Melio Payments DON'T BOTHER

DON'T BOTHER. The most unethical company ever. My payment failed - FINE. But please tell me where my business's $7,500 has been for the last 2 PLUS weeks?!?!?! The initial payment was supposed to go through on Feb 14. It is Feb 28 today and no one has the money. Not my business, not my vendor. Just Melio! And the payment supposedly failed on Feb 24th. So when do I get my money back? But the worst part is, I cannot get ahold of anyone! I have tried the customer service line - it puts you on hold for the longest time and then just hangs up on you. I've tried the chat and am still waiting. I emailed their customer service 3 days ago, and got a generic bot response but nothing else. Meanwhile my vendor is *** that they didn't get their money. Please don't even chance it with this company. Melio is for ripping people off and then NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Our printing company received a call from Melio Payments. The rep said they were representing one of our clients (Client A) and asked if we accepted single use credit cards as payment. I told the rep I would have to check with our billing department and would need to get back to him. Our billing department said Client A was already set with us for ACH Bank transfers. I contacted our client directly asking them if they were moving their payments onto the Melio Payment platform. They replied they had never heard of or dealt with Melio Payments before. The representative from Melio called back the next day saying he had just gotten off the phone with our accounting person (which he not spoken to her at all). He said he needed her number to call her back. This person was blatantly phishing for information.The people in our company are extraordinarily unhappy with Melio's business practices and we will encourage all of our clients to not do business with them.

I am an independent contractor for a tutoring school in *** and I've been having issues ever since I had to use Melio to receive payments. The first issue is receiving micro-deposits to verify my bank account. I've tried about three different times and waited several days but no bank deposit to be found. I contacted chat support to resolve my issue but they had to escalate the request. The next day I receive an email from them saying that I am not an 'individual' and can't use their service so they are suspending any transactions to my account. I am an independent contractor! The school advised to me to delete the Melio account and make a new one since there is no reason why they should flag my account. I can't even find a button to deactivate my account! So I have to go back onto chat again. I've already spent hours of my time at this point. Now, I am still waiting to hear back from support about next steps. Very frustrating.

This company just called me and tried to bully me into joining, claiming it was the only way one of our clients (who when we very rarely do work with them, pay via ACH like nearly everyone we deal with) will be via Melio.Sketchy, bossy. No.

Wow. Can't even begin to describe the INCREDIBLE experience I had with Melio.Let me tell ya, I got on the chat this morning about to pull a ***. I was expecting a check in the mail a week ago already two weeks after the check was sent out and still hasn't arrived. The note at the bottom of the email, please allow extra time during the holiday season, as if my bills get postponed too because of the holiday season. WHAT A JOKE!Then I met ***.Hopped on the chat, she helped me get set up with my bank information and will have everything direct deposited by the end of day tomorrow! She was patient and listened and really flipped this whole situation upside down. If the opportunity presents itself in the future I will happily be doing business with this company in the future!Thanks again ***!

I voided an online payment 30 minutes after I processed it. Yes Melio still took $19,400 NINETEEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS out of my account. I have been trying to get it back for over a MONTH! I have waisted so many hours on this. Every time I actually get ahold of someone they promise they will get my money credited to my account "tomorrow". And it never gets done. I have tweeted them, chatted with them, called them, emailed their CEO, reported them (and ***). We are a small family business and this is a huge deal for us. We can not operate missing that amount of money for that long.

Melio has taken $5,580 of my company's money, held it for payments they *** as failed, and REFUSED to return it to my company as the result of "COVID" and being BUSY. They did not issue credit to my company, simply were supposed to be payment processor, and now have STOLEN $5,580 from my company. I'm stuck between either refuting in bank or waiting on them to actually return the money. I have been following up for over 40 days, and they just keep telling they are busy. This isn't a past due *** or a dispute, this is money Melio took from my account for payments they failed to make and have kept for other a month. I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA HOW THIS IS LEGAL. CRIMINALS.

Melio Payments Where do I start with this business that profile their customers

Where do I start with this business that profile their customers. So one of my vendors informed me of this company to send him payments using my credit card to send him money as a wire/deposit. So I submitted a payment and both were cancelled then I received an email stating that routine audits my account is not authorized and blocked. Stating that I am not a legal business. For the record they never asked for documents and or business license or reseller certificate or tax documents. I understand their ability to protect their company but to just write off a business without allowing the company to prove they are a legal business is a terrible model. Please save your time from this company terrible practices and terrible service. Btw I was referred to this last week (2/24/22) and will for sure inform my suppliers vendors and business partners to not conduct business with this company.

