just remained on hold for over 10 minutes.

Coupons
We used to get coupons in the mail that we took into the store & redeemed them when shopping at Meijer's. Now when we went in yesterday the cashier told us we were supposed to add them to our perks? Not sure what she meant or even how to do this. Older folks like us do not know about all the new tings out there & I do not even know how to do that. Please go back to the regular coupons that we can bring with us & get the discounts we deserve.

To whom may concern, Meijer’s is not a union. They don’t care about the Co workers, they want to be mean and they don’t care if you have a family they just want to hurt you. Be carful with the products did such as jars, cans and boxes it will break or fall on you. Just watch your back. Be careful with the items the prices don’t match with the area, double checking the prices.
Customer service
I contacted Meijer Pharmacy in Harrison Ohio. I attempted to reach someone for over 30 minutes. Each time that the call was accepted, someone answered the phone and hung up. Finally, someone answered the phone and placed me on hold without greeting me. This is unprofessional. I need my prescriptions filled and I do not want to wait hours by showing up.

On January 2,2023 I was leaving the Meijers on Portage Rd. I went through the scan line and had to get assistance from a cashier to finish my purchase. I attempted to leave and was stopped by the greeter at the door (C Nicole). She stated that I needed to produce a receipt and I said no I just paid for my items I'm not showing you anything, she proceeded to call me several [censored]es and snatched my items out my cart. When I retrieved my items another girl with purple hair grabbed my items. I told her if it was a problem to call the police. I then returned in the store and returned all the items in my cart; this was very unprofessional and could have gone a whole norther way. The manager a lady was rude in returning my money and act like she did not care. Another manger a guy walked pass with the rude lady and never addressed the situation.
Check Out Downsized and Broken
I travel across the midwest for work and stop at a meijer almost daily for my lunch amd dinner supplies. Many stores are great and I appreciate the setup Meijer has.
I rarely talk with people while in line, but conversations got me involved today about how broken the checkouts have gotten. We had 4 check outs out of order and the manager didnt think or is prevented from just opening the other kiosk machines on the general merchandise side.
Two 5 items or less was working. The clothing and flower departments were blocked by the strings of people figuring out how to get in line...
This was in Marquette Michigan but I've seen Mishawaka Indiana be horrible. When it comes to far too few self checkouts available. The functioning self check outs being down obviously lacks a good excuse. It comes across as Meijer cant afford to run both self check outs... the fact that at 5pm almost made me put my things on the floor and walk out.
Desired outcome: Open all the self checkouts during the earily evening. Its obvious if people want to steal they can simply just get fed up waiting in line and walk out. So drop excuses and open the lines.

I was charged twice for my purchase on 12-3-22. I contacted my credit union, my local meijer where the transaction took place. A complaint has been filed with my credit union. The number given to me by my local store was an incorrect number. I need this resolved as soon as possible. The debit from my account was over $141 and it was debited twice. I used the auto check out since there seems to never be any real cashiers available.
Please advise me of my next steps. This amount of money taken from my account has caused me financial hardship.

Store Management
Store Director at store 317 treats team members like they are her subjects. Talks down to them and belittles them daily. Her name Is Marcella Mathis, she needs a crown to rule over her idiot team members, as she treat all very badly! Beware of this store and company, as reporting this does NO GOOD! This occurred in all of November 2022, and some of December 2022. I called my union, made them aware of this. They said they knew , but nothing ever happen"s, especially if you are a black female working for a Michigan company!

On Friday, November 11th, I went into the Alexis Rd . Meijer in toledo, Ohio. I purchased the general sol chicken. They use to make this so good. However, this time it didn't taste right and their was ABSOLUTELY no sauce which is what makes this awesome. The chicken wasn't tender and this was so bland especially without the awesome sauce & spice. Just very disappointed the general sol is not how it used to be. I was told by deli person that she has a hard time getting the helpers to make the sauce. Thank you for listening.

I was going thru Line 7 at Store# 55 (16 and VanDyke in Sterling Heights, MI) and my cashier (Nadia) was quick but she was in a hurry to get each customer out. I was packing my groceries and trying to be fast. She packed 2 of them. Before I could get my groceries packed, off the counter, and into my cart, she was ringing up the next customer. I had finally had enough of being rushed, and lost it. I raised my voice and said could you please hold up and let me finish packing my groceries to which she replied I am packing theirs right here. She than proceeded to reach over and grab my aluminum foil and put it in the customers bag she was ringing up. I totally lost it than and started to really raise my voice and said I have an idea why don't you help me with my packing to which she replied "I don't have a bagger". I than proceeded to grab the bag with the aluminum foil and she ripped it out of my hands and pulled something else out and said is this it? She was very rude and was looking at me like I was in the wrong. I just spent $317.00 of my hard earned money. I do not appreciate it. She also did not let me do the survey. She reached over and punched it in herself. I can guarantee she punched I was happy with my service. I was not. I do like shopping at Meijers, but not if your associates are going to treat customers this way. I believe she is trying to prove she is quick. She's too quick, when she can not even finish with one customer, before moving on to the next. A few months back, my neighbor was in her line. The customer before her started yelling on how she was disrespectful to her. My neighbor and I did not see it and we stuck up for her. After today I am thinking we were wrong. It was not self checkout and I was not aware it was the customers job to pack their own groceries.
Desired outcome: I would like an in person apology from her, along with her taking a class on how to treat customers. I would greatly appreciate a response from Meijers. Thank-you.
Self checkout
I went to self checkout today and had a small cart. I bought 2 big bags of liner pads for the elderly which took up the bottom of my cart and 2 bug bags of depends as well as a 4 CT sealed Kleenex big box, a box with shoes, a total of 27 items. The lady kicked me out of self checkout and told me I had more than 20 items. Keep in mind you only had 4 registers open and all the lines were very long. I just had major back surgery and cannot stand long so did not want to stand in a long line. I wasn't even shopping for myself. It was for my elderly hospice mother. I am applauded I couldn't check myself out and you are short handed. I went to the Milford oh location today and it is 4:25 pm and it was the pharmacy side I tried checking out of. Shame on your company for not letting anyone help themselves and have no help. I am very upset.

Over charged
Bought 2-12pk Lipton Tea at sale price. I was charge for a third Lipton Tea. Did not realize it until I got home and look at receipt. How do you go back to the store and tell them I was charge for three and only bought two? Who are they going to believe? Meijer's printer paper 500ct on shelf was marked $5.99. Was charged $6.99.