Avoid at all costs! After very successfully using them for 4 months, with hundreds of thousands in payments going out, they suddenly, without reason, deactivated our account and refused to contact us directly. "Support" could not discuss of divulge why we were suddenly left high and dry with payments out and scheduled, yet never delivered, which is no way to do business. If you suddenly deem a company has a problem, you need to explain and give them the opportunity to correct an issue. Now we are thus blocked from making payments through our longtime accounting software, *** because they are tied together. None of the phone numbers we could find for them actually worked. HORRIBLE, unethical business practices. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

Melio Payments I tend to despise online reviews

I tend to despise online reviews. I think therefore lonely bitter people to complain about how the world doesn't cater to them. However, I would be amiss if I didn't leave a comment here specifically for the service I received from the Melio staff. I had a major interruption in my business due to a misunderstanding from the compliance office at Melio. This disruption was worthy of a one-star review but you'll notice I gave it a five-star review. That is because ***, my account representative, when above and beyond to fix the problem.Things happen in business, no one or no company is perfect. However, I tend to put a lot of weight behind the people a company employees and how those people resolve things when they go wrong.Other than that little glitch the software is great, it saves me hours every week and has been a great way to organize my accounts payables and accounts for receivables. That's it.

Melio Payments ACH payment processed in 2022, trust in accounting system, amount unspecified, Melio involvement

We have processed an ACH payment from our account in 2022, with trust in our accounting system for an unspecified amount, and Melio is a third party for processing ACH payments. We were not aware of Melio's role until our bank investigated. The payment never reached our vendor since April 20, 2022. Our bank advises contacting Melio, but we've had no success in resolving the issue with them. Melio's customer service has been unreachable, with non-functional phone numbers and unavailable online live support. We urgently need assistance; we are a small business and require the funds that were deducted from our account but not paid to our vendor. Since Melio's support team has not been helpful, we hope this message prompts a higher-level response from Melio to address our problem.

Melio Payments So far, I've been happy with Melio's services

So far, I've been happy with Melio's services. I experienced an issue right away setting up my first client/receiving my first payment, and the team was able to resolve the issue after a few days (the client account was duplicated and not showing up under my dashboard, and the initial payment requested scheduled by the client wasn't processing). Thankfully, my client was understanding and willing to go into the system multiple times to ensure I was getting paid. While initially frustrating, I have to say the customer support has been satisfactory. My representative, ***, pivoted during our initial introductory call to speak to the issue and start getting it addressed by the technical team right away. *** was responsive throughout issue resolution with multiple email exchanges. Overall, I believe the tech issue was a one-off and am excited about the future using Melio/confident in the customer support that I'll receive if anything else comes up.

Melio Payments After nearly three weeks of troubleshooting why I could not pay a vendor through Quickbooks, it came down to an issue with Melio

After nearly three weeks of troubleshooting why I could not pay a vendor through Quickbooks, it came down to an issue with Melio. When you call Melio for support, one person answers the phone and takes verbal message for support (who has only had one person that I have been able to contact over the course of two weeks by either phone or email.) This person cannot answer the questions about the problem and wants to jump right into manually releasing payments versus solving the problem of why all my payments to a vendor are requiring the vendor to input the bank information for every transaction. All supervisors are in meetings for hours and customer support keeps repeating that payments are stuck without being able to explain why do it does not happen again. Quickbooks and Melio point fingers and customer is stuck in the middle. I am switching to the standard that Quickbooks now uses for Bill Pay Online versus spending more than 14 hours on the phone trying to pay one vendor.

Melio Payments I tried submitting a payment to a vendor, and received a notification that my payment could not be processed 2 days later

I tried submitting a payment to a vendor, and received a notification that my payment could not be processed 2 days later. I contacted customer support only to be told that my account has been disabled due "team's inability to authorize account with the registration details provided. We are not able to share specifics around our decision." Then they added "if we felt there was information that would have helped us proceed with the transaction we would have reached out to request it." *** feels very sketchy and the fact that they won't let you know why they won't do business with you after you have already began doing business with them is just rude and unprofessional. It says response time is 20 minutes, which is not the case. I'm now being told to wait 24 to 72 hours for them to get back to my inquiry. This is time I don't have as I am already late on a payment. I am now concerned that if they are willing to just extract a bunch of sensitive data from you only to tell you a couple of days later that they don't want to do business with you then what are they doing with that data? I will be care fully review there terms as this seems very unethical.

Melio Payments I was to be paid every 2 weeks

I was to be paid every 2 weeks. My employer approved a same day payment (ACH payments can be done in 1 day. The 3 business days some companies try to claim is a tool built in by risk management) and Melio failed to pay me. They also didn't pay me the following business say. Since my assignment had ended in ***, I was driving back to *** when this was all taking place. I used their messenger system to ask where my money was and the response was they would get back to me. 4 hours later I finally here from them. They tell me if I have a problem with the estimated 5 DAYS I'd have to wait to get paid, I needed to speak with my employer. I had already done that and said the date of payment had been approved and they needed to pay me. This circular conversation went on fir *** Since I was driving a phone call was easier than to try and keep messaging. Instead, I received another message from the manager. I asked her to call me. She NEVER did, nor did she reply to me via message. So, they're holding on to my money, past the approved payment date and refusing me the courtesy of a phone call. WORST company ever.

Would rate this payment service 0 stars if I could. Company is not transparent about their business practices and unwilling to work with their customers when contacting their customer service team. Was planning on using this for many business transactions but unfortunately they are not willing to help resolve any issues encountered with the payment process. Be aware that if your *** transaction get cancelled for ANY reason that is not your fault, you can still get charged for processing fee regardless. It's simply a waste of resources and you will always have uncertainty when processing these transactions. When I contacted support about a failed they simply won't go into any further details and provided the following details. They will then proceed to block you without allowing you to respond back to support. Unfortunately, your account has been disabled from completing any transactions due to our teams inability to authorize your account with the registration details provided. We are not able to share specifics around our decision.Please know that if we felt there was information that would have helped us proceed with the transaction we would have reached out to request it.

Melio Payments A financial service is the one that connected me with Melio

A financial service is the one that connected me with Melio. I was starting with a new payment system and was told I can make payments through a third-party service (it's actually made through Melio, and that part is not communicated very well). However, I knew that the payment system is a reputable company so I trusted Melio because of its relationship with them (big mistake). Melio was very kind and helpful at first when I started using their service. However, Melio would continuously hold on to money when I'm making payments to vendors for a lot longer than what they actually told me. They were very adamant about knowing details about my business, I answered all their questions and gave them all my information details. Yet, they would hold on to my money for weeks instead of 3 business days like they advertise. When I would try to receive payments from customers they would hold on to money again. I would get emails from the company saying that my money is on its way and will be in my bank account soon. Yet, it's over two weeks and I still don't have my money. No emails, no phone calls, no word from this company about the delay in receiving my payment. I called them about 5 voicemails, 6 emails, and I couldn't get in touch with anyone from this company. When I did hear from the company, they said they couldn't do anything and I need to contact the compliance team, but there was no number for compliance, only an email, and I emailed them over three times, and to this day, I still haven't heard back from the compliance team. At the very beginning, I informed Melio what kind of business I'm running and got their approval. However, they later changed their mind about approval and they canceled my payment without telling me they canceled it and said it was because they don't assist with personal payments. Nothing about the transaction was personal, Melio had my EIN number, my business email, invoice, and knowledge about the service I provide. It makes no sense why they would cancel my invoice of money coming in saying it's because it looks personal. They should have contacted me, but they canceled without even telling me! In my opinion, this company is incompetent and not trustworthy. I would be very careful with allowing this company to service your financial needs especially when it comes between you and the customer. This payment system will make you LOSE Business. Very disappointed with this company and I cannot recommend this company.

Melio payments is a black box in terms of customer support for most of the departments, or they will say they want to help on a public channel (such as *** or *** but when you reach out after their public response, there is no follow-up, or it's been incredibly unhelpful. For example, they asked me to DM them on *** for support, but they need to follow me on *** to do that, and they never followed me or responded to me noting that. I was trying to get ahold of them for almost a month, to no avail, and resorted to writing about them on ***, where they did respond publicly, only to follow-up with an email saying my email didn't match my account (which it did). For me, the 1/5 stars are all about communication or the lack thereof. I would still like to use the product at some point, but another vendor provided me with what I needed.*** Review below (***):Melio is definitely a cool product, especially for small business owners just getting started that need to bolt-on infrastructure quickly. That said, the product itself still feels new. Theres little communication or clarity and no true onboarding process. It wouldnt be a big deal if it werent for the fact that the compliance side of the business is a huge part, and one unintentional wrong step and youre out of the platform with no reason why (literally 404 pages outside of the main account once you login). Additionally, Payments are canceled, and neither the vendor nor you are told why, and youll get mixed messages from support. All of this can be fixed - growing pains for sure - but giving no insight or offering help when money is at stake with vendors doesn't feel good.Update - 7/28: I've reached out to Melio's compliance team based on the response from Melio, and I will give an update based on that. So far, all of my responses to the compliance team haven't been returned (and it's been over two weeks).Update - 8/3: The compliance team responded on 7/29 to let me know I had emailed from an address that didn't have an account and for me to email from the account with the address. I did in fact email from the address with the account and sent a screenshot confirming that on the Melio account page, I was logged into the same day. I still haven't heard back.Update - 8/5: It's been a week since the Meliop compliance team responded to tell me I wasn't emailing from the correct account, even after I responded, showing it is the correct and associated account. I reached out to Melio on ***, and they responded by asking me to DM them for them to take a look. The problem is I can't DM them since they won't follow me, and they haven't responded since. Emails that essentially say "following up, trying to get a response" have not been responded to.I will keep following up on email every few days, but it seems like Melio responded here to show they check the reviews but don't intend to follow through with the support. I hope I am proven wrong.Update - 8/12: No response from Melio since (7/29). It looks like they've responded publicly just to save face, but they had no intention of responding once I took this to private channels.

Melio Payments Payment services sent payment to wrong routing number

I Terrill Miller worked 1 day for Blondell events in Las Vegas in May. They use Melio company for payment. I received an email from Melio to put in my bank payment information. I did that and now 2 weeks later Melio says it sent my payment from Blondell events but it's not my routing number. Idk who my payment was sent to and where my money is at now. I do not know and haven't received payment

The payor adds your information manually or you add it on your side so it is not an automated process within Melio. If you keep seeing this on your payments, then you want to ask the payor's were they got the information for you as they may be getting it from Pride when trying to make payments to you.
However by your payor Decadence just needs to allow you to edit your bank details and this should permanently make that change for this payor.

Melio Payments Melio was processing an international ACH payment

Melio was processing an international ACH payment. The funds were supposed to arrive on April 25th and did not. Upon checking my account, I found a failed payment due to a "card" issue on April 28th. I contacted Melio support and chatted with *** on April 29th. *** informed me that it was not a card issue but a name mismatch. I confirmed the details as we used the information provided directly from the bank, and it was correct. The offer was to try again or to issue a refund, so I opted for the refund. *** informed me that this would take 2-3 business days. On May 5th we still had not received the funds so I contacted support again. The agent *** informed me that *** did not issue the refund and was also wrong about the processing time. The actual processing time was 3-5 days. As of today May 6th I still have not received the more than 18k being held by Melio.

I actually have more than one account with Melio. The account with an unresolved problem is for payments to be sent to my International Vendor in ***. I have initiated a wire payment in the amount of $3,284.00 and Melio has never refunded this back to me. I want my refund plus interest. They just keep customers money for extended periods of time earning interest on our money. On 05/03/202 my account was debited $3,284 and my supplier never received payment and I have not been refunded. I have sent emails with no response. There is NO PHONE number to call this company. If you have a problem, you are at the mercy of email and they will not respond. I would not recommend doing business with this company for any International wires!

Melio took $4,449.72 from our bank account to pay a vendor that amount. The funds cleared our account on May 24th to Melio. Melio never made the payment to the vendor. Today is June 13th, 3 weeks later and the vendor has yet to be paid. Melio's website shows the payment is "in transit" but says the are unable to track it, its the Vendor's responsibility from this point to find out where it is at. Melio does not have a real phone number, they only respond by chat. I have 3 unanswered emails and numerous chats requesting information on the status of the funds.

There was a failed payment on my account. I was NEVER notified the payment failed until I prompted the conversation, because the vendor contacted me. Melio had all kinds of excuses, none of which were true. Now I just want my money back, over $4,500.00 that they have stolen from us. I have asked several times for the money to be returned, but no one will respond. I have tried to contact them through their web site, through emails and through phone calls to get my money refunded. No one will respond. This has been going on since 6/15 - it is now 6/30/2022.

We used the online payment services of Melio which is synced with our Quickbooks online account to send refund checks to our patients.. Melio is supposed to send payments to your customers/vendors by debiting your bank account and sending a check in the mail to the intended recipient. I have attempted to reach Melio to discuss these online payments by calling the telephone number provided to me by Quickbooks ***). This is a recorded message and no live person to speak with. I have also sent several emails to their support email, with no reply.I need to confirm with Melio that our payments made online have been mailed to our patients. My bank has been charged, however, I have no idea if payments were mailed out and/or received except to contact all of our patients. If they are unable to do so, then I am requesting they return all funds withdrawn from our bank account.Attached is a list of checks requested.

I paid a vendor through Quickbooks using Melio back in March. The vendor never got the payment until almost a month later. I filed a dispute through Quickbooks and they sent me to Melio. I contacted Melio directly on April 29 via the ONLY way to contact them, which is online chat. I was told they would void the check and send my money back within 3-5 days. It's been 12 days and I have not received my money back. I was told someone would contact me yesterday before the close of business and no one contacted me. Today I was told someone would contact me and no one contacted me. I'm getting the runaround and they have my $5800. Please help.

I have sent $12,356.46 to Melio Payments to pay a vendor. Despite all the information being correct they failed to deliver the payment.The worse is that they are not reimbursing me. They have said multiple time that money is on the way and should be in my account in 3-5 business days but Its not two weeks and I have yet to be reimbursed.

Melio Payments We use QuickBooks Online, and Melio handles the bill pay payments for them

We use QuickBooks Online, and Melio handles the bill pay payments for them. We have discussed in length with QuickBooks that when we have updated addresses for our vendors that they are not pulling into the Bill *** area and that no edits can be made in the Bill *** area to correct them. QuickBooks verified that addresses were correctly saved and that Melio would need to be contacted regarding their integration not pulling in the addresses appropriately. We have called the phone number for Melio and it directs us to do one of two things for support 1) log in and use chat support or 2) send an email to *** and they will respond within 24 hours. #1 is not an option for us as we do not have a Melio account - Melio just supports the payment portion for QuickBooks and no separate Melio account is accessed. It has been 2 days since we contacted the email support as instructed with no response. We cannot pay vendors currently due to this issue and it is urgent.

Melio is all about non-payment and no customer service. It's a pretty website wrapped around a company that will: (1) keep your money, (2) pretend that they already paid you (they lie), (3) delay payment without a reason, (4) does not provide solution to their payment processing problems, (5) have no customer support, (6) redirect you back to the payor - when they ARE SUPPOSEDLY the payment processor. February 2022 to present (End of March): My experience with Melio is the following: Had a payor send me funds. Added my information to Melio (copy / paste from source). Look on dashboard and no payments noted (meaning they have buggy beta software, and cannot link important client information -> huge financial issue for the rest of us). I reach out to support. Support tells me to talk to the payor. *** tells me to talk to Melio. This cycle goes on for several email exchanges. Look for melio telephone number online - no one picks up (fake number). Melio lies and states that the payment was sent to me. I verify with bank... and obviously nothing. Bank tells me its on Melio. Come back to melio, and support is extremely vague and unhelpful. Go through several cycles of trying to obtain payment (so I can pay my business vendors). With several wasted business hours of complaining to melio, I get an offer from the payor to send my payment the slow way (check). Check was for first payments and extremely late. You would think that they were playing a joke on me, but I have another payment due (and it is not in on the date Melio specified). Melio is an inconvenient, poor-customer-service having, IT-failing, *** "payment processor". SUMMARY:Do not use! Untrustworthy, unhelpful, unworthy, unnecessary.I would not recommend them to my worst enemy- not in business, not personally, and not spiritually.

In conjunction with one of my clients seeking to pay an invoice on 3/18/22 I received a deceptive ad in my email directly from Quickbooks Online enticing me to sign up for a service. I inadvertently signed up for the service not understanding the implications because they were never mentioned or clearly outlined. Turns out the service which turns your billpay deposits into virtual debit cards adds additional delays to your invoice payment and charges you 3.4% fee for the service of depositing your money into your account when your client paid you directly with a check using billpay. Clearly, no one would use this service if they understood it. That why deception and obfuscation is used in order to trick QBO's paying customers into registering. The worst is that this is apparently a permanent arrangement, one for which they offer no way online as far as I can tell to terminate. I've now receieved 3 debit cards with my invoice payments on them that I can't deposit into my account without the 3.4% fee. I spoke with QBO support and was told by them I needed to call Melio support. I have called Melio support 6 times, each time i wait online for *** minutes and then am routed to a voicemail system. I have left 6 voicemails over the last 7 days with never a call back. I have sent emails to the support staff and many days later, no response. I am at a loss as to how to handle this.

I am infuriated. Melio took out an erroneous $25000 payment from my clients account on APRIL 14th. They were contacted immediately about the error and said that they would be refunding it within 3-5 business days. I have done their chats multiple times now and no one is fixing this problem. This is a significant amount of money that is not Melio's that they are holding onto it far longer than is reasonable. ACH is able to be processed immediately and we are now into our second week of Melio having our money. Is it going to be refunded with interest now? This is ridiculous. And why is there no phone number to reach a representative to actually get an answer? There is literally no recourse or accountability structure. You are at the mercy of their chat boxes and emails that continue to state 3-5 days even after that time has passed. They have no problem taking the money within moments of the payment being processed, and yet they are unable to place it back into an account within *** hours? Technology allows for ACH transfers that are immediate. This should not be happening. We are now on day 11. Is it still 3-5 days?

Melio Payments I use Melio in my business for sending and receiving payments

I use Melio in my business for sending and receiving payments. I have had 2 issues, the most recent Oct 7, 2021 a deposit of $640.00 was attempted and rejected to my business account that had been closed due to fraud. I thought I had changed the account number with *** but apparently it only applied to the payables. I have sent them the statement, along with the Trac #, from my bank showing the payment had been refused and am continuing to get the run around; They are "Looking into resolving this", their "Records show it as closed", "I will have an answer to you tomorrow", that was on Wed. here it is Friday and I have yet to hear from them. My first complaint was back in May, where I had transposed the numbers on a PO Box for a payable, they say the check was cashed by the box holder and it would take their bank up to 100 days to track it down. 100 days later I was told their payments are made to the address not the company, therefor there was nothing they could do to refund my $218.00.

I used Melio to receive payments from business customers. Melio showed these payments as processing, we allowed our customer to leave with the product and then Melio declined to process the payment stating that it was not a business transaction. All we do is business to business we are a commercial truck repair shop.We have been unable to collect payment from these customers and are out close to $7000.00 due to Melio's failure to process these payments

Melio Payments processed two payments via ACH that debited our corporate checking account. Their bank said they were payments to *** for services rendered to *** Construction. We do not do business with either company and never heard of ***. This seems to be for office design services or products. However, we closed our offices due to the pandemic a year ago and have no need for these services. Unless there is an inadvertent error by one of these companies involved, these withdrawals are fraudulent. One payment from 2/4/22 has been recaptured as it was flagged as fraudulent within 24 hours. We are trying to get the other returned. It is for $26,500, trace number ***. We were advised the invoice number referenced is ***. This is not our invoice number.We have contacted Melio about this and spoke to them twice, *** and *** in their customer service department. They said they were filing a fraud report with their bank and would update us on the status. We have not heard back from them and it has been several weeks. I have called them about 100 additional times and they do not pick up their phone. They say leave a message and it will be returned. I have left multiple messages with no return. We need Melio to respond to our request and resolve this fraudulent withdrawal from our account.

Melio is a payment processor. They were supposed to send a payment to one of our vendors for $393.00. They took the money from our account on 22DEC, but the vendor never received the funds. Melio has not provided any update or refund after making numerous attempts at contacting them. They have basically stolen the money and disappeared.

We initially contacted Melio support on 2/16 due to Melio randomly sending out multiple unscheduled payments to a vendor. After a couple days of not hearing back from support, I called the Melio support number on 2/18 to get the second random check cancelled and our money returned. The second check was finally cancelled on 2/23 and money returned to our checking account. After this mess I knew I didn't want this happening again and wanted to stop all scheduled payments on Melio. As a small business with limited funds having at random $4000 pulled from our account hurt us. I attempted to remove the scheduled payments from our account, but the scheduled payment was not appearing in our account. On 2/23 I contacted Melio support again, but they were not able to resolve the issue and stated it would need to be escalated. On 2/28 I contacted Melio support again about the issue, and I was told that since there was still a check to the vendor that needed to be deposited and once it was deposited we'd be able to cancel any future scheduled payments. We then waited for the check to be deposited on 3/7 then checked or account. Sure enough we still are not able to cancel the scheduled payments, since it does not show up in our Melio scheduled payments page. I contacted Melio support again on 3/9 and was told again that the issue would have to be escalated. I let Melio support know at this point we needed our account closed due to all these issues. I still haven't heard back from them and am so worried they will continue to take money from our account at random and there is nothing we can do. I've also tried calling over the past few days and haven't been able to reach anyone for support. Please help!

Sent that time, I have repeatedly requested additional information and my refunds be processed. I have sent complete lists and have been sent partial refunds but never has the complete list been refunded.Starting 10/28, I was told that they couldn't get the refunds transferred to my account, which didn't make sense because they had previously transferred refunds to my account. I was told I had to complete additional steps to link my banking account which I completed within days.I have repeatedly requested the name and direct phone number of management but have been denied that information on every request. What I would like to solve this problem is the money withdrawn from my account refunded to me. I have attached a spreadsheet of all payments that still have questions and need refunded as well as the Outlook message explaining the details of the spreadsheet.

We set up an account through Melio for *** payments on the recommendation from QuickBooks. We have made several *** transactions totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars to which we trusted were paid and taken care of because the money was removed out of our account. Come to find out months later after several past due notices from vendors, none of the payments were made, but all of the money was removed from our account. We have not gotten a response from Melio as of yet to get this fix. After finally searching through many online complaints regarding this issue and others, we figured out how to log into our Melio account. What we found is ALL of the *** payments failed to send and not one of the emails on the account were notified that this happened. Because of this we now run the risk of negative *** on our company credit and having to resend out all paper checks to get this taken care of. This heavily affects cashflow in a small company like ours and needs to be resolved NOW! All of these transaction need to be refunded back to our account and all fees need to be refunded as well.

Melio Payments I am infuriated

I am infuriated. Melio took out an erroneous $25000 payment from my clients account on APRIL 14th. They were contacted immediately about the error and said that they would be refunding it within 3-5 business days. I have done their chats multiple times now and no one is fixing this problem. This is a significant amount of money that is not Melio's that they are holding onto it far longer than is reasonable. ACH is able to be processed immediately and we are now into our second week of Melio having our money. Is it going to be refunded with interest now? This is ridiculous. And why is there no phone number to reach a representative to actually get an answer? There is literally no recourse or accountability structure. You are at the mercy of their chat boxes and emails that continue to state 3-5 days even after that time has passed. They have no problem taking the money within moments of the payment being processed, and yet they are unable to place it back into an account within *** hours? Technology allows for ACH transfers that are immediate. This should not be happening. We are now on day 11. Is it still 3-5 days?

Melio Payments I used Melio Payments to pay all my vendors

I used Melio Payments to pay all my vendors. On Dec 1st, 2021 I submitted a request to pay BNK constructions $15000. The first draft failed.On Dec 3rd, I rescheduled the payment.On Dec 6th, my account was drafted $15000. At the same day BNK deposited the check.On Dec 9th BNK's account shows check returned. On Dec 12th Melio sent me an email saying BNK deposited the check successfully.My bank never received any returned money. BNK's account never got paid. Both BNK and I tried to contact Melio starting from Dec 15th, 2021. Melio told me (the payor) that BNK cashed the check successfully; And told BNK (the receiver) that my bank was over drafted. That is why they did not receive the money. We have been requesting Melio to provide proof that they have either paid to BNK's bank or returned the money to my bank. All they provide is a check image, which is produced by them. No bank transaction is provided to back up their statement.My payment of $15000 disappeared in their system. Now they refused to pay, and refused to communicate. Melio's last response was Dec 28th, 2021. They provided no solution so far. No effort was put into looking for the fund.

Melio Payments Our company uses Melio to process bill payments

Our company uses Melio to process bill payments. We received a fraudulent request to change ACH details from an email that was made to look like one of our vendors. We changed the payment details and then caught it the next day. We notified Melio and the bank that the funds were sent to by Melio. The bank had not cleared the funds and only needed Melio to submit the claim to retrieve the funds back into our account. The amounts were $10,800 and $30.190.76. I personally spoke with the branch manager, got his contact info and shared it with the Melio representatives multiple times. They could not refund the funds to us directly since they were sent from Melio. I was assured multiple times it would be resolved, then eventually stopped receiving responses. The event occurred on 1/25, we verified and provided the information to resolve it on that day. They did not initiate an attempt to recover the funds until 2/9 at which point I am sure the scammer cashed out the account and moved the funds. The bank let us know that the timeline was short and were ready to refund the funds but Melio failed to follow up even after multiple follow *** by us to ensure they do so.

Melio Payments Melio Payments processed two payments via ACH that debited our corporate checking account

Melio Payments processed two payments via ACH that debited our corporate checking account. Their bank said they were payments to *** for services rendered to *** Construction. We do not do business with either company and never heard of ***. This seems to be for office design services or products. However, we closed our offices due to the pandemic a year ago and have no need for these services. Unless there is an inadvertent error by one of these companies involved, these withdrawals are fraudulent. One payment from 2/4/22 has been recaptured as it was flagged as fraudulent within 24 hours. We are trying to get the other returned. It is for $26,500, trace number ***. We were advised the invoice number referenced is ***. This is not our invoice number.We have contacted Melio about this and spoke to them twice, *** and *** in their customer service department. They said they were filing a fraud report with their bank and would update us on the status. We have not heard back from them and it has been several weeks. I have called them about 100 additional times and they do not pick up their phone. They say leave a message and it will be returned. I have left multiple messages with no return. We need Melio to respond to our request and resolve this fraudulent withdrawal from our account.

In conjunction with one of my clients seeking to pay an invoice on 3/18/22 I received a deceptive ad in my email directly from Quickbooks Online enticing me to sign up for a service. I inadvertently signed up for the service not understanding the implications because they were never mentioned or clearly outlined. Turns out the service which turns your billpay deposits into virtual debit cards adds additional delays to your invoice payment and charges you 3.4% fee for the service of depositing your money into your account when your client paid you directly with a check using billpay. Clearly, no one would use this service if they understood it. That why deception and obfuscation is used in order to trick QBO's paying customers into registering. The worst is that this is apparently a permanent arrangement, one for which they offer no way online as far as I can tell to terminate. I've now receieved 3 debit cards with my invoice payments on them that I can't deposit into my account without the 3.4% fee. I spoke with QBO support and was told by them I needed to call Melio support. I have called Melio support 6 times, each time i wait online for *** minutes and then am routed to a voicemail system. I have left 6 voicemails over the last 7 days with never a call back. I have sent emails to the support staff and many days later, no response. I am at a loss as to how to handle this.

Melio payments was offered as a service attached to a quickbooks cash account - a feature from quickbooks for their online users. There is minimal disclosures about the details of the third party nature when signing up and you just end up with an account though melio. As it turns out - despite touting security as their number one priority - our data was compromised and a check fraud scam was launched at our company using the information from our melio payment history. Since 5 pm yesterday 4/8 we have tried in vane through messages, emails and requests for calls to get in contact with someone regarding this emergency situation and have recieved ZERO assistance to this juncture. At 10am this morning after finally reaching an agant and explaining the situation - including sending screenshots of evidence as to what was occurring - we were assured we would get a call back from a manager with an explanation and assurance we could get rid of melio payments immediately. This company goes out of its way to not provide or i guess have to pay for any level of customer service and may even be supporting or propagating this scam in some way - or an employee of melio with access to the information may be perpetuating the scheme on their own. We do plan to alert authoritiies and the companies inabaility to provide any level of service has been noted and considered a red flag in relation to the fraud that is ongoing.

We initially contacted Melio support on 2/16 due to Melio randomly sending out multiple unscheduled payments to a vendor. After a couple days of not hearing back from support, I called the Melio support number on 2/18 to get the second random check cancelled and our money returned. The second check was finally cancelled on 2/23 and money returned to our checking account. After this mess I knew I didn't want this happening again and wanted to stop all scheduled payments on Melio. As a small business with limited funds having at random $4000 pulled from our account hurt us. I attempted to remove the scheduled payments from our account, but the scheduled payment was not appearing in our account. On 2/23 I contacted Melio support again, but they were not able to resolve the issue and stated it would need to be escalated. On 2/28 I contacted Melio support again about the issue, and I was told that since there was still a check to the vendor that needed to be deposited and once it was deposited we'd be able to cancel any future scheduled payments. We then waited for the check to be deposited on 3/7 then checked or account. Sure enough we still are not able to cancel the scheduled payments, since it does not show up in our Melio scheduled payments page. I contacted Melio support again on 3/9 and was told again that the issue would have to be escalated. I let Melio support know at this point we needed our account closed due to all these issues. I still haven't heard back from them and am so worried they will continue to take money from our account at random and there is nothing we can do. I've also tried calling over the past few days and haven't been able to reach anyone for support. Please help!

Melio Payments I've been a loyal client of a payment processing system for vendor transactions

I've been a loyal client of a certain payment processing system, using it for vendor transactions. On June 1, 2022, I submitted a same-day payment and paid a 1% fee for my vendor DST Media LLC. I had two separate payments to process for this vendor, one for $814.06 and another for $12.49. The $814.06 was scheduled for June 1st, and the $12.49 for June 2nd. On June 2nd, I found two $814.06 charges, one pending, one posted. Typically, pending payments in my bank clear the next business day. I contacted chat support immediately, needing urgent help. The agent, lacking knowledge, insisted there were only two invoices, for $12.49 and $814.06. I explained the error of being charged $814.06 twice. I requested a phone call due to the urgency and the significant amount, but was told to email and wait. This isn't acceptable for urgent issues. Previously, a sales team reached out to me, and now, after nearly two years as a customer, I couldn't get a call back. I demand future fee waivers for this mishap, specifically next month's same-day fees for ACH. I expect a phone call explaining the situation, not a generic email, and a refund of the duplicate $814.06 charge.

Melio Payments Melio is all about non-payment and no customer service

Melio is all about non-payment and no customer service. It's a pretty website wrapped around a company that will: (1) keep your money, (2) pretend that they already paid you (they lie), (3) delay payment without a reason, (4) does not provide solution to their payment processing problems, (5) have no customer support, (6) redirect you back to the payor - when they ARE SUPPOSEDLY the payment processor. February 2022 to present (End of March): My experience with Melio is the following: Had a payor send me funds. Added my information to Melio (copy / paste from source). Look on dashboard and no payments noted (meaning they have buggy beta software, and cannot link important client information -> huge financial issue for the rest of us). I reach out to support. Support tells me to talk to the payor. *** tells me to talk to Melio. This cycle goes on for several email exchanges. Look for melio telephone number online - no one picks up (fake number). Melio lies and states that the payment was sent to me. I verify with bank... and obviously nothing. Bank tells me its on Melio. Come back to melio, and support is extremely vague and unhelpful. Go through several cycles of trying to obtain payment (so I can pay my business vendors). With several wasted business hours of complaining to melio, I get an offer from the payor to send my payment the slow way (check). Check was for first payments and extremely late. You would think that they were playing a joke on me, but I have another payment due (and it is not in on the date Melio specified). Melio is an inconvenient, poor-customer-service having, IT-failing, *** "payment processor". SUMMARY:Do not use! Untrustworthy, unhelpful, unworthy, unnecessary.I would not recommend them to my worst enemy- not in business, not personally, and not spiritually.
